C-Section Awakenings

Speaking from painful experience, the deeper the conditioning the more difficult the awakening. When appraised with an open mind and a fearless self examination, there is little doubt “We the People” have been deeply conditioned……even those of us who now claim our own personal awakening. The depth of our collective conditioning is why there will be many abrupt and traumatic C-section awakenings when the world comes crashing down around us. When seen dispassionately and objectively the question is not if, but when, how fast and by how much.

When referring to a live birth, the concept of a C-section ‘birth’ has always fascinated me. Considering the act of birth has been repeated billions of times over millions of years in one form or another (and one species or another) if anything can be considered ‘natural’ this can. So to cut open a living breathing being, often while awake and fully conscious of the ongoing procedure, and then pluck one living being from another is simply mind boggling.

While some might argue not navigating the birth canal saves the newborn from physical distress, to be plucked from the comforting womb and delivered into the stark reality of ‘life’ must be its own special kind of hell. Then again, children are remarkably resilient with short memories and little conditioning and this is especially true for newborns. They were born for the travails of birth.

To be thrust into the world naked and naïve when we have not been properly readied, devoid of all the tempering trials and preparations needed to ready us, is extremely disorientating and the furthest thing from ‘natural’ one can get. Just imagine your entire world violently sliced open and you torn kicking and screaming from it. While that might be a bit of an exaggeration when speaking of ‘birth’, it is a considerable understatement when discussing the deeply conditioned mind violently ripped from the safe confines of its comforting delusions.

Consider all the difficulties many encounter while attempting to adjust to first light, that moment when it finally hits us that all is not as it seems. Since so much of the illusion is cemented into position via our perceived place within the illusion, to question the illusion means to question not just ourselves, but our ‘self’. What usually unfolds is an identity crisis quite similar to a mid-life crisis, only orders of magnitude worse because a sense of imminent danger and impending doom arises from both external and internal sources. Rarely do we experience an internally created existential crisis (i.e. a mid-life crisis) when our little corner of the world is falling down around us because the mind tends to focus on one disaster at a time. So we are inclined to naval gaze only when the mind is not preoccupied with survival.

However, when the externally imposed illusion begins to unravel our carefully integrated internal belief system (to be differentiated from an everyday ‘normal’ disaster such as job loss, divorce, car crash, illness etc which does not necessarily cause us to thoroughly question the overall illusion) not only do we discover we are our own worst enemy, but everything we believed in has also turned on us. There is no safe cognitive refuge to retreat to while we gather our thoughts and reorient ourselves within the now very unfamiliar universe.

Unfortunately the term ‘awakening’, at least in this context, is a tragic misnomer for it implies a new understanding and re-ordering of old information, all while gathering new inputs. A rigid mind, the proper definition and destination for the conditioned mind, does not value flexible and fluid thought, let alone critical thinking. So when order is destroyed, the vast majority will seek a new (world) order that most seamlessly fits prior conditioned prejudices and preconceived notions.

Throw the frightened feline a new prepackaged ball of yarn and the stricken mind instantly pounces, the soothing endorphins spreading calm to every synapse. If Cypher cannot be re-inserted back into the old Matrix, any new one will do just fine thank you very much. Tell me a lie so I can believe it is the truth. Tell me the Big Lie so I can mindlessly reject any truth. After all, ignorance is bliss for those who desperately wish not to know.

Bliss

The fact remains the unspoken truth in the self described ‘awake and aware’ alternative community is that aside from a small core who genuinely work towards sustainable change, most of us who claim to be awake are secretly desperate to snooze once again. I suspect many furtively plead “I just want it to work again like it did before”, a preposterous wish considering it never actually did work……though I readily admit the illusion was persistent and convincing. Or we wish the system to be destroyed and rebuilt so we can be reinserted into a new and improved matrix in order for the good times to roll……again. There are, of course, several million variations of this self deception, comfortably allowing all of us to hide within our own uniquely constructed denial.

The proof of this conundrum is self evident, readily apparent and will be quickly refuted by those guilty of precisely what they deny exists within. Rare is the ‘aware’ individual who engages in little more than window dressing in re-ordering our lives in preparation for the inevitable……that which is not self sustaining will not continue. Yet the vast majority of those who claim to be awake and aware, therefore supposedly cognizant of the eventual demise of non sustainable systems, are still fully immersed within the collapsing socioeconomic system.

I suspect the C-section awakening will be just as violent, and possibly more debilitating, for the self declared ‘awake’ than those who are rightfully confirmed asleep at the wheel. The only thing worse than awakening is re-awakening after believing you are awake. The ego can only take so much before it shuts down the internal circuit breakers and we are left drooling in our lap zonked out on Thorazine. Then again, three hots and a cot don’t sound so bad while the world falls down around our ears.

This is not to say the path forward is to bunker down with a year’s supply of freeze dried food, three thousands rounds and our favorite equalizer(s). One man’s solution is not everyone’s salvation. Seen clearly and honestly, to bunker is just another dead end non-self sustaining system that will end when the ammo and food runs out……or are taken by force.

Either we make our own reality or we live in someone else’s. The key is not to make like Rambo, but rather to make community, to specialize as a generalist and contribute to the whole in order to survive as an individual. If the surrounding community values our contributions more than our ‘things’ (and we of them and their things) we will all gather together to protect ourselves and our things.

Unfortunately one will be hard pressed to build a viable and self sustaining community when the population density is measured in tens of thousands per square mile. With no hope to be self sustaining as individuals when packed in like sardines, no community can become what the individual cannot. Thus the need to move (aka relocate) to an existing community already in place who is willing to welcome additional members who bring value to the whole. This in situ community does not imply single minded preppers need only apply. It does imply those with a history of individualism, existing community bonds, a strong work ethic and the ability to work with their hands are always welcome.

But to make this change the person(s) claiming awareness, therefore the knowledge of certain severe decay if not outright collapse of empire, must walk the talk even if doing so means changing everything they presently value……or simply wish not to change. To assume one will recognize the death throes of Empire before just about everyone else, then sell your assets and slip away into the night is just about as delusional as thinking you can ride out the storm in place with nary a hair mussed or a meal missed.

Everything is about to change, is presently changing, with some effects imperceptible and some blatantly obvious. To think sheltering in place is the answer might be the correct answer; then again it might not. Ultimately each individual must arrive at an answer best suited to their needs and wants. But from what I can see and hear both from personal experience as well as from my readings online, many are doing nothing and hoping nothing is enough. The probability is it will not be, thereby assuring many C-section awakenings will be psychologically and physically shattering.

When things fall apart then people, once they have survived the initial shock, will look for ways to put their world back together. I like to work on those ideas so when the dust settles there is something positive to rebuild with. If you are away from major population centers and have good resources and people life will rebuild itself. Keep the ingredients for sucess close by. Have a plan on contributing something useful to the mix. Guard your nuts.

"Guard your nuts."

Not only guard them, but learn to grow them.

"When things fall apart then people, once they have survived the initial shock, will look for ways to put their world back together."

My concern is simple. A nation/world populated by conditioned and tragically dependent people will seek to elevate to power anyone who promises them they will turn those damn machines back on. When the hungry herd surges in that direction, those independent of mind and body will be seen, and painted by the elevated 'authority', as enemies of the (hungry) state.

People looking for ways to put their world back together again might do so in part by taking my world apart. That prospect doesn't fill me with worry or concern (aka fear) but it does spur me ever forward towards meshing with my local community.

Just as all politics are local, so will the herd be. I cannot plan a viable defense against the herd, thus I must be considered by the herd to be of greater value in whole than just my caloric value. Let them eat someone else if I can help it.  :-)

It is early  Sunday afternoon here, thoughtful posts are appearing as the'Fans', myself included, ruminate over the thoughts spawned  by CD's posts, CD always motivates me to ponder about the World and our part in it.

In my view, we are obviously two creatures living in the same organism, one is the physical person, the physical person's heritage traces back to the first cell in the ocean, the physical person has no memory nor sense of self, everything it needs, or needed, manifests unconsciously, and as we are still here, it must still be working, so all hope is not yet lost. The physical person unconsciously regulated by their instincts is the primary or real person, with the discovery and developement of language we now have another person living in the body this is the imaginary person, the concerns of, and about the imaginary person fill the conscious mind to the degree that there can be no other thoughts in there except the thoughts we verbalize, nothing is more important, to the imaginary man than himself and his place in the World, imaginary man expends his energy in a vain attempt to be important, a fool's erand, but why not, imaginary man is a fool, that is his unchangable condition, as fools,  modern men's quest is to find believe and practice the correct ideology, with the correct ideology Utopia is at hand, at least for me and mine, perhaps not for you, certainly not for competing ideologys. All wars are not Banker's wars, all wars are between competing ideologies.

"In my opinion, nothing much will actually change unless the root causes for the problems will be addressed.

I agree. And I don't think the causes will be addressed, because so far in my 71 years, they haven't been addressed...but have become coninually worse. I.e. those who get away with it keep doing whatever it is they do and others see them and see that nothing happens to them so they try it too, and nothing happens to them either.

Those of us who don't join them for whatever reasons, see things getting worse and worse (risk piled on existing risks, doubled, quadrupled, quintupled...) but are powerless to stop the circus or affect it in any way whatsoever... so life goes on, until it doesn't.

I don't think the circus will stop in my lifetime, unless the young of the world revolt. Even then, it'll have to be a hell of a revolt for change to occur...locking up or permanently eliminating every single one who've caused the risks. More likely, race or age wars. Maybe both. Sad, because the young generally don't know more nor have more experience than elders.

I'm 61 next week.

I grew up in what was, I now realise, was borderline poverty. Thing is I didn't know that at the time as I had clever and resourceful parents. They were also very clear thinkers who would answer any question I asked them as best and honestly as they could. I figured out, for myself, that the world was messed up during the 6 Days War, at the age of 12. When I was 14, while discussing world events with my father, he said that if people didn't see what transnational corporations were up to they would be the end of humanity. That was in 1969. My mum was an anarchist, she just didn't know it until she was about 80, but based on her actions and beliefs, there's no doubt. My dad was what most would now term a libertarian. He was quite mathematical (worked on Enigma during WW2) and a fine carpenter. My mum was a very talented watercolour painter and seamstress. She could pretty much turn her hand to anything.

Was I lucky, or what?

I've tried to do the same kind of things for my kids. They have turned out to be two to be proud of.

All through my life, whenever I've seen the direction the majority are headed in, I've found myself going some other way.

I don't claim to be right, I just want to be left to get on with my life my own way, as I have no intention to ever harm another human being (other than defensively)

If you have a roof over your head, food on the table, clothes on your back and enough spare time to appreciate the fact, you are doing OK.

Judging by your age, and probably a good deal of those others commenting here, I most humbly submit a bold statement, that in proportion to the deterioration of the mortal body, so to does one's outlook of the world takes its corresponding assessment. Just as the hope, optimism and naivete of youth is likely out of kilter with reality, so to, the senior outlook, with its predisposition of doubt, pessimism and skepticism tips the scale in its opposite direction.

It's nature simply playing out its natural order. Just my $.02

At age 21 I somehow found myself beginning my first teaching job in a Catholic High School.  As I prepared to march in and teach my first class, I asked a "vet" who had been teaching in the school for 25 years for sage professional advice:

Q:   "Mr. Killian.  You have been teaching longer than I have been alive.  What have you learnt?"

A:   "Son, whatever you are thinking of has already been tried, and doesn't work.  Good luck!"  (He whispered in my ear with a hand on my shoulder; with that counsel I marched off to the War Against Ignorance.)

(Mr Killian retired at the end of that school year, purportedly to "raise chickens because they are smarter than my sophomores.")

I'm most likely WAY out of my league, but a lot of this sounds like over educated people with too much time on their hands. What we know, don't know, can't know, blah, blah, blah. Don't get me wrong, it's an entertaining read. But I like to distill things down to common sense basics. I like to go back to the year 1900 as a reference point, before we became SO rich and spoiled as a society. Back when men were men, so to speak. Everything I need to know is in the Bible and in the Constitution as to understanding the nature of man and this world we find ourselves in at the moment.

In Iceland we tried to use crowd sourcing to write a new constitution. This was a done so that the people themselves could decide in a democratic way how their society would function.

https://www.opendemocracy.net/can-europe-make-it/thorvaldur-gylfason/dem...

This created a quite promising constitution, rather simple and well written.  But unfortunately it had to be handed over to bureaucrats and a team of lawyers appointed by the main political parties who defend the interests of capital holders in Iceland to be reviewed.

If a bunch of corporate lawyers would write a constitution from scratch, it would probably end up looking much like the bible.

Thousand  pages of material where a experienced lawyer could have a lot of room for interpretation.

I think a lot of those who are "Awakened" just have a theory in their heads about how the world works, without being able to support those ideas with concrete facts.

Lots of people beleive it seems that when the world takes the next major tumble, like a major market crash or war for instance, then everyone will be Awakened and people will generally understand what happened and why.

In my opinion, nothing much will actually change unless the root causes for the problems will be addressed.

As with just about everything else that America once stood for, it has been distorted, marginalized and subverted in the name of turning self reliant and critical thinking citizens into mindless self absorbed consumers.

I guess one of the problems could be that the 2 party system you have over there is corrupt because special interests have been investing i politics and using the most popular media to get public support for many adventures who have been aimed to produce profits for the parties involved.

Most of them have been paid for in more ways than one by the American people.

The trend in the western world is that true democracy is moving towards corporate democracy.  It is becoming easier for capital owners to invest in politics and use that leverage to "De-regulate" or remove the barriers, like constitutions and laws that protect the interests of the people, like civil rights or state property, like natural resources for instance.

In the USA this problem is greater than in other western countries because the entities that have bought your political system are very large and international.

People in the US are starting to see how disconnected the political system has become from the people it was supposed to serve.

If you are speaking about our exclusive posting of an excellent series of articles by Morpheus titled "Skyception", sadly there have been no additions to this three part series.

We are in weekly contact with Morpheus as he travels multiple paths down the rabbit hole. The man is remarkable in his capacity to absorb information and pursue new leads. I am certain he will update us when he has a moment to catch his breath.

Although there is a link and mention (or two), Morpheus needs to incorporate more text about the very real historic and current cloud seeding into that Skyception series. Wx manipulation is ongoing and real. The Rapid City, SD flood of 1972 involved cloud seeding that is still debated as to the role and liability that may have been...or not...and cloud seeding is being deployed regularly and sometimes with unintended/intended consequences. More than the whole jet fuel aerosols issue that I am widely a sceptic of, cloud seeding is more easily identified and responsible for real, measurable, and provable government controlled "climate change."

The Red Pill lives. Cheers.

The 'Skyception' series is a work in progress with what could be perceived as several gaps and omissions. In defense of the author, how do you write on a subject in which you have not completed your research? This is one of the reasons I often insist an author complete the entire work before I publish any part. By the time he was completing the third chapter his thinking had evolved somewhat, compelling a partial rewrite of parts one and two.

I edited Morpheus's series and went back and forth with him on several points. Ultimately I assure all guest authors I will not publish an edit they do not agree with. It is important for the author's sense of integrity that they do not feel their piece was hijacked or altered into something they do not agree with.

The biggest problem I see that must be overcome in situations such as this is getting past all the bad data and recognizing what is actually good or relevant. I think Morpheus did a wonderful job dealing with this issue. He certainly opened my eyes in several ways.

I can't wait for an update.

This is precisely why we must specialize as generalists. As I briefly mention in the article, if our neighbors value our skills more than our possessions, they are much less likely to take them from us when they are in need. Each to his/her own belief.

It's none of my business unless someone tries to use that belief against another who believes differently.

As an atheist, I always have a hard time understanding why anyone who truly believes in an invisible dude in the sky would worry about anything.

In fact, true belief would, IMHO, mean you want a short life not a long one.

But that's just me.

Don't sweat the little stuff, it's just symantics, lables for things that society has for whatever reason chosen not to introspect and give good symbol-handles for.

If I may be so bold, just substitute HH's use of the symbol-handle "God" with "the part of my mind deep at the core of me that seems to have access to much 'higher' capabilities than my everyday conscience mind."  If you're a naturalist then it'd be: "the part of my being that is connected to a bigger scope of being linked to other living things." etc.

See what I mean?  It's just a label, a placeholder for that part of us that has a connection to something more than just the little voice in our head that narrates our observations, hopes, and fears... so externalise, some internalise, and some pretend they don't have that connection... LOL!

If you're an atheist and subscribe to western logic-driven thought, I can't recommend this book enough, it's a modern presentation of quite possible the most important western-thinker there ever was (Epictetus, pronounced "Epic-tea-tus" but I much prefer "Epic-tit-us," cause that tittilates my imagination, cause who doesn't like epic-tits for us?!?)

Art of Living: The classic manual on Virtue, Happiness, and Effectiveness

http://www.amazon.com/Art-Living-Classical-Happiness-Effectiveness/dp/00...

Foundational Stoic thinking, really big fulcrum/leaver for a western mind to approach the world with eyes that can cut the wheat from the chaff.

Separating what you can/shoud do (worry about) away from what you should discard (not worry about) is more than critical in today's age of infinite distraction.

I know I'm part of something much bigger than humanity.

Trees, bees, fish, fowl, mammals are all related (DNA based) and part of a self-regulating system.

If I were to take you apart cell by cell, only about 10% of you would show up as human. We are all walking ecosystems, not organisms in out own right. I think this is what humanity must realise to make any progress towards a better world for ALL living things.

Most organized religions are based on the aforementioned invisible dude and are mostly harmful rather than helpful in most cases.

I spent Christmas day out in the woods with my bow. Only target practice, but I just feel better when I'm out in nature with its sounds and sights, just enjoying the feeling of being part of it.

I don't have a car, a TV, a cellphone or a credit card and I like it that way.

I try not (and often fail) to confuse 'religion' with spirituality or the concept of God or a higher power. One must not blame something that is misused for the results of the misuse.

YOU may have the sense to try not to confuse the two.

MOST just blindly follow.

THAT is the problem.

Doesn't just apply to things religious.

That's what makes is such a BIG problem.

Faith is a good thing. Blind faith? Now thats scary stuff. Thats what I call the koolaid forest. Once they get out there the truth wont be seen. Not that it cant be seen it simply goes unnoticed sidestepped if you will.

Its like the Rs vs Ds thing. They both seek to control everything by force. Deep down its true yet most still cling to their group inspite of all the history that shows them FOS. That system is busted. Together they built this.

Faith in the Trilogy, 3 ghosts for the price of one, is the epitome of blind faith.

A large part of tyranny prevailing is too many neighbors believe the God Calvary will rush in and save the ones like them through some mystical rapture. So, they are mesmerized and vote accordingly dragging my ass along with them. They don't care if we spend trillions on killing and NOTHING on cell reproduction longevity.

Religion is the bane of mankind. Humans will make a major leap forward the instant atheists and their derivatives comprise one registered vote above 50%. Believe me, the psychopaths will instantly recognize the paradigm shift and behave accordingly.

Can't see how faith can be anything but blind.

I have faith in gravity. Its worked out ok so far. Aint got a clue how it works but it does seem to work.

All kidding aside I agree with you on the faith thing turning out bad most of the time.

I  don't have faith in gravity, I have evidence.

Every time I fall off my bike I seem to hit the ground. It always hurts.

Yes things are changing, change is inexorable, is this difficult for people, yes, it is incredibly difficult to face when the Talismans we have trusted and which seemingly have delivered our abundance and security in times past, begin to fail in the face of new realities uncovered by the 'inexorable' change, this is a challenge to the very power of belief the central core of our existance is the faith that if we believe the right things, the right things will be availabe to us, the power of belief, in the right things, will even deliver you to Heaven.

So yes, we are credulous creatures, drifting through space trying to imagine something we can have faith in and believe which will allow us to face the future with the assurance we had in the recent past, can we find it? Perhaps we can, time will tell, the final chapter hasn't been written yet, I don't think  future success lies in doubling down on the things which worked for a while in the past, to survive the future, for a while, we are going to need some new thinking ASAP!
