ECB Keeps Rates Unchanged, As Expected
No surprises in the official ECB statement...
At today’s meeting the Governing Council of the ECB decided that the interest rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rates on the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility will remain unchanged at 0.05%, 0.30% and -0.20% respectively.
The President of the ECB will comment on the considerations underlying these decisions at a press conference starting at 2.30 p.m. CET today.
... However, the same will hardly be said about Draghi's presser in 45 minutes.

Now lets see where they planned to rig the Euro to today. My guess is teh exchange rate will be placed up, simply becasue it has been down.
Nothing to see here, you can go about your business.
Aww so it won't go to -0.3%? But but I thought we were on the same circus ride here....maybe at the next meeting then.
Deflation is no laughing matter kiddies.
Drag it out Draghi. Hope he's building himself a rat hole to hide somewhere.
same in eu same in us, banks and big lenders get money for zirp and us common folk who have savings get less than zirp interest..to wit..
why in america do ccard co's get 18% on money while I get .01%?? car loans, home loans, none near 0.01% seems some people's money is better than us common folk..anybody in DC seeing this and asking why are savers getting the rates we do? no ,no one in power wants to ask that question.
I keep hearing how Europe needs financial stimulus but is there some widespread depression going on over there? The MSM keeps saying that everything is fine.
Does anybody has the press statement? link?
thanks
NIRP, ZIRP as always.
