"In most economies a big depreciation boosts demand for local products: as foreign goods get pricier shoppers pick domestic alternatives. But Russia's recent history makes such substitution difficult. The transition from Soviet subsidies to market-based agriculture was not a smooth one: production of beef, pork and poultry in Russia and Ukraine fell from almost 13m tonnes in 1991 to just 5m in 2001."

Call me old fashioned, but these pictures scare me.

You are looking at the competition.

Without a doubt, the next 100 years or longer belong to the Chinese.

Study your Mandarin folks.

With respect to your kids, fuck Spanish. Force them to learn Mandarin.

They will thank you for it as they grow older.

It's funny to hear Americans, with their broken educational system that can't even teach kids to read, bashing China's schools.

Wow! This is really something. What if the weather swings and it starts to rain. It can happen, right? I am just joking.  I can’t say if I like or I don’t, but this is definitely interesting. I guess I would want to see this exam with my own eyes. I wonder of these students also write custom essay same way without computers on open air. No wonder Chinese students show better performance. The discipline is critically strict. I guess this is for the best.
