10 Things We Had To Unlearn That Our Children Won't
Submitted by The Dissident Dad, via Mike Krieger's Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,
This list could grow to 1,000 ideas, but I’ve kept it down to ten. In the future, I might update it and add some more.
There are a lot of bad ideas that dominate the world we live in today, most of which are uncritically accepted as the norm and fully embraced by society.
As a millennial myself, I’ve noticed my peers seem to accept most of these as conventional wisdom. Hook, line, and sinker.
Here are some ideas I was propagandized with that I hope my children will never have to “unlearn.”
1. Violence is normal.
Presidential candidates today are fighting over who can kill better by using drones or boots on the ground. By constantly threatening the use of violence against other countries, statists have conditioned the population into thinking that killing tens of thousands of people is normal behavior, instead of the immoral, dangerous provocation it is. Rather than being charged with murder, politicians and others that help support this behavior are often paid $250,000 or more a speech after they leave office, and referred to as Mr. President or former Chairman of the Federal Reserve.
Video games, movies, television shows, and even toys all have a common theme: death and destruction. For example, there’s nothing like teaching your child about policing in 2015 America via these Playmobil toys:
This isn’t normal; this is psychotic. And the sociopaths that rule over us are murdering and imprisoning people every day because “we the people” are not only allowing it, but often times, cheering it on.
Outside of self-defense, respecting other peoples’ property should become the new norm.
2. Political parties govern differently.
As a former Republican, I used to hate the Democrats. Now I see these two parties as just two wings on the same beast.
It’s true that they run with different themes and talking points, but in the end, they govern the same. They share the top donors, vote yes on the same wars, and never roll back a single thing the other does once in power.
Bush picked Bernanke to run the Fed, and Obama re-nominated him. Republicans like Nixon ran on an anti-war platform during the Vietnam era, until Reagan/Bush took over in the 80’s. Then the Democrats were anti-war in the 2000s, until Obama took over in 2008. Clinton, Bush, Obama… looking back at the last 25 years, I don’t see how anything has changed in the U.S. with regard to foreign policy, spending, or lying about U.S. economic data.
The oligarchs have us all fooled. Political parties are nothing more than spectator sport for a dumbed down public.
3. Patriotism is a virtue.
Why? It was an accident that I was born here. Am I grateful to be living in the U.S., surrounded by family and friends? Yes. All the same, I owe the U.S. government nothing. I am a sovereign man, and shouldn’t have to subscribe to any group or nation just because I happened to be born in a part of the world called North America.
I love everyone in this world, and I am not going to express loyalty for a specific region like a sports fan who loves his team only because it’s in the same city he resides in.
Governments are dangerous, and the U.S. is the most dangerous one at the moment. My love for the U.S. is no more than my love for the Bahamas or Europe.
4. Illegal aliens are evil criminals who desire to collect welfare from taxpayers.
For a long time, I couldn’t stand these people. Nevertheless, if I wasn’t randomly born in Los Angeles and was instead born just 144 miles south, in Tijuana, I would be doing the exact same thing the illegal aliens are doing. I would be attempting to better my life and my children’s lives by migrating north. Humans moving to different regions is a natural event; the only unnatural thing is the imaginary lines we call borders.
As far as the welfare, that’s a symptom of the disease we call government. It’s like me taking a tax deduction. While I don’t support the income tax, I’m not stupid, and I’m going to do everything I can to game the system and benefit myself.
5. Taxes are justified at gunpoint.
Taxes with the threat of jail or violence is wrong. I’m sorry, but I don’t owe you or anybody else a portion of the fruits of my labor – especially not under the threat of violence.
6. War is good for the economy.
I was told at a very young age, and even in high school, that war helped the economy boom. When you think about it, it makes no sense. Using production lines to create products that blow up into nothing is a tremendous waste of resources. Looking back, after WWII the U.S. cut spending by 50% and reduced the military from 12 million to 1.5 million. The evidence from the late 40’s and 50’s is that the economy boomed when we had less war.
7. Terrorists hate our freedom and culture.
Are there extremists? Absolutely. But the fact is the U.S. has troops in so many countries (see: The Golden Age of Black Ops – In Fiscal 2015 U.S. Special Forces Have Already Deployed to 105 Nations), and has a horrible track record of toppling democratically elected governments, supporting sociopaths, and arming rebels who later become “terrorists.” It’s no wonder than these policies occasionally come home to roost.
For one second, imagine that a nation bombed your neighbor and killed your son. What would your reaction be? These are the situations thousands across the world face on a consistent basis.
What if Iran had troops in Mexico and Canada, ships off our coasts, and drones over our air space? Would we want a nuclear bomb for defense?
George Washington was a terrorist in the eyes of Great Britain. If you want to know who’s dishing out much of the tyranny and chaos in the Middle East, as an American, you don’t have to look far from home.
8. The U.S. has a free market economy.
This is seriously stupid, but college professors and politicians repeat this mantra every day. In reality, the economy is so centrally planned that if the Fed alters one sentence in their statement, the Dow Jones could rally or fall by 200 points in an hour.
Here’s another fact. Nearly 50% of America’s EBT program in Oklahoma went straight to the coffers of one company: Walmart.
Meanwhile, regulations in some industries have forced business to have an entire division dedicated just to compliance. Even worse, many of these regulations are pushed by the larger corporations in order to drown out the competition with bureaucracy they can’t possibly afford.
There is no free market in the U.S. – only crony capitalism, manipulation, and a centrally planned system manned by busybodies.
9. U.S. troops are dying for my freedom.
This is a tough one, because you want to naturally love and respect anyone who does something for you, especially if it’s to protect you from harm. The only reason I even bring this up is because many of the troops are honest, decent young men looking to serve their country or be a part of something greater than themselves. Nevertheless, these men and women are merely being used and abused in a Game of Thrones-esque battle for global wealth and power. They are often just collateral damage for large corporations looking to expand their businesses into territories and countries that, without U.S. military intervention, would likely be thrown out by the locals.
I genuinely think the troops are willing to die for my freedom, but the corrupt American Empire poses a much greater threat to my freedom than any outside enemy we are constantly taught to fear.
10. My vote matters.
Remember in 2006 when the Democrats were going to get our fiscal house in order? Or was that in 2010, when the Republicans were going to do the same? I don’t know, but your vote doesn’t matter. The populace is easily manipulated and/or asleep when it comes to matters of importance, so why bother.
The vote counters and the media have already decided who’s acceptable and, of course, at the end of those strings are the oligarchs who run the world. See my post from last year: Election 2014 – Why I Opt Out of Voting.
Edward Snowden sacrificed his freedom to alert voters of high crimes in the U.S government, and many Americans have no idea who he is. Meanwhile, most politicians want to try him for treason.
* * *
Summary: The good news is that because of the communications revolution we are in right now, I truly feel like there is a great awakening happening. We see it in the alternative media boom, blogs like Liberty Blitzkrieg, ZeroHedge, and others are currently challenging conventional wisdom with ferocity and success.
We need to keep fighting.

Moltke said something along those lines, war maybe brings out the best in us? When I finish my coffee I will get off my ass and look it up.
Oh, and Christian? Upvoting yourself is bad form.
Never!
Perhaps you should go to Russia where your anti liberty sentiment is shared...

#11. Debt is Money!
There is something Creepy about the Arrest and Prosecution of Dennis Hastert. Not because he is old, it is a sex issue, he is already out of congress, or the amount of money transferred to a blackmailer.
It is the Legal System, the People in the Legal System, the detachment from reality of prosecutors, the pressing of any and all charges possible to add to their careers, pad their resume's, to prove a 'take-down'.
Here is a guy that was a victim.
I understand that I don't know DOJ or Legal Statues. But the guy is a victim who is now victimized by the DOJ, or whatever agencies is sniffing his ass.
"....to conceal sexual abuse against a former male student ..."
No one knows if Hastert is now a weakling.
But he gave up his ill-gotten-gains to some personal relationship. Didn't he??
Victim of blackmail, but unproven abuser of someone. His word against someone else's word... except if there are witnesses, family, friends, and social workers to speak up about the trauma.
At this point the larger, most immediate crime is Blackmail not transferring money to a personal contact.
Is it just me? Or is it fascist.
Another Alex Jones conspiracy theory that turns out to be fact. http://www.infowars.com/flashback-investigative-journalist-broke-ex-spea...
"The technological society… will not be a universal concentration camp, for it will be guilty of no atrocity. It will not seem insane, for everything will be ordered, and the stains of human passion will be lost amid the chromium gleam. We shall have nothing more to lose, and nothing to win. Our deepest instincts and our most secret passions will be analyzed, published, and exploited. We shall be rewarded with everything our hearts ever desired. And the supreme luxury of the society of technical necessity will be to grant the bonus of useless revolt and of an acquiescent smile."
- Jacques Ellul, The Technological Society, 1964
Cognitive dissonance much?

No actually, its like your neighbors going on vacation, entrusting their home to you and you giving the key to the first strangers that show up and expecting your neighbor not to shoot them and you when they return.
You claiming its not your fault, till your last dying death rattle.
I see you.

Do my three junkers even know what cognitive dissonance is?
The man just said he will avail himself of whatever .gov deigns to GIVE HIM while he rails against the very .gov that GIVES IT to him.
Fucking illiterates, you are not free, you are afraid to even take what is yours and hold it, preferring to beg & grovel for scraps.
Sheep.
This article is fucking dumb. Your kids are going to be dumb.
Lawyers are good.
With the right sauce, still have a gamey taste to me though.
Did you let the carcass hang until the head drops off. ?
Best to age the head in its natural state - in the anus. BTW - perfect assholes
You need to age lawyers extra long to get vile out...
Fears that rattle in men's ears. i am southern are you?
Over 50% of eligible Americans don't vote. If 25% of them voted for a real alternative candidate, the singular party masquerading as Dems and Reps couldn't win any election.
Non voting is not the solution. Making sure people know they should vote and can only vote once is the solution.
Diebold proves your statement erroneous
Non voting is not the solution. Making sure people know they should vote and can only vote once is the solution.
I'm a free individual with the right to make my own decisions. You could be too if you stopped thinking that you need Nancy Pelosi and /or John Boehner to run your life for you.
I agree. Not voting is a cop-out. What are you protesting for? The right to have even less influence over the direction of our society?
I am sure the cabal would love to have us all stop voting, then they wouldn't even have to go through the effort of corrupting the electoral process to get what they want.
Think about what you are asking for when you give up your rights - limited though they may be.
Until money stops being free speech, free trade with third world nations stops, and leaders of governments and companies are held responsible for their greed and stupidity there will be no change.
Unfortunately the great unwashed are becoming too stupid to know better.

more authentic frontier gibberish
Lots of lessons for my children, but they are all based on this one axiom:
Government is nothing but a syndicate of theft and violence whose only three goals are money, power, and division. All utterances by those of government are lies to cover their theft and violence. As such, government has only theft, violence, and lies to offer anyone, and can therefore only produce poverty, misery, death, and lies. Ultimately, those of government will do all that they can, theft, violence, and lies to keep their true nature under wraps.
Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission.
Judge a tree by its fruit. Cut government down.
Well said.
Have you also taught them to sharpen the guillotine and keep it in good working order?
In general I agree with you, and I certainly agree with "Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission".
However, I am not a complete libertarian - as you appear to be based on your blanket condemnation of all government.
I think there is a place for extremely limited government whose role is confined to ONLY those useful things that it is in no individual's interest to provide, but which society may need - and that is a VERY limited group of things indeed.
Keep the faith. In order for us to get a virtuous and limited govenment we will need people like you on our team.
While I am a complete libertarian, I have no intention of pushing for that, as the American people can't even handle the black and white tenets of the Constitution, much less the give and take of true individualism.
The idea is to strip back the veil on governmnet in general, and restore a realistic view of what it, they, are. With such a view, a proper relationship with government can be maintained.
The overall goal of Americans should be a Restoration of what we STILL have, but must demand be adhered to.
The Four Rs
Rejection: Stop Paying, Stop Obeying, Stop Playing
Revolution: It is inevitable, so prepare, as they are.
Restoration: Restore the American people, country and Constitutional republic.
Retribution: The guilty must answer for their crimes against the American people and the Constitution.
Liberty is a demand. Tyranny is submission..
The problem is that violence genuinely IS normal, and UNLESS you vigilantly guard against its re-emergence, it will re-emerge. The tale of human history is a bloody one.
The tale of human history if replete with characters who thought they were exceptional and priviledged and deserving of the fruits of other people's labor. Yes, psychopaths have been with us for a long time.

11. There is no ZWO cabal, that is just a conspiracy theory.
most widely held long time conspiracies are eventually proven to be true- the elites always lie to the masses about significant matters and events. The internet is making this very evident.
Still, you have to make a conscious effort to look.
"In speaking of evolution it is necessary to understand from the outset that no mechanical evolution is possible. The evolution of man is the evolution of his consciousness. And 'consciousness' cannot evolve unconsciously. The evolution of man is the evolution of his will, and 'will' cannot evolve involuntarily. The evolution, of man is the evolution of his power of doing, and 'doing' cannot be the result of things which 'happen.'
"People do not know what man is. They have to do with a very complex machine, far more complex than a railway engine, a motorcar, or an aeroplane — but they know nothing, or almost nothing, about the construction, working, or possibilities of this machine; they do not even understand its simplest functions, because they do not know the purpose of these functions. They vaguely imagine that a man should learn to control his machine, just as he has to learn to control a railway engine, a motorcar, or an aeroplane, and that incompetent handling of the human machine is just as dangerous as incompetent handling of any other complex machine. Everybody understands this in relation to an aeroplane, a motorcar, or a railway engine. But it is very rarely that anyone takes this into account in relation to man in general or to himself in particular. It is considered right and legitimate to think that nature has given men the necessary knowledge of their machine. And yet men understand that an instinctive knowledge of the machine is by no means enough. Why do they study medicine and make use of its services? Because, of course, they realize they do not know their machine. But they do not suspect that it can be known much better than science knows it; they do not suspect that then it would be possible to get quite different work out of it."

Dogma shootin is a good thing. Most people wont be thanking ya for it. Just so ya know.
Here is one a mine. Blame the leaders not the group so much. We do that part assbackwards.
Patriotism is for the retards.
#11 we live in a democracy
It's just a neo feodal system. Game of Thrones is just propaganda to prepare us for the future feodal state.
Yes, and don't forget that "hunger games" shit. Pure evil, right in your face. And it's fun, watching the peasants fight for scraps, and the peasants love it!
I disagree w/ #10. It's one of the fucking easiest things to do. Takes about 15 minutes all-in.
1. Request an absentee ballot. (the last one I requested took 2 minutes of browser time tops)
2. Vote Anti-incumbent every time. (I usually go for whatever 3rd party shows up on the ballot) (5 minutes) (I did however have an "Anti-Incumbent" voting party once and it took 6 hours and an incredible hangover the next morning.)
3. Mail the ballot back. (Oh I forgot the price of a forever stamp if your local election commission doesn't give you a "Return Postage Paid" envelope.) (5 minutes)
Additionally, a typical American Idiot might actually need an extra 5 minutes to look up a list of his personal incumbents. So in 15-20 minutes and maybe 50¢ any voter can cast their vote for...
"Real Change You Can Believe In - Vote Anti-Incumbent"
I don't care if it's Jesus Christ, Mohammad, Moses, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Edward G Robinson, George Clooney, Heidi Klum or Deepika Padukone. If they're the incumbent it's time for them to find something else to do - Heidi and Deepika can come over to my place.
You'd throw down with Heidi?
No thanks. Mudsharks I don't care for.
I agree with most, except immigration. The fact that you were born who you are - is a result of many generation's of your ancestors hard work, and they had every right to give what they had (including their genes, culture, material things) to their children and eventually to you. This idea that all births are random and we have to bring people from Mexico, Africa, India etc here and share everything with everyone - it just surest way of destruction of our culture and our race, and turning our country into the same kind of place that these immigrants are from.
Use and context of possessive words like ours betrays true intentions. Race is one of the most loaded emotional control words right up their with free, love and democracy that is misused on purpose to create cognitive dissonance shutting down critical thinking and creating automatic reflexive unconscious reaction.
People tend to use race to mean both ethnicity and species at the same time.
http://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-race-and-vs-species/
http://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-race-and-ethnicity/
Remember when people read they read in the third person automatically putting a human spin on the words whether they realize it. When someone says our culture you automatically identify it with what you consider your culture without even thinking. Words on paper or even on a screen are even more dangerous than spoken words for this reason. At least when you and I (whoever you may be) speak face to face we both have more informational cues to use to determine true context of the words and who is really speaking them (you or I in my mind).
11. The whole holohoax/WW2 narrative
12. That the majority of those calling themselves jews and saying israhell is theirs are really khazar savages.
13. That 9/11 was perpetrated by some box cutter carrying muslims.
I could add another 100 or so.
This idiot may as well be a NWO'er with his borderless world nonsense.
Wow. I agreed with 95% of his post, but I also took umbrage with that point of his.
Didn't think it was worthy of calling Dissident Dad a NWO stooge.
You're no better than, say, a gay liberal tranny vegan who bashes gay liberal tranny vegetarians for not being "pure" enough, even though you're 95% on the same page.
We should find ways to be ever more divisive and completely ignore any common ground already formed.
Agreed - I took this guy to be a neocon herding in the anti-war crowd for controlled dissent.
Basically he is urging: If you don't agree with the Empire's wars, please don't vote. But do continue to support the colonisation of the West by the Third World.
"I genuinely think the troops are willing to die for my freedom"
I doubt it. I see it more as a job opportunity for most. The same way someone becomes a firefighter or a cop. There must be a small minority who actually would be willing to die for freedom. I'd guess it's the same percentage as those who sign up to fight because they are psychopaths who want to murder people.
Anyone interested in starting an ex-pat community in a free country somewhere? Russia or Iran perhaps?
One of the last things that we want any of our people to unlearn is this:
-----
-----
I think I understand “your motivations” for adding this item, but you have succumbed to the age-old fallacy that as long as people’s motives are good (which I am not sure is even true in this case, given, for example the motives of those illegal Mexican immigrants who are part of La Raza), it doesn't matter what they do.
By definition, illegal aliens are criminals, because they have broken our laws. People who are prepared to break our laws to get what they want are not the kind of people that we ought to let into our country. I also believe that Americans who aid and abet this behavior by harboring or employing illegal aliens are criminals too - possibly worse – because they are selling out our culture for money.
Contrary to politically correct dogma, peoples of different ethnic origin are different, that doesn’t make them better or worse necessarily, just different. While environment and other factors play an important role, genetics is the primary determinant of human capability, personality, intellect and culture.Culture is a product of the people that make it up, and people have a right to protect their culture. Wanting to protect your culture does not make you a hater, it makes you a realist.
America was substantially built by European immigrants, many of whom (unlike you, apparently) value their European cultural heritage and want to protect it. Sure, there are differences between various groups within European culture, but for the most part they are adjacent in many ways. Africans, Asians (and certain other groups) come from cultures that are not adjacent to European cultures. If you don’t think that there is a difference, for example, between American and Mexican culture, I suggest you live in (as opposed to visit) Mexico for a while – which should enlighten you.
If you want that for America, I suggest you move to Mexico or Brazil, where peoples of European descent are a minority – that should give you a better taste of the life you long for.
Meanwhile, please don't patronize Americans of European descent that value their culture by suggesting that you know best what we or our children need to "unlearn".
Agreed. While Mike makes legitimate points about government intrusiveness, it is the fault of the dumbed down, tuned out electorate that allows this to go on. Bread and circuses occupy our time and attention so that the government's misdeeds go unpunished and mostly unnoticed.
His intentions, to use your phrasre, might be good but his wording is misguided. No borders? Ridiculous.
"As far as the welfare, that’s a symptom of the disease we call government. It’s like me taking a tax deduction."
Anyone who thinks that taking a deduction is the same as welfare is a fool. Taking a deduction is choosing to be exploited less.
As for the claim that the U.S. Is the exploiter and Islamic fanatics, the victims. . ."fool" doesn't begin to describe how bad this guy is.
Not one word about our “American Democracy” and our main street American “Free Enterprise System” (Free from corporate monopoly) capitalism economy. Brilliant!
How about 'Foreign Countries Are Different'.
There's an idea especially in the US that anything outside the US is some kind of no man's land where only degenerate towelheads or bean eaters live. The fact of the matter is that a decent condo in Mexico looks and costs pretty much the same as one in the US, Canada or Thailand for that matter.
People lives are very similar, they all want the same things and the main reason the infrastrcuture and standard of living, education and medical care is lower in some regiions, is because oilgarchs backed by Govt and military if necessary are robbing some parts of the world for very little actual benefit.
If I break into your house, smashing a window, getting muddy shoes on the carpet, rip your flat panel TV off the wall, leaving a huge mess, knock over a vase on the way out, I've cause thousands in damage for a stolen TV that's worth $200 at best.....
The benefit the US and EU gets from ripping off the rest of the world and causing wars, trouble and theft of natural resources, is minimal at best.... If we weren't so busy fighting over the resources, we'd have more than enough to go around.
There's no actual tangible reason why you cross the border into Mexico and the place is a huge sprawling mess... the population density in Mexico is far lower than in the US. The cities about the same size, the resources, silver, oil, mining, agriculture very similar. The language and culture is not even that different... so how is one mired in under development and the other not ?
Foreign countries and peoples often are different - to varying degrees. The fact that you believe otherwise suggests that you have little experience with actually living in and working in different cultures. As long as globalists like you believe that the "price and appearence of a decent condo" is even close to a criterion that determines the value and nature of a culture we will remain in the cabal-induced stupor that afflicts the US and all other countries of substantially European descent.
Our quality of life is at stake exactly because the values that you appear to espouse by virtue of your comments have crowded out the values that built Western (read white European) civilization.
You obviously have no concept of or appreciation for the legacy that we have left you.
"Meanwhile, regulations in some industries have forced business to have an entire division dedicated just to compliance. Even worse, many of these regulations are pushed by the larger corporations in order to drown out the competition with bureaucracy they can’t possibly afford."
There is no free market in the U.S. – only crony capitalism, manipulation, and a centrally planned system manned by busybodies."
That is not central planning. That's capitalism that bribes its way to power, i.e, plain old Banana Republic corruption.
Forget about using terms derived from Communism or Socialism, please. As you Americans are simply not knowledgeable enough about their proper definitions, you always end up with gross misinterpretations.
In reply to Lea:I agree defining terms is important.
Adam Smith’s Free Market capitalism was free from corporate monopoly because Smith realized that corporate monopoly unfairly destroys business competition with corruption.
The American Free Enterprise System of capitalism, free from corporate monopoly, is what built the USA into the wealthiest country in the world.
What we have in the USA today is not capitalism but monopoly corporatism that has destroyed American main street Free Enterprise System of capitalism with corruption and overthrown our American Democracy with corruption.
America is not a capitalist society; it is a fascist society with the merger of corporate monopoly with government. “Crony capitalism” is not capitalist, they are fascist.
#4 is a straw man, for one thing, for another it relies on a definition of human beings as mere homo economicus.
But, whether you like it or not, people identify as members of a tribe, or nation, and immigration control is also about preserving culture, and language, and ethnic identity from being overwhelmed by people who, understandably from their pov, just don't give a fuck.
And how about the bare idea of rule of law, and democracy - if people don't want open borders, the president-king shouldn't be subverting the law. If people vote for it, well, then so be it.
I do respect the idea, in a way, of secured but open borders for wage seekers, but not when they can anchor a baby, or get benefits paid for by citizens and legal immigrants, and not if there is no minimum wage allowing a race to the bottom which ends up fucking the working class.
this is everyone's big mistake when analyzing the globalization of the world economy. the global economy only refers to the free flow of money and goods across borders. the entire point is to take advantage of labor arbitrage, the difference in wages between countries. the only way this works is if labor is not allowed to move. if allowed, as in the case of the mexicans, labor would seek the highest wages and move there forcing producers in their homw country to raise wages to keep labor. interestingly enough, labor has some freedom to move to first world countries(except japan) from third world countries but it is not the same easy path for an american, for instance, to go to bangalore to take a telemarketing job that pays enough to support a decent life in india(which wouyld be better than a welfare life in the usa).
so what have they done? labor manipulation is being used to lower the standard of living in the usa and other first world nations while slowly raising the standard of living in third world countries with the objective of eliminating the labor arbitrage advantage. there are signs that it is working. some manufacturing has returned to the usa.
the tpp treaty gives an element of svereignity to corporations(not only are they people, corporations are now nations). the objective is a singlular world economy run by corporations. the whole world will be run by business. that will be fun......not for labor.
We have met the enemy and he is us.
There's a special group of people controlling the MSM who make all of the unseemly things on this list possible. I'd tell you the name of this group however that would be RAYCISS! I'm just a goy, you see.
Amen to the article, brother.
Another dogma that needs to be taken out back is this respect for a title. Why should we respect expert opinions if they cant/wont back up any of the claims they make? Its the norm in most fields for the experts to be running the game. Its gotten to the point where we cant get a straight answer out of anyone with a title. PHds being the worst offenders. These are just people. They more than any others should be grilled hardest of all.
Some pithy points for sure but when did ZH change its format to capture the Moonbat market?
Somewhere between subprime is contained and Hillery polling at 62. Maybe it was the 5 Billion spent by Vicky? Or Lois Learner. Libor? Take your pick.
Obama gets a Nobel - fuck him, give it to Snowy, a real American
I don't know...To me he sounds like a well paid, skilled, government shill.
But then global solutions have always been unsettling.
I like what dissedent dad had to say there. Here is another one add to our list. Check it out.

Umm, gee whiz, what is wrong with this picture? How dumb can people be? Seriously? How am I supposed to take these idiots seriously with shit like this.
"The president of the Gun Owners Civil Rights Alliance believes a chat helped change Dayton's mind.
Andrew Rothman said he and the governor spoke in an elevator inside the State Office Building.
"When the governor looked at the facts, they didn't support the superstitions he was hearing from his friends in law enforcement," Rothman said."
And then this:
"The original bill also would have prevented those officers from forcing people to provide access to private property as a condition of approving an application.
Franklin said before giving certification, local law enforcement will need to run record checks in addition to the federal review required under the National Firearms Act. Along with suppressors, the NFA covers short-barreled rifles and shotguns, rocket launchers and fully automatic firearms.
The director said the costs and fees for running those local checks "will have to be absorbed into existing budgets.""
Oh just go FUCK OFF! Come on man. Really? Somebody should have just stood up and said "Go Fuck Yourself you fucking morons". I was asked once to run for State Senate and would have had the endorsement from the GOP and therefore the campaign money but I declined. Maybe I will run as an independent one day. Somebody has to do it because this is beyond full retard. Easier said than done but I am getting to the point of not giving a fuck about decorum or being gentleman and putting on airs. I've been to the state capitol for some hearings and one in particular was meeting with Kocherlakota from the Minneapolis branch of the FRAUDULENT RESERVE. He couldn't make and the Fed sent no one to even bother with the senate. I wasted a vacation day to do that one but I least I learned that even if you are a state senator you ain't got much firepower.
Maybe I am just cynical but fuck these people suck boar tits. I would oppose almost all legislation. The bill I would author would require an annual review of all current state statutes and all public employees, officials or servants would be required to pass a test with a 95% accuracy rate per annum. Law enforment officials must pass this test at 100% per annum as a condition of employment. That would just about do it right there. How can anyone enforce the law if you know what the laws are? Pretty simple question isn't it? I have the infrastructure behind if I want to do it. I was part of the Ron Paul campaigns and I know some good folks. At the same time though, I wonder if it even worth it and how do you not get sucked into the bullshit corruption that is corporate government. I have seen good folks get elected and get bought off and I don't like that. The other thing is that people are on a power trip. I do not want to be anything like that. I can't be. I won't be.
I hate to even legitimize these fucking idiots who are calling the shots but they have an army of thugs known as LEO and it has to get shut down somehow. There a plenty of folks here on ZH who are quite capable individuals. What do you folks think? I know we are cynical but we have the Millennials coming up behind us and they are automatically cynical. Then there will be our children who will be... we don't know yet.... but I do my part to encourage civil disobedience. My kids will be a lot like the Millennials.
What Millennials need right now is some leadership. ZeroHedge.com has plenty of born leaders. It might not be time quite yet but the time is coming. I would say when George Soros dies it is go time. We have to remember that we aren't going to take over the world in one easy step. You can chip away at the pricks a little at a time. It seems like you aren't making progress but keep doing it a little at a time it does add up kind of like my silver dime collection. At least I have a shitload of silver dimes.
I think I already see what is going to happen for the bullshit 2016 presidential election. You already know who we will get stuck with. Hillary already bought that election. I respect Rand Paul but he will get nowhere fast just like his dad. After Rand there is no fucking GOP candidate worth a shit that I know of. Can you imagine the executive that cunt will issue? Fuck. We HAVE to do something but not right this minute.
I do not want to be part of the problem.
It's strange reading the posts of total civilians. I gave my country my best twenty years. "The Lord loves a cheerful giver" and all that. What they did with it is their business. If I furthered their quest for Domination so be it. I did what I did and gave in full confidence that my contribution would not be wasted. I have been in a combat zone many times and still have the red LES's to prove it from '85 until I retired in '04. If your elected officials wasted my time I blame every God Damn one of you for not electing officials that would have spent my time better. Those I killed and the many I'm directly responsible for their death, I look forward to seeing them in front of the Great Throne on Judgement Day. I will point my finger and laugh at your sorry ass for wasting that talent that was given you. Fuck your self righteous ass. You will be dragged up before your accusers in fetters and chains. I can't wait.
Other than killing people do you have any skills? Cuz while you was out blowing shit up I was fixing things. I notice you stuck around long enough to pick up that sweet pension then left.
I'm a A&P (Airframe and Power plant) mechanic. I specialise in Attack Helicopters. I did work Civil Aviation small fixed wing airplanes, Cessna, Maule etc. I ran my auto repair shop when I wasn't deployed. I built a lot of race engines for some dirt track guys. My baby is a B-5 Blue 1969 Plymouth GTX. I built the 440 Super Commando in the fall of '89. It ran 7:10 in the eighth mile strip through the mufflers. I do all my own welding and have a lathe and mill that I work with too. I also paint cars and boats. Do all of my own gardening as well.
Sounds like you have a lot to be proud of. Cept that killin people thing.
Some folks just need killin...
Really, Dissident Dad? You don't vote? I think the people who run the system appreciate your not voting. In fact, I think your not voting is all they really want. Everything else, they can handle.
I'm sort of a free agent right now, but when shit gets real, I'll sign up with the strongest tribe that'll have me. I will have to take an oath to obey our leader, protect my fellow tribesmen, and destroy the tribe's enemies without mercy. Dissident Dad will do likewise if he doesn't want himself and his kids becoming dog food. If you can't tell the difference between "us" and "them" and discriminate accordingly, you're "them".
Libertarianism is for spergs and sociopaths. In the real world, people hold concentric circles of loyalty usually (but not always) based on blood, like the old Pashtun saying, "me against my brother, me and my brother against our cousin, me, my brother, and our cousin against the world."
Yep. Sci-fi book: "The Diamond Age". I think there's a good chance that's the way it will be.
(Except that... I think that just being a libertarian does not make one a sociopath. Just being a loner does not make one a sociopath. I think there are more sociopaths inside the "big Parties" and at the country clubs, and that the most dangerous sociopaths are the ones who join the group, because that's where the power is, and rise to the top, and use that power against those inside and outside.)
