Oil Spike Risk: Iran Police Use Water Cannon On Angry Protesters Near Saudi Consulate

Tyler Durden's picture

Despite official pleas for “calm” following the death of prominent Shiite cleric Nimr al-Nimr, Iranians are in no mood to stand down.

Perhaps the Ayatollah's calls for "divine vengeance" have incited a riot or perhaps the Shiite world has simply had enough of the House of Saud, but whatever the case, crowds once again gathered outside the Saudi consulate in Mashhad on Sunday where riot police tried in vain to disperse the mob with water cannons just hours after angry protesters torched the Saudi embassy in Tehran.

Below, find images from the scene which underscore just how precarious the situation has become in the wake of Saturday's executions in Saudi Arabia.

If crude needed an excuse to rally, then surely this is it as it now appears that in addition to the fact that Riyadh and Tehran are squaring off in Syria (where Iran is present and the Saudis fight by proxy) and Yemen (where the Saudis are present and the Iranians fight by proxy), the two countries are on the verge of a historic diplomatic crisis which has the potential to stoke sectarian violence across the Muslim world.

If any country goes after Iran and starts bombing you'll see China and Russia enter bigtime.Iran is the endgame for the Wolfowitz Plan and it won't work.

We've been messing with Iran for a lot longer than Wolfowitz or his clan have been at it. Back in 1953, the CIA supplied weapons to overthrow Mohammad Mosaddegh, the prime minister there.

From Wikipedia:

Wolfowitz Doctrine is an unofficial name given to the initial version of the Defense Planning Guidance for the 1994–99 fiscal years (dated February 18, 1992) authored by Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Paul Wolfowitz and his deputy Scooter Libby. Not intended for public release, it was leaked to the New York Times on March 7, 1992,[1] and sparked a public controversy about U.S. foreign and defense policy. The document was widely criticized as imperialist as the document outlined a policy of unilateralism and pre-emptive military action to suppress potential threats from other nations and prevent any other nation from rising to superpower status.

Such was the outcry that the document was hastily re-written under the close supervision of U.S. Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney andChairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell before being officially released on April 16, 1992. Many of its tenets re-emerged in theBush Doctrine,[2] which was described by Senator Edward M. Kennedy as "a call for 21st century American imperialism that no other nation can or should accept."[3]

Although Wolfowitz was ultimately responsible for the Defense Planning Guidance, as it was released through his office and was reflective of his overall outlook, he did not participate in its drafting, nor saw it before it was publicly released.[4] The task of preparing the document fell to Libby, who delegated the process of writing the new strategy to Zalmay Khalizad, a member of Libby's staff and longtime aide to Wolfowitz. I think the Iranians are making a very grave msiatke of judgment here. After all the Saudi's were recently appointed by the UN to head a certain human rights committee. And no doubt strings were pulled for that appointment  by that other great humanitarian state the USA whose prison system is unparalleled in size and comfort.

It won't be money printing, drought or the stock market level that will bring this world down. It will be the sheer level of wickedness that is displayed at all levels.

You listen to the daily cacophony on MSM telling you we are engaged in multiple military operations around the World and view this as just another video game on your phone. You view this as a natural evolution in the global power structure with "cooler heads" eventually prevailing. You view the execution of a Shiite Cleric by Saudi Arabia as just another crazy Arab event in the context of a multitude of crazy Arab events. In other words you are so bombarded by these escalating events, it becomes just noise in your daily existence.

Saudi execution aimed at provoking regional bloodbath

Having lost in their Machiavellian schemes for regime change in Syria, the House of Saud seems to want to inflict a plague of chaos and bloodshed on everyone else’s house.

The execution of renowned Shia cleric Nimr al-Nimr is such a gratuitous barbaric killing, one is left with the conclusion: the unadulterated madness of the slaying betrays an altogether pathological calculation aimed at inciting mayhem in the region.

Saudi Arabia is on such a losing streak over Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon and elsewhere that its autocratic rulers probably figure that they don’t have much else to lose by going for broke – and thus provoking a regional bloodbath.

The Saudi plan is working.

May be right for motive, although I suspect its just hatred rather than a plan. But I don't think this will create mayhem , it'll create a backlash in their own backyard,  this remote preacher is now an international inlamist martyr to be avenged.... its a serious stooopid move.

I think they had other plans.  I think this execution was retaliation but it looks like it is going to get out of hand.  Wouldn't that be terrible?  I may cry all week.

I think what's interesting is that I don't think they did it without consulting the state dept. here.

Maybe Trump is one of those Nordic aliens. Maybe he is Venusian. But Bush and Clinton  definitely  come from a reptilian  bloodline.MMedvedev  of Russia  was on a Sky TV interview  claiming that  the Russians  have ongoing communications  with aliens and each  incoming President  of Russia receives a dossier and a nuclear powered suitcase (presumably  containing documents  and perhaps communication  protocols). Now you could write tgat interview  off but what if it's true? Is earth itself a proxy war for alien races? Ed Dames, the remote viewing guru, claims alien spaceships are supporting Israel. Perhaps this is all a case of 'there's  more to this than meets the eye'.

If you are interested in aliens, you can do worse than reading "The Day After Roswell" by Col Phil Corso.

Aliens already walk among us

  • Former Canadian defense minister Paul Hellyer, 90, declared on Russian TV on Saturday that there are 80 different species of aliens
  • He said aliens have 'been visiting our planet for thousands of years' and are rather unimpressed with how we live
  • Hellyer described several types of aliens including 'Tall Whites' who are working with the U.S. air force in Nevada
  • He claims that 'a couple of their ladies dressed as nuns go into Las Vegas to shop and they weren’t detected'
  • Hellyer first went public with his belief in aliens on earth in 2005 and he is the first high ranking politician to publicly state that aliens are real

The first employee I ever had was the smartest man I ever met.  He happened to have been in the army and was a guard at Roswell when the action happened.  When you mentioned Roswell he would get the strangest look on his face and say: "Some really big shit went on there."  He seen the trucks removing the wreckage.

Hellyer's nonsense should make people think of two things completely unrelated to aliens:

  1. dementia affects the brain before it manifests physically; and
  2. almost without exception, only psychologically-aberrant people seek powerful political positions.

Taking any notice of a 90-year-old career parasite is evidence of a deep psychological desire for confirmation.

FWIW: I am strongly of the opinion that there are life forms in our universe that dwarf us in terms of technology and intelligence - but they will have transcended physical meatbags (as we will by the end of this century, so long as our political parasites don't wipe us all out). Meatbags are fucking stupid things to retain once you work out how to house personalities in much smaller, more robust containers. Personalities are what matters.

So it seems obvious that advanced extraterrestrial life will not bother with physical bodies as we understand them (which are only viable in a very very narrow range of environmental conditions): why retain a shitty, radiation-sensitive meatbag with limbs, hands, eyes, ears, gastro-intestinal tract and and endoskeleton if your tech has better sensors and you could become a nano-scale, radiation-proof solarphage? Why restrict yourself to bipedalism? Why have (largely) unidirectional joints? These are all constraints that emerged during our evolution, and will be sloughed off once we shift to a 'managed' evolution with technology as an input.

Also: the notion that a civilisation capable of interstellar travel would be remotely interested in direct contact with humans, is staggeringly anthropocentric (it's on a par with Americans who think that their Reich is much more betterer than other Reichs).

Any civilisation 2 generations more advanced than us, will have less interest in us than we have in the colonies of harmless bacteria that occupy the corners of our shower cubicles.

One of the most common characteristics of highly-intelligent humans is withdrawal from - and disinterest in - the broader human herd: why would an orders-of-magnitudes jump in IQ suddenly make humans interesting again?

The thing that makes me curious is the complete absence of any protests in the West from the usual human rights activists against the House of Saud. Nothing. They are executing critics, including women and kids, giving 1000 lashes to bloggers, yet it's crickets.

That tells me two things: A) Since the msm is zionist controlled, it is further evidence that Israel and Saudi Arabia are intricately tied in their policies. B) The so-called human rights groups like Amnesty and a 100+ others have long been infiltrated.

Consider this: In Israel, a Palestinian kid who chucks a stone at an Israeli tank, if he/she is not shot outright, can get 20 years in prison. 20 years for throwing stones! Then there are the decades-old issues of military occupation, thieving of lands and subjugation. A close, impartial, objective examination of our so-called allies who get billions in aid like Israel and billions in military contracts like Saudi Arabia, along with political/msm support shows how unbelievably batshit crazy the world is right now. It's completely topsy turvy - I'm not deluded about the "East" (Russia, China, India, Iran, etc) either, but at least I can understand their motives unlike ours. Don't even get me started on NATO Turkey and the neocons in the US State Dept.

Evil is perhaps not an objective word, it has religious connotations that make me wary of using it. But with every passing day I cannot help feeling that we (The USA and UK) are covered in the cloak of evil so heavy, it chokes the breath out of every moral person within it.
