When The Class Divide Gets Too Wide: Another Look At The French Revolution
Two months ago, legendary trader and investor Paul Tudor Jones, when observing the growing chasm between the 1% and the rest of America, and between the US and the rest of the world, said that this gap "cannot and will not persist" and ominously added that "historically, these kinds of gaps get closed in one of three ways: by revolution, higher taxes or wars."
And while the US government is doing its best to push both the war and higher tax "mandate", it is the revolution that nobody expects, and everyone is shocked when it happens, despite what is clearly an unprecedented level of class, wealth, religious, educational, age, gender and - after a quick stroll through St. Louis or Baltimore - racial division.
It is therefore appropriate that the following documentary reminder of what happens when the class divide gets too wide, in this case captured by the French Revolution, carries the following words of caution: "no one could have foreseen the turbulent times ahead on one spring day in 1770. The shadow of Versailles is packed to its gilded rafters with the glittering crowds of the royal court."
Replace Versailles with modern day Monte Carlo, New York or St. Barts, and the "crowds of the royal court" with the "0.001%", and one can easily see why 'nobody' can foresee that which in retrospect will have been all too obvious, only not 250 years ago, but this very moment.

Au contraire mon frere. Why do you think the feds are arming local police to the teeth with military style hardware? Have you noticed the steady expansion and use of SWAT teams in the US as well?
Are they going to put their families in the APCs as well? One thing for sure, the Internet will be the first to go. Some enterprising young man should get cracking on a Ham radio equivalent with airwaves, if possible. Nikola Tesla could have done it, any of those around? Imagine an electromagnetic internet that could operate anywhere, including outer space.
In Britain and in Europe a new revolution is well overdue.
And its going to happen.
The whole scenario has been set up, the slaughter ready to go and blood will actually run in the streets.
But it won't be the elite's blood - much as I would see a guillotine set up in Trafalgar Square and used. As much as I would man the barracades.
It will be my blood.
My families blood. My neighbours blood.
And we have been disarmed and have not the slightest defence.
We now have a standing army in this country of at least 100,000 fully trained jihadis. They have been coming in for years. Given our homes, our benefits and our citizenship as they bide their time to slaughter us and declare the new European caliphate.
Whole greats swathes of them. British cities are full of them and their numerous wives and offspring.
Millions.
Much of Europe is the same.
Yet this unmandated British government will continue to let them pour in.
Stand at Heathrow and weep for Britain.
Stand at Calais and weep for the British people.
Look at London and note how much is owned by the same forces financing the rape of Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iraq.
Soon add Britain and Europe to the list.

Britain has been bitterly betrayed by the political, media and upper classes.
The EUSSR is an abomination.
The British governments have allowed invasion and occupation by millions from Europe and now intend for them to vote in any referendum to leave the EU - ensuring we stay in.
These eastern European parasites who are living on legal plunder of the British people will all vote to stay in so ever more can arrive to take our homes, jobs, overwhelm our health service and school - which are collapsing from sheer numbers. Force down British wages - to starvation levels.
Britain is heading for bloodshed and so is Europe but it will be spilt by islamists - a massive fifth column army - ready and waiting to strike as the people have been utterly betrayed by the 1%.
And believe me they have their refuges ready - the rest of us will surrender and submit - or heads will roll - ours.
if 100.000 jihadis (if that is true) could slaughter Britain, then you indeed are not men at all, but bunch of post-industrial cattle. Compare yourself with kurds, they don't even have proper shoes, yet they are fighting.
Unlike the USA and other states the British cannot own firearms unlees under strict licence.
We have no weapons.
They would swarm across whole suburbs unable to resist trained killers with huge firepower and bombs.
And actually 100,000 is probably an underestimate. That figure is old.
And still they are pouring in.
Tell me - how would you save yourself in the circumstances - obviously we poor pathetic people could learn something?
We won't even know its coming.
