The vast majority of black people I know are hard workers. Those companies I listed employed nearly 70,000 people where I live at one point. And those jobs paid very good money and employed a lot of black folks and white folks.

Chicago, Philly, you name it, when those places went over seas it started going downhill badly. I'd say the bigger issue for most folks is one of practicality. If you run into trouble in these areas, then it's because you've probably been lost for tens of miles and are actually looking to win a darwin award. Whereas, in many cities (memphis comes to mind) the patchwork of "good" and "bad" neighborhoods is sometimes impossible for even the most steadfast to safely traverse. One block away and you can be in another world...

Most of, no, ALL the black people I know have jobs. I like every one of them. I only deal with blacks at work, and don't live in the ghetto. So trulz, I suspect that's true for most of white America. The problem is predominately the blacks who don't work, they are the ones with long rap sheets being justifiably killed in the streets by cops, but mostly by other blacks in drug wars, turf wars, bitch wars, and diss wars. I think that racism is one of the most misunderstood social topics out there. And, BTW, it's not the color of one's skin that causes your average person to hate one group or like another. It's the culture associated with that group. Various subcultures have popped up around various hues of skin. Until we can have conversations where this is understood, race tensions will be full retard.
I used to play a game with people about prejudice and racism to prove they were prejudice. They would hem and haw that they weren't prejudice. I would show them that they were.

It works far more often than not for me, and when it doesn't, well, that's what the Springfield XD on my hip is for.
Having prejudices and making generalizations about folks is part of the human condition that is natural and unavoidable - this behavior can be taken way too far however.
The main thing is understanding where you fit on the spectrum and making an effort not making others suffer for potentially inccorect presumptions e.g. walk the line between watching your back, but also giving folks the chance to demonstrate that they don't fit your stereotypes.

In practice... the reality is that the majority of people from other lands, cultures and races do NOT share your views or sentiment. I have a friend who is a beat cop. She pulled a car over that had a broken taillight. As she was approaching the car a big black man came out and yelled at her " You pulled me over because I am black!" She replied. " No, I pulled you over because you are Jewish!" They both ended up laughing and she explained what the problem. She didn't give him a ticket and they went their separate ways peacefully.
To me, that was the best way I have seen to diffuse racial tension. Especially in an event that could have gone horribly wrong.

Pre-judice (pre-judgement) is an innate element of us as a species. We really ARE hard-wired to pre-judge situations / information, and we can trace this back to those bygone ages when failure to pre-judge a situation correctly usually meant death.
So we're all prejudiced. If we weren't, we'd be extinct. Simple as that.
I think most people are pretty good at detecting accents over the telephone. I believe I can always detect an "Afro American accent". And, whenever I am calling a government office or insurance office and need help, I breathe a sign of relief as soon as I detect that accent. I don't know why, but I can't think of a single time those people have gone officious on me. Rather, my memory is that, every time, they always go overboard to try to help me.
Allow me to share an anecdotal story from a relative in Europe...
My relative's husband works for the Ministry of Defense in one of those smaller EU countries and is assigned to their NATO group in Brussels. When she visited him and they went about shopping, she could not help but have a reflex-antipathy to the non-European people who were virtually everywhere.
Even though he was off duty, he noticed this from her body language and facial expression. He told her to hide her antipathy. She said that she can't help it, and just can't fake it. He said he agreed, but had to fake it. She then made some disparaging comments about these non-European people to him, and he told her to pipe it down, lest they be overheard. She retorted that this was highly unlikely, given the relative obscurity of the language and dialect she was using. He was so paranoid, that he suggested that even this might be possible, and it's best if they spoke in more PC terms and spoke more quietly.
The point is... If you have military guys being such kowtowing pussies, just to manage their gravy train careers, then how can you expect politicians or executives to be much different?
EU media and politicians have been so compromised, that I see NO chance of a color revolution any time soon. I don't even see wide-scale mass protests happening regarding the US-Russia political conflict, nor any signs of massive anti-Americanism. The combined effects cowardice and fear seems palpable in the US-dominated West. This is reminiscent of Germany in 1936-39, but on an EU-wide scale.

I grew up with the counterculture of the 1960's, and I watched it all unfold.
The original anti-establishment "Hippies" were well read and politically aware. They wore long hair, ragged blue jeans with peace sign patches, love beads, sandals, etc. There weren't very many of them, but they were vocal and visible and sometimes they blew shit up. They scared the shit out of the establishment crowd at first. But not for long.
Soon the guys on Madison Avenue realized this dangerous and rebellious youth trend could be made into a highly lucrative market. They started selling mass-produced ragged blue jeans, sandals, peace signs, love beads, tie-dyed shirts, etc., in department stores. It culminated with Jim Morrison hawking cars for General Motors. The "revolution" was usurped and commercialized.
Same thing going on with baggy pants, hoodies, gold teeth, tattoos, etc. today. 98% of the kids wearing that garb aren't the anti-social violent scary youths you think they are. They're just a bunch of young adults trying to fit in, falling for the latest trendy merchandized look. Just counter culture wannabes.

It's not alway easy, but I find that every time I give respect, I get respect. Every time. So I start by saying, "sir" to any man, or "miss" or "ma'am" to any woman. This seems to be a sort of universal language. I believe Disraeli said, "every man can be gained with some sort of flattery". Just saying "sir" must be flattery, I guess, in that it says to the person I am addressing, "One look at you tells me that you have the intelligence, ability, and attitude that a person would need to help me with this".
Multiculturalism is actually an inherently less stable society. This truth is suppressed because we have to pretend we can all just get along. People self-segregate because human nature tells us to trust the people who are most like us. And why shouldn't it? How can anyone expect to be fully understood by someone who has clearly had a vastly different experience than you? We congregate with like people because we want to be understood by the people around us. This has always been the safest possible survival mechanism, to find people of like mind to avoid the unpleasant and sometimes life-threatening misunderstandings.
Which is exactly the reason that the elite push the meme of "diversity." All stable societies are unwanted competition to the unbridled power of the state.

The best book on this subject is Naill Ferguson's, "The War of the World". I highly recommend it. Ferguson puts forth probably his most well reasoned argument that the twentieth century was as bloody as it was because ethnically homogenous "nations" were created out of the disintigrating remains of the several european empires that were destroyed by WWI.

I'm not worried about racial tensions where I am. Where I live, it's either whites, indians, or some of the old hispanic families who have been here since before it was part of the US and before Mexico was even a country. They're different from what just about everybody in the US is used to. Zombies wanting food is what worries me. Black, white, red or brown won't matter too much here, except for the gangbangers. They'll give a shit about it, but they won't last a month if food gets shut off.
