Watch As NYPD Officers Turn Their Backs On NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio
Just over two weeks ago, as NYC was turmoiling in protests following the Eric Garner chokehold death and the subsequent acquittal of the police officer involved, none other than NYC's mayor Bill de Blasio - a person whose job is to seek to impartially preserve the peace at all costs - tried to score populist points by disparaging none other than the NY Police Department.
This is how the NY Post summarized things, granted with a dose of hyperbole:
Determined not to let a crisis go to waste, the mayor has spent the last two days cranking up the volume and the vitriol of his anti-cop agenda. Predictably, he trots out his son, Dante, to put a personal spin on police-black relations, saying he is fearful the biracial teen will end up in a confrontation with a cop.
Imagine that. The city is in turmoil over the Staten Island case and the mayor throws gasoline on the fire by painting the entire police force as a bunch of white racist brutes. Has he no shame?

“We need a mayor to stand up with and for us,” police union head Pat Lynch said yesterday. He said his members feel as if de Blasio is “throwing them under the bus.”
It got worse. Demonstrating just how frayed the relationship between the NYC mayor's office is and the city's law enforcement had gotten, the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association issued a statement for the use of police officers requesting that Mayor de Blasio and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito not attend their funerals. Here is the text of PBA's request, courtesy of Truthrevolt:
I, as a New York City police officer, request that Mayor Bill de Blasio and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito refrain from attending my funeral services in the event that I am killed in the line of duty.
Due to Mayor de Blasio and Speaker Mark-Viverito’s consistent refusal to show police officers the support and respect they deserve, I believe that their attendance at the funeral of a fallen New York City police officer is an insult to that officer’s memory and sacrifice.
Which leads us to today, and the latest nonsenical murder, in which a lone crazed gunman, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, executed in cold blood and in broad daylight two NYPD officers as "revenge" for Eric Garner and Michael Brown. In other words, vigilante justice which, according to some, was encouraged by the mayor himself. One such person was former New York Governor George Pataki who in a tweet moments ago, blamed the murder of officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos on the "divisive anti-cop rhetoric" of mayor de Blasio and outgoing attorney general Eric Holder.
Sickened by these barbaric acts, which sadly are a predictable outcome of divisive anti-cop rhetoric of #ericholder & #mayordeblasio. #NYPD

Yes, but nothing compared to the reception that de Blasio got earlier today when on his way to the press conference to address the execution-style shooting of two NYPD officers, all the present police officers very visibly and demonstratively turned their back on him.
Dear mayor Bill, a piece of advice: if you can hire the guy who is building the moat around the White House, you probably should for a comparably treatment around city hall (and/or your personal residence). Because if you ever need to dial 911, don't be surprised when it goes straight to voicemail.

In the Netherlands now the danger of sliding towards a police state is not so much in the police force but more in the mentality of overcrowded and overstressed people calling for "ban this" and "ban that" and believing in the "security" scam.
Agreed the u.s has a higher rate of gun deaths than Netherlands,,, but considering a population of 17 million in the Netherlands to over 300 million in the u.s along with over 300 million guns I'd say the u.s is doing pretty well.
Still the rate per 100,000 is much lower in the Netherlands.
Sadly the u.s has a 10 per 100,000 gun deaths per year but 6 of those are suicides. Easier to shoot yourself than hari kari, I suppose...
Now the problem that rears its head is how many of those 3 per 100,000 supposed homicides done in defense of ones life or property. The u.s and state governments purposely skew these figures where it is next to impossible to figure anything out. Also these same governments refuse to collect data on how many crimes/assaults were prevented by guns.

I marvel at the dysfunction that the city slickers wallow around in daily. Out here in Flyoverville, cops are generally nice and polite to the well armed citizenry.
Some years back we had a new cop hire who got a bit too high handed with folks while indulging in his enthusiasm for law enforcement. This continued until he punched out and arrested a high school kid who told him to 'get lost' because a few of them were hanging out on private property with no complaints.
The next City Council meeting was filled with folks that explained to the police chief that either this guy was gone or both of them would be gone.
No problems anymore.

At some point, Citizens in every community will form small groups and meet with small groups of law enforcement to hash out rules of engagement and behavior based on previous law - the Constitution. And these groups will ignore everything else - political process, local state and federal politicians, union rules and the like. I'm sure others have said this...LE has been caught between 2 worlds. One that requires them to be heavily armed in order to protect themseves and exercise their duty, and another where the heavily armed/tactics would be monumentally excessive. The difficulty is telling which situation they will be confronting. Lack of funding, training and good intel basically set them up for eventual failure. Majority do an excellent job given said lack of funds etc.. But its when they dont, the reaction and backlash can be epic.
As wealth,education and jobs for the majority continue to degrade, the sheeple will be looking for someone to lash out against. The first level representative of power for government is the police officer. I believe this type of event will continue to escalate as the real situation continues to degrade. Government will react slowly then pass a flurry of every restrictive laws on freedom. This circle of violence and reaction will get worse.
It's not really a lack of funds but too much heavy arms and technology in place of training in POLICING. When the community feels no affinity for you it is because you are seen as an overlord. I haven't gone near New York except to fly through JFK for more than 30 years. The reason is simple. There is a psychic dome over that city and the material that makes up the dome is collective psychosis. When I used to drive into NYC, many years ago, I could actually feel that wall of insanity as it came closer and finally enveloped me as I went through the tunnel or over the bridge. Once inside the dome I felt totally immersed in an environment of rage, fear, greed, anger, hopelessness, and pure evil. I never stayed a moment longer than I had to (those were the days when I had a publisher and an agent in NYC and had to go there a couple of times a year.)
For the sake of all mankind this city should disappear from the face of the earth. There is nothing good about the place, nothing at all.

So, let's count the anti-law enforcement politicians and bureaucrats we so often see and have heard so much from in regard to their anti-law enforcement positions...DeBlasio...Eric Holder...Oh...and our illustrious president...Obama...and many more public figures...Sharpton, and his ilk.
Let's not forget all the news agencies, (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, NYT, LA Times, Washington Post, PBS, NPR, on and on and on.) that have supported the positions of these for decades. And their sympathizers...the individuals that support and vote for them, and listen to their news broadcasts and buy their newspapers.
This situation's been coming on for decades. Anyone that spoke out against this cabal, again, for decades, has been demonized immediately in a coordinated attack by all of the above.
Essentially, the police union is upset the mayor believes, or pretends to, that the reach of the 1st Amendment extends to the island of Manhattan.
I do agree with the police that they are not, in fact, targeting young blacks.
They are targeting all of us.

Exponential PTSD cases are not because of a war in which casualties are overbearing mental health. It's from a mental beat down and these solders come home to take up occupation in our justice system. So we have a pattern of abuse inside our military filtering out into our streets. I've heard many cases and researched far too much mental abuse in the military and we are facing it when they come home. I want a police force that is local and is involved with a community, not a soldier whose being job placed in some far away city away from his hometown. I want honor and respect in my justice system but I know from experience the DOJ doesn't want community, they want us living in fear for the corporations and money. If you can't find love within freedom you really have lost the plot. If you want a strong police force without community, you're most likely one of the privledged who loves his big truck and guns or domination over another. You're not into communion and finding a higher frequency and most likely will never let your ego join with another if it doesn't involve you copulating.

Yes, vets and the field trips to Israel as well as militarization since 9/11 generally all add up to a large minority of cops who more or less feel like they are an occupation force, and they simply crave the excitement.
Every call that 15 years ago would have been answered by one black and white and a pair of calm cops is now 3 cars, a supervisor, and tactical gear. Reaching too soon for your wallet is risking your life.
And there's the small day to day petty power trips of cops - yelling, ordering, demanding ID without PC. This is a minority. I'd estimate 75% are good people doing their best.
But there's a large minority that have no business having body armor and sniper rifles, let alone badge and gun.

These three indivuals are all in the chain of command for various law enforcement functions at the national, state and civic level.

Great minds think alike. Sport is the only thing I watch on TV and at that I pre-recrd it so as to excise the bullshit commentary and ads.
Do yourselves a favor and stop paying for cable or any other provider.
Listening to games on line or the radio is far more enjoyable and it focuses you on the game.
That way you won't had to spend the money on technology that takes out the commercials when you have time to sift through a game.
