Dear Mark Zandi... Please Explain This
If Mark Zandi and his "whatever it takes" seasonal-adjusters at ADP are to be believed, the US manufacturing sector added the most jobs in 11 months in December. Our question is simple - with ISM Manufacturing Employment at post-recession lows and US Manufacturing PMIs at post-recesssion lows, and inventories-to-sales ratios at post-recession highs, why are goods-producers hiring at such a frantic pace?

If you want to reject both private and public sector data to spin your preferred narrative, certainly, don't let me stop you.
But forever forego the myth that anything about ZH is data-driven.
Well they put the chart up there for your viewing pleasure.
How about answering their question verse insults and stupid comments to its readers. I am sure the Tylers would be interested in any verifiable information you might have.
Right, and when the BLS number comes out, it's "fixed". And when the claims numbers come out it's "a scam". And when the Challenger numbers are released, it only gets a mention when it's up. Cuz then it's the God's honest truth. But when it's down, well, they're all in on it.
ADP, Challenger, BLS, D of L . . . . public/private - it's whack-a-mole with stats.
After full employment:

Nephew installs garage doors here in Chi-town suburbs. He is working constantly. An anomaly for the winter.

Funny how that ties in with the post from RSNoble, above. Are those doors being installed near ChiTown made in Kansas perchance?
A massive hack that shut down all the automatic conveyor belts in the automated warehouses.. all really temp jobs but where with a massive hack posted electronically as permanent... all at less that $10/h.

Well, my guess - and it's only a guess - is that maybe the goods-producers are planning on transitioning into a part-time worker only model to help combat the ACA mandates that are kicking in this year?
Either that, or they missed a correction factor somewhere, like the "mistake" made earlier this month where they had to go back and fix 10 years worth of data.
