"They Have To Go"; Trump Vows To Deport All Illegal Immigrants

Tyler Durden's picture

"You’re going to love me on immigration," Donald Trump told a crowd of reporters and fans who gathered in Iowa to hear the billionaire speak after he landed in a $7 million Sikorsky.

Trump, who drew sharp criticism in some circles after suggesting that Mexican immigrants were responsible for rape and drug addiction in the US, hasn’t backed down on calls for a tougher stance on immigration and to be sure, some voters share his views, even if they don’t necessarily agree with the rather uncouth way in which they were presented.

Trump’s call for the construction of a "wall" along America’s southern border is diametrically opposed to President Obama’s push to shield nonviolent immigrants from deportation. An executive order from the President designed to speed up efforts to overhaul immigration drew sharp criticism from Republican governors who moved to block the order earlier this year.

On Saturday, Trump told NBC’s Chuck Todd that if he were elected in 2016, Obama’s executive order would be immediately rescinded. In an exclusive interview given aboard Trump’s private 757, the GOP frontrunner also told Todd that he would deport all illegal immigrants. “They have to go,” he insisted. Here’s more:

Donald Trump would reverse President Obama's executive orders on immigration and deport all undocumented immigrants from the U.S. as president, he said in an exclusive interview with NBC's Chuck Todd.

"We're going to keep the families together, but they have to go," he said in the interview, which will air in full on NBC's "Meet the Press" this Sunday.

Pressed on what he'd do if the immigrants in question had nowhere to return to, Trump reiterated: "They have to go."

"We will work with them. They have to go. Chuck, we either have a country, or we don't have a country," he said.

Speaking on Trump's gilded private plane as it idled on a runway in Des Moines, Iowa, the real-estate mogul and Republican presidential frontrunner offered the first outlines of the immigration policy proposals he'd implement from the Oval Office.

Trump said, to begin, "we have to" rescind Obama's executive order offering those brought to the U.S. illegally as children — known as DREAMers — protection from deportation, as well as Obama's unilateral move to delay deportation for their families as well.

"We have to make a whole new set of standards" for those immigrating to the US.

While short on particulars, that's about as unequivocal as you can get when it comes to a clearly communicated policy stance.

The interesting thing to note here is that as we revealed in June, "since the start of the Second Great Depression, the US has added 2.3 million 'foreign-born' workers, offset by just 727K 'native-born'. This means that the 'recovery' has almost entirely benefited foreign-born workers, to the tune fo 3 to 1 relative to native-born Americans."

Because our analysis of what we called the "illegal immigrant recovery" seems particularly apt here, we'll excerpt the relevant passages below.

*  *  *

How does the BLS determine a foreign-born worker? This is its definition:

The foreign born are persons who reside in the United States but who were born outside the country or one of its outlying areas to parents who were not U.S. citizens. The foreign born include legally-admitted immigrants, refugees, temporary residents such as students and temporary workers, and undocumented immigrants. The survey data, however, do not separately identify the numbers of persons in these categories.

In other words, the "foreign-born" catogory includes both legal and illegal immigrants unfortunately, the BLS is unable, or unwilling, to distinguish between the two.

As a result, it may well be, that the surprise answer why America's labor productivity (which recently posted its worst 6 month stretch in 22 years) has plummeted in recent years and certainly months, confounding economists who are unable to explain why "solid" labor growth does not translate into just as solid GDP growth...

... and why wage growth has gone precisely nowhere, is because the vast majority of all jobs since December 2007, or 75% to be specific, have gone to foreign-born workers, a verifiable fact. What is unknown is how many of these millions of "foreign-born" jobs have gone to illegal immigrant who are perfectly willing to work hard, and yet whose wage bargaining power is absolutely nil (after all they are happy just to have a job) thereby leading to depressed wages for native-born workers in comparable jobs, resulting in wage growth which over the past 8 years has been non-existent.

Incidentally, this is the same lack of wage growth which has allowed the Fed to pump some $4 trillion into the stock market. Because far more than merely a domestic politics issues, the lack of wage growth and downstream inflation, is precisely what has permitted the Fed to maintain QE as long as it has.

In other words, how many illegal workers cross the US border, may be the biggest variable shaping US monetary policy at the moment! And, in thought-experiment land, the more porous US immigration policy the longer the Fed will be allowed to maintain its ZIRP/QE experiment, and the higher the S&P will rise.

Could it be that illegal immigration is the best friend of that 0.1% of the US population which has benefited exclusively from the Fed's relentless injection of liquidity into risk assets via either ZIRP of QE?

Note: this is not meant to come down on either side of the illegal immigration debate: the upcoming presidential elections will do enough of that. It merely seeks to fill a gaping hole in economist models which are unable to explain or rationalize why America's seemingly "booming" jobs recovery, which is "firing on all fours" according to the BLS, is not manifesting itself in either inflationary pressures, or broad economic productivity.

What does that even mean, are we going to be treated to newz footage of Uncle Julio taking a crying, screaming baby girl from his mothers arms because he and the baby are American and Mom & Dad are not? Everyone of a "brown/yellow/red complexion" going to be accosted on the streets and asked to see their papers?

The fucking government CAUSED THE ISSUE by not securing its own fucking border and now "the government" will be tasked by Trump in fixing it?

Just think of the logistics involved in what I think he just said (political pandering really but that's beside the point) it's one thing "to find" an illegal (a traffic stop, a criminal or civil arrest, whatever...and deport them) it's another to say "They have to go"...I don't know WTF that means, it's as vaccuous and meaningless as saying Hope-n-Change ad nauseum or is he saying he's unleashing storm troopers to go door to door or setting up road blocks for "Show Us Jer Paperz" type crap every five city blocks?

As an American I'll shoot the motherfuckers in the face if they come to my door with that bullshit and if they hassle me on the roads I'll fill their heads with so much bullshit about "illegals" hanging out on every street corner I just passed that the "law enforcement system" will implode from chasing their tails.

Start busting employers. They'll kick and scream, they'll go to court, but it has to be made a hot button issue. Social Security will have to give up the secret sources, e-verify without biometric ID, stop with the blind issuance of tax ID numbers and just a trickle of jobs given out may result.

Yes. I work in construction. Ironic that my illegal work bro wants "a license to shoot everyone crossing the border" - illegals robbed his ass, too (in the Union)! We agreed when he and his kin first arrived that they would *not* undercut us. They make the same wage. Why not? Most work as hard as I do.

And that objection about poor uprooted post_NAFTA farmers? BS. Most of these guys are unattached youths and young adults. They're playin' the same con I would if I were in their shoes. Agreed with a caveat.

We know what the root cause is, the desire for cheap labor (and lately leftwing statists noticed they can expand the state proportionately while amassing greater power to themselves) but the key to that strategy is knowingly hiring illegals. It's one thing to troll through the Home Depot parking lot actively looking for illegals to employ it's quite another to hire someone who has "der paperz in order" only to find out later that the documents the illegal presented were forged.

And of course we're giving the lawyers and the state more work when we really should be thinking in terms of shrinking both "professions" back to some semblance of a manageable size.

I just can't help but think we're being played for fucking fools yet again and I'll go back to my previous statement, the US government caused this massive problem on purpose by not controlling it's own border and now we innocently ask it to fix the very problem it knowingly created.

We went through all this in the 80's and they lied to us then as well.

Correct nmewn, individuals within the FEDGOV have broken many laws allowing/inciting an illegal alien invasion of the USA.

I think "anchor babies" are also illegal but that is just my opinion.

The message though, will be changed from "please come invade this country" to "don't even try" and that is necessary. The murdering destructive treason that is currently FEDGOV policy is killing American citizens and destroying the country. It is in effect a declaration of war by the obirdbrain regime, Congress and the Judiciary against American citizens.

Crimes have consequences and I am not responsible for illegal alien crimes.

Deport them all.

Departing Mexicans is nothing new.It was done under the Eisenhower administration under codename operation Wetback.

Operation Wetback was an immigration law enforcement initiative created by Director of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service Joseph Swing in cooperation with the Mexican government. The program was implemented in May 1954 by the U.S. Attorney General Herbert Brownell, and utilized special tactics to deal with unsanctioned border crossing and residence in the United States by Mexican nationals.[1] It became an issue in Mexico-United States relations. Ultimately, the program came as a result of pressure from the Mexican government to stop illegal entry of Mexican laborers in the United States-based largely on the Bracero Program.[citation needed] After implementation, Operation Wetback was met with allegations of abuse and suspension of certain civil rights of Mexicans who were arrested and deported by U.S. Border Patrol.[2]

Operation Wetback was a system of tactical control and cooperation within the U.S. Border Patrol and alongside the Mexican government.[30] Planning between the INS led by Gen. Joseph Swing and the Mexican government began in early 1954 while the program was formally announced in May 1954.[31] On May 17th, 1954 command teams of 12 Border Patrol agents, buses, planes, and temporary processing stations began locating, processing, and deporting Mexicans that had illegally entered the United States. 750 immigration and border patrol officers and investigators, 300 jeeps, cars and buses, and 7 airplanes were allocated for the operation.[32] Teams were focused on quick processing and deportation, as planes were able to coordinate ground efforts more quickly and increase mobility.[33] Those deported were handed off to Mexican officials, who in turn deported them into central Mexico where there were many labor opportunities.[34] While the operation would include the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, its main targets were border areas in Texas and California.[35] Overall, there were 1,078,168 apprehensions made in the first year of Operation Wetback, with 170,000 being captured from May to July 1954.[36] The total number of apprehensions would fall to just 242,608 in 1955, and would continuously decline by year until 1962, when there was a slight rise in apprehended workers.[37] During the entirety of the Operation, border recruitment of illegal workers by American growers continued due largely to the inexpensiveness of illegal labor and the desire of growers to avoid the bureaucratic obstacles of the Bracero program; the continuation of illegal immigration despite the efforts of Operation Wetback was largely responsible for the failure of the program.[38] Despite the decline in apprehensions, the total number of Border Patrol agents more than doubled to 1,692 by 1962, and an additional plane was also added to the force.[39] In terms of apprehensions, Operation Wetback was immediately successful. However, this success would be short lived, as the program would fail to limit the number of workers entering the United States from Mexico illegally.[40] The program would also result in a more permanent, strategic border control presence along the Mexico-United States border.[41]

I am wondering too, the contents of the article were quite a bit to get your head around, worth the read.

I am going to make a guess.

The author raped a 15 year Russian old girl and sexually harassed others in a story he wrote. This may be one of those deals where the message got killed because of the messenger. Thing is, it takes a fucktard to get in with fucktards. If you are a fellow low life, the other low lives will act naturally around you. In Hunter S. Thompsonesque fashion, you will be there to get the story.

And 15 year old girls need to be protected from fucktards, particularly when you drag them off to rape them (when they say no) after you get them drunk.

I know nothing of the story of which you speak but this girl has been failed first of all by her family.  Why was she alone with some strange man at 15 years old?  Ever.  Under any circumstances?  So there's your first problem.  Second, why was she drinking while alone with some strange man?  This indicates a poor upbringing and moral failings on her part.

Women, and especially teenage girls, are extremely stupid and vulnerable to all sorts of ploys and plots that are well known to men (about the simplest of which is getting her drunk).  It is the duty of the girl's family and especially father to protect her.

However, it seems that when a politician uses lechery and theft it doesn't bother you at all. You see there is a big difference between Trump and a politician. Politicians work in trust for the people. As a businessman, Trump does not.

I have been saying this for some time. There are other factors like business profits, but the net effect of illegal and immigrant labor will reduce prices. Used in agribusiness it reduces food cost, the price of dinner at a nyc restaurant, construction, landscaping, all of these things are cheaper as a result. But it also reduces employment of natives. It's sort of an internal version of shipping jobs overseas.

You can't offer enough welfare to pry the average person from his country of origin. However, if you bomb their infrastructure into the stone age, unleash US corporations to pillage and plunder, fund ISIS to run amok and then follow it up by relentlessly drone bombing school children, you can convince anyone to migrate.

It's time to address the "push" factors of migration instead of this monomaniacal focus on "pull." You can reduce the welfare to zero and they'll still come. Hell, you can round them up and flay them alive and they'll still come. Until we stop the destruction of other countries by the US military and corporatocracy, they're going to come.

I'm watching 2008 happen all over again, only this time it's the conservatives getting played for chumps. Just like Trump, Obama showed up on the scene in '08 with a bunch of rhetoric that we on the left wanted to hear. He never addressed any core issues, like the need to dismantle the Fed, nationalize the corporatocracy, arrest bankers, defund the DOD, etc. but he did promise to close Gitmo, end the Iraq war, heal the racial divide, restore privacy, end the police state, etc. When he got into office, he betrayed every promise and turned into GW II. All his rhetoric was pure lies. In fact, we learned that Obama could be trusted to do the exact opposite of what he'd promised. It was a painful wake up.

Guys, talk is cheap and words are free. Character is immutable and Donald's is about as bad as it gets. Donald Trump is a crony capitalist first and foremost. He declared as much in the debates. He has proven over, and over again to be an ugly, narcissistic loudmouth who will gladly crawl over a pile of corpses to put another dollar in his pocket. He has no morality and will betray anyone to further his own interests. Yes, he's saying a few things that conservatives want to hear, but his true character will triumph in the end and the result will be more of the same. He will be GW III and we will reap another harvest of ashes.

Aside from the thousands of boys raped by Catholic priests in the modern age there is a long legacy of crimes by the Catholic church.  I travel Europe extensively and I have learned much of its history.  Even today they do not shy away from showing you the torture instruments that the Catholics used against the Protestants.  Even today they do not shy away from teaching you about the hundreds of crusades launched against "pagans" in Europe by the Catholic church.  Protestants HAD to flee to America because the Catholics were literally murdering, butchering, and torturing them to death.

And today the Catholics are committed to the suicide of the white race via mass immigration, ethnic cleansing, and communism.  Even today these disgusting people follow this South American communist pope that tells them to give all their money to Africans and other "poor" people while not having any children themselves.  This gay Pope that supports gays and tells whites not to breed.  Even in Italy.  Even in Germany.  Even in the white Catholic strongholds of the world.  Poland has stopped listening to this pope entirely and is likely to break away and join the Eastern Orthodox church any time now.

Catholics are just Muslims that have forgotten how to kill.  Catholics are just Muslims that have forgotten where they came from.  Catholics are a dying religion among whites.  The sooner they are gone the better.

Many years ago, as a reporter for a national newsaper, I covered the US Catholic bishops conference -- an annual event in DC.  The hot topic was Catholics who converted to Protestant sects in South/Central America, some of whom came to the US.  They claimed that a full third of immigrants to the US were Protestants, mostly of the Pentecostal stripe with some Fundamentalists thrown in.

They also claimed, interestingly, that the Protestant converts in formerly Roman Catholic countries were more likely to understand capitalism and raise their standard of living.  It was, so to speak, "sexier" to be Protestant;a marker of success.

If correct, then about a third of the illegals/legals from Spanish/Portuguese countries are Protestant.

The US seems to have deported 1-2 million Mexicans during the Depression. Roosevelt didn´t stop state and local government deportation programs:

http://calstate.fullerton.edu/news/2005/valenciana.html

Deportations would be bad for those who get deported. The winners would probably be domestic, unskilled labour. It seems as if these people usually vote for the Democrats or don´t vote at all. So perhaps Trump can capture some votes at the expense of the Democrats by calling for deportations. The question is whether poor Hispanics with American citizenships will feel sorry for those who get deported or look forward to less competition in the labour market. I know that there is a Hispanic campaign group against illegal immigration who use the slogan “we are the victims”. But does their stance on illegal immigration reflect the attitudes among the majority of the American Hispanics?

For those bashing Trump's money, consider that the Reason he can say what he is saying is BECAUSE he can field Teams of lawyers if he wants to. You and I Daring to say we are a white Christian country, would be leveled with "hate speech" and probably arrested. The Los Angeles Times wrote an article two days ago on the tv show Fear The Walking Dead. They specifically cited the fact that Los Angles is More than 50% Mexican (not "latino" but Mexican) and more than 10% Chinese. They cited whites as "hovering" around 27%.

I was born in California, and no longer return to visit due to the hostility of the "locals," in their actions and looks towards me. I do not feel that I can eat anything served up by a Mexican. You can call that racist, or you can consider that the US is throiwng a hissy fit when Russia makes moves on "former" Russian "countries," but doesn't seem to have any problem with another country's citizens (Mexico and China) seizing OUR Country. Normally, this would be considered an act of war.

US citizens have become so stupid with their bloated bellies of fast food that their brains no longer work. Or as one guy from Texas said to me, "I don't mind the Mexicans as long as they treat me fair." Could ANYONE find for me Anywhere in the history of the world where the occupiers treat the occupied "fair" and dont' aim at their elmination?

Every war Ever fought has been fought over control of land (and its resources). The foreigners don't want "a better life," they want the life that belongs to YOUR CHILDREN. In our schools, 50% of the so-called money alloted for children is being spent on foreign translation services, special classes for foreigners, even as your children do NOT receive an education and are dropping out in massive numbers.

It was under the Clinton administration that the US Census Bureau decided that whites were "non-hispanic," effectively Eliminating and genociding that group which created this country. Think not? Then note that 92%, yes, that's 92% of those who fought and who died in WWII were white. There were virtually NO hispanics fighting in WWII, and very few blacks. But now, every white head shall bow. Immigration is Auschwitz in America.

Eisenhower did it, it was called OPERATION WETBACK, millions of Mexicans ran back to their nests in Mexico. Adios Cucarachas!

Trump has been talking to a real American, Senator Jeff Sessions,R-Alabama. Senator Sessions reminds me of the old America.

Illegal immigration is NOT the issue it is LEGAL immigration that has killed America.

Immigrant Population Hits Record 42.1 Million

The number of immigrants in the United States is now enormous, but it must be recognized that most immigrants, including those from Latin America, are in the country legally. Absent a change in legal immigration policy, the immigrant population will continue to increase.

The female serpent, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-WA, took ZUCKERBERG money, lots of it and stabbed her White voting base in the back. Just as Sen Gillibrand of NY who represented upstate won with her support of the 2nd Amendment. Well Chuck THE SCHMUCK Schumer offered her the Senate seat if she would STAB her constituents and America in the back and she LEAPED at the opportunity. We have NO FRIENDS.

No Congressional GOP Leaders Will Support Reducing Immigration

The Street Gangs More Vicious Than ISIS

One of El Salvador’s former guerrilla leaders, who years ago traded olive drab for Irish tweeds and took up residence at Oxford University, can tell you exactly why his homeland is being torn apart right now by gang violence.

He can also tell you what that means to those of us who live under the delusion that the carnage in the streets of San Salvador this month—expected to get much worse this weekend—is not just a local problem in a faraway land.
Central America’s savagery is terrorism, pure and simple, says Joaquín Villalobos, and in many respects it is more horrible than the Middle Eastern brand. “Islamic terrorism decapitates and crucifies in its territories,” says Villalobos in a column for the Madrid daily El País. “In Latin America the criminals hang, decapitate, burn, chop up, and play soccer with the heads of their victims. In both cases terrorism is the method used to maintain authority.”

And Central America’s brand of terror is just around the corner from communities all over the United States, whether in the barrios of Los Angeles or at a derelict shopping mall next to a posh neighborhood on Long Island, as chronicled by Sarah Garland in her 2009 book The Gangs in Garden City.

The Salvadoran pandillas or maras, as the gangs are called, are in Washington State and in suburban Maryland on the fringes of Washington, D.C. Indeed, the FBI’s “National Gang Report—2013” (PDF), the most recent that’s been published, shows the two main Salvadoran groups, MS-13 and Barrio 18, are in just about every corner of this country. And, like other gangs, according to the FBI, they have infiltrated the U.S. military to get training and expand their influence. The feds also say that gang members show up on college campuses.

In fact, the Salvadoran gangs have roots almost as deep in the United States as they do in El Salvador itself. They started to grow in the 1980s, as hundreds of thousands of Salvadorans fled the civil war there, arriving in the U.S. to live, often without documents, on the margins of society. An estimated 40 percent of the population eventually “went north,” legally or illegally, to live and work. Central America’s brand of terror is just around the corner from communities all over the United States.

Since whites are being attacked as a race, we have no other choice but to defend ourselves as Whites. .gov discriminates against us, private businesses discriminate against us, the mainstream media conducts mind-warfare against us, and people of color are SLAUGHTERING White men, women and children DAILY, with liberal doses of rape and torture as well.

There is one partcular group in society that actually encorages and is perhaps behind this mass of different people crossing borders and oceans all over the world. The fragmentation of each nation not only undermines sovereignty but also secures their existing control as well as turning the whole of each country into minorities without a common vision.

In fact, has anyone identified any nation exposed to large illegal immigration as having any real vision for their nation? Of course not. The national agenda is drowned by a host of side shows from gay marriage to Kim Kardashian. These side shows will always be around but for crying out loud, they should be way down the list.

After all, does anyone think that there will ever be a Mexican who will become Chairman of the FED?

...but they followed the LAWS and jumped through the hoops to be here LEGALLY you fuckin LIBtard!

Liberals/commies truly ARE retarded. They do not even understand a the simple definition of that "legal" means vs "ILLEGAL"

...even further beyond their grasp of reality are the implications of illegals. High crime rate, unvillingness to integrate into society, diseases never seen here before....

Libtards are the functional retards the PTB refers to as "useful idiots" (Fact)

Wonder if Trump even understands the economic implications of this stated policy in the least.

Do it, you self-centered moronic prick! And watch every business that is based on exploitation of those same immigrants fold like a cheap card table!

good!

here is something you and most of the idiots on the internet do not understand--DEMAND creates jobs....NOT businesses...businesses merely EXPLOIT demand...if trump does kick out the illegals, yes, a lot of businesses will collapse...so what? DEMAND will still create jobs....and those new businesses will have to pay a living wage...

LOGIC...it's my RELIGION...and you? You are domesticated livestock...

I made no judgement about whether said exploitation is bad or good (personally, I'd have jailed the people employing them long ago...the only way to stop immigration if you really want to), but the facts on the ground are that those businesses will fail. Your creative destruction may be great in the long-term, but the ripples in the rest of the economy in the short-term will not be popular (after those business go, so do the banks giving them loans, the RE sector in their town, etc).

So go ahead and try to deport millions of people at taxpayer expense and build a wall at taxpayer expense in the name of protecting you from competition from immigrant labor because you're opposed to statist inverventions (HAHAHA).

Logic: not yer strong suit, slick.

Asking the Federal government to enforce the immigrations laws hardly qualifies as statist intervention. That's like saying enforcing laws against child molestation is statist intervention.

Logic definitely isn't your strong suit.

Everybody knows, deep down inside, you want an idiot for President. A figurehead, who "speaks well".
Or at least is beholden and willing to be manipulated.

Give that power to a guy that knows how to get things done. Uh oh!

Barrack Obama. Even his name is a fucking joke. A more useless p o s has never graced the halls. Now, anybody thinks they have a chance. A field of 17.

If The email thing gets traction, and Cankles falters, Dems will come out of the woodwork.

America, where anyone can grow up to be President. I used to not believe it.

Easy as piss!  Just put a 'bounty' on them, or a refund like on an empty can, or gopher feet...lets say 5k/Illegal...call it the CAMP program, (Catch A Mexican Program) open and available to all US citizens...just catch an illegal, haul them in and redeem them at your local Walmart...fun, great excersize, good pay for the unemployed, there would not be an illegal around in a fortnight...

Walmart could ship containers full off to China on the emptys going there anyway...they are the logistics experts after all...No Recidivism that way, Hows a Mexican gonna return here from China?  Plus, a container of middle aged salt cured Mexicans has got to be better eating than half the shit the Chinese gobble up anyway, sure, its stringy and greasy, especially a Guatamalan, but what the hell?  Thats marketings job, call it "General Chows Spickan" slow roasted and on a stick with a complementary sombrero for a napkin...goddamn, this is not rocket science...

Remind:  If you grab a "legal" while rounding up illegals, it is 10-20 years for kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment.

Plus, you KNOW that some of the coyotes running immigrants will start pulling scams where they import the illegals just to hand them over for the bounty.  When government hands out a lot of money, nothing good happens.
