Roof was arrested on unspecified drug charges in Lexington County, South Carolina last March, local television outlet WIS reported. A Facebook page purportedly belonging to Roof identified him as a Columbia, South Carolina resident who attended White Knoll High School in Lexington, South Carolina.
Roof's uncle, 56-year-old Carson Cowles, said he recognized his nephew in the surveillance footage authorities released Thursday. "The more I look at him, the more I'm convinced, that's him," Cowles told Reuters.
Cowles said Roof was "quiet" and "soft-spoken," Reuters notes. Roof's father, whose name has not been released, purportedly gave him a .45-caliber pistol for his 21st birthday, though it's unclear if that was the weapon used in the shooting.
Six women and three men were killed Wednesday night when the shooting suspect opened fire at the church. The victim's names have not been released. The suspect may have disguised his appearance with a fake nose and wig, an anonymous law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times.
Chilling eyewitness testimony from USA Today:
Sylvia Johnson, a cousin of Pinckney, the pastor, said one of the survivors told her that the gunman reloaded five times during the ordeal.
At point, as he was reloading, members of the group tried to get him to stop, Johnson told WIS News.
"He just said 'I have to do it. You rape our women and you're taking over our country. And you have to go," Johnson said.

These guys are the canary in the coal mine...they are showing us something is very, very wrong. It's not just the ones like this who flare out like a supernova...most are 'losing it' in more subtle ways.
In the past, when societies became stressed, and their young adult men grew restless, they could be sent off to discover new lands, and get it out of their systems. When you have no more real roles for them to grow into and occupy at home, they become more hostile, more aggressive...nature's way of telling them they'll have to fight harder to gain a 'place' in the world. Which will mean knocking someone else out of theirs since all places are taken. The aggression/testosterone builds up, and these guys start to become a real pain in the ass.
Then you could get the village together, build ships, and arm and supply your troublemakers. Send them off to either pillage and return with it out of their systems, or to settle in new lands altogether.
Today, there ARE no new lands. And all meaningful roles are occupied. There aren't enough 'places' for an ambitious young man to stake out a territory anymore. All the alphas that SHOULD be out exploring and conquering have been forced to squeeze themselves into beta roles, or worse, no roles at all. And they get frustrated. It comes out in many ways, like alcoholism, drug abuse, crime and gang activity, and sometimes in horribly violent explosions like this guy.
People often forget that even though we are intelligent as a species, we ARE still subject to nature's rules. That's why so many of TPTB screw up so badly with their plans and schemes...they forget to account for human nature.
A man without a job isn't just a man who needs money...giving him welfare doesn't solve the problem. He needs a PLACE in his world where his ambitions and talents can be put to use. Otherwise he'll use them elsewhere. And he'll resent you for making him dependent and forcing him into a subservient role against his nature. In an environment like that, the weaker ones will snap, turn all that energy inwards, or out at the world.
Of course this guy has got to go away, for a long time. But you better make room, because there will be more like him coming.

More photo oddities that make me believe that these are just the typical false flag Photoshop trash.
- On the top left wanted poster, where the hair looks to be a photo-blob intentionally placed to hide the features of the face, the features of his face appear to be intentionally blurred (not just low res camera ... which on a wanted poster is good for what?) If not blurred, that shot would give us a good look at his face.
- On the top right wanted poster picture, the look and placement of the hair looks way different (looks forward and very full, off the forehead) compared to either the prison orange picture (hair looks very flat and against the head). Maybe he got a perm before going to the prayer meeting???? He does not look like a perm kind of guy to me.
- The picture of him supposedly standing in a forest looks like his head put on someone else's body. If you look closely at the positioning, they look to have positioned the head down and forward when they pasted it on.
- Skin tone is very different. The guy on the wanted poster has a yellowish skin tone and the guy in the other pictures has a reddish skin tone (Color Me Beautiful, doesn't lie regardless of lighting)

So here is one for you. Look at the picture of him in the prison orange. Look at the coloration of his face and neck and then look at the coloration of his chest. The chest is in full light and the photo shows that his face and neck are in shadow and there is a slight shadow on the wall to his left, which would indicate there is light source to his right. There does not seem to be a light source on his neck or head coming from the right (it looks like they want us to think the light source is directly above... is that really how they do prison photos?), only on his chest ... what the heck is up with that. If you look closely it looks as if his head has been Photoshop added to the body at the base of the neck.
All we know at this point is that there are claims from the media that 9 people are dead from a church shooting in South Carolina. I never questioned whether it actually happened or not. However, now that you mention it, it might really just be another Sandy Hook type of fraud. If so, we will next see crisis actors coming in and flubbing their lines (maybe intentionally because that creates more controversy)

WTF are you looking at? The only things that are in shadow are things on the left side of his body, which would be consistent with a light to his right. The right side of his hair is illuminated, the left side is not. His right upper cheek is illuminated, his left is not. His right ear is illuminated, his left is not. His right upper lip is illuminated, his left is not. The right side of his lower neck is illuminated, his left is not.

Here in Alabama, our Church has CCW holders who attend every service. They wear "Security" shirts so that if they have to draw, they are easily identified by police as church members and not the active shooter. There is also a uniformed officer in the lobby outside the sanctuary, in addition to the dozen or so officers that are hired to direct traffic outside.

MOUNT HOLLY — A white teenage inmate at the Burlington County jail allegedly was held down by two black inmates and raped by a third black inmate purported to be a Bloods gangster.
According to a tipster, a retired former jail officer, the white inmate turned 18 Monday, and the prison rape was his birthday present. The tipster said that while the boy was being raped he started to have seizures.
The tipster said officers employed in the jail system wanted the public to know what happened. “Everything’s such a bleeping secret in there, and the warden is nothing but a ‘yes’ man,” he said.
“They said the victim is from Maple Shade, and they said his parents don’t know (about the rape). They said his family doesn’t even have a clue as to what happened.
“They said he was spaced out. They said while they were raping him and holding him down, he was having some kind of seizure. It’s a shame what they did to that boy, man.”
The tipster said the rape occurred in the C and D Wing bathroom and provided the names of the Maple Shade victim and his alleged attacker, “who was caught with (the victim’s) bloody shorts and has been charged with the rape.”
The tipster said jail security is still trying to identify the two inmates who held the victim down during the rape.
