Eyewitness Account Of The "Monstrous" Migrant Attacks In Germany: "It's Like Civil War"

Tyler Durden's picture

On Tuesday, we documented multiple reports that suggest as many as 1,000 men “of Arab or North African origin” participated in what appeared to be coordinated attacks on German women in Cologne.

“About 90 women have reported being robbed, threatened or sexually molested at New Year celebrations outside [the city’s] cathedral,” Reuters writes, adding that the men were “between 18 and 35” and appeared to be “mostly drunk.”

Cologne mayor Henriette Reker called the incident “unbelievable and intolerable” while Justice Minister Heiko Maas described the attacks as “a new scale of organized crime."

For her part, Reker has been variously criticized for comments which seem to place some of the blame with the victims. "The Mayor of Cologne said today that women should adopt a “code of conduct” to prevent future assault at a crisis meeting following the sexual attack of women by 1000 men on New Year’s eve," The Independent reports. "The suggested code of conduct includes maintaining an arm’s length distance from strangers, to stick within your own group, to ask bystanders for help or to intervene as a witness, or to inform the police if you are the victim of such an assault."

“We need to prevent confusion [among asylum seekers] about what constitutes happy behaviour and what is utterly separate from openness, especially in sexual behaviour," Reker said, as though this might all be one big misunderstading.

"Ms Merkel where are you? What do you say? This scares us!,” read a sign held by one of hundreds of protesters who gathered outside the cathedral on Tuesday. Here are some images from the demonstrations:

"A spokeswoman for the interior ministry in North-Rhine Westphalia, the state in which Cologne is located, said there were three suspects but declined to give further details," Dow Jones says, before detailing the alleged attacks: "Police have said the women reported small groups of men attacking them among a crowd of around 1,000 people that had gathered in front of the station to set off fireworks. Women were allegedly cornered by groups of 20 to 30 men, mugged and in some cases sexually assaulted."

Assaults were also reported in Hamburg and Stuttgart. Authorities are attempting to discern if there's a connection.

"Mrs Merkel, is Germany 'colorful and cosmopolitan' enough for you after the wave of crimes and sexual attacks?,” AfD party leader Frauke Petry tweeted, taunting the iron chancellor’s open-door policy for Mid-East asylum seekers, more than 1.1 million of whom streamed into the country in 2015.

While Integration commissioner Aydan Ozoguz warned Germans to avoid putting migrants under “blanket suspicion” for the attacks, it is precisely these types of incidents that trigger dangerous bouts of scapegoating xenophobia, embolden right-wing political movements, and provoke violent responses from otherwise peaceful people who feel their home is being invaded by hostile foreigners. As we put it on Tuesday, "at this point it is too late for damage control, however, as this has become a case of guilty until proven innocent."

Below, find a first-hand account of the New Year's Eve assaults in Cologne from Ivan Jurcevic, a hotel club bouncer who was on the job (literally) as the melee unfolded. "These people that we welcomed just three months ago with teddy bears and water bottles ... started shooting at the cathedral dome and started shooting at police," Jurcevic says. "Well seasoned police officers then confessed to me that they never saw something like this in their entire lives," he adds. "They called it a 'civil war like situation.'"

On Wednesday, Merkel renewed her call for open borders despite the violence.

“Right now we’re seeing a very differentiated positioning among EU member states,” the Chancellor told reporters at meeting of her CSU Bavarian sister party. “It’s important to me that we have a noticeable reduction in refugee numbers, but at the same time preserve the freedom of movement within the European Union, which is an engine of economic development and prosperity -- and nobody is more reliant on it than Germany.”

There you go again, making no sense.

A moar pertinent question is why are you so stupid to focus on how they got guns, and not on the fact that barbarians are not at the door, but they have an invite and are trashing your house.

..because that Left wing tard policy thing is working out just peachy.

Where are the young men of this nation, why aren’t they stepping on these roaches.

These immigrants know one thing, take.

But...but...but...They are breaking the law.

They are not supposed to break the law.

We need another law, that provides for stiff penalties, for breaking another law.

Uh...uh...But what do we do when they break that law?

Uh...Nevermind.

It should be reported that the migrants didn't pay their grazing fees, then the left would call for them to be droned as my gay neighbor did back during the Bundy Ranch.

Eventually to help with a secure State and solve the unemployment problem there will be one minder for every two people. RFID implants or exploding ankle tracking shackle. The ones with the tracking devices will pay directly the salary of the minder. Extra bonus points for reporting misbehavior and triple points for detonating the explosive device on someone speaking banned words.

We have to do it for the children!

If they would have shot with firearms the police would have shot back or there would be casualties either side, no such reports.

Note what is underlined...(Edit: That did not work out...)

I do not know what was lost in translation.

But I do know that news about immigrant attacks have been supressed...from talking with actual people over here, FROM THERE, right here in Lakeside, California, in the USA.

Krystal runs a German Sandwich Shop and Deli, "Sausage  and More", right next door to my residence. Some of her guests are tourists...from Germany...and Holland.

I was speaking to a very angry Dutch man, with his family, vacationing in San Diego, CA, as he was eating in that shop. He told me about ongoing attacks which are censored.

FOR Eirik...

I actually talk to real people. I am not a xenophobe but I am a cosmopolitan. I just prefer that they visit, for a time, and then leave...and not relocate here.

I live about 70km south of Köln - it's a 1/2 hr train ride to the Cathedral (Kölner Dom). I have heard nothing about guns and shooting. On New Years Eve, this entire area is a war zone of fireworks (some very powerful - we're not talking sparklers here..). In this area, if I worry about being attacked by gangs of young men, I get much more concerned about soccer hooligans after their team loses a match (and they've had lots to drink). Your vacationing tourists are echoing rumors. From on-the-ground experience, I can tell you that these rumors are wild exagerations of a few isolated incidents.

Another conspiritard.  Calling them 'simple' refugees is just sophistry.  Burned out drug addicts can buy highly illegal drugs, you don't need to be a genius to buy stuff on the black market.  The world is awash in guns, laws against them are just easily worked around fluff.

They got guns the same way the paris attackers got guns and bombs. Criminals and terrorists don't obey the law. When will you morons get that through your thick skulls?

How were the muslime invaders able to rape those German women? Rape is illegal. Therefore the rapes did not happen. That's left wing logic.

Larssen is right.

Europeans, rather than resorting to "right wing extremism", need to build a rapport with the "moderate rapists" among their new guests, as opposed to highlighting the crimes of the most violent rapists.

Perhaps a lottery draw of 14 year old girls and a few select boys would appease their new guests and diminish these more egregiously violent displays of "acculturation dysfunction". Modern social problems sometime call for new approaches to conflict resolution and bold steps must be taken even if they appear unseemly at first glance.

Extremist calls for law and order have no place in a modern multicultural society where predictable oppression patterns will always occur against those with an alternative values system.

The problem that I have with that line is that I am already aware that the Governments of Holland and Germany are actively seeking to supress these stories and are inclined to minimize it.

What has leaked out is actually remarkable. I am informed that they have severe penalties due to censorship on "Hate Speech" as it stands. Perrhaps that is misinformation.

But perhaps that is the reason for the lack of empirical evidence. People fear losing their freedom (they haven't any to lose in reality...) or their "livelihood" (which will disappear as the situation degenerates into a defacto Civil War.).

The problem that you have with me is that I have ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE as German Nationals and Dutch National franly talk while visiting America. And there is that little German Delicatessen right next door which atttracts those German and Dutch tourists who are missing home...

Good try.

I don't think anyone here is arguing it is hard to get a gun in Germany. I think most people here are arguing that from a law abiding German's perspective, it is hard to get a gun *legally*.

Which only matters if you are, you know, concerned with obeying the law and trying to build up your country instead of tearing it down.

Ask any porch monkey in Chiraq, where it is also illegal to own a firearm, how hard it is to actually acquire a gun.

Btw, the porch monkeys don't have any money either. That never stops them from carrying a piece.

I think we said the same thing. "Hoops" are put in place by leftist faggots to try to discourage legitimate gun sales to law abiding citizens.

If you are willing to break the law, all kinds of shit becomes easier. Especially if the cops are afraid to enforce the law for fear of being called racists.

77gr is better.  If Sierra's 80gr bullets need to be seated out far enough so that they won't fit in a standard mag, I can't imagine how far out a 90gr VLD needs to be seated.  The 77s fit in standard mags and are easially good out to 600yds, if not further.

Or, you could just do what I'm doing.  I'm looking at a stripped AR10 upper and bolt carrier group right now.  Next will probably be the stripped lower or the barrel, which will be in .260 Rem.  I live at 5000ft altitude, so Nosler's 142gr long range accubonds should still be supersonic at 2000yds, which is further than I can competently shoot.  All of that with a 25rd capacity.
