He is in isolation (hospital is up the street), but not symptomatic, to my knowledge. My wife also works at that hospital, and from that perpesctive, the biggest danger is insufficient CDC protocols (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuyKHzKABnY - basically Doctors w/o Borders in West Africa has better protocols than the CDC) and hospital incompetence (scheduling 50+ people to work on Mr. Duncan... 50+ exposures?).
The evidence is pointing to the CDC protocol putting staff in danger due to the recommended equipment being insufficient and difficult to remove safely, and as such we may see more cases crop up. I don't see evidence that Ebola's gone airborne; it's just that the PPEs suck.
The locals are taking no chance though; the ER is closed for lack of patients, so if you call 911 in this area expect delays because you will have to wait for an ambulance from another hospital. I haven't heard the latest patient cencus numbers but the drop should be over 70% now; a huge hit to the hospital's business. The Sheriff's Department is patrolling inside; walk too far from the lobby and you will be stopped. I also noticed that the gas station next to the hospital closed; I guess he bugged out?
However, staff are still allowed to go home, and my main concern is that just one sick-but-stubborn person goes to the busy Wal-Mart nearby and suddenly vomits on the floor. IMO that's when all hell would break loose.

If I ran a hospital and the CDC showed up and started telling me what to do, I'd have my security people arrest them.
