Meet The New Generation Of Futures Traders

Tyler Durden's picture

Confused about futures trading? Uncomfortable with margin-ing, leverage, and just how much money you can make (or lose) trading derivatives? Have no fear, in a little under 55 seconds, these five- and six-year olds succinctly summarize the meaning of money and investing in corn, equity, and cocoa futures...

Forget this week's "20 under 20-year old traders", "Mila Kunis portolio modeling" or "confessions of a teenage trader" and ignore the latest "kittens who can trade better than you" slideshow... here is the real deal...

As Yellen may have been overheard saying back stage at her recent inequality speech: "why don't the poor just trade futures, even these 5- and and 6-year olds get it!!"

While kids in Syria are getting long guns...

He said the children in his camp jogged every day, read the Koran and learned how to use weapons, including Kalashnikovs.

"He is only a child, they might make him a suicide bomber and (convince him) that he will be in paradise and stuff like that," the father said.

Yet, he said, he found it hard to believe the boys comprehended the true implications of what they were being taught.

"They thought war and guns were entertainment," the dad said.

If those kids really understood futures, they would be a lot more pissed at their parents for saddling them with so much financial duress.

They would be swearing like longshoremen.

Parental rights...you know?

At times I think that the Government needs to regulate whom is able to have children...

But then I must slug myself in the face and bash my head onto the Doorjamb and wake myself up to the fact that there needs to be less regulation and not more.

Then I remember the truth about it. THERE ARE NO POLITICAL SOLUTIONS.

Those children are an example of extremely poor child rearing.

Since that is what the feminist movement has devolved into then that needs to be broadcast far and wide. That did not do them any favors but serves to hurt thier cause on all levels. That is the reason that it needs to be broadcast...to demonstrate just how dysfunctional feminism is.

14th Amendment is where your certificate of live birth enters with your mothers signature of abandonment on the bottom. Research Trading with the Enemy, that's you. Your still contracting and doing commerce with a foreign nation daily, why? Because THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,INC. is located on foreign land, what we call the USA, or home to US citizens and your Represenatives on the Hill need you in the usury system because that's who their bosses are, big banks and Corporations.

Their signing your death warrants with China and Russia and everyone in this du jure governance is praying you don't find out the truth that your a commodity and colladeral for their federal debt they incure. The more debt they make, the more US citizens must die so they can collect on your Fidelity mutual bond as a way to recoup their losses.

On average, everyones bond is worth approximately 1.5 million dollars until it terms. So figure out how much public debt we have, then divide it by that number and that's how many their going to kill when they get here.

Your mother released her newborn unwittingly into a foreign nation as to participate in their Commerce and by concent/seal her own bill of laiding into a foreign port, at the dock - tors office at the State Hospital. All Maritime Law.

Get it? Her birth canal broke water and delivered a goods or product to a dock in a foreign port. The Dock - tor legally witnessed her delivery, your port of exit, as you entered into a foreign jurisdiction with UCC Laws.

You all are contracting with a foreign .gov. so your considered a squater on their land.

Your Birth Certificate is now a bond, a financial instrument to be traded publicly until your Corp. expires meaning death.

All crimes are UCC Commercial, they operate du jure under public policy, policy is NOT LAW so wipe your ass with your Constitution [Bill of Rights] and your Declaration of Independence because its just that, they don't recognise the 1776 Constitution, they replaced it with The Act of 1871, so their both toilet paper at this point. Ones in the dust bin and ones re written to become a Corporate charter which has nothing to do with your freedom. It's the exact opposite.

A non codified "Declairation" or announcement voca visa statement made by a, or the public, doesn't have to be recognised as a decree of soverignty on foreign soil, it's quite the opposite, that person making that decree can be arrested because your talking like a foreign invader becoming an enemy of a foreign nation because he is too stupid to research he is a registered slave by his own mother and volentary, your sprawl on their Plantation.

If you think your so free and own all the crap you have registered, try to fight them when they come to seize their property and see what happens.

I can declair in the public square all day that I am a free man and I have God given rights, but that goes counter to what my mother signed over to the state when I was born.

US Citizens must get educated quickly, if not, it may cost you your life and or property. Your squaters on Foreign land. Get over your Star Spangle banner bullshit and recognise your born into a usury system owned by multinational Corporations. its not your fault

becase your parents were equally ignorant of the History of the united states of America.

If we were truely that free on soverign land, we wouldn't need an SS. Secretary of State. You need them domestically to enter the jurisdiction of our US Court system to use Notary signed documents so their recognised by a foreign jurisdiction (the court) on your behalf.

Wake up and become aware. The American dream was just that.

Your contracted with a foreign Multinational Corporation. Maybe this might help?

My main function in life at this point is to tell you over and over and over agaian; that is more than one market. You lost in t he Stock Market? t hey're not t alking aboiut the stock market. The futures market is much better regulated and some of the futures contracts trade very rationally and trend for months; and they produce charts that aren't deceptive. You are the only one to blame for fucking around in the stock market. Open a futures trading acccount and read a couple of books about it. One thing I reccomend is that you have a strategy; which is to detect prices that have finished off the public enthusiasm; sucked in all the buyers, and then short that contract. Don't try to trend follow; discover the trend by accident. If you get in without taking a financial losses type of stop loss; which are necessary; don't have any goal; don't try to figure anything out; as soon as you get some water under your boat put in a zero loss stop order; now you either lose nothing or you make a lot of money. Over a period of months; there's no such thing as day trading.  This is the essence of  the method. Feeder Cattle usually trend for months and months; it's a small market; no big banks are going to fuck around with it; it's seasonal; it makes highs and lows at certain months of the year. It's kind of the kiddys wading pool of futures trading; but you can make a 100% on your account the first year. All your training is a mistake; just forget about it.

Yes, becuase the futures market has nothing to do with hedging. Nothing.

Mon, 11/03/2014 - 16:04 | 5407852 SAT 800
SAT 800's picture

As you may know; it has a lot to do with hedging; but you are not to think about t hat or imagine that you understand it; all you need to do is look at the caily price charts for the markets you have chosen,  and look for signs of a top or a bottom. When Corn went to $9+ a bushel; and this carried over into the Dec. contract that year; I was patient and waited until it was pretty clear that the frenzy had topped out; and the price was unrealistic; very few buyers are going to be interested in $9 corn when it's harvested.  So I put on a short position. The top formation was about done; so the position didn't close out of the money; you have to watch over it for a few days;  within about 15 days; it was reasonable to put on a zero loss stop order; so I did. The price continued to go up and down and have rallies; and various news happened; but I didn't pay any attention. Then it started falling apart; so I put on more positions. The corn contract pays off at $50/ penny on t he price of corn. So if you wait several months and the price drops $1 a bushel you make $5000/ contract.  you don't buy anything; you didn't "buy" the contract; the whole profit just appears in your account. a lot people ask me how much do contracts cost? you don't buy them; you have to have money in your account to satisfy the margin requirement. but you don't buy anything; they're not options; which i don't believe are appropriate for indivdiuals.

I knew a finance grad who traded futures once.

Traded oil futures on margin and put up some family assets to do so.  Ended up getting wiped out along with a large portion of his family's wealth.

Everything looks easy on paper, even to an 8 year old, well the general concept is, the mathematics is a little harder.

Regardless, try turning a consistent profit without being into the grapevine.  Every so often a tiny chink or opportunity, a little window opens up, where information breaks and you can see something coming.  But generally it isn't the case.

I have regarded the metals as impossible to trade for well over a year now; I don't even bother looking at the daily charts. there's a lot of markets out there; they all pay off in dollars. No one who knows anything at all tries to buy Gold or Silver at the Comex; that's just stupid, it's for making money not for buying metal. If you want to buy metal, go to a metal seller. Bullionvault.com  will come up on a google search, and you can read about their business model it's transparent; they sell you silver or gold and it's warehoused in vaults; you can sell lit again on line when you want to; they audit the vaults daily; Americans have millions of dollars worth of Gold and Silver warehoused with them in London and Switzerland.

Mon, 11/03/2014 - 16:13 | 5407917 SAT 800

Your;e comnpletely wrong. there's no mathmatics involved.  It's all a question of the price. I once bought Crude Oil at $11/barrel; this was in about 1999; approximately. Why not? it was obvioiusly crazy, and you could see that the craziness had about exhausted itself. so I took a long position. No Math. It's all about people and how crazy they are; and yes they run scams; but the result of them, if you wait until they're ripe; is just profits for you. so, I'm not complaining. You always trade oiil futures on margin; but the point is to underst and what your mission is; the people who lose are trying to tell the market what to do; or they have something figured out; i have a theory when I enter the market, but I'm ready and willing to be wrong. it's not a rightness conttest; it's a business. You take small losses and big profits.

Mon, 11/03/2014 - 16:20 | 5407949 SAT 800
SAT 800's picture

T he real difference between the 95% of the people who lose money in futures and the 5% who make money every year; is stop losses. If you're not willing to be wrong; then don't even start. Many adult males would rather be dead than wrong; and the market will accomadate you. Be lighthearted about it; you're guessing; it's an informed guess, it's based on a study of past chart performances; but it's a guess. Oh, I fogot the other kind of loser; the one who knows wheree the market is going and where to take profits; you have to have big profits to offset the small losses you will take in defensive stop loss orders on entry. You capture the trend by accident and you just stick with it; for months; not days, and not to some magic number you picked out. Let the market surprise you.

Perhaps the stock market is only "being bought" by/because of the billions of people around the world who are shovelling their paychecks into their online trading/FX/Futures etc. accounts every month hoping for the big one....I've never seen a number put on how much is going in via this route, but practically everyone I know seems to be at it these days...either that, or they're shovelling it at Betfred (Edit: ...and not buying gold/silver any more either!)
