Declassified U.S. Government Report on Fukushima: “100% of The Total Spent Fuel Was Released to the Atmosphere from Unit 4”

George Washington's picture

We reported in 2011 that the International Atomic Energy Commission knew within weeks that Fukushima had melted down … but failed and refused to tell the public.

The same year, we reported in 2011 that the U.S. knew within days of the Fukushima accident that Fukushima had melted down … but failed to tell the public.

We noted in 2012:

The fuel pools and rods at Fukushima appear to have “boiled”, caught fire and/or exploded soon after the earthquake knocked out power systems. See this, this, this, this and this.

Now, a declassified report written by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on March 18, 2011 – one week after the tidal wave hit Fukushima – states:

The source term provided to NARAC was: (1) 25% of the total fuel in unit 2 released to the atmosphere, (2) 50% of the total spent fuel from unit 3 was released to the atmosphere, and (3) 100% of the total spent fuel was released to the atmosphere from unit 4.

FukushimaNARAC is the the U.S. National Atmospheric Release Advisory Center, located at the University of California’s Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. NARAC “provides tools and services that map the probable spread of hazardous material accidentally or intentionally released into the atmosphere“.

The fuel pools at Units 3 and 4 contained enormous amounts of radiation.

For example, there was “more cesium in that [Unit 4] fuel pool than in all 800 nuclear bombs exploded above ground.”

Uh, "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY" is not a classification; it is a handling caveat.

Technically it is a "classification" but FOUO doesn't mean much.  The location of the dining facility and the commissary is probably FOUO.

"Technically," FOUO is not a classification.  There are only 3 classifications, confidential, secret and top secret.  FOUO merely concerns automatic release under the Freedom of Information Act.

They could've closed the "nuclear loop" with breeder reactors but Jimmy Carter fucked it up. Now we have umpteen tons of not-so-spent material in "swimming pools" in US of A and no way to get rid of it. Way to go Jimmy, you fucking Trilateralist asshole!

thanks for the prompt to investigate what breeder reactor actually means vs. nuclear waste.  apparently it is a far safer technology on that dimension.

Friend of mine was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer 4 weeks ago. Spots on her lungs, lesions on her liver, possibly in her pancreas and gall bladder. Docs still don't know what kind it is, and are transferring her to City of Hope.

She's married, has a 5-year old little boy, school teacher. Works out regularly, cooks at home using organic and other clean-sourced and home-grown foods, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, no genetic history of cancer in the family. Smoking-hot lady, truly beautiful, great personality, great wife, great mom. She's been like a sister to me for nigh unto 20 years.

Just got sick all of a sudden, docs say she hasn't got long. Maybe a year or two. None of us can believe this is really happening.

Then I read this story...

I remembered reading your comment this morning (and to the other poster who's wife died young - my condolences).  Tonight I'm surfing the interwebs and found some Fleetwood Mac videos from earlier this year.  Jeez - Stevie Nicks is approaching 70 and besides being a little stout, still looks good.  That after years of hoovering cocaine, pain killers, alcohol, etc.

Yes, there may be a genetic predisposition, but I'm leaning to something that the vaccines we had to take as kids that turns on cancer later in life, esp. in women rather than radiation.

Hey Lost, sounds like my wife a few year later: Works out, organic and home grown stuff, not smoking, one glass of red wine at night max, no cancer in the family - lost her last February after a 12 year battle with NHL. We were out in the woods in Northern CA, clean air, clean water.

WTF.

If / when I get cancer, I will not settle for what doctors tell me. They have already fallen short of their promise. I would persue every avenue, starting with nature.

Everyone should at least be aware of these alternate cures.

Big pharmas motives: https://youtu.be/1g4FlTsbze0

Vitamin B17 cure: https://youtu.be/WvKQrATZ6bU

Tea of Essiac cures: https://youtu.be/Z4VKbb0pi24

DCA cure : https://youtu.be/8nTg53izwpE

Any tips on cancer PREVENTION ??

Much appreciated,

A low carb diet with vitamin B17 food is the natural way. Breads made with millet instead of wheat for starters. Flax and millet contain a decent amount of B17 for preventive purposes. Millet is also lower in gluten and carbohydrates. Peach and apricot seeds are richer, but less practical to build a diet around. Curcumen (Tumeric) helps with cancer prevention and all inflamations too. (as emersonreturns mentioned)

Cancer desperately needs blood sugar and in fact one of the natural cures involves eliminating carbohydrates, usually combined with other treatments. "Light chemotherapy" works that way as the cancerous cells are starved for blood sugar and absorb chemo so efficiently, often only 10% chemo is needed. This is big. Chemo is poison. Avoid if possible.

Millet used to be the main staple of grains until varieties of wheat became more efficient, and gradually dominated the grain market. It is impossible to prove causality, but clearly as we changed our diet in the last 100 years, cancer has increased.

The problem with random spots of cancer is it may have bio accumulated. I am not a doctor but you may have to cut out a tiny spot if you can locate it.

"Imaging my anger when I see advertising for cancer research. "

Research? Usually the ads I see and hear and read are for treatment not research. There's no money in a cure, so the pink ribbon hypocrites raise money for pills and comfort rather than a cure. If I see a pink ribbon on something, I won't buy it.

Sometimes they say research and treatment but it ain't 50/50. More like 5%/95%.

I just lost an old friend to cancer. Told him he had a month, died that night.

Miss ya' Dave.

Sympathies and condolences to all who have lost someone dear.

It's all research into chemo, radiation 'therapy' or operations - NEVER anything else (like RSO).  Not only will I never give 'cancer researchers' any money - I also know better than to bother talking to their doctors as well.  Their tests for cancer themselves cause cancer!

And when someone being that is treated under chemo dies, what does the death certificate state: died of cancer (no one ever dies of chemo- LIARS!).

And this Company that was integrally involved with that outcome probably helped outgoing Cass Sunstein at the White House office of Information and Regulatory Affairs furnish that first "sound bite" to Ann Coulter spinning that one as a "trial baloon"...

And why not?....

If you can cover up the U.S.S. Liberty and 9/11 and God knows how many pretext(s) in between that GW has elaborated on too many occassions to count... What's 800 nuclear bomb equivalent(s) anyway?!!!...
