Last I checked the U.S. helped overthrow Iran's legitimately elected government in the 1950s in order to install a friendly puppet.  The U.S. was lucky the only retribution was that they held hostage a few embassy employees for a year.

Really, that's all it costs to overthrow a government that then keeps power brutally as any installed puppet does?

Can't wait for Israel to bomb the Persians back to the stone age.  LOL....it won't take much.

If the Muzzies want to play with nuclear fire.....I say we give it to them....fast and hard.  Let their false god Allah protect them.  Like he's  been doing a good job for all these years.  LOL !!  'Ol Allah's SOOoooo powerful......that's why the Muzzies have been the ass end of humanity  for 1000+ years.

But it's always someone else's fault .  That's why the Muzzie blows himself up and supports terrirism.  They know in the back of the darkest corners of their mind and hearts that Allah does NOT exist OR he's a clockwork god.....he's not around anymore to help them.  So they have to take matters into their own hands.  Like blowing up innocent people, funding terrorist organizations all over the world.....even beheading children.

I say.....let the fucking Persian rug makers do their thing......and the day they announce they have the bomb.......nuke the facility and nuke Tehran.

And then dare Russia or any other Muzzie nation to do anything about it.

mb they have it and what? lets put sanctions on other nuclear powers... It's fucking stupid to sanction a nuclear power because some crazy guy can actually do something, like USA to Japan. You can deliver nuclear bomb by any ship to any country.

Yeah. But for optimal utilization of the destructive force the bomb needs to be detonated at altitude rather than at the surface.

Futhermore a cluster of smaller warheads of the same equivalent of Megatonnage of TNT as a large warhead may have serves to do even greater damage to a target.

For instance a total 15 MT strike from three 5MT bombs is much more destructive than a strike from one 15MT bomb.

Delivery by ship is ineffective and a waste of effort.

you can dock the ship in Los Angeles port and blow off all city, i don't know why it's "ineffective".

Tue, 11/25/2014 - 17:21 | 5487955 Quantum Nucleonics
Quantum Nucleonics's picture

Assuming a 25kt yield, a ground burst from a ship would destroy the port, but not much else.  An airburst from optimum altitude would doube or triple the radius of effect.  An intelligent terrorist and/or nationstate would likely put said weapon on a truck and move it to a location likely to cause greater casualties, e.g. tall building.  There are places in the Los Angeles basin with three mile radius populations greater than 500K, but the port isn't one of them.  Hopefully, the radiation detectors at the port would catch such a plot.

Tue, 11/25/2014 - 16:59 | 5487834 Quantum Nucleonics
Quantum Nucleonics's picture

That multiple weapons are equivalent to a single larger one isn't entirely correct.  Blast and thermal radiation changes are non-linear with respect to yield.  For your 15MT example, off the top of my head, you'd need 4 or 5 5MT bombs to produce the equivalent damage.  Depending on altitude, as you correctly point out.  A 5MT airburst at optimum altitude would probably do more damage than a 15MT ground burst.

I know it's just an example, but megatons is getting way ahead of where Iran is.  They are almost certainly working off A.Q. Khan's bomb design, which would be 25 kiloton-ish yield from a 25kg HEU physics package.

Thanks for that update from Imaginationland.

In reality, both US and Israeli intelligence concede that there's no evidence of an Iranian nuclear weapon program. And, of course, they've never made or possessed HEU.

Other than that, though, yeah, they're just seven months away from blowing up the entire galaxy.

It is entirely possible that they already have at least one. A simple U235 device doesn't need to be tested. The US didn't test the "Little Boy". And with the computing power available today, even implosion designs might not need to be tested.

Pakistan secretly tested its first bomb at China's Lop Nur facility in 1990. But they didn't publicly test until 1998. And Israel has never publicly tested. So why should Iran test? It's not necessary unless they want to build multistage thermonuclear devices. And testing would increase the international heat on them.

Or the secret underground enrichment facility surrounded by electrified fences?

Wow, that's some big secret, huh? Ever think you should have told the IAEA, the CIA, or the President instead of keeping it to yourself? Don't keep us in suspense - where is it? It can't be Fordow, since Iran notified the IAEA months in advance of their plans for enrichment there.

"President Francois Hollande has decided to suspend delivery of the first Mistral-class ship to Russia "until further notice," citing the situation in Ukraine as the reason, media reported an Elysee Palace statement.

"The President of the Republic believes that the current situation in the east of Ukraine still does not allow the transfer of the first Russian Mistral-type ships to Russia," a statement from the Elysée Palace said.

In this regard, Francois Hollande felt it necessary to postpone the new order to study the request for permission to supply Russia with the first Mistral vessel, the communique informed.

READ MORE: ‘Outraged’ French union urges Hollande to honor Mistral deal, 2,500 jobs at stake

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yury Borisov said it will patiently wait for the fulfillment of the contract, RIA Novosti reports.

However, Russia will act “strictly according to the contract,” and will sue France should the ship not be delivered at all, Borisov warned.

"If [France] won't deliver [Mistral], we’ll sue and impose penalties. The behavior of the Russian side is strictly regulated by the signed contract," he explained, as cited by TASS.

Moscow has previously pledged to make financial claims to France if the first of two Mistral warships is not delivered by the end of November. The warning came from a high-ranking source and was made public earlier this month by RIA Novosti.

"We are preparing for different scenarios. We are waiting until the end of the month [the fulfillment of Mistral deal], then we will make serious claims," the source said on condition of anonymity.

READ MORE: Moscow to seek damages if Mistral ship not delivered by end Nov - source

France already missed a mid-November deadline for handing over the first of the amphibious assault ships to Russia.

On November 16, one of the France’s biggest union federations, Workers’ Force, called on Paris to fulfill the Mistral deal and deliver the two warships to Russia, otherwise 2,500 shipyard employees may lose their jobs.

Le Figaro reported that the union expressed "shock and outrage" after Paris put off the delivery due to pressure from the US and EU, which imposed several waves of sanctions against Moscow after Crimea joined Russia amid the Ukraine crisis."

Their nuclear scientists keep having strange, unfortunate accidents - like being shot.

Although Israel has never acknowledged it, the country's famed espionage agency - the Mossad - ran an assassination campaign for several years aimed at Iran's top nuclear scientists. The purpose was to slow the progress made by Iran, which Israel feels certain is aimed at developing nuclear weapons; and to deter trained and educated Iranians from joining their country's nuclear program.

Weekend Tyler must have been brought in today with instructions to cover for them until Sunday and keep the office plants watered. The clearest indicator of this is that today we were treated to an Iranian Nookular Scare and a USPS Smear Job. You don't usually see both in the same day.

A smart high-school student can build a bomb, simply combine two sub-critical masses of U together with explosive force. Does not even take much explosive force in my understanding. Hell you used to be able to find this info on the internet before the patriot act.

Problem is getting enough fuel for bombs, you have to filter literally TONS of regular U for the good stuff. Since the "Good stuff" is so hard to optain, the goal is to build very advanced weapons, much more advanced then just slamming two sub-critical masses together, which gives a low-yeild. In the advanced wepons the sub-critical masses are combined in such a way where most of the fissionable material is expended during the explosion.

I had a very cool high school science teacher.

What's the point of having Nukes anyway?  You can't actually use them, at least not against another country that has them.

I mean, name one country that has ever used nukes.

And you certainly couldn't use the largest Christian church in Asia to target such a weapon either.

"And by 1917, with no help from the government, the growing Japanese Christian community had built the massive Urakami Cathedral, in the Urakami River district of Nagasaki.

Now it turned out, in the mystery of good and evil, that the massive cathedral was one of two Nagasaki landmarks that the Bock’s Car bombardier had been briefed on, and looking through his bomb site 31,000 feet overhead, he identified the cathedral through a break in the clouds and ordered the drop."

For the record they did not invent the nukes. Most of the nuke work and design was done by others.  But you know how they like  to take credit for everything and have the media to push that message across.

Now that its gone mainstream (de-dollarization), this BS about Iran and the danger it will have nukes is an insult to ones intelligence. Israel is 10x more dangerous than Iran and they have loads of nukes. The Zionist hive has numerous insane/psychopaths and no one seems to care much about them!

Seven more months to figure out how to tell the Israelis that Iran is our new girlfriend, while it's seven months for congress to "do nothing about it" since there's seven months that the Israel Lobby will have nothing to whine about to their paid-for-congress, since nothing will be moving in the meantime!

...and some say Obama is clueless and doesn't have a strategy.

Israel’s First US Espionage and Smuggling Network:

Newly declassified postwar Naval Intelligence files shine new light on a little-known chapter of U.S.-Israel relations. Massive supplies of American WWII military surplus under liquidation by the War Assets Administration were an irresistible target for Israel’s government-in-waiting the Jewish Agency and nascent military the Haganah in the years immediately preceding Israel’s declaration of statehood in 1948. The Jewish Agency was an organization contemplated as a vital actor for achieving that statehood in Theodore Herzl’s original Zionist vision. Explosives, advanced fighter, bomber and transport aircraft, and Jewish veterans culled from a list stolen from the U.S. Chaplain all entered a Jewish Agency pipeline stretching from the US to Mexico, Panama, Italy and Czechoslovakia to Palestine. The stories these newly declassified files tell not only foreshadow the institutionalized immunity of crimes committed in the name of Israel, but major challenges the US would later have to confront beyond displaced Palestinian refugees and simmering conflict – ongoing money laundering into US politics and Israel’s early desire to build nuclear weapons.

Nuclear Espionage Allegations Intensify Battle for Israel’s Technion Nuke File

Israel’s oldest university – Technion – is under an intensifying legal spotlight over stunning new allegations of espionage and a transparency-law fight to reveal its clandestine role in nuclear weapons development. According to information made public in a civil harassment suit filed on November 13, 2014 in the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles an Israeli scientist transferred information to Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in violation of the Arms Export Control Act from the Jet Propulsion Lab at the University of California Los Angeles....

According to researchers, US intelligence officials and congressional sources, Israel has been caught carrying out aggressive espionage operations against American targets for decades. Newsweek reported on May 7, 2014 that “American counter-intelligence officials told members of the House Judiciary and Foreign Affairs committees at the end of January [2014] that Israel’s current espionage activities in America are ‘unrivaled and unseemly,’ going far beyond the activities of other close allies, such as Germany, France, the U.K. and Japan.”

ISRAEL [AND ITS SAYANIM] IS A LARGER DANGER TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, BY ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE, THAN IS IRAN, WHICH PROBABLY IS NOT WORKING ON A NUKE NOW, JUST AS THEY WEREN'T THE LAST DOZEN TIMES THE ZIONIST LOBBY AND ISRAEL MADE THESE CLAIMS.

The Israelis set up the Numec plant in Pennsylvania specifically to create nuclear materials for illegal export to Israel. The owner was named Shapiro and his handler also worked with Jonathan Pollard. Today the plant (a few miles from my home) is a nuclear waste site so contaminated that DHS guards watch in 24/7.

Keep fighting slowly the blinders are comming off.

Solving 9-11 - Christopher Bollyn

predictable ADL post on Bollyn conflating belief that Israel's government was involved [with our own] in 9/11 with "hating Jews" with some interesting comments:

Anti-Semite Christopher Bollyn Scheduled to Attend 9-11 ...

Note that in essence, anti-semitism is repeatedly, in essence, defined by Israeli apologists as ever criticizing {or suspecting} Israel the nation state.  and of course, you can question ANYTHING in histor yEXCEPT the "6 million figure" - dead Russians, dead Armenians, dead Irish, dead Indians - debte away, but it is "hate" to question Jewish sacred victim digits.    {no, I don't myself 'deny' hat shit, just think it absurd to make it illegal, which certainly makes it look like Jews get special legal treatment and that there might be something to hide}

To their credit,t he ADL left up the comments - probably thinking that its all evidence of rampant "anti-semitism"  - and not recognizing the cogent, coherent points for the challenge to Zio-orthodoxy which they in fact are.

I hope Russia supplies Iran with several nuclear weapons- for defence !

Why should Israel have Nuclear Weapons (many) while every one politely disregards that reality ? Fuck the Jewish leaders - they are obviously pond scum & have no intention of treating any neighbours decently. Scum !

Oh & fuck the USA leadership for backing them up & speaking garbage about negotiating peace deals etc. Triple scum !
