My son is gay. At least he was honest about it from day one. He is living with a guy.
The difference between my son and Jenner is this. My son didn't lie to a woman, have kids with her, only to come out later.
I've known three women in my life who had children with men who later came out of the closet. The women were devastated. The kids didn't know what to make of it.

A man can live as a woman and it is possible you would never know they had a penis. There are all kinds of conditions where folks are born, "in the middle."
For me, if you are identifying as a woman, I am okay to treat you as one. If the person is not biologically a woman, luckily for me, does not matter. I will not be screwing it or trying to have a family with it.

One thing I havn't seen much talk about on these forums regarding the new transgender wave is what an absolute CASH COW it is for the medical and therapy industry. You don't just get to become a man or a woman. You need to take classes for posture and body language, as well as speech therapy etc. You have to PASS TESTS where you must BE the other sex for X amount of weeks without BEING NOTICED as the opposite sex before you can be APPROVED of the actual sex change surgery. It is an absolute CASH COW from beginning to end. Not to mention it is the new grey area for what can be billed on your medical insurance. Funny to note the sex change surgery itself can be covered under Obamacare.
