Former Airline CEO Claims US Military Shot Down MH370 Near Diego Garcia

Tyler Durden's picture

A second senior airline industry source has revealed his belief that there is some sort of conspiracy behind the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. As The Herald Sun reports, Emirates president and CEO Sir Tim Clark made world headlines in October when he revealed his doubts about the fate of the missing plane, which disappeared early in the morning of March 8 this year. Now a second senior airline industry source has voiced his doubts about the fate of the plane, with the even wilder claim that the Boeing 777 may have been shot down by US military personnel who were fearing a September 11-style attack on the US Navy base on Diego Garcia.

As The Herald Sun reports,

Now a second senior airline industry source has voiced his doubts about the fate of the plane, with the even wilder claim that the Boeing 777 may have been shot down by US military personnel who were fearing a September 11-style attack on the US Navy base on Diego Garcia.

The former boss of Proteus Airlines, Marc Dugain, put forward his theory that the Malaysia Airlines plane crashed near the remote Indian Ocean island in a recent edition of Paris Match.

Dugain speculated that the plane’s computers may have been subject to a remote hacking, or an on-board fire, which prompted a diversion from its flight path.

Diego Garcia is a British territory but has been used as a significant US military base and refuelling stop since the 1970s. It is currently home to 1700 military personnel and 1500 civilian contractors.

Many conspiracy theories about the island have been aired since the disappearance of MH370, but the US government has repeatedly denied that the plane came anywhere near the remote territory, which is 3600km from Africa’s east coast and 4700km northwest of Australia.

Dugain said the downing of the plane may have come about for a range of different reasons, including the possibility that it may have been shot out of the sky by the US military, who were fearing a September 11-style attack on the base.

He pointed to the testimony of residents of the Maldives, who reported seeing an airliner travelling towards Diego Garcia on March 8, but whose claims were largely dismissed.

Dugain said a fisherman on Kudahuvadhoo island told him a “huge plane ... with red and blue stripes on a white background” had flown overhead at a low altitude.

The former airline boss claimed he had also been shown pictures of a strange object that had washed up on a beach of neighbouring Baraah island.

According to Dugain, two aviation experts and a military officer believed the object was an empty Boeing fire extinguisher, but the mystery object was subsequently seized by the Maldives military.

In the Paris Match story, Dugain also appeared to dismiss the “handshake technology” evidence supplied by the UK company Inmarsat, saying that such organisations were “very close to intelligence agencies”.

The wild claims come as grieving family members of MH370 passengers accused the Chinese government of failing to provide them with regular updates on the search for the aircraft, which was carrying 239 people at the time that it disappeared.

About 30 people, many of them elderly, took part in a recent protest in Beijing in which they demanded to speak to government officials.

“My son is alive and I want to know what the government is doing to find him,” said Liu Dianyun, the mother of one of the passengers.

Australia’s Joint Agency Coordination Centre recently announced that it had scoured 20 per cent of the search area where MH370 is thought to have gone down.

On Sunday investigators said they could finish scouring the priority zone search area by May if there were no delays with vessels, equipment or weather.

Search efforts will continue during the festive period.

The Fugro Equator is scheduled to depart for Fremantle on Wednesday after finishing its current survey, and the GO Phoenix continues its underwater search.

More than 200,000 sq km has been surveyed and 11,000 sqkm of the sea floor has been searched.

They can track a human with a cell phone from outer space via a sattelite but "somehow" can't seem to locate a Boeing 777 that was flying for what, 3+ hours after it deviated from it's original course? The "missing plane" story and crashing deep into the unknown regions of the Pacific Ocean is complete bullshit. There is no question in my mind that TPTB, whomever they may be in this situation, know exactly what happened to the plane and where it is (intact or destroyed). And yes, I believe the good old USofA is an intergral part of this sham story.

But will we ever know, doubtful, unless someone really has the balls (no offense ladies) to set the record straight. And further, I don't believe the US would have viewed it as a 9/11 type threat. No there's something else behind this story, something on that plane in some capacity that is the root of the problem and all answers.

Sadly, we will most likely never know the real answer but fear not, we will have some kind of resolution when TPTB want a resolution. They need all of this time to plant the perfect decoy and when all is ready, it will be found, deep in the ocean, for the most part, not salvagable, bodies really can't be identified (other than identification/passports that are easily manufactured), not much of anything left. Black boxes forever lost. And they'll fund an investigation, paid for by you know who (if you said US taxpayers, winner winner chicken dinner), to spend millions trying to figure out what happened only to come to some BS conclusion from so called experts (paid off of course) that means nothing.

We're all chumps that continue to and in the infamous words of Jim Carrey - "Tired of dancin for the man". Just once I wish someone would really step up with the truth that can inflict some serious damage. Snowden was a step in the right direction but a small step as he's basically been silenced. Most everyone else that could probably play this role have probably been 86'd in some capacity.

Einstein was right with his quote, we're all just idiots now that technology has surpassed our ability to think.

As you say, it's impossible to believe otherwise; I feel a little nervous discussing it on the internet. If the NSA doesn't collect names from Zero Hedge, than they're just not doing their job; and unfortunately, they probably are doing their job.

Look at all that I have published here. I am still here.

(No I am neither a cop nor am I ex- military. I am an old, former college teacher.)

I believe that they want you to vent so that you do not ever act. Words are cheap. Actions can damage them.

We will probably all end up in the same FEMA Camp together.

They know who you are. Hell...I have even posted my name and address.

What happens during this short time when I am on Earth and what I do will not amount to a hill of beans in the long run. I am not that important in the scheme and...most likely, frankly neither are you.

They use the fear to manipulate you. Want them to stop manipulating you?

LOSE YOUR FEAR. It is all up to you.

Another good thing to do is feed their collective paranoia, so they grow the thing (for their own protection) to insane levels that everyone can clearly see. Because if they are that overreactive to their own self centered importance and paranoid of everything they see around them, they should not be anywhere near levers of authority or have the power to take or ruin anothers life.

And so we dance with them, they never really knowing what our true intentions are toward them, for when the music stops ;-)

Tim Clarke is no fool. If he raises doubts about the official line on MH-370, then he means it.

This latest theory from Marc Dugain seems rational. It is strengthened by the simple fact that the USG has played dumb about the whole incident. This almost always means they know a lot more than is being revealed.

If "Self-defence" is the narrative they want to go with, they'd better wipe all the information on Freescale Semiconductors Ltd/ Blackstone Group/ Carlyle Group off the internet (How many holding companies do these fuckers have?). Good luck with that, you thieving murdering bastards.

It's just plausible enough to make some people take their focus off the 20 or so Freescale patent holding engineers who were on board and their patents that are now the property of the Carlyle Group. Then there are two dead ex-navy seals who apparently did guard duty of a consignment that was loaded onto the flight. It'll all click solidly one day but not right now I'm afraid.

Ya, the goons are planned in advance. The entire situation is planned in advance. That's why it works. The right amount of man-power is on-hand at all times near the site before it happens, or shortly after. Rapid deployment is key & is always available.

Just about anywhere goons are required they are usually deployed nearby & generally work for FDA, USDA, DEA, CIA, FBI near to US soil & further away as in this case there's both nearby US bases, hence the reason to dot them all over the planet at huge expense to the global US empire's finances, and mobile such as with subs, destroyers, whatever always on the move, not to mention satellites to watch & the plan itself which pretty much in this case looks pre-mediated so there's no surprise at all. It's just a matter of watching the clock.

On a similar note (if you think it through enough) MH17.

In 2001 an airliner was shot down over the Black Sea by the Ukrainian military.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberia_Airlines_Flight_1812

Apparently the cause was a missile fired at a training drone as part of an exercise missed and locked onto the airliner instead.

So... missile aimed at a military target with a small radar signature instead locks onto civilian target with a very large radar signature.

But surely military anti-aircraft missiles with their own on-board radar guidance are built to ignore targets transmitting a civilian IFF signal?

edit: similar in that it will be easier to keep a secret if both the good guys and bad guys agree there's a good reason to keep it secret

Say a US airliner full of US citizens was hijacked with the pilot planning to fly it into a US aircraft carrier - would shooting it down need to be kept secret?

50/50 I'd say.

(I mean it probably would be kept secret just cos that's how they think but imo it probably wouldn't need to be. People wouldn't like it but they'd accept it imo.)

But a plane full of Chinese citizens?

Definitely secret.

In late October I came across this article in the WSJ:
http://blogs.wsj.com/chinarealtime/2014/10/27/deep-threat-chinas-growing-submarine-capability-throws-others-off-kilter/
which was mentioning the fact that China's nuclear subs had been active since December, 2013.
Another related WSJ page showed the map of the areas, which included the Straits of Malacca.
http://online.wsj.com/articles/chinas-submarine-fleet-adds-nuclear-strike-capability-altering-strategic-balance-undersea-1414164738
We know from sources such as Wikipedia that the last known flight route of MH370 went directly through those Straits.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/21/MH370_search_March_through_October_2014.svg
I'm thinking there was other cargo on that plane in place of the mangosteens and lithium batteries.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Airlines_Flight_370#Cargo
Perhaps MH370 was flown by wire to closely track China's nuclear subs better than satellites for military reasons, and then disposed MH370 at Diego Garcia.  That would be a good reason for USA government to withhold satellite and radar information. What a sorry state that governments have sunk into.

Irony of the missing MH370

"A division of Motorola, which became Freescale Semiconductor, supplied thousands of semiconductor devices, ground-based tracking and checkout equipment, and 12 on-board tracking and communications units. An "up-data link" in the Apollo's command module received signals from Earth to relay to other on-board systems.

transponder received and transmitted voice and television signals and scientific data.[3]"

"On March 8, 2014, Freescale announced that 20 of its employees were passengers aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. That plane, carrying the Freescale employees, is currently missing.[17]"

To me this makes it much easier to understand what happened to MH370. These are a group of geniuses who developed a small practical pressure transducer that Motorola sold literally 100's of millions of, to OEM Automobile companies. It's a chip and housing that's connected to the Intake manifold and reports on Manifold Absolute Pressure to the car's onboard engine control module; to provide one of the main inputs for determining fuel infjected quantity and to a degree, ignition timing. This was such a money maker that they kind of bought their freedom from Motorola in a negotiation where they formed an indpendent company, that can; and did, contract to provide practical robust solutions to very difficult electronic projects; they're very, very, good at what they do; and i can see how they might affect the balance of military power in combat aviation, for instance; but they don't work exclusively for Uncle Sam, they work for whoever pays their contract.

Facebook Caves to Russian Censorship, Blocks Page Supporting Putin Critic

Event calls for a Moscow protest in support of Alexei Navalny, prominent opposition leader and fierce critic of the Kremlin

Facebook has blocked a page calling for a protest in support of a prominent opposition leader in Russia, apparently at the request of Vladimir Putin's government. The page was created on Friday to organize a Moscow demonstration to support Alexei Navalny, an anti-Putin blogger who has been targeted by the Russian regime since 2011, when he spearheaded widespread anti-government protests. Last week, Russian prosecutors called for Navalny to serve a 10-year jail sentence on nebulous charges of embezzlement, sparking calls for pro-Navalny protests. The Facebook event page, which has 13,000 attendees as of Monday morning, was blocked within Russia on Saturday, though it remains online for users outside the country. The Washington Post reports that similar pages have since sprouted up and remain accessible in Russia.

A spokesman for Roskomnadzor, Russia's communications regulator, told the Interfax news agency Saturday that the government had requested that Facebook block the page because it calls for "unauthorized mass events" and that its request "is being fulfilled." A controversial law passed earlier this year allows Russian regulators to block any sites that call for unauthorized demonstrations or publish "extremist" content. The pro-Navalny demonstration was to be held on January 15th, the day Navalny's verdict will be handed down, in Manezhnaya Square, near the Kremlin. A Facebook spokesperson told the Post that the company is currently investigating the matter. A Facebook spokeswoman declined to comment on this story.

The crackdown continues

The Russian government has tightened its control over the internet in recent years, mirroring its broader crackdown on domestic television, newspapers, and other media outlets. This week's move comes amid continued economic turmoil in Russia and after Putin's annual marathon press conference on Thursday. During the three-hour press conference, Putin warned that "the border line between the opposition and the fifth column is very thin," evoking a World War II-era term for government traitors.

Facebook isn't as popular within Russia as the social network VK, which last year came under control of pro-Kremlin oligarchs after a hostile takeover. Both Facebook and Twitter have complied with government requests to block certain material in the past, and regularly acknowledge them in transparency reports. During the first six months of this year, Facebook removed 29 pieces of content at the request of the Russian government. A new law going into effect on January 1st requires internet companies to store data on Russian citizens within the country's borders, potentially making it easier for the government to monitor them.

For at least 10 years, relatively simple satellite technology has been available, whether or not implemented, by which a plane can be taken over remotely (away from pilots) and flown anywhere.  Ostensibly, the purpose of such technology is to prevent another 9/11.

The pilot was upset his guy was out of power in the country. He seized the plane. He had help.

The rapid rise and descent knocked 'em out, the plane flies lower and slowly lower.

Tracking devices and other monitors show Intel something bad has happened. No radio contact.

The plane begins to roll in slow and low towards the base. Frantic radio messages. No aswer.

They fly into the inner ADIZ no answer. Everyone thinks 9/11! and shoots down the aircraft.

Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper reports

MOSCOW, December 23 (Sputnik) – A Ukrainian air force Su-25 combat jet took off from an airbase in eastern Dnipropetrovsk carrying air-to-air missiles and returned without them on the day a Malaysia Airlines plane crashed in eastern Ukraine in July, Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper reported, citing an airbase employee.

The employee, who claims to be an eyewitness, said on July 17 that three Ukrainian combat jets took off, and that one of them, an Su-25, was carrying air-to-air missiles.

“After a while only one jet [of the three] returned, which had had those missiles… It returned without the missiles. The pilot was very frightened,” the man said. The employee stressed that only the returned Su-25 had been equipped with air-to-air missiles, and said he was sure it was not air-to-ground missiles.

© SPUTNIK/ MASHA ROSS US Submits Classified Information on MH17 to Investigators: State Dep't

The airbase worker said he remembered the pilot saying “the wrong plane” and "the plane was in the wrong place at the wrong time" after he returned from the flight.

The newspaper interviewee did not exclude the possibility that an Su-25 pilot could confuse a Boeing passenger airliner with a military jet.

“This could be. There was quite a long distance, he could have failed to see what exactly that plane was,” the man said.

The missiles carried by the Su-25 (NATO reporting name Frogfoot) are capable of targeting an object at a 3-5-kilometer (1-3 mile) distance, and to an altitude of 7,000 meters (23,000 feet), the source stressed.

“With jet’s raised nose, it is not a problem to fix a target and launch a missile. The flying range of this missile is over 10 kilometers,” according to the man.

He further said that the missile is capable of hitting a plane fuselage, whether directly or from a distance of 500 meters.

The density of the objects which hit the MH17 was very high, and these findings did not exclude the downing of the plane by a missile.

“There is such a missile. It explodes and its shrapnel punctures [the plane]. And after that, the missile warhead strikes it,” the man said.

The MH17 passenger Boeing of Malaysian Airlines crashed on July 17 in the Donetsk region, as it was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. All 298 people on board died.

The incident is being investigated by an international group headed by the Dutch Safety Board (DSB), its final report is expected to be released in 2015. According to the preliminary information of the DSB, the Boeing was hit by “a large number of high-energy objects” penetrating the aircraft from outside, but the source of the objects was not found.

Kiev has accused independence supporters in Ukraine’s southeast of shooting the plane down, but provided no evidence confirming the claim. The independence supporters say they do not have weapons which could down a plane flying at such a high altitude.

Wrong plane?  Not Putin's?

This theory is credible if the CIA/Kiev intention was to shoot down Putin's plane returning from Brazil, even though it doesn't explain the hi-res photographic evidence showing 30mm round holes in the cockpit area of the fuselage. And Putin's flightpath was quite a long way further north; he didn't go anywhere near East Ukraine.

I currently favour the alternative explanation that it had nothing to do with Putin's plane and was simply a plan to bring down the plane on the Russian side of the Ukraine/Russia border to blame Putin and he'd have had one helluva job proving Russia's innocence.

The Kiev Su25 pilot fired a missile(s) at MH-17 which disabled one engine and he then closed in for the kill using his 30mm cannon. This theory is supported by the "disappeared" ATC tapes between Kiev/MH-17where MH-17 was ordered to lower altitude and change flightpath in the short period before the incident.

Either way, it sure looks like it was shot down by a Kiev Su-25.

No wonder it's surrounded by more secrecy than a plane load of black aliens caught landing on the WH lawn and taking over government in the dead of night.

If Kiev thought it was Putin's plane, the FSB fed them a cover story which explained why Putin's plane was on so diverse a flight path.

How can a passenger plane can be shot down unless to get the main obstacle to all your plans, like Putin?

"....simply a plan to bring down the plane... Knowing that the black boxes might be found and that ATC tapes might be heard?

With almost 200 Dutch on the plane, the lack of effort by Rutte and Timmermans to find and punish the real perpetrators is astonishing.

The Ukrainian pilot’s first words as he got out of the jet were: “Wrong plane,”the alleged witness claimed. Later in the evening that same pilot also reportedly stated:“The plane happened to be in the wrong place at a wrong time.”

http://rt.com/news/216871-ukraine-military-mh17-report/

If this story is not made up, then the Ukrainian pilot statement "wrong plane," could refer to Putin's.

It was a plane the military was expecting, because Kiev had changed the flight path and altitude. This could mean there were "switched transponders between MH17 and Putin's plane."  That  ATC in Kiev saw MH17 heading to Moscow and Putin's over Donbas.

We will still have to wait for the official bullshit cover story.

Wed, 12/24/2014 - 05:15 | 5587561 smacker
smacker's picture

Switching transponders is an interesting theory which I've seen mentioned before. I don't know if that's a physical thing or if it simply means re-programming the on-board device. And who would have done that (presumably) in Amsterdam? And would the Malay pilot have been involved or known about it?Who knows but surely a pilot has instruments in the cockpit that tell him what message signals his plane is broadcasting? Regular users of flightradar24 know that a plane's broadcast data is manually entered by the flight engineer before they take off.

But if true, it certainly adds weight to the theory that the intention was to shoot down Putin's plane.

Absent the black box data and ATC tapes and the blatant lies being broadcast by every Western govt, we can only go on the limited facts we know. For me, the most significant of these are the many round holes in the fuselage around the cockpit area. That is virtual proof positive it was attacked in mid air with cannon fire and that can only have been the Su-25(s).

I'm still waiting for russian "independent" journalists and experts to apply free speech as far as this topic, as opposed to any westerner 100% free to make up stuff.

Countdown:

19, 9, 8, 7.......

Any russian who would dare do such a thing, would end up baked alive inside an oven, totally by accident, of course

MH370 in another timeline and dimension, hacked by aliens and superhuman witches.

End of story.

Another 'dimension' perhaps, as such things have a habit of 'disappearing' temporarily or indefinitely at certain points of the grid and/or certain temporal situations, no need for aliens, witches or other timeline vectors in the s/t continuum. Think Bermuda Triangle or the others around the globe.... it may reappear along with the rest of the bunch... may... or not. There wasn't enough fuel to go further and if a false flag op was in the works, we would have seen the results long before now... sometimes in our world composed in a EM grid, things do in fact 'disappear'... remember the lessons of Dr. Brown?

Dugain said the downing of the plane may have come about for a range of different reasons, including the possibility that it may have been shot out of the sky by the US military, who were fearing a September 11-style attack on the base.

The 9/11 attack was not an attack at all but an inside job. Is he suggesting the downing of the plane was an inside job too? (of course it was). The conspirators pulling off inside jobs aren't likely to fear their own actions are they?

Why did WTC7 fall down?

The claim is not far fetch. A big plane cannot disappear just like that without a trace, unless someone is determine to hide it from you. It reminds me of the James Bond movie Thunderball.

Two mercenaries, who have been securing the cargo for MH370 are dead.

They have been "experts" for nuclear cargo, say nuclear weapons/components.

Now Russians tell to Chienese, that there are a-bombes on board, destined for Peking.

Chinese want to intercept the flight and down it on STratleys.

US-CIA is faster and intercepts, takes the plane, dives it in indian ocean, including nuclear load.

I know this report is false because I am now willing to confess that I shot down MH370 with my BB gun by mistake while shooting at flying fish.

My bad, I am very sorry :-(

BUT I did get a lot of good sized flying fish !

Will we ever learn the truth? Yes, we will:

- Eyewitnesses from the Kuda Huvadhoo concurred that the aeroplane was travelling North to South-East, towards the Southern tip of the Maldives – Addu.

- Satellite data suggests that the last "ping" was recieved from the flight somwhere close to the Maldives and the US naval base on Diego Garcia.
