"We The People Are Pissed": New Poll Finds Whites And Republicans Are Angriest Americans
If Donald Trump’s poll numbers tell us anything, it’s that Americans are angry.
Angry with what they perceive to be government ineptitude, angry with the economy, angry with US foreign policy, angry with just about everything.
The palpable sense of rage has manifested itself in support for dark horse presidential candidates like Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders and is also apparent in “incidents” like that which occurred on Saturday when armed militiamen seized a remote government building in Oregon.
Just how mad are Americans? Very, according to a new poll conducted by Esquire, SurveyMonkey, and NBC News. Here’s the preface from Esquire:

If you go to the end of this report and look at the photos of the victims you quickly notice 2 things - there is no blood and there are no IV's. If you have ever been to a shooting scene there are lots of these two items.

IMO, nothing is especially "fixable." Especially on a planetary level. Perhaps some individual countries will do slightly better than others. In the end, there are over 7 billion people and counting. I hear crickets when it comes to population management, and overpopulation is the driving force behind pretty much every major global issue today. Nobody wants to acknowledge this, because it is awkward, because it is uncomfortable, because it would mean significant changes in human rights, in government, etc. It's a problem that can't be discussed, which makes the problem that much worse.
Nothing is going to change. I'm of the belief that humanity will continue to exponentially reproduce until nature/earth no longer accommodates such a plan. At that point, I expect there to be a global conflict if one hasn't already happened that will reduce the human population to a maximum of 1 billion, perhaps as low as 500 million or even lower. Not in a day, or a week, a matter of years, decades even. Compared to today's population, this would be an almost unfathomable reduction in the human population; we're talking 80-90% of humans not surviving.
In the end, we are only Somewhat Evolved Monkeys.

A significant number of Americans are angry about declining living standards, increasing unemployment, austerity, etc. Since the mid 1970’s government/ corporate policies have: 1) cut taxes for the wealthy (Reagan), 2) attacked organized labor, beginning with firing of PATCO workers, 3) outsourced jobs to Mexico, China and other low-wage platforms (NAFTA; Clinton), 4) deregulated the financial industry (repeal of Glass Steagall; passage of Commodity Futures act of 2000; Clinton), 5) more tax cuts for the wealthy (Bush II). These policies decreased purchasing power of working people and resulted in the financial collapse in 2008, still ongoing. In response, the US FED has propped up (still) insolvent banks with $ trillions, supplied by taxpayers (QE), which has inflated assets- stocks and trendy real estate in SF, NYC, Boston, and propped up auto sales with subprime auto loans and other financial gimmicks. Further, in response to the 911 attacks and continuing economic decline, US foreign policy has become increasingly bellicose, reckless and astronomically expensive for taxpayers. We are beginning to see the “fruits” of these policies in crashing stock markets, and the financial disaster resulting from these policy decisions may well end up being worse than the Great Depression. I suspect that “we the people” are going to get a lot “angrier”.
