Dead bodies will be stacked like a cord of wood on Wall Street and the "markets" wil still go higher on auto pilot. Once the Fed realized that the entire country uses the stock market number as an economic barometer, they will never let it go down again.

So, we have a couple of explanations for this:

1. Americans are so dumbass stupid, that they gonna deserve their own extinction

2. The alert level is so high that authorities try to calm down even medical personal, telling them that it's just another flu, and giving instructions according the scenario

3. The authorities are purposely trying to start the contagion

4. Everything is just a big circus, medical personal knows that, meanwhile their bosses are expecting to profit from the false flag (or gov is trying to draw the attention from international hotspots).

"3. The authorities are purposely trying to start the contagion "

.GOV have come to realize that they can't inflate their way out of the unfunded liabilities of Social Security, Medicare, the ACA, the .GOV bureaucrat's pensions; so this is how they are going to get out of paying or defaulting the off balance sheet debts...

Given the reported data, the growth rate has been slowing.  Unfortunately I don't have a lot of faith in the numbers, they seem to be increasingly managed (both ways) for political purposes.  There are several treatment expansions that have been brought online since 12 Sep or are in that process, so one should expect the composition of the data to change.

* Original estimate for two day's worth of Liberian data was too high, this figure revised using actual reported numbers.  Monrovia (Liberia) and Freetown (Sierra Leone) reported confirmed case rates have decreased. "

Does that infer that transmission may have peaked in thse jurisdictions, or that statistical reporting of confirmed cases has likely further diverged from the previously accepted ratio of confirmed reported cases to unconfirmed/suspected cases?

See Monrovia from Figure 3. on the 1 Oct WHO sitrep:

http://apps.who.int/iris/bitstream/10665/135600/1/roadmapsitrep_1Oct2014...

Either they tested a crazy number of people during the weeks of Sep 7 and Sep 14 and then took the rest of the month off, their lab reports are bunched (testing in batches), or everyone has been sheltering in place for two weeks.

In the 3 Oct sitrep:

http://apps.who.int/iris/bitstream/10665/135765/1/roadmapupdate3oct14_en...

there is this caveat:

"* In Liberia, three more confirmed deaths have been reported than have confirmed cases. In addition, the total number of confirmed cases is a relatively small proportion of all cases in Liberia, compared with Guinea and Sierra Leone. Laboratory capacity for case confirmation is being increased."

Makes you wonder if they're burning lab workers at the same or greater rate as field MDs.

Hadn't thought of that.  Figured their machine was down, or they ran out of reagents.  The U.S. has opened two labs, so I guess we'll see if they share any data or not.

Yes, if true that would mean that the rough CFR estimate, known to be on the low side due to construction, is far, far too low.  While it's already known to be low for several reasons explained previously, adding those missing deaths back in over time would explain the falling CFR and bring the estimate up to 59%.

Presuming we get secondary/tertiary infections, the CDC may not be as forthcoming as have the countries involved in the African outbreak.  And now that the US is there, looks like Liberia intends to shut down press inquiry and third party verification:

" Liberia imposes media curbs on Ebola coverage

DAKAR: Journalists will need official permission to cover many aspects of the Ebola outbreak in Liberia under new rules that the government said aimed at protecting patient privacy. Journalists could be arrested and prosecuted if they fail to get written permission from the health ministry before contacting Ebola patients, conducting interviews or filming or photographing healthcare facilities, officials said."

It might be time to become vigilant in monitoring the emergency scanner/comm frequencies/channels on a regional and/or local basis for actual mobilized responses and use that information to regress/model against the public disclosures.

We should also reach out to honest actors within the system that would be willing to leak vital info as it is available to them.

The fucking bureaucrats are lying to us and we are going to have to gather information directly from their communications sources and deduct from that information if we are not going to be fooled into inappropriate action or lack of action.

Air France suspends flights to Ebola-hit Sierra Leone at request of French government ... days after crew signed safety petition and refused to board flights

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-2735698/Citing-Ebola-Air-France-suspends-flights.html

The decision came as British Airways announced it was extending its flight suspension to Liberia and Sierra Leone to December.

The British carrier initially said it was halting its service between Heathrow Airport and Liberia and Sierra Leone until the end of August due to ‘the deteriorating public health situation in both countries’, but it confirmed that it is extending the suspension until 31 December.

BBC reporter, James Gallagher, asked what was the best evidence to date on using survivors’ blood to treat Ebola patients.

“Data that were published, I don’t remember the journal, I think the Journal of Infectious Diseases 1995, that’s the only one I know. But I do know, not for Ebola but for other diseases, convalescent serum,” said Professor Oyewale Tomori, Professor of Virology at Redemer’s University in Nigeria.

The paper in question described eight very ill Ebola patients from the 1995 outbreak being transfused with blood from five convalescing patients that contained antibodies against Ebola, but no detectable virus. Seven of eight survived, far better than the outbreak’s 80% mortality rate. The authors noted, however, that the eight received much better general medical care than the general population might have otherwise.

Actually Magnum, his diet is probably quite varied and sensitive to foods from the US. While it is true the settlers of Liberia hail from liberated survivors of your civil war, they are still breedstock of slaves imported to a world and culture quite foreign to the African ... with lack of a better word ... gut. In this day and age he might have dined at any number of restaurants with culturally similar foodstuffs, such as Ethiopian, Moroccan or more popularly Kenyan. As such his vomitus might consist of such raw flours as Teff, which will carry a strain of fauna for quite a long period of time without presence of carbohydrate fuel.
