Ebola In America - It's The Republicans' Fault?

Tyler Durden's picture

Is anyone really surprised by this?

This ad (funded by The Agenda Project - a progressive non-profit political organization founded in 2010 by author Erica Payne), as RealClearPolitics reports, featuring clips of Mitch McConnell, Pat Roberts, and many other Republicans implies that austerity cuts to the CDC and NIH are responsible for the 2014 Ebola outbreak.

This ad will run in Kentucky and other states leading up to the election.

Chicago politics in Washington at it's best.
Out of the Chicago political machine playbook.

You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.

Such claims, no matter the issue, are all so predictable now.  Where is this heading?  It is heading to the killing fields.  When a ruling party, with a lockstep media, a petri dish in BigGovEd, you better check your history and comparative political systems.  The killing fields don't have to be mass murder.  It can be a certain number dying in SWAT raids for failing to abide by local historic buildings codes to stints in prisons for writing a lacking in intent threat to a politician, lives terrorized and destroyed through various economic takings by government.  One only has to look just at the last six years; the IRS, EPA, DOI/Fish and Wildlife Service, HUD, and actually all of them at this point.

The poverty level for 2014 for a family of four is 24K so if they raised the minimum wage to 12.50 it would eliminate many who qualify for .gov benefits, maybe.

Of course that doesn't account for the families that decide not to get married so momma is a single parent with all of the benefits there of while still shacking.

1. There have been few if any cuts and implying this is the cause of the outbreak is heinous politics. 2. Since there is no cure a quarantine of W. Africa travelers is necessary and Obama refuses. 3. Assuming there was a way of stopping Ebola dead in it's tracks with a said amount of money you would still quarantine and not invite more cases in to the country if you had any sense of responsibility for this country. 4. Not only do we invite it in we infect every hospital setting with it by not forming a triage outside of these hospital systems. 5. This is dereliction of duty of the highest office in the land and Obama will be impeached if this continues unabated. Mark my words.

Liberals (not classic liberals) don't really understand that money doesn't buy compitence.  The CDC is incompetent.  Kind of like schools, where they like to just throw money at it and it never solves the reason why the public school systems sucks and is failing, because they fail to address the issues of why they fail (neo-liberalism).

twii- there is a difference as it relates to ideology of Republican vs. Democrat.  The political and elected parties are very similar with few differences. take illegal immigration for example.  Republicans want amnesty for the chamber of commerce and with hopes of illegals liking them enough to vote for them.

Democrats want amnesty to create a permanent underclass that will vote for them because they get government benefits for just about everything and anythings.  Having a voting army that is hard to track, especially with voter fraud, would insure the citizens vote not mattering.

The difference is ideology.

Its the republicans fault is, has been, always will be the only tool that the left has as any type of "arguement" against republicans.  All of this that we are dealing with, no matter what it is, has been because government is involved. Including the stock market.

Things that fail should fail.  the government trying to back up their promises via pensions and city government operations with use of bonds/treasuries rather than using real public money that is consentually given not taken would not give the need for government to stick its nose in the private sector.  the fast and loose crowd would pay for their recklessness upon financial failure. Criminal penalties would come later like Madoff.  Corzine not so much that fucking crooked cunt (ht Itm96).

Regulations are a matter of line crossing and if you cross it then you pay the price. government getting involved to look the other way on regulations for special groups who donate to them is not an example of free market.

All of this is laid at the feet of government who wishes to create a crisis in order to take advantage of it for the purposes of control.

Everything is always the GOP fault because the socialist Dems own the MSM. MSM is the Dem cloaking device that will never call out one of their own.

The only way to get the MSM to do their job is to elect a Repub president and Senate like the days when Bush was president. They did not have a problem doing their job then... so spare me the Red team = Blue team blather because it ain't so when it comes to the MSM.

Ebola is only GOPs fault insofar as they are not pounding the table for the alternative, ie., banning flights form Ebola countries. But neither are the Dems. Nobody wants to be in charge of the clusterfucks.

ALL of Government is responsible. Including the hierarchy of the military which are allowing this to continue. It is all toward a single goal total control of and eventual reduction of the global population.

This is why no matter who you elect, or how much you write to your representative, or if you march on the white house, state senate, or any office they do not slow the momentum towards this goal, they do not stop the actions of these globalist tyrants.

The only solution is FINANCIAL, boycott any business the political class is invested in or own, or those business's whom support the politicians. This is the only way. If you listen to Friedan's first address regarding Ebola his chief concern was the possible economic down turn that would result from a panic. He referenced the fallout of the bird flu scare, it is my perspective that this is cover for the impending economic collapse which in my opinion is nigh. They fear this, it s for this reason that I WILL NOT ever fly again, and I will not put another penny into any business outside from the essential necessities

Perhaps both a somewhat fortuitous and unintended  circumstance.

During both R and D administrations the Pentagon has been attempting to weaponize Ebola. Information is lacking as to what direct or indirect connection, if any, that has to the current outbreak

You know, I've really fuckin' had it with the idiotic hubris of my fellow Americans, viewing every god-damned thing that happens anywhere in the world as some reflection of US domestic partisan electoral politics.  Jesus Christ on a Pogo Stick, even US domestic partisan electoral politics doesn't have all that much to do with US domestic partisan electoral politics.  Get the fuck over yourselves, you Red/Blue false dichotomy nipple-suckers.

Seriously, look at one serious major problem that actually confronts human beings.  Any problem; doesn't matter which one for the sake of this demonstration.  Think of one.  Then, think of anything proposed by any mainstream US politician that would take a direct approach to solving that problem. You can't do it; not with a straight face you can't; not if you can fog a mirror or carry out simple everyday tasks without assistance.

You know, I really love America.  I'm sad as shit to watch it fall apart in recriminations and banal trivia.  But if this is the pinnacle of what's left of our reasoning ability, then maybe it's time to let go and stop worrying about it.  If anybody with any intelligence can say this is the Democrat's fault, or this is the Republican's fault, and then insist that the Republicans or the Democrats would fix it all up just dandy if only, if only, they had the chance...Ah, fuckit. I'm not even going to finish the thought.

Even the baseball game was rained out tonight, which totally fits.  Baseball is about the last thing left in America the Finance hasn't utterly fucked up, even if you do have to go to high school, college or low-minor-league games to be left in peace.  But no, not tonight; all we get for spectacle on TV tonight is Dancing With the Stars and that crowning achievement of American atavistic tribal self-immolation, Monday Night Football.
