With Bank Of America On The Verge Of Breaching $5.00, Our Question Of The Day Is...

Tyler Durden's picture

... how many of the top 50 holders presented below, will be forced to sell once we get a 4 handle? We are certain of one thing, however: Paulson's LP are simply delighted that he added to his loser position in BAC. Delighted.

Quick! name one reverse split that didn't hit a 52 week low within a year...can't.

A reverse split would be glorious - means that it will drift down to $5 quicker, and my puts will pay out.

BofA says,   "We won't".  It won't ever be a four.  Even if it is below 5,  we will say it isn't and that will be the truth.  We can pay to make 4 a 5. We do it all the time.  We only owe a couple billion.  Not the 100 billion we have lost.  That is lost, you don't count that except that it is our real tangible stuff that has real value on our books even when it doesn't exist.  We would like to thank Texas Instruments for making us these new calculators that work for our business model.

Low 5.03. Last Quote 5.15

It's amazing how often ZH points out something regarding stock/bond prices and then they reverse course. FED must be reading ZH.

Hmm. And now back below $5.10/share.

Hmm. Stocks retrace moves down, and moves up. Hmm. That's something different.

Check back in an hour to gaze sheepishly at the beautiful 4-handle BAC will be sporting.

Then make a wise-ass remark.

don't forget they moved trillions onto the FDIC and the Fed is buying MBS from them. they'll survive awhile longer.

The FDIC does not help until they move in and restructure.

When that happens, FDIC itself will get help from the Fed.  That's the only place there are enough clownbux.

All fiat currencies eventually go to zero. In 1929, people jumped out of windows. The understanding of zero dollars is a rude awakening.

But isn't the B of A bankruptcy the entire point of the exercise? Isn't that the reason Uncle Warren invested? Isn't Uncle Sam going to have no choice but to come to the rescue so Uncle Warren and others can make lots of money? Aren't they going to use B of A to plug the holes in JP Morgan's and Goldman's balance sheets by dumping all of their toxic European crap on B of A's books through some creative back room deals that they are working on right now. Didn't we know when Uncle Warren made that investment that the tax paying sheeple would be on the hook for the mother of all bail outs?

Most of you are forgetting C.  That once-proud bank that now opens cheap 'branches' in damaged Amerikan suburbia that look like Subway outlets.

They will just 1-for-10 BAC and wallah.

Just like they did for C.

Watching BAC stock around the $5 mark is like watching Arsenal attack: They pass the ball around but never penetrate into the box to take a shot.

I love the 28 year old buyside f-tards who believe Buffoon is god. I guess with no believe system having Buffoon as a god makes sense. These losers sit on their my "FCF models as copied from Buffoon are the only way to invest' and look down their nose at any other investment style. Soon to u little f-tards, BAC is gonna be codeword for your weekly helping of foodstamps.
