New Poll Shows Carson Overtaking Trump In National Poll
The mainstream media is cock-a-hoop after CNBC-parent NBC and Rupert Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal reveal a new national poll that shows notjust Trump being beaten in 2nd place by Ben Carson (who is currently on a book tour) but also shows Marco Rubio surging (from 4% to 11%) if one wanted to spin it that way. Softly-spoken Carson, with 29% of the GOP primary voters polled, is ahead of Trump (23%) for the first time in the campaign, tripling his support since July (and as WSJ reports is the first Republican to top 50% when voters 2nd and 3rd choice are combined). On the other side of the scale, Bush's support is collapsing as Cruz and Rubio accelerate.
Carson tops Trump for the first time nationally..
But a Monmouth University poll of New Hampshire Republican voters released Monday found that Trump -- while off the lead nationally -- is still the front-runner in that key early voting state, with 26% support to Carson's 16%, with Rubio in third at 13%.
Either way, Bush is collapsing...
On the Democratic side, Clinton holds a 2-to-1 advantage over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, 62 percent to 31 percent, while former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley took in just 3 percent.
Finally we noted that The NBC/WSJ poll was completed Thursday evening… But they waited 4 days to announce it... one wonders why.

"Asked on ABC News what Carson would do about the escalating conflict in Syria, the retired neurosurgeon said that he would turn his attention to Putin and Iran, the "forces that are propping up the Assad regime."
"Look where most of the refugees are, at the Turkey-Syrian border. I think we should establish a no fly zone there and we should enforce it," Carson said in the televised interview. "We should be doing this in communication with Putin to try and decrease the likelihood of conflict and keeping the forces apart. But also we need to be opposing him in other parts of the world".

When it comes to Russia's encroachment into eastern Europe, Carson said he wants to "keep [Putin] on the run" by arming Ukraine.
"We need to give Ukraine offensive weapons," Carson said. "We need to reestablish a missile defense system in the eastern bloc of countries so that we oppose him. Let's keep him on the run, we need to recognize that, you know, his fuel is oil. And we need to do everything we can to develop our energy resources at an economical rate so that we keep the oil prices down, which keeps him in his little box."
The polls are what they report. They ask the right people the right way and get any result they want. They lie about everything else and you believe this?

Its arguable that Trump is seeking larger changes to both taxes and to our economy. Its due to these larger changes it becomes more critical to see more detail, yet he has continued to be vague. Its with this that his support is starting to fade. His support can only survive on a diet of superlatives and chest beating for so long. IMHO, he can only regain his momentum by releasing enough detail to his plans to reestablish himself as a credible candidate.

It wasn't like that in the beginning but that's how it is now.
