The people who are outraged are racialists, meaning they view everything through a racial (and racist) lens. This case is very simple for them.
Michael Brown was black and was shot and killed by Darren Wilson who is white. Unless whites admit they are privledged and owe everything they have to the unfair oppression of blacks, and go around acting like they owe blacks everything, and vote Democrat, they must be a racist. Darren Wilsonn needs to pay for what he did since he is a white racist.
Any other facts or circumstances surrounding the shooting and killing are irrelevant to these people. Any mitigating factors or circumsmtances that might justify what Darren Wilson did are discounted as lies or simply dismissed. Michael Brown himself is in no way responsible for his own actions, and can be nothing other than the victim.
There is really no room for debating with the racialists who hold these views. They hold unfounded beliefs that can't be shaken by any number of facts or arguments, and it's a waste of time to talk to them.
If the logic behind the white privilige argument was applied to other groups would any group stand out as being particularly priviliged?

I know that saying anything positive about blacks on this web site is a sure way to get flamed and, down arrowed so I will try to avoid doing that. However I would like to point out that when the cop and, this kid where standing 50', 70', 123' or whatever apart from each other and, the kid was unarmed and, the cop was looking down the barrel that the threat to the cop was what ? At that point who was truely at risk of loosing their life? If I did what that cop did what would the law say about that? Self defense? Yes, yes, during the struggle for the gun shoot the kid between the eyes for all I care but, where should deadly force end? This kid and I are too much alike. When I was his age I was nothing but trouble. I grew out of it. Guess I am lucky I am white and, grew up in Miami and, not in ferguson.
Whether thugcops brutality should be ended is a different conversation from whether negros should be committing random acts of mob lawlessness. There was an infant whose face was torn apart by a thugcop's stun grenade in GA. No riots, no lawlessness.
Also in Georgia, there was a retired man who was shot in my home after dark by a thugcop serving a knock search warrant. No riot, no lawlessness. In both these instances, the victims were white. The infant did nothing wrong. Nor did the man inside his house. There is right way to protest cop thuggery and effect change. This includes confrontational protest.
