Saudis Mull Launch Of Regional War As Russia Pounds Targets In Syria For Fourth Day

Tyler Durden's picture

While the US has certainly made some epic strategic blunders in Syria that raise serious questions about just how “intelligent” US intelligence actually is, there’s little doubt that if one were to look behind all of the media parroting, the Pentagon and Langley understand all too well what’s going on in the Middle East.

That is, the significance of the Russia-Iran “nexus” in Syria isn’t lost on anyone in the US military and you can bet there have been quite a few high level discussions over the past 72 hours about the best way to counter Moscow and Tehran’s powerplay before it spills over into Iraq and ends up degrading Washington’s influence in Baghdad.

As we put it on Friday, “if Russia ends up bolstering Iran's position in Syria (by expanding Hezbollah's influence and capabilities) and if the Russian air force effectively takes control of Iraq thus allowing Iran to exert a greater influence over the government in Baghdad, the fragile balance of power that has existed in the region will be turned on its head and in the event this plays out, one should not expect Washington, Riyadh, Jerusalem, and London to simply go gentle into that good night.”

Sure enough, some experts now predict Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey will move to counter Russia militarily if Moscow continues to rack up gains for Assad. Here’s The Guardian with more:

Regional powers have quietly, but effectively, channelled funds, weapons and other support to rebel groups making the biggest inroads against the forces from Damascus. In doing so, they are investing heavily in a conflict which they see as part of a wider regional struggle for influence with bitter rival Iran.

In a week when Russia made dozens of bombing raids, those countries have made it clear that they remain at least as committed to removing Assad as Moscow is to preserving him.

“There is no future for Assad in Syria,” Saudi foreign minister Adel Al-Jubeir warned, a few hours before the first Russian bombing sorties began. If that was not blunt enough, he spelled out that if the president did not step down as part of a political transition, his country would embrace a military option, “which also would end with the removal of Bashar al-Assad from power”. With at least 39 civilians reported dead in the first bombing raids, the prospect of an escalation between backers of Assad and his opponents is likely to spell more misery for ordinary Syrians.

“The Russian intervention is a massive setback for those states backing the opposition, particularly within the region – Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey – and is likely to elicit a strong response in terms of a counter-escalation,” said Julien Barnes-Dacey, senior policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations.

As the Syrian civil war has unfolded, Saudi Arabia has been clear about its position, say analysts. “Since the beginning of the uprising in Syria, the view in Riyadh has been that Bashar al-Assad must go. There is no indication what-soever that Riyadh will change this position,” said Mohammed Alyahya, associate fellow at the King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies in Riyadh.

“What is clear to Riyadh and its regional allies is that the recent Russian and Iranian escalation will only create a more unstable region and spill more blood,” he said.

Riyadh has focused support on rebels in the south, say analysts, while allies Turkey and Qatar have reportedly backed northern rebels, including conservative Islamist militias such as Ahrar al Sham.

That group, in alliance with the al-Qaida affiliate Jabhat al Nusra, recently reached a local ceasefire deal with Assad in the north. Its success in taking on government forces is thought to have been one trigger for the Russian bombing campaign and put them among the jets’ first targets.

“Most probably, the coming efforts will focus on boosting the effectiveness of major coalitions, co-ordination and co-operation between the most influential and effective groups in Syria,” said regional analyst Ali Bakeer.

Of course that isn’t going to work.

Say what you will about how successful guerilla/urban warfare can be when it comes to bogging down a conventional army (examples of this include Vietnam, the Soviet-Afghan war, and Somalia during the Black Hawk down debacle), but the disorganization of the Syrian resistance combined with the fact that Iran has its own well-armed militias on the ground that, in combination with Hezbollah, are providing the ground support for Russian airstrikes, means the situation is all but hopeless for the various Riyadh- and Doha-backed groups operating in Syria.

The only way to turn the tide here would be to intervene directly.

But just as Iran is unwilling to risk direct intervention on behalf of the Houthis in Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Qatar will likely be unwilling to risk direct intervention on behalf of their proxy armies in Syria. The problem for Riyadh and Doha: Syria is a lot more strategically important than Yemen. Here’s The Guardian again:

Saudi Arabia and Qatar are already embroiled in an expensive and bloody war in Yemen that may limit both their military and financial resources. They have also so far deferred to western bans on transferring hi-tech weapons – including missiles that could take down aircraft – over fears that they might change hands in the chaos of the war and be used against their makers.

“The uncertain question today is the degree of power combined with efficiency that regional powers will be willing to bring to the table,” said Barnes-Dacey. “Do the Saudis now try to take matters decisively into their hands, including by providing rebels with sophisticated weaponry long denied them?

“The new [Saudi] king [Salman] has shown a willingness to be much more assertive and take measures into the kingdom’s own hands. If the Saudis see the situation slipping out of their hands, and there is a real sense that the Iranians are consolidating their position in Syria, you could see much stronger response.”

And speaking of a “strong response,” Russia continued to hit anti-regime targets for a fourth consecutive day on Sunday, making good on the Defense Ministry’s promise to step up strikes. Here’s Reuters:

Air strikes by suspected Russian jets hit targets around the town of Talbiseh in western Syria on Sunday, residents and a group which monitors the civil war in Syria said, a day after Russia promised to step up its air campaign.

Ambulances rushed wounded people to hospital in Talbiseh, north of the city of Homs, and one resident said at least five bodies had been recovered from the western part of the town.

"So far there are seven or six raids in the town," said Abdul Ghafar al Dweik, a former government employee and volunteer rescue worker.

He said he believed the raid was carried out by Russian jets. "They come suddenly... With the Syrian planes, we would get a warning but now all of a sudden we see it over our heads," he said.

We have said time and again that there’s no question Russian airstrikes will contribute to human suffering in Syria. After all, when you drop bombs on populated areas you’re bound to kill civilians (including women and children) no matter what Moscow says. However, the highlighted passages above shouldn’t come as a surprise. If you want your airstrikes to be effective, you’re not going to warn anyone about them beforehand unless of course you're dropping a nuke in which case you can tell civilians to leave ahead of time because you're reasonably sure the destruction will be so vast as to make the element of surprise a non-factor.

As for the effectiveness of the strikes, The Kremlin is out again claiming that ISIS is on its heels. Via Bloomberg and the Russian Defense Ministry (translated):

  • Russian warplanes have made 20 sorties, attacked 10 ISIS targets in Syria in past 24h, Russian Defense Ministry says on website.
  • Air force has attacked militant training camps in Raqqa, Idlib provinces; destroyed explosives workshop
  • Warplanes destroyed at least 4 ammunition depots, several command posts
  • Russian forces have broken “the management and logistics of the terrorist organization” and caused “significant damage to the infrastructure used for preparation of terrorist attacks”

And here's David Cameron repeating the Assad "butcher" accustations (again, via Bloomberg):

Russia is “backing the butcher Assad, which is a terrible mistake for them and for the world,” Cameron told BBC Television’s “Andrew Marr Show” on Sunday. “It’s going to make the region more unstable, which will lead to further radicalization and increased terrorism.”

Cameron continued: “I would say to them change direction, join us in attacking ISIL but recognize that if we want to have a secure region we need an alternative to Assad,” using an alternative designation for Islamic State. Assad “can’t unite the Syrian people.”

Yes, Assad "can't unite the Syrian people", because clearly that's what this is all about, which explains why the West has been doing anything and everything to promote disunity among Syrians for the better part of a decade, and on that note, we close with the following excerpt from a leaked diplomatic cable penned by then-Deputy Head of Mission in Syria William Roebuck in 2006 which shows just how concerned the West is with Syrian "unity":

-- PLAY ON SUNNI FEARS OF IRANIAN INFLUENCE:  There are fears in Syria that the Iranians are active in both Shia proselytizing and conversion of, mostly poor, Sunnis.  Though often exaggerated, such fears reflect an element of the Sunni community in Syria that is increasingly upset by and focused on the spread of Iranian influence in their country through activities ranging from mosque construction to business. Both the local Egyptian and Saudi missions here, (as well as prominent Syrian Sunni religious leaders), are giving increasing attention to the matter and we should coordinate more closely with their governments on ways to better publicize and focus regional attention on the issue.

Good point. Actually years ago I was active on a Swedish discussion board with many broad topics. Geo-politics was my favorite topic and I had some heavy debates with the Israeli crowd. After they failed to really defeat my arguments, my account was suddenly nuked out of no where. It actually took several days and some major changes like email server to register, and changing an IPO, before I could come back on under a new name. I hand it to the jews, they know their computers, they did an excellent job in shutting me up for nearly a week.! And I know which one did it too, he was so transparent in his switch to personal attack versus any real debate.

If you are attacked in your person, you can assume they are unable to defeat your ideas and facts.

Trolling is well know to be the venue for personal attacks. A troll will seek to discredit your person in hopes people will give less credit to your ideas.

It simply is amazing how few people can use google, use translation services or speak foreign languages, I never post anything that doesn't have a source. I refuse to post sources and mine are mostly public, or personal, and I am not going to hand out a name and email of someone in Moscow right here on ZH. That is simply stupid.

West Knowingly Violated International Law by Starting Airstrikes in Syria

Russia, unlike Western countries that use the pretext of fighting terrorism to interfere in Syria without a proper UN mandate, started its airstrikes on ISIL targets in Syria at the request of President Bashar al-Assad. Moscow acts on the request from Damascus and doesn't seek to impose its own political system or a new leader on the Syrian nation. The future of Syrian leadership should be resolved without outside interference, Shestakov said, citing the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

What seems obvious is retrospect is that Reagan bankrupted the USSR while laying the same trap for the US; who could bankrupt who first?

Afterwards, the Neo-Cons, having abandoned the UK after WW2 set up shop in the US.

They were able to pursue their desire to crush Russia from America.

This seems to be the basis of the current world conflict.

Russia has stood for national self-determination. The Zionist (not Jewish) cabal has pursued a Globalist 1-World outcome.

Who will rid America of these Troublesome Priests?

'Is it possible, is it even conceivable that the Jews, by sheer weight of their influence alone, could unleash a world war? It is probably unbelievable, and yet this is exactly what has happened three times in the course of the last half century, in 1900, with the Transvaal war, in 1917, with the entrance of the Americans into the war on the side of the Allies, and in 1939, with the commencement of the Second World War.

In this chapter I am simply going to deal with the case of the entry of the United States into the First World War in 1917 on the side of the Allies, and I will show that this contention rests on solid proof.'

"actually they went in shadow of the transports"

We know that after the fact. Even the Israelis didn't detect what was happening in spite of extensive use of their AWACS-lite aircraft maing multiple flights of the coast of Syria.. That issue was also aided by Bulgaria prohibiting flights through their airspace. If that route had been used, rather than the subsequent overland route, the Israelis would have seen what was happening. A nice piece of blowback.

They do have this material though ...

Interview with Bashar al-Assad
http://tass.ru/en/world/826106

When asked by an Iranian correspondent why the anti-terrorist efforts of the Western coalition were to no avail, Assad drew a parallel, saying that a thief could never be a police hand [aide]. He said the alliance supporting terrorism can never succeed in exterminating it. "After several months of bombardments by the Western coalition, we saw no results, moreover, the result was just the opposite - the geography of terrorism has only expanded and the number of people who joined terrorists was only growing," he said.

Gunmen start withdrawing forces from Syria’s Idlib amid Russian airstrikes
http://tass.ru/en/world/826078

Gunmen from the Jaish al-Fath coalition of extremist groups are pulling out their forces from Idlib and other towns in northwestern Syria, a Lebanese newspaper has reported.

The radicals started moving towards the Turkish border on Saturday after having experienced "the efficiency of the Russian aerospace forces’ strikes," the As-Safir Arabic-language daily reported.

Saudi Arabia wont do anything other than try to arm and fund more terrorists.  They know they cant do jack directly as evident by their significant lackluster performance in Yemen.  Bad enough when 3 Saudi Generals are dead.  Now add in the fact that houthi's with assistance from former Yemen army are striking Saudi's within Saudi Arabian territory, proves the gross incompetence of the Saudi's.  Although, nothing makes me smile more than to see destroyed Saudi military equipment (no, I do not smile upon seeing dead people, just the destroyed equipment with no dead people), as it is a good wake up call to everyone and even the idiotic americans who praise their military equipment all the time.

Turkey wont do jack either as there is a huge political issue ongoing in Turkey as it is, and Turkey is now relying on investments to and from Russia in order to make itself grow.  And they have their own issues on their own hands as well.

Thanks for the links.  The Liberty Unyielding website appears to be run by Christian Zionists and their Tribal handlers, but I very much enjoyed the sense of of confusion and dread that Russia is giving them.  The writer keeps yapping on about how Israel's window to attack Iran is closing soon.  In reality, it is already closed, despite the writer's insane suggestion that Israel will attempt to nuke Iran now that it has lost conventional air impunity in the region.  Any nuclear attack on Iran will quickly lead to the final holocaust that the Zionists fantasize about in their suicidal self-loathing.  Masada is deep in the Jewish psyche, and I suspect they are seeking to write a new tragedy to make their surviving remnant feel special for another century.

The long term strategic play for Russia might be to depose the US from any influence in the ME. If they can consolidate the Shia positions in Iraq / Syria. They can as power brokers offer an alternative to the Sunni's in KSA & the gulf states to be the mediator between the factions. They essentially become the Mafia Don of the ME. Each side would go to Moscow to air grievances, arbitrate and seek protection from the other. In return, Moscow would extract favors in the form of no bid contracts for oil, gas & defense. Dictate terms to OPEC and other cartels on the flow of oil / gas and perhaps most critically eliminate the US petrodollar once and for all. Not saying the above will happen but there may be opportunity depending on how badly this goes for KSA.

I really believe that the Saud are being attacked just as Assad is being attacked. They are only being attacked in different ways.

Assad is being attacked by Israel, the United States Government (not people) and Saudi Arabia funding and arming mercenary armies to attack Assad.

Saudi Arabia is being attacked through Yemen, oil prices, and their mercenary proxy war. If the US stock market hits the shitter and bonds hit the shitter, the Saud will be in a massive world of hurt and will be a slave state to the banks.

The Brookings Institutute paper "Which path to Persia" had two routes, through Syria and through Saudi Arabia. With the Russians backing Syria, who is in the gun sights now?

... and no one likes the Saud, ESPECIALLY the Saudi people. The Saud cut off their own people's heads because they are afraid and their ego cannot handle criticism.

Haha, Saudis consider Giant War Plan.

They cannot fight their way out of a paper bag.

The Axis of Evil has decided to allow Islamic Terrists to try and assault Russia.

This must be stopped.

(Axis of Evil: US, City of London, Tel Aviv).

Last time I read the UN Charter, all nations have sovereignty and the right to self-detremination and live in Peace and make money. Russia, China, Iran, the SCO all agree.

There must be NO unipolar world government. It betrays the Faith of Peoples and their Nations.

The Globalists must be stopped. End of Story.

Every major media outlet in the US is viciously, genocidally stealth-racist against Arabs and Muslims, far more than Eustace Mullins was ever racist against Jews. (The official story of 9/11, for example, plays on the ludicrous phantasm of vicious Arab Muslims slicing passengers’ throats with box cutters and smashing planes into buildings – an image carefully designed by psy-ops experts to reinforce racist tropes about Arabs and Muslims, an image that has nothing to do with reality, least of all the reality of the 9/11 false-flag attack.)

2 + 2 = 5?  6?  7?  Sometimes, in some ways.  I wonder whether anyone else has considered the following "totally insane conspiracy theory"?

What current events may be leading to is... a collaboration of Russia, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.  Did I include Saudi Arabia in that list?  Yes, which makes sense when you consider where this crazy conspiracy theory is headed.

And where is that?  To a substantial cutback in oil production, with the goal to raise oil prices enough to heal the economic problems in Russia, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.  Ally these oil producers together in what might start as a "limited purpose" collaboration to cut oil production and thus substantially boost prices and revenues.

Sometimes serious financial woes can create strange bedfellows.  These oil producers are hurting from low oil prices, and in some cases, absurd, predatory, egregious, unjustified western sanctions (not to mention enormous damage from years of USSA and NATO initiated war in the case of Iraq).  And they can see the entire world economy is headed into massive depression, which will reduce prices and revenues much further absent some counter-force.  The counter-force I envision as possible... and possibly already arranged in advance by the players I mentioned... is this energy alliance composed of OPEC and other energy producers.

So perhaps late this year, or early next year, the events we see playing out now may evolve into this strange energy alliance (plus add a few more minor players in the middle-east and elsewhere (like Venezuela)).

This would never have happened if the insane, craven, diabolical, predatory neo-con-jobs hadn't mistreated so many "governments", "nations" and human beings.  But they did.  And people everywhere are way beyond damn tired of the big bad bully at this point in history.  Being up against what appears to be the worst depression in modern history (caused by never-before seen levels of global debt and central-bank fiat insanity), the time may have come for abused and bullied nations to band together to defend themselves against the neo-con-jobs, who like more like a great satan than any other modern human predators.

Yes, I know this "conspiracy theory" sounds like a stretch.  But when you look below the surface level... at what really matters to the various nations involved... it makes a lot of sense.  Ask yourself this, for example.  If you asked the various factions in the middle-east the following question, what would they answer:  who is worse, the USSA or your mid-east adversaries?  Now that the USSA has been forced to clearly reveal and even openly admit what some of us have known for decades... that the USSA is by far the largest sponsor and supporter of terrorism and terrorist organizations, and aggressively interferes in nations all over the planet... why should less fundamental rivals not [temporarily] put aside their long-standing but less fundamental gripes, and collaborate to protect themselves from the real danger... the danger that will clearly never stop until they are all destroyed or placed into stone age conditions?

What is going on now smells to me like the setup for something like what I describe above.  Maybe I don't have it figured out exactly, but... I smell a setup for something at least somewhat like what I describe.

Disclaimer:  I am very much not an expert in mid-east dynamics.  But I am very good as detecting subtle patterns when few others can.  So take this message with as many shakers of salt as you deem appropriate.  But think about it.  Can't you sense something beneath the surface of current events?  I do.

Also factor in "self-preservation instinct" that "leaders" of many fictional "nations" in the mid-east may have now and going forward.

How long can they keep their heads (literally) while selling oil for less than it costs to produce?

The biggest danger to those "leaders" who make decisions may soon become their own people, not "old ememies", and the way out of that danger is to substantiall boost the price of oil.  Of course, that will absolutely destroy the world economy, which is already headed into terminal depression, so the boost in oil prices may not last very long.  But as we've seen again and again, the predators-that-be will do just about anything to kick the can down the road... even if just a little ways.

Speaking of 2006, there was a series of interviews with Christopher Jon Bjerknes, a historian/researcher on Daryl Bradford Smith's podcast titled The French Connection.

In these interviews, discussing the ongoing 2006 Lebanon War and explaining situations in terms of the zionist conspiracy, Bjerknes kind of predicted the following:
- escalation/ruination of Syria, Libya
- Saudi-Arabia (things might be heating up there as well, it seems)
- the key role Turkey will play
- escalation between Sunnis and Shiite
- "provoking the battle between Gog and Magog" (now who are they, now we have also Russia involved)
- "opposition of their Messiah coming out of Damascus"
- a false flag operation in Paris

These in 2006, based on research of history from the zionist domination angle and following the zionist gameplan.

I want to present you guys with a theory, that i have seen in a couple comments on various sites. Obama is really working with Russia (not fully) OR  Obama is trying to keep the neoocons at bay by degrading US global influence.  Is Obama is the proverbial fly in the NEOCON ointment?

Lets  explain the points which make up this theory

1) Obama allowed Iran to get 150billion dollars which would most likely be used to buy weapons and equipment and bolster their army

2) Obama allowed ISIS to flourish but didnt exactly do anything to stop them either

3) Obama allowed IRAQ to be become a IRAN satellite state

4) Its no secret Obamas dislike of NETENYAHU

5) Obama has repeated refused to allow "the rebels" to get advanced weapons

6) Under Obama China and Russia have essentially pushed them to become best buds

summation:Sure you could say its incompetence,  when you sum up the point, you can see that if IRAN is allowed to have a large treasury of funds and has IRAQ as a client state then it could go into IRAQ and SYRIA (with the aid of RUSSIA, backed by CHINA) to essentially take over the middle east. This alliance of two vast land masses and military powers has basicallly put a block on NEOCON power.

I would also add, Obama wants to degrade US global influence because he wants USA to be more like EUROPE, isolationist in foreign policy but socialist internal policies.

I am not an Obamite but id like to hear your view on my theory thanks

I think Obama made the deal with Iran because NETENYAHU is a piece of shit and has lied repeatedly about peace in Israel.

Its obvious that Israel plan is to drive all the Palestinians out at any cost.

I have been thinking similar thoughts for some time now.  None of this adds up, even if we factor in pure incompetence.  The one thesis that puts all the pieces together is that Obama was selected by the anti-Neocon faction inside the DC civil war, and that he has been setting the Neocons up to be checkmated by Russia, China and Iran.  If that is the case, he would indeed be a Manchurian Candidate, but one set up by the loyalists inside the system that want to save the country from the Zionists.  Obama's been playing along in public with most of their shenaningans to keep from being JFK'ed, but he has been secretly fighting the monster from the shadows.

I would love to believe that was true.  That would give me hope that there is indeed an active resistance inside the system to the cabal, one that is smart enough to use their game against them.

I also think the strategy under way includes the Syrians leaving to prevent collateral damage to their young people, there are all men because the women and children we sent to live with relatives until the dirty deed is complete (Isolating and neutralizing the zombies) and that is to keep them from being exposed to radiation (fertility issue).  The removal of seeds from the vault by Syrians is part of reason I believe this may very well be the case.

An interesting theory. But it credits Obola with far more savvy and intel for complex strategic planning than he has.

IMO it's just as likely that Obama is pursuing a personal "save my own skin" strategy to delay and avoid taking major decisions which would lead to a wider global war or WWIII on his watch. He can then his term without being assassinated and without dealing with the huge mess that's been created by US neo-con foreign policy, the CIA, NATO and the Pentagon etc.

As we put it on Friday, “if Russia ends up bolstering Iran's position in Syria (by expanding Hezbollah's influence and capabilities) and if the Russian air force effectively takes control of Iraq thus allowing Iran to exert a greater influence over the government in Baghdad, the fragile balance of power that has existed in the region will be turned on its head and in the event this plays out, one should not expect Washington, Riyadh, Jerusalem, and London to simply go gentle into that good night.”

blah-blah *coup* blah-blah ... whatever ... delusions

Lavrov said days ago:

"We are not planning to expand our airstrikes to Iraq," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a UN press conference. "We were not invited, we were not asked, and we are polite people, as you know. We don't come if not invited." (Al Bawaba/File)

http://www.albawaba.com/news/russia-fm-no-plans-extend-strikes-iraq-749914

Seriously Tyler, do you have no sense of proportion any more, or are you just pimping a pro-Moscow slant, even though it actually goes against what Moscow stated already?

Syria is a big place, it still holds about 15 million people, and a significant number of which are armed fighters. The Russians have a tiny air contingent, at just one base, using crappy old iron-bombs, and used mostly on rural buildings and fields thus far in the videos.

So if you think that's going to sweep all before it, sorry, you're actually delusional.

The Russians are only doing exactly what the Syrian air force has been doing for about four years already. More of the same approach, and probably not even more effective than the Syrians were at it. At best they can buy some time, and hold the line to prevent the collapse of the state, maybe.

It remains to be seen what occurs on the ground.

The Syrian army were competent and combat proficient and still are, and were well-armed, but they still got hammered by endless rebel attacks and resistance. And now ISIS is coming in to attack them as well, as the FSA is displaced.

So this is not going to end quickly, and in all likelihood it will be so expensive and blood-drenched, for Russia and Iran that it will probably drag on for years from here.

Why do you think the pootie said last week there will be not Russian ground combat forces?

It's the same reason the Russians and Chinese didn't fight on the ground in North Vietnam, they already had a proxy to do the dying, and today the proxies dying are Syria, and now Iranians. Not to mention the cost of such a war.

So this is going to go on for years, as such a tiny force of aircraft is not going to produce any sudden total collapse of both the FSA, and of ISIS.

If FSA attrites away ISIS will just move further west to take their place in the cites and will be much closer to the Russian airbase and they'll bring up mortars and rocket artillery with suicide bombers and sniper support, and make life hell for the Russians and defenders at that airfield. They'll be much more aggressive and determined than the FSA were.

But you seem to believe this will all somehow become a glorious one way street to spiral rapid and certain 'final victory' of the mighty slavic empire? Well the truth is the Russians may be lucky if they can survive at that airbase.

Or do you need reminding that in Afghanistan the mighty Russian military 'juggernaut' had deployed in vastly greater numbers, with large numbers of actual ground troops, armor, helicopters and jets? And some of the very same jet types and using the very same bomb types!

But got totally slaughtered?

But this time is different, the magic *coup* will transform the region before the careering juggernaut of Su25s with rockets and iron bombs!

In your dreams maybe.

Cameron is naught but a Zionist pig, who defiles pigs. The Zionists will soon defile him, and all their gutless NWO pawns. Then the depraved Zionists will ALL go because Reptillians truly despise them ALL.  Now it wiil  be the turn of the Reptillians who worship satan, who's power is totally useless against the power of God.  And so it is. So be it.

Israel wants what you've got.  Your oil.  Your water.  Your treasury.  Your military hardware.  And Israel will take what it wants using force while portraying itself as a victim.

It's way past time for the US to cut Israel loose and let it sink or swim on its own.
