The Muslims say that these recent beheadings don't represent the basis of their religion, yet the Islamic "prophet" had many swords named things like "Cleaver of Vertebrae" (ask yourself why the general symbol for Muslims always involves some kind of sword ) because Muhammad was an "extremist".
By definition if you compare Christianity and Islam, you could "fairly" say that Muhammad was a sort of "anti-Christ" or harbinger of the spirit of the antichrist.

My guess is because the good old school satanists are either fairly uncommon or invisible to the public. Satanism is essentially anti-Judeo-Christianity and as such agrees on the existance of Yahweh/God. It just disagrees on who the good and bad guys are. In this, it is significantly different from atheism or even Islam, although both are really useful in many ways.

If you read the secular history of Mohammed he was heavily influenced by Jews and Christians. In fact, the Christian king of Ethiopia, Nagash gave sanctuary to Mohammed's family as he was losing his early battles with the pagans. Later, when the Jews refused to join him he sort of turned on them forever more.
Mohammed created his own similar religion out of bits and pieces of generally Old Testament type Judaism and some teachings of Christianity. It is why it has a similar flavor and style but thoroughly adds the very temporal earthly writings of a man bent on an earthly kingdom and even pleasures (72 virgins anyone?).
It is interesting to note that Christianity rejects all other religions except Judaism as well. It is very clear even in the Old Testament that Yahweh states the others are fakes and their are no gods of stone, wood, rock and gold. It is a fight against them from the earliest passages of the Christian Bible. In that very limited and contextual space the Christian agrees partially with the atheist. There are lots of fake or religious beliefs with no basis. Obviously, they part ways at the totality of atheism.
Also, the Crusades have been badly miscast by those generally seeking to misinterpret them. They were never ever about conquering all of Islam or even a specific war against all of Islam. In general it was to reopen the holy lands for pilgrims and to reclaim the Christian lands of origin after about 30 to 400 years of Muslim depradations and expansion. They were as much a cultural war of the West against the East as anything religious which is why they have characteristics of both.

So now we have the clear bias of this messenger, the Pew Research Center. All that’s left is for someone to come along with enough money to buy the results they need from this widely quoted pollster. It goes without saying that the state of Israel could certainly use a widely quoted survey of how popular their people are in spite of a flood of negative images following the latest war in Gaza.
Interesting that this particular survey being touted was conducted before the latest Gaza massacre.
Also interesting is the composition of the survey heavily favoring Jews because 32% of the respondents were evangelical Christians - evangelicals in the survey, of course, rated Jews positively with a rating of 69.
According to Pew: Jews gave themselves an 89 rating. For other faith groups, Jews gave Catholics a 58 rating, Buddhists 61, Hindus 57, atheists 55, Mormons 48, Muslims 35 and Jews rated evangelicals 34.
The sample, obviously selected to provide the result Pew wants, didn’t even pretend to give a representative sampling of America’s religious faiths (with evangelical Christians representing nearly 40% of white Protestant America).. The emphasis on Jews is regrettable in that Judaism, Buddism, Islam, and Hinduism make up only 4% of American religious affiliations while Christians make up 76% of American religious affiliation.
