NYC Mayor de Blasio Slams Reporters For "Enabling" Racial Hatred
New Yokr Mayor de Blasio had strong 'not-my-fault' words for the media during today's press conference about the assassination of 2 NYPD cops over the weekend. De Blasio begins blasting media, "What are you guys gonna do? ... Are you going to keep dividing us?" He then gets on a roll and blames reporters for inciting protesters to confront police - "you all
[reporters] enable that [racial divide]... that's how you want to
portray the world." Yep - all their fault...
At around 51:30 De Blasio begins blasting media, "What are you guys gonna do? ... Are you going to keep dividing us?"
At 53:00, De Blasio blames reporters for inciting protesters to confront police - "you all [reporters] enable that [racial divide]... that's how you want to portray the world."
At 56:30, Commissioner Bratton notes "do some officers not like this mayor? Guaranteed!"

Why do all politicians have to be such idiots?
DeBlasio blaming the media is a "Bite the hand the feeds you" moment. The media and the dupes that voted for him are peas from the same pod.
It can be assumed what we are getting now from deBlasio and his ilk (even in Washington), and which includes the likes of Sharpton, is exactly what their supporters hoped for. So much for the claim that racism and bigotry being centered amongst conservatives - when it so obvious is in the far left.

If Deblasio would have just shut up and hidden under a rock, he would not have uttered the divisive stuff - that the media reports.
Bill Clinton amped the militarization of local police back in the 90's, Bush pared it in 2000 but the big Fed grants to the police have been exponentially increased by Obama by the billions of dollars, especially throwing the bucks through Dept of Homeland Security. There are too many warrants served by SWAT, but times are different than when a detective could show up at a door in a tie and white shirt to deliver a warrant. Hating whites, complaining about bigotry, and damning the cops has been a win win for black communities, politically, and they would rather blame the police for the mass of black on black murders every year than themseves.
Over 8000 blacks are killed by other blacks every year. The white police haters have little concern for these black on black homicides. In comparison, cops have killed about 120 blacks per year, which we must assume some of which were justifiable.
I don't like cops suiting up like the Seals going after Osama, but things are different in America. People are nuttier and less civil, more violent than 70 years ago. Call it the liberalization of America. We are far from a time when anyone could just walk up to Abe Lincoln's Whitehouse and chat with the President - who had no security much less Secret Service.
Democrats will surely use this Police Gone Wild meme in upcoming elections, and police haters will again electmore Democrats becuase racial division guarantees that 14 percent black demographic will show up at the polls to avoid the "law and order party," the Republicans who only exist to kill black people - they say.
I am proposing a national SWAT free day.
Let's see if they can go just one day without kicking in someone's door and teeth.
