Your 'New Normal' Life (In Pictures)

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Stucky via The Burning Platform blog,

You were born free … a bundle of tremendous potential.

585

.

You were loved, and loved unconditionally.

.

The concept of lack was foreign to you.

.

As you grew you started to question the world around you.

.

You hunted fireflies on warm summer nights and you put them in jars to light your room at night.

B4INREMOTE-aHR0cDovLzMuYnAuYmxvZ3Nwb3QuY29tLy0ydm1tQzAzOHpTNC9VYWc5cUlFT2JUSS9BQUFBQUFBQUIzWS9mWHNqRDVrQ0E1ay9zNjQwLzAyay0rZmlyZWZseXMuanBn

.

And the door to your imagination was never locked.

B4INREMOTE-aHR0cDovLzMuYnAuYmxvZ3Nwb3QuY29tLy0tUV93QWZqT0Vxby9VYWctODI1TElnSS9BQUFBQUFBQUIzcy9fM0dmcTZHLS1ZUS9zNjQwLzA1LjUtZG9vcitvZitpbWFnaW5hdGlvbi5qcGc=

.

Einstein said, “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.”  But government schools were more interested in you becoming an obedient drone … and they wound up killing your joy of learning.

.

You were ridiculed when you challenged the status quo.

.

You were judged … and so learned to judge others.

.

And so you allowed group mentality to sway your actions and decisions.

.

The Powers That Be worked very hard to make you believe you have no power, no control. So, you did as you were told, and feared the consequences of what would happen if you did not. You became ruled by fear.

B4INREMOTE-aHR0cDovLzQuYnAuYmxvZ3Nwb3QuY29tLy1McFBBMzI5a2N3NC9VYWhBeDJUb1UxSS9BQUFBQUFBQUI0SS9MdVZZdjRJYThQMC9zNjQwLzAwNi41X2NoaWxkaG9vZF9mZWFycy5qcGc=

.

But, your beliefs were formed by television programming.

.

And what your culture says you should believe about God …. pick one.

.

And by what your government wants you to believe about itself, and what you should sacrifice for blind Patriotism.

.

You sought news of the world … but were fed propaganda.

.

You were presented with continuous distractions to keep you from questioning the reality around you.

.

You were kept deliberately ignorant.

.

You were given hope … that you could effect change by voting. But hope was crushed when you realized both parties played the same hand.

.

So, you joined the rat race as no other options seemed evident.

.

You were trained to be a consumer.

.

You bought into The American Dream.

.

.

They fed you poison.

.

You acquired debt.

.

You ….. conformed. Is it any wonder you feel confused and hopeless?

B4INREMOTE-aHR0cDovLzIuYnAuYmxvZ3Nwb3QuY29tLy1VNTluVDhYUXdJYy9VYWhQZDdPWGFWSS9BQUFBQUFBQUI2ay9jb0dmV1BvVWVwcy9zNjQwLzA4ZC1kcm93bmluZytodW1hbml0eS5qcGc=

.

But … you’ve felt it all your life …. that it’s all just an illusion.

B4INREMOTE-aHR0cDovLzIuYnAuYmxvZ3Nwb3QuY29tLy1TQzAwQTNmZmlnTS9VYWhUUFpmX21GSS9BQUFBQUFBQUI3ay91U1VpR3k2WXNmWS9zNjQwLzA5eitTUEFSSytPRitIT1BFLkpQRw==

You let the past dictate your present, and you worry about your future. But you only have the present … living in the moment is all you can do.  Once you realize no one has power over your thoughts … you will never again act against your will.

.

Just remember who you are … the same soul that was born all those years ago (though your years may be closer in age to the hands holding the baby).

585

But, years of conditioning almost completely eroded your sense of who you are, and the power within you. Don’t you want to change? Will you roll the red die, or the green one?

.

It’s your choice, completely.

Just accept no authority and take full responsability.
Only wild animals have more freedom, but I doubt that is something most of us aspire to.

Wild animals that produce what they need to survive and enjoy life rather than lie, cheat, steal and defraud to abscond with goods and goodies produced by others.  That's pretty close, though some more honest and insightful humans might ask why we call them "wild" when they harm others only in self-defense.

i was watching a (natgeo?) show about meerkats on the savanna, how they were hunting while at the same time trying to be on the lookout for predatory birds.

one clever bid (a raven i think it was) developed a rapport with the meerkats, cawing loudly a few times when a falcon approached and warning them away.

once the meerkats trusted the raven as an early warning system, they went out hunting again... and just as they had incapacitated a nice juicy scorpion, the raven cawed and the meerkats all ran for their burrows.

but, there was no predator, and the clever raven swooped in, grabbed their scorpion, and flew off to eat it.

so, it's not an unusual feature of animals to cheat and steal, whether the animals in question happen to be human or not.

That's entirely acurate.  Anmials in the wild often use deception for hunting and protection.  The strong often steal meals from weaker preditors.

They are no more free than their hunger can take them.  They are as much trapped in the ecological system as we are.  Feedom is just another word.

You make the common mistake of failing to distinguish "human predators" from "human producers".  Every predator is inherently a dependent creature.  Why?  Because a predator survives and prospers by consuming naturally occurring goods and goodies (whatever she/he/it can find or catch).  A predator depends upon those naturally occurring goods and goodies.

In contrast, a "human producer" creates goods and goodies that would not otherwise have come to exist by natural occurring processes in the environment.  So, unlike [human] predators, human producers create whatever goods and goodies they need to survive.  Which means, they are not dependent... not upon predators and not upon other producers (though they may benefit from trade with other producers).

To make this simple to understand, consider what happens if you land a human predator on one side of Mars with basic survival requirements, and land a human producer on the opposite side of Mars equally equipped.  The human predator will eat all the food he has, then perish.  The human producer will plant, tend, care-for and eventually harvest whatever seeds he has (recursively), and thereby be able to survive indefinitely and without any external input or help.

This is a fundamental difference, but predator propaganda obscures this very important, very fundamental fact.  Which is why humans are screwed.

First they ignore you, then they lie to you, then they ridicule you, then they get you to fight each other, then you all lose.

Unless, of course, you completely reject ALL other humans and their claims at an early age, exclusively observe and think for yourself, and ignore virtually all trivialities of normal life.  Then you have a chance to understand the fundamental nature of reality and consciousness, and make significant decisions for yourself.  Otherwise, you allowed yourself to become a slave, and advocate the enslavement of everyone else.

Fri, 09/26/2014 - 21:05 | 5261795 MasterOfTheMult...
MasterOfTheMultiverse's picture

Yep, but when you finally do understand that fundamental nature of reality and consciousness, you run a significant risk of being assassinated!

Another quote then by another true thinker (others may highly disagree with this though), Noam Chomsky: “The whole educational and professional training system is a very elaborate filter, which just weeds out people who are too independent, and who think for themselves, and who don't know how to be submissive, and so on -- because they're dysfunctional to the institutions.”

Yes.  That's why I live about 125km from the nearest human being in self-sufficient digs that cannot be reached by land vehicle, or recognized from above.

Intransigent honesty (with self) makes an individual utterly useless to institutions and the system, not to mention a potential enemy.  Intransigent honesty with self is in fact the most offensive charactertistic to the predators-that-be.

That sounds idyllic, except that my dog has complex health issues and constant veterinary needs.  Our loved ones make cowards of us, or at least they can make us live where we would never choose to on our own.  You can risk your own neck in the middle of nowhere, but force it on Gramps or Fido?  That's tougher, for me anyway.  Try to steer clear of attachments, honestann; they are ruination.

I know what I'm about to say is counterintuitive, but I have now lived alone in what people call "extreme boonies" twice in my life (for 7 years many years ago, and for the past 3 years).  I can assure you that I am safer alone in the extreme boonies than most folks are in the uncivilization people call cities, suburbs, towns.

I totally understand that this claim sounds absurd.  The first time I moved to the extreme boonies for 7 years, I expected my life would be in more danger than before (in suburbs or a modest distance outside of a town), but over the years I realized the exact opposite was true.  Nonetheless, I will admit that someone who is essentially clueless, careless and very low on the alertness scale might be at more risk in the boonies where I lived, but not anyone who practices just reasonable degrees of alertness, carefulness and thoughtfulness.

I do agree that people are GROSSLY over-controlled by the influence of others.  It annoys me to no end to find so many "individualist types" who refuse to make their lives better because they allow their relatives, friends or (often) pets control them.  It is just crazy that in the human species in particular, the blind do indeed lead the sighted.  !!! SICK !!!

I make very few friends relative to other folks, but note that doctors and hospitals MURDERED two of my friends.  I know for a fact that I am vastly better off medically by researching for myself, and choosing actions for myself.  Since I moved to the southern hemisphere, getting hold of conventional medicine without "official permission" is much easier.

But I almost don't ever take any conventional medicine any longer, because I've found through research and trial-and-error that natural herbs are much more effective for most conditions, and have vastly fewer (if any) side effects.  I do keep a stash of three types of antibiotics handy in case I cut myself and get infected, get an insect bite and catch typhus or something, get food poisoning (extremely unlikely now that I grow my own), or otherwise need to kill bacteria.

Strip away the brainwashing and most people on this planet have intelligence.

Dumb humans, yeah I agree. Self-centered and focused on media untruth.  Idiots?  Yeah all that.  But I have belief.  People are not naturally brainwashed and that is the gist of this show above.  Strip the crap away and you do have opportunity.  And I am one of the least optimistic people here.

Really? I got more like that, not less, as I aged. I am so much fun at parties!

I speak truth to bullshit everywhere - it's the only hope any of us have, and I sleep well at night.

Thing is that I understand, and accept, that saying these things has consequences. I don't expect a planet of sheep to treat me swimmingly.

So I tolerate the lack of money, and the non-corporate job, ""he is not company material"", and all that, and know that I am my own man on my own terms.

I do not think this is so unusual, but it seems that it is...

Nonsense.  You are born helpless.  you need someone to provide every requirement of life - water, food, shelter, clothing, sanitation.  Luckily parents are generally willing to provide for their children.  The challange of life is to make yourself self sufficient so you are not beholding to anyone for your existence.  Your duty in life is to move yourselfd from total dependency to self supporting adult beholding to no one who deals with others voluntarily.

Yeah, idealize infancy.  Haha.  A few years before she died at age 86 my grandmother apologized to me for having left me in the "back room" for so much of the time, ignoring my crying, so that she could get stuff done, and because, well, if you pay attention to crying babies, they won't shut up.  I told her "oh no, Grandma, no need to apologize; I turned out fine!!"  After all, when my (very young) parents noticed that my head was flattening on one side (that happens to infants if you don't turn them regularly), they checked with the doctor to determine the cause and made sure I was thereafter turned.  Well, my grandmother was an uneducated immigrant; didn't know better.  But I doubt she was entirely unusual.  It would have been better if she had had Oprah to learn from.

Infancy is highly overrated as a time in life.

Interesting pictures but they don't really mean much.  Even these pictures are just part of the Matrix.  This guy doesn't know what true freedom is.  True freedom is the freedom to think and make decisions and we all do that no matter what outside influences we encounter.  We might make bad choices if we have false information but we are free to choose.  The only things that change that freedom are drugs, alcohol and anything else that alters our ability to think.  Many people succumb to these things of their own choice and then loose freedom to think and choose.  Being able to act on the choices we make is nice but comes after the freedom to choose and not before.  Many of us are losing the freedom to act but that happens anyway with age.  It's part of life.  Get used to it.

And then we learned Einstein was a fraud, but everybody keeps quoting him because they are brain washed.

Most of Einstein’s root ideas like ENERGY AND MATTER IS INTER CONVERTIBLE , SPACE TIME DILATION etc were known to other Europeans as these were written down in the Vedas 7000 years ago. There is absolute written proof that Olinto De Pretto, an industrialist from Vicenza, published the equation E=mc^2 in a scientific magazine, Atte, in 1903. Einstein allegedly used De Pretto’s insight in a major paper published in 1905, but De Pretto was never acclaimed– as R monopolised the media and peer reviewed magazines . Einstein married a Serbian mathematicain to handle his math theories and later divorced her. He was not considered knowledgeable enough to work on the Manhattan project. There is a great book on the subject. “The Manufacture and Sale of Saint Einstein -by Christopher Jon Bjerknes”.

Think about the tribal genius it took to elevate a non genius to the widely accepted staus of a genius. Suckshit Fraud is the father of modern psychology.  The tribe could never cook but now they are inventing hummus and falafel. It takes a special talent to operate a highly organized multifaceted con game that operates globally and on many fronts in a coordinated fashion. No other human group culture has acheived this level of coordinated cooperation and used it to dominate other groups. Surely there must at least be genius in this.

And then you find out it is all bullshit.

Then you find out you were even further brain washed quoted from a fake like Ghandi. The brits wanted to get their army out of Indian with little violence. Ghandi was Rothschild's man for the job.

Super naive , Gandhi was brainwashed with a SATYAGRAHA NON-VIOLENT CONCEPT by crypto Jew Leo Tolstoy first, and then by a handpicked German Jew Hermann Kallenback in the direct employment of Rothschild, who stayed with him as a bed room mate.

Politicians in India have generally and across the political spectrum denounced the book and demanded it be banned as being allegedly defamatory, with the Government of Gujarat under Narendra Modi banning the book as "perverse in nature... hurting the sentiments of those with capacity for sane and logical thinking," and demanding a "public apology" from Lelyveld, and with Federal Law Minister Veerappa Moily of the Governments of India and Industries Minister Narayan Rane of the Government of Maharashtra promising to ban it.

The State Assembly of Gujarat (with a population of more than 50 million), where Gandhi was born, voted unanimously to ban the book immediately after the state’s chief minister, Narendra Modi, said it “deserves to be despised.”. Its publication “shall not be tolerated under any circumstances,” Chief Minister of Gujarat Modi declared, according to the Associated Press.

Above picture: -- " Hi Indians, I am the MAHATMA -- you must join the British army and fight -- killing Germans is NOT violence. But killing our dear British rulers , and driving them away from India is VIOLENCE-- and I wont allow that! Remember I am the chosen messiah on the driver's seat of our freedom struggle !!

Brave Indian soldiers were used in the suicidal areas on the Western Front, in the "deadly" Battle of Gallipoli, in the Sinai, Palestine, Mesopotamia Campaigns, the Siege of Kut and in the Battle of Tanga in East Africa.

While it's great they are taking a stance however it's still the same edumacation system and reading their posters it doesn't convey they know what they're standing for.

All they have to do is give in to the students and back to obedient drones as pictured in the article...

pssst -- buddy, if you want freedom, you can have it.

You just need to be willing to sacrifice everything else.

There are a number of commenters who wish to cling to their arrogance, their supposed superiority.  That too must be abandoned.  Learn to respect other people for their choices, every single person on earth has something good about them, something you can benefit from, something you can learn from.  This even includes the 0.1% ....

There will always be a large part of the population who would rather leave the thinking to someone else than burn the calories using their brain. They, by definition are fodder for the not so lazy. The question then becomes do we allow society to dumb down to their least common denominator of IQ or push for scientific advancement for the good of us all. The social thinker who is just slightly ahead of this portion quickly learns that it is easier to control others through fear for his own good instead of the good of society. He should be promptly hung on the nearest lamp post.

the total sociopath is insane, those that kill for control of society, may or may not be sociopaths, but for those who seek basic truth..life is a gift, for those of us who understand: not in a billion billion years will it come again to us..how we live is up to us, what the details of what is to be one's life is based on others and the time and place..we are alone but tied to events beyond our control, science gives us goods and tools, but many come with strings. .gov serves masters who's world view holds war as a tool, from that you can understand much.

It ought to be obvious by now that the opening sentence is  a bold faced lie.

Only an exceptional fraction of 6.7 billion human beans qualify for  being ".. born free … a bundle of tremendous potential".

The sad fact is that we are born with very limited potential, born with inherent limitations, mainly because we are not bred like Thoroughbreds, with selected blood lines.

We are a rag tag bunch, engaged in random chaotic matings for reasons that put 'breeding' last among the criteria for having children.

How much better off would the world be if two average I Q people who aren't very attractive, prone to laziness, and proud of being uneducaable did not reproduce.

The elite among us with all kinds of genetic advantages in temperament (you are born with your personality, folks) intelligence, emotional control, and native talents for one endeavor or another, will in the macro sense, have achieved far more than the masses.

Those who have kids are likely to hate that fact.

Or change the world as you know it, from your arm chair.

Civil Disobedience.

"Withholding payment of taxes is one of the quickest methods of overthrowing a government"
Mahatma Gandhi

Money is the blood that keeps this Circle jerk game, going round and round.

Withhold money and you cut their blood flow, which i believe the masses are just starting to learn.

We need a fair system that works for all.

Humanity needs to make a choice.
