Too little, too late, pal.  No one believes anything that comes out of this blubbering moron's mouth. The total incompetence of "leadership" is astounding.  If it's good policy to quarantine individuals and possible contacts on a community scale, why wouldn't it be proper to quarantine countries on a global scale?  They are allowing the "seeding" of this virus all across the country.  I wonder how much of the equipment was sold to the government by politcal cronies and is defective.

Yes, but can they be at EVERY hospital w/ ebola cases in hours??

That is just great.  If they can get there within hours of a diagnosis, that should only be 3 days or so after the patient is admitted, as bloodwork is sent out, tested, and lab results returned.  LOL... the U.S. government is such a joke.

I have an idea - why don't they get to the hospital 2 to 21 days before ebola breaks out, much easier to schedule that way.

I was under the assumption the government over the decades had run disaster scenarios through multiple simulation to produce procedure for handling different crises. Guess Not.

So I have to assume: earthquake, war, weather, economic or health situations that come up in the future will be botched too.

Just wait 'til flu season hits.  Half the folks that have ebola will think it's the flu until they shit blood and it's too late.  Half the folks with the flu will freak and think it's Ebola and overwhelm the hospitals.  Fun times!

Why would you ever go to the hospital for a Flu? Never understood this logic. Pay someone $500 to send you home with antibiotics and a pat on the back telling you to eat asprin and get more rest. Perfect storm.

It would be a lot cheaper to close our boarders to illegal aliens than risk 10,000 new cases a week with open boarders.

I say we do a hollywood re-boot of 'Escape from New York' called 'Escape from Dallas'. The CDC builds a giant wall around Texas to contain the Ebola outbreak. Meanwhile, the POTUS is flying over Texas in A-F1 on his way to a golf tournament and has to make an emergency landing near Dallas. So the government scrambles resources to find someone to go in and save him before he catches Ebola, except no one wants to go... okay I'm still working on that part...

The fun is watching TOTUS run around Dallas, avoiding Zombies. What's not to like?

Or maybe send in an Ebola survivor to give him a transfusion, and by the end of the show the survivor hates him so much he just kills him anyway.

Okay, here is the truth I take away from this.

They are not telling the truth about it being airborne because they don't know how to pay for proper protection for everyone.

Remeber Fight Club, where the guy is an agent who goes around seeing if cars need to be recalled or not?

They will accept a few deaths because they can afford the insurance payout.

If it will be too expensive, they do the recall.

I suggest that is what is going on here. They can afford level 3 protection and a few deaths. They can't afford level 4.

I admit this is a guess, but this is how it all adds up to me. They are deciding they can do this with a few deaths, still keep it under control and SAVE MONEY.

That is your damn conspiracy.

Oh look, who would have thought... the solution is a federal "task force."  I´m sure these guys are familiar with the infectious disease control facilities, capabilities, and procedures at every hospital in the nation.  They know exactly where and how the medical waste is disposed of.  They know the layout of the hospital, the rooms that have isolation capabilities, how the hospital has currently arranged its patients to cohort for possible contagious diseases, the lab facilities and their capabilities to test for various pathogens, the local infection control staff, the resident MDs and the ER docs who will make the initial diagnosis.

They will fit right in, seemlessly, I am sure with any hospital and its staff anywhere in the country.  I am also sure that they will be able to quickly and efficiently manage a cluster outbreak, cohorting and isolating patients in the facility much quicker and more efficiently than the local staff who have worked there for 20 years or so.  I am also sure that they will be able to provide team round-the-clock care to multiple patients for days or even weeks at a time, maintaining exemplary infection-control procedures as they work out of hotels.

Everyone know what comes after the "task force:" the Ebola Xzar.

Wait a sec...

This outfit is called the Centers for Disease Control?

And they didn't already have an emergency plan ready to go at a moment's notice in anticipation of exactly such an event?

The exponential increase in Obola cases has been going on since last spring, and they are just now getting around to this?

And then there's CDC-approved Ebolas on a plane, with the WHO announcing 10,000 new African cases per day within several months.

The CDC: incompetence and criminality beyond anything ever seen in America.

so when there are 1000 cases of ebola there will be 1000 special forces ebola teams out there? 100000 cases. wtf! are these peopel really that stupid? all ebola patients and all those in contact with them must be isolated immediately. there rae places to isolate a few people but not near enough space to isolate thousands of people. treating these people with less than the proper protocol will only lead to more cases in less and less isolation.

the best solution while the problem is small is to bring the people to one place that is properly equiped with the proper people in one place than increasing the potential for a pandemic by having many cases in many metropolitan areas.

brownie is handling this, isn't he?

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Why not consider restrictions on flights from West Africa.

And how about setting up one central hospital to handle all Ebola cases, rather than having them spread out in different hospitals all over the country? Perhaps Obama could loan out Air Force 1 for flying them in.

This didn't work before . Actually excacerbated the problem .

It works if transit times of suspected infected persons is between 10 and 21 days .

Otherwise it is an incubator .

Maybe when we all hit the liquefication and uncontollable convulsing and smearing stage, we can all gang smear Dimon, Blankfien, Stumpf, and Moynihan with dirrreah, vomit, blood, and assorted other sorts of liquefified body juice

Liquefication, its not just for breakfast anymore !

http://www.subgenius.com/stang/X0011_ebola-_an_unpleasent.html

"Ebola destroys the brain more thoroughly than does Marburg, and Ebola victims often go into epileptic convulsions during the final stage. The convulsions are generalized grand mal seizures -- the whole body twitches and shakes, the arms and legs thrash around, and the eyes, sometimes bloody, roll up into the head. The tremors and convulsions of the patient may smear or splatter blood around. Possibly this epileptic splashing of blood is one of Ebola's strategies for success -- it makes the victim go into a flurry of seizures as he dies, spreading blood all over the place, thus giving the virus a chance to jump to a new host -- a kind of transmission through smearing."

the cdc isn't being stupid - even though it's plan is utterly retarded - it is being wicked. it's swat team idea is smoke and mirrors designed to propagate ebola because their plan is of no effect - nothing more than rearrangement of deck chairs on the titanic.

the cdc has 4-5 patents on ebola, a virus it invented with the help of bill gates, george soros, tulane university, harvard university, and other satan worshipping scum. and of course gates has a patent on a vaccine. dr eric pianka received a standing ovation when he announced the plans to reduce world population by 90% through the use of airborne ebola. the cdc plan does absolutely nothing to stop that.

the plan is to sell vaccines and make money on the death - both coming and going.

and yet the stupidfuck american is going to the rigged diebolt polls in a month to decide between the republican totalitarian and the democrat totalitarian.
