How Bad Could It Get? US Government Order Of 160,000 HazMat Suits Gives A Clue
Now that Ebola is officially in the US on an uncontrolled basis, the two questions on everyone's lips are i) who will get sick next and ii) how bad could it get?
We don't know the answer to question #1 just yet, but when it comes to the second one, a press release three weeks ago from Lakeland Industries, a manufacturer and seller of a "comprehensive line of safety garments and accessories for the industrial protective clothing market" may provide some insight into just how bad the US State Department thinks it may get. Because when the US government buys 160,000 hazmat suits specifically designed against Ebola, just ahead of the worst Ebola epidemic in history making US landfall, one wonders: what do they know the we don't?

(LAKE), a leading global manufacturer of industrial protective clothing for industry, municipalities, healthcare and to first responders on the federal, state and local levels, today announced the global availability of its protective apparel for use in handling the Ebola virus. In response to the increasing demand for specialty protective suits to be worm by healthcare workers and others being exposed to Ebola, Lakeland is increasing its manufacturing capacity for these garments and includes proprietary processes for specialized seam sealing, a far superior technology for protecting against viral hazards than non-sealed products.

Rockwall is outside of Fort Worth: according to Corporate, they sold all of their preparedness water. Not their bottled water. They sell* 20-packs of 5-gallon water bottles (The H20 Reserve - sold out link) with one pump filter for $150. They sold out of those. The spokeswoman would not say how many, she just wanted to say they have plenty of bottled water throughout Ft Worth.
These were "apparently" the things folks were filling with gas that were mistaken for gas cans.

How honestly can anyone with above average intelligence believe that countries such as the US are more prepared for an epidemic?
It makes no sense when you have a school system such as ours. Add in public transport and shopping centers, fast food and the workforce and Ebola could go from 1 to 50,000 in a couple of days easily.
For example, it takes one teacher to infect 100s of children a day, it takes 100s of children to infect 1,000s of children it takes 1,000s of children to infect 1,000s of families in takes 1,000s of families to infect entire cities.
The health system will BREAK, society will BREAK.
Countries like the US are in far more danger because of the reliance on a functioning system for everyday like including FOOD, MEDICATIONS, FUEL and UTILITIES ++

What is currently going on and how it is being handled is the reason I warned people not to expect the government to save their ass. High profile incidents covered by the media often reassures the public that the government stands ready to rush to our aid in case of a national disaster. Following a tornado or hurricane in the newscast we see FEMA workers spread-out and moving from door to door offering help to Americans in need.
Be prepared that in the case of a major crisis or disaster the government will prove largely ineffective. If and when a really large Armageddon event does occur we will quickly become acutely aware that God helps those who help themselves. More on this subject in the article below.

It seems things are going from bad to worse. When researching the latest news on the Ebola outbreak I was surprised not to find a lot more fast developing news. It seems Americans have dropped this into the dustbin as an also ran or nuisance thing that when kept at a distance is of little interest. Unfortunately this may soon change as the virus is picking up "critical mass."
By critical mass I'm referring to the point where enough people are infected with the virus that it can sustain a chain reaction and expand out of control. The bad news is Ebola may have already reached critical mass and be impossible to contain. The implications of this are massive and it could change everything.
