Yesterday, moments before the North Korea "hacking" tragicomedy escalated into full retard mode with Sony pulling The Interview, or a movie that absent the attention would certainly be a flop, Wired released an article titled: "North Korea Almost Certainly Did Not Hack Sony" (title subsequently changed to the one below as can be seen in the URL alias "http://www.wired.com/2014/12/north-korea-did-not-hack-sony-probs"), which however, and for the better, retains its content as it is quite critical in debunking the latest government "certainty."

They have missle technology (TPD I / II possibly III now) out the wazzoo and their CAGS, RAGS and DAGS (Corps / Regimental and Divisional Artillery Groups) are the centerpiece of their army. OTOH they don't have a power grid to speak of. In a conventional war they would bloody Seoul's nose, but get promptly pummeled by the ROK forces.
I have no doubt they could be behind this, and given what I know about their cult towards "Dear Leader" (Seriously, his father would appear on propaganda stating that he (KJI) was the reason flowers bloomed) I don't find it "odd" that they would direct national resources towards penetrating Sony.
