Obama-Appointed Federal Inspector Threatened By Clinton Campaign Over Email Investigation

An Obama appointed government watchdog central to the Hillary Clinton email investigation says that he, his family and his office faced an ‘intense backlash‘ from Clinton allies, who threatened him over findings that Clinton mishandled classified information.

Former Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough III.

Former Inspector General Charles McCullough III told Fox News Chief Intel correspondent Catherine Herridge that he was under intense pressure from senior officials on the left – with one Clinton campaign official threatening that he and another government investigator would be immediately fired under a Hillary Clinton presidency:

“It was told in no uncertain terms, by a source directly from the campaign, that we would be the first two to be fired - with [Clinton’s] administration. That that was definitely going to happen.” –Charles McCullough III

As a refresher, over 2,100 classified emails were sent over Clinton’s personal server, which was used exclusively for government business. Despite this, former FBI Director James Comey – who had drafted Clinton’s exoneration letter months before reviewing evidence in the case – recommended that the DOJ not prosecute the case.

McCullough was recommended to Obama by then-Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, who told McCullough that Clinton’s conduct was “extremely reckless,” adding “the campaign … will have heartburn about that.”

Via Fox News:

He [McCullough] said Clapper’s Clinton email comments came during an in-person meeting about a year before the presidential election – in late December 2015 or early 2016. “[Clapper] was as off-put as the rest of us were.”

After the Clapper meeting, McCullough said his team was marginalized. “I was told by senior officials to keep [Clapper] out of it,” he said, while acknowledging he tried to keep his boss in the loop.

Egregious violations

In January 2016, McCullough told Republicans on the Senate Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees that emails classified above “Top Secret” had been passed through the former secretary of state’s private, unsecure server – such as an email about Benghazi she sent to daughter Chelsea Clinton (using pseudonym Diane Reynolds) on the night of September 11th, 2012 from ‘@clintonemail.com’ which not only divulged highly classified military intel over a non-government server vulnerable to foreign surveillance – it also revealed that the Obama administration knew that an “Al Queda-like group” was responsible for the attack.

One wonders what Chelsea’s security clearance was at the time?

Instead of informing the American public that radical Islam was responsible for the attack, the Obama administration fabricated a story – peddling the lie that anger over an anti-Islamic YouTube video resulted in the attack, which led to the arrest and imprisonment of an innocent man.

As one of a handful of people who reviewed the 22 Top Secret Clinton emails deemed too classified to ever see the light of day, McCullough says “There was a very good reason to withhold those emails … there would have been harm to national security,” adding “sources and methods, lives and operations” could be put at risk. According to Fox, some of those email exchanges were considered Special Access Privelage (SAP), or “above top secret.”

What’s interesting about that, is an anonymous 4chan poster known as “FBI Anon” - whose breadcrumbs of information have been largely correct, posted on July 2, 2016 that Clinton had “SAP level programs on her server, which if made public, would literally cause an uprising and possibly foreign declarations of war.”

Then, on October 16, 2016 - three weeks before former FBI Director Comey cleared Clintin, "FBI Anon" elaborated on SAP programs and made an unverified claim about Clinton:

A Special Access Program is an intelligence program classified above top-secret. They are held on closed servers at secret locations. The only way to get one is if you are specifically read on to a program, have a need to know, then you must physically go to a location and pass through several layers of security to even look at the program. A good example in non-classified terms would be the locations and operations of our intelligence operatives around the glove, or our missile silo locations. SAP is granted on a need to know basis, and Hillary did not have any need to know any of the programs on her server. All I can tell you about the SAPs is that Hillary had them, and she did not have proper authority to have any of them. They were leaked to her by someone, and she did sell them to overseas donors. Possessing them alone makes her guilty of treason." -FBI Anon

Turncoat?

In response to McCullough’s findings, Democrats turned their backs on the Obama-appointed Inspector General for doing his job.

“All of a sudden I became a shill of the right,” McCullough said, adding “And I was told by members of Congress, ‘Be careful. You’re losing your credibility. You need to be careful. There are people out to get you.’”

McCullough told Fox of “an effort… certainly on the part of the campaign to mislead people into thinking that there was nothing to see here.”

Damage Control

As the Clinton campaign geared up for the 2016 election, WikiLeaks documents reveal that Hillary’s inner circle was already starting to spin the investigation – writing in an August 2015 email that “Clinton only used her account for unclassified email. When information is reviewed for public release, it is common for information previously unclassified to be upgraded to classified.”

McCullough was critical of this response, telling Fox “There was an effort … certainly on the part of the campaign to mislead people into thinking that there was nothing to see here.”

In response to the Inspector General’s pushback, seven senior Democrats sent a letter to McCullough and his counterpart at the State Department, raising concerns over the impartiality of the Clinton email investigation. McCullough, however, was not arriving at any conclusions himself – he was simply passing along the findings of individual government agencies on appropriate classifications assigned to the emails.

Fox News reports:

McCullough described one confrontation with Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s office just six weeks before the election, amid pressure to respond to the letter – which Feinstein had co-signed.

“I thought that any response to that letter would just hyper-politicize the situation,” McCullough said. “I recall even offering to resign, to the staff director. I said, ‘Tell [Feinstein] I’ll resign tonight. I’d be happy to go. I’m not going to respond to that letter. It’s just that simple.”

As Election Day approached, McCullough said the threats went further, singling out him and another senior government investigator on the email case.

Inquiries sent by Fox to both Feinstein and Clapper were not returned at the time of publication.

This is like a snow ball rolling downhill.  It gains in mass and momentum as it rolls towards its final destination.  This is a turf war between rival federal factions.  The Trump cohort is building mass and momentum.  There is a reason the Dems and Rinos are turning on Hillary.  They have lost control of the narrative.  Hillary called it when she warned her inner circle that if they lost the election they were going to jail.  Those that want to survive this are doing their mia culpa early.  They are switching sides in an effort to be on the winning team.  Those that are in too deep and the die hards are on the wrong side of the equation.

The question is, when does Mueller get his late night phone call?

This happened 2 years ago and this treehugging government suckling said and did nothing, just let the hostile foreign Clinton crime syndicate run amok across America during a major election. In doing this he committed at least 2 major felonies plus dereliction of duty. How many American civilians have died already because of this cowardice? 100? 200? Seth Rich? How many more will die? What will be left of America for even these cretans' children?

In theory, you are correct. However, don't be too quick to judge him. Have you ever quit a job being 1 year short of retirement eligibility? He knew that if he quit in protest, he would have been black balled from ever working again because the Whistleblower statutes are designed to punish the Whistleblower. If you don't believe me, take a look at what happened to every Whistleblower during Obama's reign of terror. He went into self preservation mode because he probably has a family to support. If you want to be righteously indignant, you should be pissed at Obama.

All one needs to know is the former FBI director, Mueller, is running a massive "investigation", that tries to find criminal wrongdoing by the current administration, and the POTUS himself.

During the past administration, the former secretary of state allegedly...

Special Access Privilege documents were likely accessed without authorization, passed around on unsecured servers, and sold to foreign "donors".

Forget about the thousands of classified emails.

Forget about Uranium One and the Russian government purchasing uranium and funneling 140 million cash to Clinton Foundation.

All you need to know is the highest levels of the deep state and the intel agencies were aware in real time, and allowed this lawless behavior to go on.

Logic tells us that even today she has zero fear of going to jail. She is running the big mouth 24/7/365. If she goes to jail the 75% of Obama's administration heads will go with her.  There would be niggers in the streets if Buckwheat/Jeh Jeh/Holder/Rice were arrested.

The Americans would have us believe that occasionally Putin has people who threaten him or his country killed.

When one looks at the trail of corpses left by the Clintons and the deaths of any and all American citizens who might tell an inconvenient truth about Kennedy, 9/11, Las Vegas etc, one realises that Putin is an angel compared to the Clinton hag and the American Deep State.

SAP is not “Above Top Secret”.

SAP is SAP and is classified at either at the Secret or Top Secret level.

The best way to describe SAP is for whatever reason a requirement exists to only allow left handed people to access the information. That doesn’t mean right handed people can’t access it, it just means that there better be a really good reason to allow a right handed person access.

MoreFreedom's picture

Technically you are correct, but SAP exists to keep the information out of the hands of people even with top secret clearances, unless they can't do their job without it.  And the existence of the information "may not be publicly acknowledged" which says the government won't even tell the public such information exists. Further "SAP and SCI are usually found at the Top Secret classification, but there is no prohibition of applying such segregation to Confidential and Secret information."

hooligan2009's picture

it goes much deeper than just the clinton emails - themselves sufficient for prosecution.

here are a few dots.

1. awan brothers had access to all those named demoNrats (classified, unclassified and SAP) emails via access to their personal computers.

2. abedin is linked to arab organizations who are linked to terror. her then husband was a known pedophile, easily cmpromised, and abedinsent classified information on an insecure line so that he could print out information that could be read in physical form, by anyone he chose, or happened to be around where the emails were printed out.

3. clinton took money from states in the middle east as well as russia via the foundations to which she is linked in the US and Canada.

does Mueller have the integrity to pursue this line of dots, in the same way he is going after Flynn?

numapepi's picture

Mueller is in it up to his eyeballs.

He is part of the cabal of criminals who orchestrated the whole thing, Uranium One and he turned a blind eye on Clinton's emails... that is why he was put in charge of the investigation, to aim it at red herrings.

MoreFreedom's picture

I'd bet Putin's hackers did get all the clintonemail.com emails (including the ones from Obama using an alias, just like Clinton, in an attempt to disguise who sent them) and used them to blackmail both Obama and Clinton, into as Obama promised Russian President Medvedev, "more flexibility after the elections".  What flexibility did he previously give them, why give them any flexibility, and why more flexibility after the elections?  As the article states, Clinton's server was unsecure.  I'd bet Hillary foolishly thought no one would know about it since she didn't say anythiing about it, and only the people she emailed would know about it.  Any hacker can tell you that the server and its address can be picked up by anyone using the same network (and wireless router) and that means any time she was in Russia or where Russians were, it would be found if they were looking.

Of course they had to cover it up, and excuse it because both Obama and Clinton were compromised.  Their use of pseudonyms shows they weren't acting above board and wanted the ability to deny they sent the emails when using them.  Obama lied about his knowedge of her server claming he learned of it in news reports.  Clinton's erasing the data on the hard disks was to cover up Russia's hacking of her server.  Clinton and Obama both told us the Russians are great hackers, but they lied about what data was hacked.  It wasn't what Wikileaks released - after all why would Putin release it to help Trump rather than keep it to use as blackmail material the likely US president?

Yep, treason is the right word.  And this article says there would have been likely declarations of war against the US if her emails were released.  By whom and why, I'd like to know.  I'm so glad Hillary isn't president, but she needs to be gone, and perhaps isn't because of those emails.

chubbar's picture

The ONLY conclusion anyone studying what is going on can come to is this: Hillary Clinton knows something so heinous/dangerous/destabilizing about someone/something that the gov't can NOT take the chance of her revealing this to the public, period. They may kill her, but she probably is aware of this possibility and has a dead-man switch which they know about.

Regardless, just to know that there is something that bad out there is scary. The congress and all involved branches of law enforcement are allowing the public to see how corrupt they are simply to protect this secret, whatever it is. Maybe it's something as benign as naming high ranking pedophiles, as bad as that would be. However, what if it is something really big, something that would bring down the gov't and/or cause large scale panic?

We have to assume that these SAP programs were also on the Weiner laptop which is why the NYPD investigation was squashed immediately.  The cops knew that the stuff on that computer was extrememly high level.  One has to wonder if the other Chelsea, Chelsea Manning gave Clinton this information for protection which is why she was released early.

I've got a problem with one part of this guy's story. He said that SAPs are things like "missile silo locations".

I assume he means ICBM missile silos. I live up in the missile fields of north central North Dakota and it's no

secret where the 15 Minuteman launch control facilities or 150 missile silos are located. I have drove by most of them countless times. They are on google earth and always by a main road. Even the warhead movement is no secret, a parade of trucks to and from the base and nobody is hiding anything up here.

Things can get pretty lax up here too. "Security Police" are suppose to drive around in the county and look out for the bad guys trying to spy or sabbotage the missile sites. A fenced in area of about and acre. The silo is buried and the missile has a 200 ton concrete and steel launch door on it. Anyways, the only people that have been dumb enough to climb the fence are protesters. If you get inside the fence alarms are triggered and someone comes to take a look. There are cameras on all the silos now and people monitor from the base or launch facility.

I've seen "security guards" sleeping in their vehicles in a tree row or shelterbelts while supposable guarding the nukes. I've seen the gate left open at the miissle sites and no one is there. The airforce is a giant screw-up.
