The current Ebola outbreak in West Africa (which now accounts for 4,000 deaths worldwide) began in Guinea in December 2013. From there, it quickly spread to Liberia and Sierra Leone. Cases also appeared in Senegal and Nigeria, and a separate outbreak appeared in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Today, Liberia lies is at the center of the epidemic . As President Barack Obama sends American military personnel to West Africa to help combat the epidemic, VICE News traveled to the Liberian capital of Monrovia to spend time with those on the front lines of the outbreak... the scenes are disturbing.

No buildings can't become contaminated. it's a naked loop of RNA; it has no defense or resistance to anything; oxygen, light, metals, (all metals have surface activity). it's very fragile and can't survive for any significant length of time in the normal world; in the biosphere. as fas as a bacteria is concerned, for instance; it's just lunch. and you're covered in bacteria. it doesn't make avery good villain in a horror movie unless you live in a African town whith all that implies; crowdering, under-nourishment, etc. etc.

Cold and flu season is approaching. The stomach virus kicks into gear this time of year as well and is easily passed between school children and households stuck inside due to cold weather. Things could get real interesting. I would not want to work in an ER/Hospital environment in these coming months.

I am seeing more and more posts about this being a false flag event. Is it? To heck if I know. Personally, I don't think it is, but I would not put ANYTHING past our 'leaders' any more. But I am treating this like any other potential game changing event. BE PREPARED and if you are not, then GET PREPARED. If it is the real deal and the virus turns out to be this centuries' version of the Spanish Flu, then you will be ready, as best you can be. And, if it is a complete hoax, false flag event, then you have to ask yourself why? Why do they want you to think or act a particular way to their stimulus? Again, who knows?? Ultimately, it may not matter, because what ever it is they are up to, you have very little if any contol over what they do. But, you can be sure that it most likely does not benefit you in any way. So, again, be PREPARED.

My GREAT FEAR is that at some point, I need to pick up the phone and tell my loved ones, they need to get to the fuck out of dodge, drop everything, and come out to the farm. To early and they lose their jobs for nothing, and causes a great disruption in their lives. Too late and they all die.

My wife and I were discussing this today. I am not sure what our 'trigger event' or 'body threshold' would be in this situation. We have children and that tends to make one's perspective a little different. We are typical middle class folks and certainly can't walk away from our jobs if the numbers of infected start to grow. I pray that we never reach a point where a decision to withdraw has to be made. Like many on ZH, I watch and wait. The sharing of information is the best defense we have. Granted, you have to sift through it and decide what is real and works for you individually.

Instead policy should be to:
1. Block anyone who has been in Africa from entering USA
2. Help spread ebola as widely as possible in Africa to knock down absurdly excessive primitive human population
3. After human population has been reduced to much lower level and ebola epidemic has burned out, repopulate Africa with modern civilized humans, redraw national borders, etc

Honest question, what's the use of sending military people to "combat" ebola? Like, are they gonna fire their M16s at it? Why not just send medics, nurses or supplies if they really wanna help?
My understanding is these are logistics units. They specialize in getting shit sorted out so that resources can be made available quickly. They'll also be building FOB's to be used as treatment centers once enough health care workers are drafted from the ObamaCare Federal Health Force.

My conspiracy theory is:
1) TPTB know that the economy is in terminal decline (thanks to the banking mafia imo but that's a separate issue) and they they will eventually have to dramatically reduce govt. expenditure. This could be either welfare or warfare money.
2) They'll want to keep as much of the warfare spending as possible which would mean large drops in welfare spending (this includes all the govt. workers administering the system so it will effect maybe half the population including the most ornery).
3) This would lead to substantial unrest hence the gradual building of a police state in advance: FEMA camps, SWAT police, TSA etc.
The way to build a police state by stealth is to scare people hence Al Queada, Isis etc and then instead of dealing with the threat itself e.g. profiling air passengers, they use it as an excuse to build another piece of the gulag e.g. TSA.
So if the TPTB thought it wasn't contagious enough to provide a serious threat to the US but enough to cause a panic then taking advantage of an Ebola outbreak (or starting one) would provide a nice scare to use to change some law or other or get people used to some new health related TSA.
But then of course sometimes accidents happen.
My personal guess is Ebola on its own is not as much of a threat as is being portrayed and it's being used as a scare tactic to bring in something TSA-like related to health but some factor connected to PC will make it much more of a threat than the scarers intended.
