Russia Warns May Send Troops To Ukraine After Congress Unanimously Votes To Give Lethal Aid To Kiev

Tyler Durden's picture

While the market, and America's media, was focusing over the passage of the Cromnibus, and whether Wall Street would dump a few hundred trillion in derivatives on the laps of US taxpayers once again (it did), quietly and unanimously both houses passed The Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014, which authorizes "providing lethal assistance to Ukraine’s military" as well as sweeping sanctions on Russia’s energy sector.

The measure mandates sanctions against Rosoboronexport, the state agency that promotes Russia’s defense exports and arms trade. It also would require sanctions on OAO Gazprom (GAZP), the world’s largest extractor of natural gas, if the state-controlled company withholds supplies to other European nations (yes, the US is now in the pre-emptive punishment business, and is enforcing sanctions on a "what if" basis).

But while one may debate if additional sanctions will do much to impact a Russian economy which is already impaired due to the plunging ruble, the clear escalation is that unlike previously, when the US limited itself - at least on paper - to non-lethal assistance to the Ukraine, now the US is finally preparing to send in weapons, and potentially "military advisors" as well. We say "on paper", because in late November hacked US documents revealed the extent of secret US "Lethal Aid" for the Ukraine army. And since America's under-the-table support for Ukraine's insolvent armed forces has been revealed, there is little point in pretending to keep a moral upper hand (especially in light of recent "other" revelations involving the US, most notably its intelligence services).

And as has happened for the entire duration of the second Cold War, any action by the US was promptly met with a just as provocative reaction by Russia. In this case, a leftist member of the Russian Duma said the US Senate’s decision to arm the Kiev regime should prompt ‘adequate measures’ from Russia, such as deploying military force on Ukrainian territory before the threat becomes too high.

In other words, in addition to the global energy meltdown which is about to send oil exporting nations into a state of shock matched only by owners of US High Yield energy bonds, the Ukraine conflict, which the algos and carbon-based Portfolio Manager forgot about, is about to re-escalate, with Russia now set to recreate the Crimea annexation after it officially sends its troops on Ukraine soil.

From RT:

“The decision of the US Senate is extremely dangerous. If it is supported by the House of Representatives and signed by their president, Russia must reply with adequate measures,” Mikhail Yemelyanov of the Fair Russia party told reporters on Friday.

It is quite possible that we should return to the decision by our Upper House and give the Russian president an opportunity to use military force on Ukrainian territory preemptively. We should not wait until Ukraine is armed and becomes really dangerous,” the lawmaker stated.

Yemelyanov also noted that in his opinion the US Senate’s decision to arm Ukraine had revealed that Washington wasn’t interested in the de-escalation of the Ukrainian conflict. He then said that US actions gave him the impression they was seeking to turn Ukraine into some sort of an “international militant targeting the Russian Federation.”

“In a few years Ukraine will turn into a poor and hungry country with an anti-Russian government that will teach its population to hate Russia. They will be armed to the teeth and Ukraine and US reluctance to recognize the Russian Federation within its current borders would always provoke conflicts,” the MP said.

So does this mean that what was a lingering proxy cold civil war in east Ukraine between NATO-armed Ukraine troops and Russia-armed Separatists and local militias is about to escalate into a shooting precursor to something greater? There is still hope an all out escalation can be avoided. From Bloomberg:

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said today that the administration hadn’t finished reviewing the language and isn’t ready to take a position on the legislation. He said the administration wants to ensure that the U.S. and its European allies are working together, that any sanctions are effective and that they minimize harm to U.S. and European companies.

“This is delicate work,” Earnest said.

Did we say "there is hope"? Never mind.

The good news is that preparations for yet another world war are taking place, the US will "prove" it has the moral superiority by offsetting Russian propaganda.... with its own propaganda!

From the last line of the Ukraine Freedom Support Act:

"Directs the Chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors to submit to Congress a plan for increasing the quantity of Russian-language broadcasting into the countries of the former Soviet Union in order to counter Russian Federation propaganda. Requires such plan to prioritize broadcasting into Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova by the Voice of America (VOA) and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty."

Which can only mean one thing: the US is about to flood the airwaves east of the Dnieper river with reruns of Rocky 4 all over again.

"... any action by the US was promptly met with a just as provocative reaction by Russia. In this case, a leftist member of the Russian Duma said the US Senate’s decision to arm the Kiev regime should prompt ‘adequate measures’ from Russia, ..."

This is the kernel of Tyler's post, and it falls short of his usual standards.

First, Tyler uncharacteristically buys into one of the main tools of MSM propaganda, excusing "our" side by claiming without evidence that the other side is the same or equivalent. In fact the contenders are asymmetrical in many ways, and Russia's responses so far have fallen very far from the "provocative" standard readers of ZH seem to want to hold them to.  Russia's response has thus far been very restrained, some Russians would even say dangerously so - even to the point of holding the rebels back and forcing them into a truce with the Nazis after the Ukraine military fled the strategic port city Mariuopol in a panic and the rebels had it in their grasp.

Second, some rash statements by a "leftist Duma member" prove nothing about Putin's strategy, thinking or intentions.  It is useful to know that much of the Russian public is growing impatient with Putin's caution, but Putin is not stupid or reckless and is not about to get pushed into stepping into the trap that the American-led Nazis have set for him.

For a much more authoratative look at Russian global strategy - and the key element of the Putin Administration's growing struggle with the Russian Central Bank - you might want to review this by Putin advisor and economist Sergey Glazov from July, also reported in ZH:

http://sputniknews.com/voiceofrussia/2014_06_18/Putins-aide-proposes-ant...

Since then, Russia's moves in Ukraine have been fully consistent with this strategic vision.

While it appears that Mderkel's Germany has now fully thrown its lot in with the AngloAmerican Empire in preparing to force Russia into a war with Ukraine, and to some appearances Putin appears to be losing hope, the struggle inside Germany and throughout Europe, which Putin is playing to, is gathering strength, as witnessed by this article in Vineyard of the Sakar a few days ago

http://vineyardsaker.blogspot.com/2014/12/prominent-german-signatories-o...

Moreover reports of partisan attacks against the Ukie Nazis in Kiev, Kirkov, Mariuopol and throughout Ukraine are growing more frequent as the Ukraine economy goes into total collapse, lending plausibility to Putin's strategy of helping the Ukraine people deal with their Nazi "government" themselves.

From this angle, moving US and German troops into Ukraine, seems unlikely due to its evident stupidity. Unless they could force a direct war with Russia, it would be like a fist in the Tar Baby, snarling up the NATO war machine in a conflict they can't win and providing a clear focus for the anti-Empire public throughout Europe to organize around.

Much more to be said, but just let's not get carried away by statements by some "leftist Dumas member".

No way Germany will send troops to the Ukraine.   Anyone who has a kid in t he military in the US needs to get them out of the military or prepare for your kid to be killed.

The others thing in Europe is many Europeands and big European businesses are holding out hope that South Stream is not dead especially German businesses.  The Germans need to vote Merkel out.   German big business has a lot of pwoer in Germany.  The question is do they have as much power as the USA in dictating what Germany does.

The immediate core of the Obama problem in Ukraine is Merkel - she has always been  a USA Agent - no more no less - the Industrialists and Unions want her out - have less than 18 months left - once done  - Germany will head the other way - so US must act now

Germany is the pivot - all Europe knows once she is out - they are out from this SHIT SHOW as well

which is why Obama is now accelerating  - but the people in Ukraine know their fate is worse with the west now - no pension, no heat, no jobs, endless war - they will head south and east - the US has the Fascists - Asov Battallion nothing else - they will be wiped out in next chess move  - 7-15,000  - off the air - and the Ukraine military left intact so the Generals can take back Kiev.

Nulandistan and the Kagans no more - Zbig and his Fascist kids back to the drawing board.

Brother - I hope you are correct.  Do the Germans have any other elections in the near future?  I know there was a local election recently and a leftist party won big.   Hopefully a few more will occur soon so the CDU gets the message to dump her soon.  If her party starts losing badly, will she have to call for elections sooner?

Congress and Obama have sold out all Americans.   The amnesty votes show they are as bad as the criminals running the Ukraine.

Hang on to your hats. Today Ukraine announced the closure of airspace and several airports in major Ukrainian cities like Karkov, near the battle front of the civil war. It is believed that an Amercan airlift of large cargo planes is on it's way to three major airports where landings may already have happened. This appears to be the first of a series of arms airlifts right to the frontdoor of the battle fronts. America will deliever arms and perhaps even military advisers to Ukraine's front line troops.

I twittered the commander of the DPR military command and asked if he knew this. Whoever runs this man's twitter account replied quickly that they knew all about this, that is was unacceptable and was "a total game changer".  This rebel commander's twitter feed now says the same thing as he replied to me.

Russian intelligence knows all about this of course, that is why the warning. Congress is going to push this all the way. Please be ready for it, because they will push this to war, and when the rebels say this is a "total game changer" that means they will ask Russia for the big guns! Russia provides old outdated weapons from the 1970's this is waht the rebels must fight with. I suspect the "real stuff" will now POUR into the DPR and LPR.

Congress just jumped the shark. Is East Ukraine worth World War Three" It is populated with Russians, and American's don't even know where it is. Yet COngress is pushing for a war, and this ain't Iraq. Russia is not Iraq! If congress thinks they can bully Russia into a surrender of 8 million Russians who live in Donbass, they are so fucking wrong it isn't funny at all.

By the way, since when is East Ukraine an American vital natioanl interest? For fuck's sake, nobody cared about it 12 months ago, now they are ready for a war over it?

A friend of a friend who just returned from Iraq reported seeing hundreds of russian-made planes with no colors arriving daily at an Iraqi airport, cargoes of (US made) armaments being unloaded by ISIS, and flying out loaded with ISIS oil sold for $8 a barrel.  He did not know where these planes were coming from or going but this movement could have easily been stopped by the US, and hasn't been. I didn't hear which airport it was, but my friend is highly credible and considered this report credible.

As far as American advisors providing military "expertise" to the sad sack Ukes, these brain farts are part of the same "mighty" LGBT-infested military that just got its azz handed to it by Afghan Muzzies using 30 year-old rebuilt AK47's and IED's made out of used cell phone parts.  Hell, for that matter, the smack-talking USA military has had its azz repeatedly kicked all over the planet by Third World armies since WW2, even with its overwhelming advantage in weaponry and resources.  Although I must admit that Ronny Raygun's war against mighty Grenada was a pretty convincing victory.

A lot of the kids in the Ukrainian army are conscripts.  They don't want to be there.  They are drafted by force and threat. They are lied to that it is just some guard job and they are rushed to the front.   They have no training, defective equipment and if they surrender - their own artillerry will try to kill them.

I pray that more and more Ukrianian men will quit this war or go to Kiev and get the oligarchs.

Jack, I believe this may be the "primary" answer to your question. By the way, Thx for the Intel.

From Wiki:

In foreign policy, the neoconservatives' main concern is to prevent the development of a new rival. Defense Planning Guidance, a document prepared during 1992 by Under Secretary for Defense for Policy Paul Wolfowitz, is regarded by Distinguished Professor of the Humanities John McGowan at the University of North Carolina as the "quintessential statement of neoconservative thought". The report says:[68]

"Our first objective is to prevent the re-emergence of a new rival, either on the territory of the former Soviet Union or elsewhere, that poses a threat on the order of that posed formerly by the Soviet Union. This is a dominant consideration underlying the new regional defense strategy and requires that we endeavor to prevent any hostile power from dominating a region whose resources would, under consolidated control, be sufficient to generate global power."

Kicking the Russians when they are down is not a wise foreign policy. The Saudis are screwing over many economies that have budgeted for a certain minimum return on their commodities exported. Some US pension funds are going to get reamed royally for their high risk investments in North Dakota.

One of the interesting dimensions to this is that North Dakota has its own state bank, one of few states to do this.Punish the people who behaved responsibly during the GFC,and reward all the slimeballs who should be doing long federal stretches for fraud?  Where's Matt Taibbi and Liz Warren when ya need them.....

You mean... like there was a "Gentleman's agreement" between US leaders (Reagan, Bush) and Russia that NATO would never expand into former USSR satellites?

And a "Gentleman's agreement" between various US Presidents and the many Indian Chiefs, that White Man would not take more Indian land?

See, the thing is, if you're not a Member in the same Gentlemen's Club, such Agreements mean little or nothing at all. Nobody reads the fine print, it seems.

This report is direct from rebel sources inside Kiev occupied Donbass cities. Apparently American planes are on the ground unloading now. This is why all airspace in teh area was closed and three airports closed. Ukraine officially told airline passanger to cancel all plans to fly in these areas and cities, and check back in a few days for alternative flights. After the US airlift is finished. Russia is going to go off the fucking rails just about now, as it is morning in Moscow right now!

"Right now at Zaporozhye airport they are unloading two transport planes from USA. Cargo is in boxes. According to additional information two more planes are expected to arrive."

Looks like C-130s atm. Possibly 4 airports closed now, roughly in a straight line up the country about 50 miles west of the ceasefire line.

Lots of security in the area. No photo evidence is expected. This is a clandestine pre-empt Obama airlift.

Can't see an Israeli Damascus like airstrike coming tho'.

President Putin explains himself and Russia pretty well in this ARD interview. He speaks of old school democracy and the right to self determination. He speaks of Kosovo where the legislature voted their independence without a plebiscite as Crimea did, yet it was accepted by the u.s and europe whereas Crimea wasn't. Even though Crimea has been part of Russia longer than the u.s has existed.  He is a straight shooter and unlike Obomber doesn't shell out multiple indeterminant answers that usually turn out as BS. The man has more common sense than all the leaders of the western block nations combined. In fact, living the militarization of american police, the unlimited spying, the complete evisceration of the constitution and the principles as set in the Declaration of Independence I would title him today as the leader of the free'er world.

Amazingly enough, no teleprompters, or other apparatus to assist.

The idea of America getting involved or jumping into a war in Ukraine would have been hard to imagine a few years ago. The potential for this to escalate into a major "shooting war" is real. Allowing events to deteriorate into a major war or possibly into what some see as World War III is becoming a reality.

As insane as it appears this could become the final outcome. The location of this as a military confrontation is right in Putin's backyard and this is a strong advantage for Russia. It is silly to think Putin and Russia will back down. This means poking the bear is not a smart move. More on this subject in the article below.

Vladdy-Poot isn't going to be suckered into playing the U.S. game in Ukraine on the U.S.'s terms. He'll stay on the offensive, he won't let this latest development regarding lethal weapons for Ukraine put him on the defensive.

Russian intel has known all along about secret U.S. and European lethal weapons flowing into Ukraine. So they have had time to formulate a response that costs them little, but costs Ukraine and the U.S. much.

Rather than openly sending troops into Ukraine, Russia is much more likely to use multiple strategies and tactics ranging from enhancement of opposition to the Kiev govt (aimed at throwing a counter-revolution into Kiev's lap), to greater economic pressure to collapse the Kiev govt, all the way to special ops to destroy the cargoes of incoming weapons shipments after they are unloaded from the planes.

Openly sending troops is the last and most unlikely resort. Putin will keep denying a smoking gun to his U.S. adversaries. The U.S. is trying to goad Putin into an outright, open invasion so they can further demonize him and crank up global opposition to him.

Putin will keep playing it smart by working the stealthy levers and will outsmart the U.S. by keeping it on the defensive, where Putin can play it like a fiddle.

The ZOG machine is a big one.  Media, Military and finance.  This will be a critical fight.  The Zog has taken everything from the West with no resistance from the populace.  Let's look at the following quote:

"The few who understand the system, will either be so interested in its profits, or so dependent on its favors, that there will be no opposition from that class. The great body of people, mentally incapable of comprehending the tremendous advantages, will bear its burden without complaint."

- Lord Rothschild, European central banker

Are the Russians ready to put up a fight to remain free or join the debt serfdom like the rest of us?  Our politicians gave Wall St the blank checkbook they asked for in the spending bill last Thursday.  Now, they want the same from the East.

Has America given up the bases on Okinawa,or Diego Garcia? How's about Bagram?  The Russians will not give up the Crimea.Period.Therefore they need a stable landbridge to the seaport.Russia will not, ever, surrender a warm water port.Pick up a history book. Most American still think the Vietnam war was about democracy or something. The important issue was Cam Ran bay,the only deepwater port in the area.

The Americans were somewhat surprised when the Kamikaze pilots started flying into and sinking U S ships during the battle in the Pacific. The Japanese consider Okinawa part of their homeland.Asking any Professor would've gotten the same response.

The Chinese told the US that advancing to the Yalu would be a mistake.Big Mac didn't think they would attack.Thought the fear of Nukes would bluff them. Putin has told us to stay out of this one.I agree.I don't believe he is bluffing. The Ukies can't or won't fight effectively, and have incompetent leadership. The only effective force is mercenaries paid for by their stolen gold reserves.I have difficulty seeing how Obama will motivate the US mothers to send their sons (and daughters) to fight and die for this cause.A political settlement is required.

Many years ago a French leader (Pierre Mendes-France) shocked his colleagues by taking an oath "to go to Geneva and come back with a peace agreement for Indochina in 30 days or resign. But before he resigned he would introduce a bill for conscription in France and force them to vote on it." Russia was pulled into the First and the Second world wars by hook and by crook against its best judgment. The same was with Afghanistan after the Afghan government invited the Soviet troops to help to fight with the Wahabies invasion.

Putin won't allow to drag Russia into this war with the NATO-EU occupied Ukraine.  Putin said many times that Russia won't get militarily involved. I believe that as long as he is the head of the Russian state, Russia won't get militarily involved in any conflict beyond its borders.

I have doubts about the real motives behind this member of the Russian parliament opinion.

Given what I have said you have make a choice just as we do.  It is our American problem too.  The real issue is the central bankers.  I am not against Russians but I did accumulate a lot of your stuff up to and including a Russian female.  I do love Russians because I have seen them be awfully good folks.  But why in the fuck would you let me do what I did?  I really have no idea how ammunition I have.  I know that I have a great deal of it and  great dal of guns can shoot it.  My Russian woman is a woman who can do whatever she wants to do.  I taught her how to be free and how to drive.  She can do whatever she wants to do when she wants to do so.  I bought her her own vehicle.

Don't get lippy with me you Russians.  You are on thin ice for a for a full frontal assualt.  And you really can't really work around the backside because I have knocked two kids out of her so it's over.  I won that part.  But that does not mean I think is over.  I think a great many ZHers do like Russians and I would be one of them but there is no free pass here.  We know who the crooks are, do you?  I think you do.

See, I can't lie very well.  So I do not not lie.  No one ever said that I was the nicest guy in the room because I am not.  I never said I was the best guy in the world.  I will never lie to you though.

Sweden's Minister for Defence has confirmed that a military aircraft that almost collided with a passenger plane on Friday close to Swedish airspace was indeed from Russia.

The passenger plane nearly crashed into a foreign military aircraft after military air traffic control reported an "invisible" plane was circulating in the area.    "It's about a Russian military jet. We have identified it via Swedish combat pilots. There are no doubts about what kind of government aircraft it was," Defence Minister Peter Hultqvist told the TT news agency.   He added; "This is serious. It's inappropriate. It's downright dangerous."    Initial reports stated that the incident took place in the Swedish airspace but Hultqvist claimed this was not the case    "It was over international airspace. There has definitely not been a violation," added Hultqvist.    Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter (DN) reported on Saturday that the incident was a close call and happened shortly before 1pm. It's believed the military plane was flying near the skies of southern Sweden and had its transponder turned off - which makes it invisible to ordinary air traffic.    A Danish military spokesman told DN that at least one Russian military jet was seen flying in the airspace between the Danish island of Bornholm and the southern Swedish city of Malmö on Friday at around the same time that a commercial flight nearly collided with an unidentified military aircraft.    The passenger plane was taking off from Kastrup airport in Denmark at the same time when military air traffic control spotted the foreign aircraft.   "It could have ended really badly," said the Swedish Defence Air Forces chief Micael Bydén to Dagens Nyheter.   Upon discovery of foreign plane over Östersjön both the Swedish and Danish armed forces dispatched combat planes to identify it.   "Suddenly the military plane took a sharp turn and the way I understood it is that there was about a minute from being a collision course with a passenger plane," Daniel Josefsson, who works in combat management at the combat control centre in Luleå, told the newspaper.    After becoming aware of the foreign plane the military air traffic control centre gave a frantic message to their counterparts in civilian air traffic control.   "Our staff gave them a clear recommendation - 'do something, turn away' - the civil traffic controller then did that," added Micael Bydén to TT.   The situation is very similar to an incident in March this year when a Russian military plane nearly collided with an SAS plane.   "This incident in the spring was way too close, maybe 100 metres or less. In this instance we managed to avoid it getting that close," said Bydén.   In both of these incidents the aircrafts had their transponders switched off, making them invisible for civil air traffic. Bydén says it is "highly inappropriate" that such aircraft choose to fly in highly populated airspace.   "I would say it is among the most stupid things you could do," he said.   Jesper Duevang Rasmussen of the Danish Air Force told DN that Danish military jets “identified Russian military aircraft in the area” but did not comment on the type of plane or if there was more than one.    Speaking to Danish newspaper Berlingske, Rasmussen said that Denmark sent F-16s to meet and identify the aircraft. The Danish pilots reported that the spotted aircraft was Russian.    The Swedish military had earlier determined what type of plane was circulating and which country it belongs to but declined to go public with the information before the Defence Minister stated it was from Russia. http://www.thelocal.se/20141213/near-miss-in-swedish-airspace-concerns-m... ou why... why   putin regime aircrafts had their transponders switched off, making them invisible for civil air traffic???

Russian military confirms that the country had electronic surveillance plane over the Baltic Sea last Friday. The plane had a transponder system switched off and is reported to have been close to a passenger airplane that flew for SAS. But a Russian flight commander dismisses that electronic surveillance plane constituted a danger to passenger aircraft. Though the SAS report that there was no danger.

– There were no preconditions for a plane crash because of a flight by a Russian fighter jets in international airspace over the Baltic Sea on Friday, 12 december, says the Russian major general Igor Konashenkov, according to the news agency Itar-Tass.

He claims that the Russian fighter found themselves at a distance more than 70 km from the route of the passenger plane which was en route from Copenhagen, Denmark.

SAS said that the plan was just over half a mile from each other.

I can confirm that there was a Cimber-flight, which the authorities were concerned about. But the plan did not come within 3,000 feet away from each other, said SAS Danish press officer Trine Kromann-Mikkelsen to Ekstrabladet. Cimber is an airline flying for SAS.

Trine Kromann-Mikkelsen declared that no security levels were undercut, and therefore it has not been any report of the incident.

These data are confirmed by Knut Morten Johansen, Norwegian Chief Information Officer at SAS.

– In this particular case, it is not a security boundary that has been broken. It is therefore important from the SAS page to say that nobody has been in jeopardy, for both the pilot and ground control has had control of the situation, "he told TT.

Switched off the transponder

The aircraft, with capacity for 50 passengers, took off from Copenhagen Airport, at 11.12. Just a few minutes later, air traffic control, according to the daily news, the plane orders to change a planned upgrade because an unidentified aircraft were on a collision course with the planet. A few minutes later passed Cimber-plane behind the Russian electronic surveillance plane that flight with the signalling system facility, the so called transponder.

Defense minister Peter Hultqvist (S) directed yesterday sharply critical of the Russian action.

"It is remarkable and very serious, there is a risk that the accidents that ultimately can lead to death," said the Defense Minister.

"In accordance with the rules"

Russian major general Igor Konashenkov, however, rejects the criticism.

– The flight was conducted in accordance with international aviation rules, it violated no boundaries and kept a safe distance to routes for civilian air traffic, said Konashenkov.

He points out that even a Nato plane flew into the area with the transponder system switched off. Konashenkov said that air traffic management will have the opportunity to follow the plan even though they fly with switched off the transponder.

Infrastructure minister, Anna Johansson (S), with transport matters on his desk, do not see grounds for action due to military aircraft flying without transponders.

– I have so far not received signals that there is a widespread problem, but we should wait for the investigations of the events in the autumn and draw conclusions from them, "she said.

Ukraine is not Afghanistan! Unfortunately, it appears that our elected officials have concluded that the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan is a good indication of what it would take to win the war against the Russians in Ukraine.

The ZioCons don't expect that there will be any risk to American lives in Ukraine. It will just be a matter of time and treasure for America. The Ukrainians will do most of the dying; and there may be some Russians dying for good measure.

It is a good thing for us that we have lowered our presence in Afghanistan to the point where we will not need resupply routes through Russia anymore. I expect that Russian airspace will soon be closed to all traffic to/from EU andUSA.

What i can't understand is why the Russians haven't imposed an embargo on financial dealings with the west yet. Money i s moved electronically. Russia could open a correspondent banking relationship with PBOC to handle essential matters and shut out all the US and EU speculators from the process.

A continuation of the policy of "fuck the EU". A new conflict in Europe (either hot or cold) is on the horizon because the Empire needs to save its currency and economic dominance. Europe is fucked and it might very well be game over for the continent. Don't try to explain that to the average European. They swallow the 'oh the Russians are violating NATO airspace' BS. Don't even try to explain that this is all about who will dominate Eurasia. They would think that you like Mr. Putin. The average person is not capable of handling the realities of geo- and powerpolitics.

Bullshit Joe A. This is one of many Europeans who know exactly what's going on, and have no truck with the tribes minions as they try to destroy rapprochment between Western Europe and Russia. The silk road is our future, Madame la Guillotine is the future of the Brussels Puppets. They are either bought and paid for, or compromised by fear of their depravity being exposed. It's the tribal strategy. Those who can't be co-opted by bribery, will be compelled by blackmail. That's why they ensure anyone who comes to power has useful "history". But Europeans are not yet the dumb fucks so many USans seem to be, and the political puppets are not as immune to civil unrest as the US scum are.
