Police Reportedly Rage, De Blasio's "Hands Are Dripping With Blood"
Following last night's back-turning show of defiance by NYPD cops, several Police 'benevolent associations' have reportedly come out swinging at the New York Mayor.
The Sergeants Benevolent Association, wrote on Twitter, “blood of 2 executed police officers is on the hands of @BilldeBlasio.”
The blood of 2 executed police officers is on the hands of Mayor de Blasio. May God bless their families and may they rest in peace.
— SBA (@SBANYPD) December 21, 2014
As Capital New York reports, a spokesman for SBA did not respond to a request for comment about the memo.
Furthermore, a widely distributed note - reported by The New York Times as coming from The Patrolmen's Benevolent Association - had even more rageful speak from the rightfully disgusted police...
“At least two units are to respond to EVERY call, no matter the condition or severity, no matter what type of job is pending, or what the option of the patrol supervisor happens to be.
IN ADDITION: Absolutely NO enforcement action in the form of arrests and or summonses is to be taken unless absolutely necessary and an individual MUST be placed under arrest. These are precautions that were taken in the 1970’s when Police Officers were ambushed and executed on a regular basis.
The mayor's hands are literally dripping with our blood because of his words actions and policies and we have, for the first time in a number of years, become a ‘wartime’ police department. We will act accordingly.”
However, as Capital New York goes on to note, a spokesman for the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association has denied that the group issued a now-widely circulated memo
Asked about the memo, NYPD deputy commissioner for public information Stephen Davis wrote in an email to Capital, "That is absolutely not a Department directive."
Asked if the NYPD had reports of police officers receiving the memo from any police union, Davis replied, "Unknown if it actually sent by Union formally."
P.B.A. spokesman Al O'Leary said in an email his union did not send the memo.

However, what is perhaps even more important is the heartbreaking message from the son of Rafael Ramos - one of the two murdered cops - on his Facebook page:

Exactly which of your fathers molested you as a child?
Awesome, well crafted response.
Evey dead cop costs Uncle Sam $333,604.68.
every live one costs millions in one of the biggest .gov dole rolls in existence in history.

It's got to get a lot worse than this before it gets better.
Tits for Tat.
Police "hero's" keep themselves safe by shooting first and asking questions later. And the whole force seems ok with that. Whatever happened to taking risks to protect the public, even though the public is becoming more dangerous, perhaps now especially to police? Who is going to mourn and deliver justice for all the innocent victims the police have murdered? Now a madman has indiscriminately killed two of their own and they are all shocked. What are they going to do when cool headed vigilante family or friends of of police victims take the police perpetrator out anonymously years in the future? Who you gonna call? Now that the game is on, public vs. police, the police/public relations will take on a new culture, and justice will be delivered one way or the other, it is routine in some countries, and is coming to America soon. Perhaps the best way to diffuse this soon to be coming culture is for the police to conduct themselves with true courage, professionalism, respect and humility and not to tolerate force members who do not display these attributes.
You are feeding your own ignorance. The statistics do not bear own your guano.
Cops luv steroids.
Watch out!
I'm waiting for the body cameras. I think the videos should be posted on the municipality's website. That should solve the problem once and for all. All you negative commenters on here are a bunch of sniveling little cowards. Go ahead, put on that I can't breathe T-shirt and walk through any black welfare neighborhood. I thought so. Pussies!
Where bodycams are used, they have one overwhelming result ... they show that police behave appropriately the vast majority of times, and convictions of perps go up when cameras are used. I wonder what the haters will turn to then when millions of arrests on camera demonstrate outstanding police work. Hell, it'll be even more interesting if there is no change in the number of times cops shoot perps ... yet the videos show again and again that the shooting were justified.
Maybe the next great wave of hate will be for firemen ... hell, I bet they use excessive amounts of water.
I hate to say it but there is more blood on the hands of police across the USA than there is on de Blasio's hands.
Socialists, communists, and liberals have killed more people than anyone else ever. Even if we only count the aborted babies the Progressives wqant culled from the herd of the black and broown families.
Pol Pot, Stalin, Mao Se Dung, there is a quick 100 mil.
By your reasoning any small number of murders and killings don't rate. And by the way, capitalists are just as murderous or haven't you read US history about what happened to US workers in the Ludlow Massacre?
Don't do math, do you. Commies have murdered about 100 million of their own since the Russian Revolution ... and that doesn't count the Nazis, who ran a collectivist form of regime as well. No other idiology has ever, in the history of the world, been responsible for so much death.
I suppose the down voter approves of the police slam dunking seventy year olds onto their car bonnets for no reason and then tasering them. You also must approve of throwing stun grenades into the wrong house and crippling and almost killing very young children.
There may be a great many decent police out there but the number of rotten apples that the force has is destroying the overall credibility of the police.
If neighbourhoods are too dangerous to go into even just for a patrol then refuse to go without the backup of the army or just plain refuse and call it a war zone.
I guess in your fucked up world, all police are the same as the ones that are sensationalized on YouTube. If you took the time to get out of your basement, meet some of the officers (as the human beings they are), and develop a dialogue you'd find they're not that much different than you or me.
They want to collect a check for a day's work, they are forced to work with some people who are abusive assholes, and basically they don't want to inflict pain on anybody -- unless they feel threatened. Who among us hasn't had to work with abusive assholes?
You don't have the balls to do what they do every day. But you have a big voice from your keyboard.
You are both a coward and an asshole.
You have misread my comment to say the least.
First of all my world is not fucked. It's the USA that's fucked itself. By allowing Wall Street to strip main street bare, the police are left trying to maintain law and order so the 1% can enjoy their spoils. In other words, the cops have been tasering the wrong people.
But tell me how do you condone/explain the stupid and violent acts of some totally idiot police like the examples I have given above?
I neither condone nor stand to explain the behavior of a handful of bad actors. But they are just that... a handful of bad actors. Yet, since those get all the press, the blogosphere and the Sharpton followers call it open season on all officers.
That's where I take exception.
Every profession has it's share of bad actors. Crooked accountants, pharmacuetical-prostituted physicians, asset-stealing money managers.
I just get sick of the generalizations that take place on this site, and the voracity in which the generalizers generalize.
My point is that me, you, the cops, the accountants, the money managers, and the protesters are all just individuals -- each with their own agenda. We may approve or disapprove of their agendas. That is our right.
Some bad actors have guns. Some police, some criminals. That's just reality. As a result, innocent people get killed. I am sad for each of the deceased -- the cops, the criminals, and the pre-teen holding a plastic gun. But I will not indict an entire profession because it is the cool thing to do.
You stand to object to the "stupid and violent acts of some totally idiot police" but is that the totallity of the problem? Or is that just an easy way to dump blame on a class of individuals, none of whom you know?
I get so tired commenting on this site. The bias is so extreme that any opposing voice is drowned out. I really miss what ZH was in days gone by.
zh has always been the fight club. still is....in spots. it is not helped by mindless ad hominens. so you can help by stopping that bs.
as for your comment, you are coming from the angle that cops will make mistakes like any other profession. with the exception of an occassional suiside caused by the malfeasance of another none of your examples result in acute death absolved by an oopsie.
part of your perspective comes from the change in law from the beinnings of the drug war from emphasizing the willingness to let a few criminals go to protect the innocent to considering everyone a potential criminal that needs to be treated as a criminal. this is not just a black or racial thing. it is pervasive police behavior actually trained into the cops. it has no other objective but to antagonize, escalation of force comes to its logical conclusion. history is replete with examples of how that behavior tracks to its logical end.
not recognizing the police force for what it is is naive even if you do acknowledge their obvious benefits. condemning all of them is the only way to change their behavior.
once the cops figure out they get more with honey than vinegar(as far as their own safety) they will change. it has already begun in several smaller metropolitan areas.
Wow. Your're like Dr. Oz. Stopping my ad hominems will help make the site better. Thanks for the advice. I guess all the jew hating, cop hating, Putin loving folks shouldn't be called out for what they are. That would be ad hominem and degrade the value of this site. Give me a fucking break.
And as for my perspective being naive... again, thanks for your psychoanalysis. Your misguided thought that we have to condemn them all in order to change the behavior of the minority that are rogue is both stupid and unproductive.
Have you never managed a company and the many people within it? I have (and still do.) That's just a rhetorical quiestion because I can tell from your content that you never have.
Life is simple when you can opine without actually doing things.
I'm sure the folks in Chicago will lap up the honey instead of shooting each other.
Damn those Chicago cops and their vinegar.
Frankly, I'd swear that a good number of commentors here are paranoid schizophrenics ... or schizoid ... or just love to grovel in the hate of any kind of authority.
I like ZH though, because it features articles that you won't find on CNBC or Bloomberg. Sure, lots are just plain guano, but every once in a while you find a gem.
As for the jew hating, cop hating, bank hating ... hating hating guano spewers who love Putin ... they're fun to read. It's sport. Kinda like going to the circus and gocking at the bearded lady.
+100.
You get it!
Too bad you've been here over four years and you still haven't contributed a god damn thing worth retaining.
The proper grammer is God "damned" things. Learn to speak the language.
And as far as my adding content worth retaining.... I'm not sure history will consider your nor my comments worthy of being memorilized. So, go fuck yourself, asshole.
Good cops, my ass. You work in a filthy, corrupt, criminal organization, guess, what, you're filthy, corrupt and criminal. Period, end of story. You're the fucking coward and asshole for not understanding this. Just like there's good bankers, right?
Tough words from someone who is saving up their nickles to buy an ounce of silver. Get bent, asshole.
I live the simple life and work a basic job. Been in corporate, had good years and bad years, but I NEVER sold my soul. Finally figured out you can't fight city hall, only extricate yourself from the system. I've never been happier and I own very few material things, silver not being one of them. You have a psychopathic persona to say the least. You're the asshole, stupid.
Very nice non-answer. Keep it up.
I'm so happy you didn't sell your soul. I bet your life is so much better than if you had participated in reality. I figured you don't own many material things. How could someone with your delusions afford them?
I'll extrecate myself from the system as soon as I drain every last drop of capital from assholes like you that would rather die on the cross of idealism than wrestle with reality.
I drink your milkshake.
You criticize me for grammar but can't spell extricate. Guess what bitch, I drink your milkshake.
And what do you do for a livng, tough guy?
The police own this shit now. The "us vs them" just went live. This isn't going to end. Cops will be checking job listings after scraping off their cute "cop" black with blue stripe sticker off the minivan.
Your screen name could not be more appropriate.
>> The "us vs them" just went live.
Yep. And if the police think that guys with pistols (NYC) or machetes (California, happened today) are dangerous, wait until they start seeing full power rifle armed (300 Win Mag / 30-06 / 7mm Mag) fire teams targeting cruisers.
Or how about some guy with a 338 Lapua pot shotting the police stations from a mile away?
It's going to get ugly long before it gets better.
Yep, just like Northern Ireland. Anyone who didn't see this coming is a fucking MORON...
At anytime did the NYPD or it's Agency members argue for it's lawful citizens being denied their constitutional right to bear arms and self protect themselves? Or did they remove themselves from duty until it was made right.
The time has has come for law enforcement (formerly peace officers) to decide whom they serve. The People or the banks?
Reap what you sow.
Is is just me or is a black person on one or both sides of most of the murders in America? I would say that we don't have a police state problem, we have a black thug problem.
One problem doesn't invalidate the other. If it was so, USA would have only cronyism problem - while in fact it has a myriad of severe problems.
It's not good for the Elites that the cops in America seem on the verge of open mutiny, and open season on whomever they consider an enemy. Come to think of it, that's not good for any of us, whether we think the cops are on our side or not.
Their collective conduct is making it worse for every PD in the country. They attack the Mayor for criticizing them after the death of a citizen in their hands? Only the guilty do that.
It's the mayors fault that a criminal killed 2 of their fellow officers? Last I checked, it's the PD's job to keep criminals off the street, not the mayor's. In the corporate world if you criticize the CEO like this you'd be out the door before you could pull the shoe out of your ass.
OK, but there's something weird about our mayor. He's a Catholilc who doesn't practice, he's a New Yorker who roots for the Red Sox, he's an American who went to Cuba during the height of the Cold War, he's the ultimate head of the NYPD who ran an anti-police campaign for office and is now reaping the inevitable, tragic results.
Sound more like a lot weird with him.
It is the mayors job not to incite violence or indulge it. I hope the families of the two cops sue the communist fucking mayor into the poor house.
He's a communist, for G-d's sake. He wants the system to fail.
Jaden, I'm sorry for your loss, but when you grow up, maybe you'll understand your father voluntarily picked up a gun and used it to enforce a variety of grossly unconstitutional laws.
In other news, the people win when the politicians and cops turn on each other!
Could you be more fucked up? A child lost his father and you think it's appropriate to make it a political issue. You truly suck.
You, sir, are a total goddamn idiot.
How are the two deaths on the hands of the mayor? He didn't kill them and unless there is unknown info, he didn't know or tell the guy who did kill them to do it. Was the mayor supposed to Minority Report this sumbitch and stop that guy from killing them?
Typical of those idiot cop groups.
Your stupidity is astounding.
Hey pig, isn't there pension or overtime paperwork to be filled out?
The commie dick bag mayor helped stoke the fire and never denounced the protestors when they started chanting that they wanted dead cops.
He is guilty of in action or dereliction of duty and should be forced to quit and be sued in civil court.
So should that piece of shit Al Sharpton
Eric Garner had six kids (youngest 3 mos old) and three grandchildren when he was executed, on the streets of NY, for selling loosies. Just sayin.
Moral equivalency argument classic.
I don't call the police for help or any other part of the government unless it is an insurance claim. If you or your neighbors can't help with an emergency the police are definitely going to show up after the fact. Of course they are always on time for their sting operations. The things where the victims of the operation are working together and no one is complaining or being forced to buy or sell something. Only a couple illegal industries are the exception; child porn, slave labor and child slave trade. The iPhone sting ops, drug busts, or anywhere else their needs to be undercover cohesion isn't police help.
The blood is on Holder and Obama, and their backers.
I wouldn't be surprised if they found him floating in the East River
The NYPD posted an online form where cops can sign up to deny the Mayor the right to attend their funeral, should a cop die. What a poser move.
blood on your hands is a serious charge.
who among us doesn't have blood on our hands?
