Do you really think it is easy to buy your way into this country? We kick out PHD students by the thousands. Well off chinese come here to birth anchor babies. Our immigration policies are full tard. We don't let in the rich and smart, but we do let the illegals stay. Somebody with $600,000 would either have to wait in line or sneak across, so yes, a well off person might respond to the ad.

The foreign national (technically a non-resident alien) would only qualify for provisional residency (a temporary green card) through marriage. That changes to permanent residency (permanent green card) after a year, I think.
Citizenship has nothing to do with the marriage. Once a foreign national has obtained legal, permanent residency for a year through any means, they can apply for U.S. citizenship and take the test. They have to have a green card, but citizenship is a different department, different application and different process.
The local Immigration Office and federal prosecutors would undoubtedly keep Gabe's public statement of Intent to Commit Immigration Fraud handy for a quick conviction.

No one is seeking a "solution" that does not benefit them. As a matter of fact the only reason to do anything is self serving. If our government was about real solutions we wouldn't have all the problems today that they were instrumental in creating.
If there were no government, there would be no immigration law for Obama to fuck with.
For that matter, if there were no government, obama would just be another hood rat.
While easing immigration standards is normally one of the building blocks of a free society, clearly it makes no sense in a welfare state. Easing immigration standards right now is about three things:
- priming the growth pump, as immigrants have more kids
- more Democrat sympathizers to farm for votes
- drive a stake further through the heart of the formerly freedom loving culture of the US by pulling in people who are used to living under tyranny and are fine with being only slightly more free

In other words, if faced with a rigged game - might as well use rigged rules to your advantage.
