"Astonishing And Disturbing" Email Exposes Mueller Deputy As Anti-Trumper

Tyler Durden's picture

The rumblings that Special Counsel Mueller's Russia investigation is perilously compromised by political bias are about to grow a whole lot louder.

Just a couple of days after it was revealed that FBI veteran, Peter Strzok, was removed from Mueller's team due to the discovery of anti-Trump text messages exchanged with a colleague (whom he happened to be having an extra-marital affair with), and hours after the WSJ editorial board called for Mueller to step down for being "too conflicted", Judicial Watch has released emails obtained via FOIA that reveal another agent and a Mueller deputy, Andrew Weissmann, praising former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates' efforts to defy a direct order from President Trump on the enforcement of his travel ban executive order.

"I am so proud. And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects."

Andrew Weissmann

The email from Weissmann came exactly 1 hour after Yates was relieved of her duties with the Department of Justice by President Trump for refusing to enforce his travel ban executive order.  Here was our summary of the firing and the White House's official statement on Yates' dismissal:

That "mutiny" did not last long. At 9:16pm on Monday, President Trump announced the firing of the acting attorney general, Sally Yates, who defied him just three hours earlier on his migrant-travel ban urging the DOJ not to follow his executive order, saying she "has betrayed the Department of Justice."

Statement on the Appointment of Dana Boente as Acting Attorney General

The acting Attorney General, Sally Yates, has betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States. This order was approved as to form and legality by the Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel.

Ms. Yates is an Obama Administration appointee who is weak on borders and very weak on illegal immigration.

It is time to get serious about protecting our country. Calling for tougher vetting for individuals travelling from seven dangerous places is not extreme. It is reasonable and necessary to protect our country.

Tonight, President Trump relieved Ms. Yates of her duties and subsequently named Dana Boente, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, to serve as Acting Attorney General until Senator Jeff Sessions is finally confirmed by the Senate, where he is being wrongly held up by Democrat senators for strictly political reasons.

"I am honored to serve President Trump in this role until Senator Sessions is confirmed. I will defend and enforce the laws of our country to ensure that our people and our nation are protected," said Dana Boente, Acting Attorney General.

Meanwhile, as we pointed out last summer (see: Does Mueller's Team's Democratic Bias Confirm Gingrich's "Time To Rethink" Warning?), Weissmann, to our complete 'shock', donated more than $4,000 to Obama's presidential campaign in 2008 and $2,000 to the DNC in 2006.  Of course, Weissmann was not alone in putting his hard-earned money behind Democratic candidates...as Heavy noted, there seems to be a pretty consistent theme to which party Mueller's agents seem to prefer...

Jeannie Rhee: donated $5,400 to Hillary Clinton in 2015 and 2016, according to FEC records. The records show she gave $2,500 each to Obama for America and Obama Victory Fund 2012 in 2011

Andrew Goldstein: According to Fox News, “Goldstein contributed a combined $3,300 to Obama’s campaigns in 2008 and 2012”

Greg Andres: FEC records show that Andres has donated at least $2,700 to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)

James Quarles: Donated thousands of dollars to the campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. He has also donated money recently to other Democrats, including Friends of Chuck Schumer and two other Democrats. He has a lengthy donation history dating back years. He did donate to two Republicans over the years, however.

Elizabeth Prelogar: A former law clerk to Justics Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagen, gave $250 to Hillary Clinton in 2016, according to FEC records. She also gave $500 total to Obama for America and the Obama Victory Fund 2012.

Brandon Van Grack: gave small amounts to ActBlue, an effort to raise money for Democrats, and to a Democratic candidate for Congress in 2012. In 2008, he gave about $286 to Barack Obama.

Rush Atkinson: donated $200 to Clinton’s campaign in 2016.

Kyle Freeny: In 2012, Freeny gave $300 to Obama. In 2008, Freeny also gave $250 to Obama, FEC records show.

Finally, we leave you with Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton's assessment of this latest revelation:

“This is an astonishing and disturbing find. Andrew Weisman, a key prosecutor on Robert Mueller’s team, praised Obama DOJ holdover Sally Yates after she lawlessly thwarted President Trump.  How much more evidence do we need that the Mueller operation has been irredeemably compromised by anti-Trump partisans? Shut it down.”

Maybe Trump can make a deal with Kim Jung Un, Norks give up nukes, but Kim comes to DC and terminates the Mueller probe the way they do it in Norktown, with an anti-aircraft gun.

Davidduke2000's picture

Why would NK give up nukes, it's an independent country and has the rights to nuke like the us, at least NK never used the nukes on anybody, while the us nuked Japan and it's the only country that ever used nukes.

Pentagon spokesperson Eric Pahon demonstrates how the press is being manipulated by the inner government of America. Not only that, it shows that this individual is nothing but a schill and a fucking moron. The statements being made by the Pentagon are a national disgrace but it also shows how low these scumbags will go in order to show their stupid ignorance:

Mueller was a Hillary crony, so he was massively compromised and corrupted from before DAy 1.

Fire the rat bastard and his hand picked team.

This witch hunt is a fraud.

Conscious Reviver's picture

Mueller covered up the crimes on 9/11. All anyone needs to know about Mueller.

US Prosecutors, government investigators, and agency sleuths no longer seem to understand what the words 'objectivity' or 'disinterested' really mean. Nor do they even seem to know in their political hot headedness what the "appearance of justice" actually is in relation to public policy. It is as if when they work for government they are elites above herd of subject unwashed people and not subject to rules of fair play and decency or even the law, such that they are found to take political sides and to lie and distort the facts for special interests and political causes.

The FBI is another case in point. Rank and file FBI are presently complaining about Trump's chastisement of their agency for some of the errors of their superiors, implying that they are dedicated patriots doing yeoman's work in protecting the people, and the agencies should somehow be exempt from criticism. However, they conveniently overlook that when their superiors take liberties with their power to aide in public smear campaigns based on faked evidence, their entire agency is rightly painted with the same brush in being considered as overly politicized and even corrupt. The same can be said for the CIA when it is understood they are in control of much of the illegal heroin industry.  Many agents in these organizations no doubt find honor in blindly obeying the orders of their superiors in an unbroken chain of command right up to their directors, but the problem is that there is no real honor for any evil actions being carried out in shear obedience.  In fact, without whistleblowers, whom in good conscience break that chain when serious corruption is discovered, there would likely be no corrective or check or balance to restore any honor where due.

Why should any citizen respect the FBI or the DOJ at this point?  The only way I'd even consider ethical behavior from any of those employees at this point is if they mutineed.  But, I guess a dental plan and a pension mean more than their oath to the Constitution and rule of law.  Fuck all federal employees.  The lot of them are talentless parasites.

pparalegal's picture

The fix was in. No wonder Hillary & OMan have been so uppity.

RumpleShitzkin's picture

Have they, though?
When was the last time you heard Soweto or Hillary mouthing off?
I haven’t heard much from either in some time. Almost as if they are laying low.

Not low enough, but this isn’t over yet.

Goldennutz's picture

Why isn't "I was drunk" on the wheel or does "I tripped cover it"?

Goldennutz's picture

Hillary is busy on the longest book tour in history.

incharge1976's picture

Over the weekend they were both mouthing off. Obama was saying that there is no leadership in the whitehouse, basically mocking Trump. Hillary was mouthing off about the #MeToo bullshit.

Government workers have the right to politics of their choice. They also have First Amendment rights.

Lord Raglan's picture

So what is your point?  Have you checked out the Hatch Act genius?

IridiumRebel's picture

You mean the 218 year old law never before used that would ensnare Obama, Carter, Clinton and Bush for being “private citizens” and negotiating with foreign nations? Flynn was transitioning to his post and everyone before him has spoken and readied for the job.

He should be ashamed for being a political hack and not seeing the obvious implication of our most trusted institutions becoming a secret police force.

youshallnotkill's picture

As a retired US general, Flynn was obligated to report such contacts to the Pentagon. This does not apply to Obama, Carter, Clinton or Bush.

BigCumulusClouds's picture

It does when they attend Bilderberg meetings.

Wilcox1's picture

Not on the fucking job they don't. On the job, they do their job per the specifications in their government service handbook that they swore to when they got that pillow cushion job.

lennysrv's picture

Sure, they do.  They certainly do. But not when it corrupts their thinking, as it has so obviously done.

sheikurbootie's picture

The military are government workers and it's forbidden topic, especially in uniform (on or off duty)

Free Man's picture

Yes, to a point.

But, they have to leave their views out of the jobs they are asked to do, if they cannot then they must step aside, 'recuse themselves'.

That has not happened in this obviously fake Mueller 'investigation'. It's all one big fraud.

Not to mention the huge salaries they are all making from this endless cash cow.

Mr Hankey's picture

They should be denied all suffrage until they quit all publicly funded compensation & bennies.

sekhars's picture

It is amazing how Mueller , McCabe and Rosentstien  are still on their job.  Department of Justice is a joke and special investigator is indeed on a witch hunt and waste of taxpayer money. Trump should appoint special prosecutor to investigate Uranium 1.

Only a naive MSM fed person would be astonished or disturbed.

Don't worry, it is all coming back to bite them.

Wilcox1's picture

Why am I not astonished.... Duh, NO govberment career doodoo head is ever, NO WAY, going to have the least interest in free market/free life. That means it is a given: Any "civil servant" will be against OUR President of US(A) Donald Trump.

Good thing Senator Jeff Sessions was 'finally confirmed by the Senate'.

Problem is we wanted Mighty Mouse to holler 'Here I come to save the day!"

Instead...the Alabama Elf settles for an old Steve Martin impression..."WELL, RECU-U-U-U-U-U-SE ME!!"

JasperEllings's picture

Turns out, we should've listened to pervert Franken when he told us how worthless Sessions is.

DaiRR's picture

No need to fire Mueller (Müller) just yet.  Let his Müller's umlaut ass turn on the spit longer until he's so cooked he'll either resign on his own or the American people will demand he be removed.  Let it cook some more so we can get really sick of winning.  DemoRats in D.C. need to be stewed in their own juices.

just the tip's picture

you lost me at putting your faith in the american people to any fucking thing.

THEY

DO

NOT

CARE

Lord Raglan's picture

The key to putting a stop to all this bullshit is for Sessions to find something obviously criminal to charge the Magic Negro and his Communist nursemaid Valerie Jarret with.  That will make all the underlings' bowels turn to liquid.

just the tip's picture

no.  the key would be for the dickless sessions to resign, so we could get a real AG.

how 'bout this fitton fucker?

Cardinal Fang's picture

So the bottom line is...Sessions recused himself when he really didn't have to and all these Clinton FBI toadys did not when they should have.

Do I have that right?

Yes...that about sums it up.
