Just when we thought the US could not sink any further in its usurpation of civil rights, here comes the FBI to advise all those who tend to think that the broken economic model of the past century is the cause for the global insolvency, that wanton fiat diluation and reckless debt issuance does not 'fix' the problem of uber-leverage, and that the gold standard is the proper way to return to monetary stability, will henceforth be considered extremists. From Reuters: "Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday. These extremists, sometimes known as "sovereign citizens," believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference." And the most epic line ever written: "The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard." So... the US did not go bankrupt by going off the gold standard? But why did the US "go bankrupt" then? We are confused.

One could try to go back to gold standard but most likely the country would be flooded with tungsten based fake coins, both from domestic sources and from abroad. Those fake coins are relatively easy to make.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to mint tungsten coins, and plating them with gold afterward would easily give away the fake due to inevitable blurring of details in the electroplating process.

A debt based monetary system isn't BAD when its properly managed, the problem is that 99% of the money creation in our system is done through small loans (like credit cards, car loans, boat loans, home loans).
Then the banks don't properly dispurse these funds, and they monetize the notes at the Fed Window.
IE: Take a mortgage for example.
Borrower signs note and lets say hes buying a house for 100,000$ USD.
Bank is supposed to hand the note and any allonge to the TRUST lets say the Trust was Mellon New York, and the bank was JP Morgan Chase.
Chase is supposed to:
1) Give the money to the borrower (actually lend money from their deposits/cash reserves).
2) Give the note to the trust
The borrower is supposed to pay the loan.
The trust is supposed to give the borrower the Note BACK after the borrower is done paying the loan.

Chase steals the note , takes it to the Fed window and cashes it.
Chase sends a forged/counterfeit note to the trust (essentially screwing over the trust/commiting fraud).
Chase counterfeits credit and claims the trust has the power to foreclose with fraudulant documents.
Chase creates money for the transaction through "propreitary accounting" and "counterfeiting".
Chase involves the poor borrower in multiple scams/fraud/collusion/liabiltiy/risk/theft (possibly) and TREASON/counterfeiting.
The borrower doesn't know any of this is going on and when the borrower defaults due to the DEFLATION the banks caused (after the bubble pops because of these fraudulant activities....) the bank ends up with:
-Free house (through a fraudulant foreclosure done by a trust that has NO LEGAL PAPER WORK.
-Free money (they essentially lent the counterfeit funds to the borrower who then "cleaned" the money by paying it back as interest, so on their open books the money looks legit but its actually coutnerfeit....
-Free money from any credit default swaps/insurance they put on the "loan".

Gold density is 19.30 g·cm?3. Tungsten density is 19.25 g·cm?3. It would be quite easy to make tungsten core coins with gold around it and the rest with copper alloy to counterfeit the famous Double Eagle coin. So much for using gold standard...
The electrical resistivity of tungsten is more than twice as high as gold, and it is very easy to make a device to nondestructively measure this. In fact, I have such a device and I have yet to find any tungsten in any coin that I've examined. The measurement only takes a few seconds.
Tungsten could probably also be detected sonically, but since the electrical method is so easy I've never been tempted to try anything else.

System 1, Digital currency
Day one this system goes online, the banks are forging credit, by the time the regulators catch on the system is collapsing and billionares are RAPING AND PILLAGING the masses (especially the poor class).
Hackers will bypass this system in no time.
System 2, Paper currency
Probably about 10% of all paper currency still in circulation is fake by now , and the funny thing is that its not that hard or expensive to counterfeit paper notes.... you could probably doit in your basement for udner 2 grand in equipment.
System 3, Gold/Silver standard.
Bottlenecks
1) Requires *GASP* science to measure/dilute/melt/mix/weigh the amount / concentrations of each metal in the coin.
2) Requires heavy machinery (for the most part) to cast the coin or roll your raw material into sheets for stamping.
3) You need to make dies, and the dies have wear and tear on them.
4) You need to aquire the raw material (Tungsten, Gold, Silver, Copper, High quality steel for the dies).
5) You would have to fool , magnetic tests, acid tests, weight tests... etc... not to mention there are now devices designe to "scan" coins and the like to see if they are real gold or not.
You could always "scrape" gold off the coin and slowly save up shavings to re-cast a new coin, but gold will actually be lost in the process to the net effect on over-all money in circulation would be small in comparison to paper/digital counterfeiting.
What would be my solution?
SIMPLE:
A combination of technologies.
Gold / Silver coins with RFiD Tags STAMPED into them, the tags will have no accounts attached to them, simply SERIAL NUMBERS, corresponding to a SERIAL NUMBER in a digital data bank.
Everytime you go to spend your gold the teller can scan the coin and see if the gold was in-fact created by the GOVT.
If you melt a coin down and it has no tag, it will only be worth its weight in gold and would have to be treated as raw gold.... to be sold at pawn shops at discounts etc.. for use in industry/jewelery.

In 2006, the FBI estimated that over 14 million people were arrested in the US for everything but traffic citations/violations.
Lets assume the rate stays steady.
2009 = 14mil
2010 = 14mil
2011 = 14mil
So we have 10 + 18+ 18 "extreme people" arrested, or 46 people in 3 years out of 42 million arrests. From a statistical standpoint that is not even a blip on the map.

Yes, there is something VERY wrong with that. If you hold gold for years, its value has not increased in real terms (while the value of fiat dollars have dropped). When you go exchange your gold savings for goods of equal value you have NOT made a profit, since the goods and gold are of nominally equal value since that is the basis of any exchange. However, they claim you made a GAIN on your gold when you exchanged the gold for goods, because the value of their fiat fraud paper has dropped. That is VERY wrong, and that is what a "gold standard" prevents from happening.
That plus it prevents the predators-that-be and predator-class from LITERALLY being able to create unlimited fiat, fake, fraud, fiction, fantasy, fractional-reserve debt toilet-paper "money units" and buy unlimited real, valuable, physical goods from people who had to invest time, effort and resources to create those goods. I got caught up in the "sovereign citizen" movement years ago, back in the early '90s.
My interest moved in the direction of law, and I spent a lot of time studying law from the constitutional perspective, the civil perspective, and the historical perspective (Magna Carta, english common law, etc).
Then one day it hit me. The government doesn't care about any of that stuff. Whatever rights we think we have are meaningless to the government. They just don't care.
Years later I had another epiphany. The Declaration of Independence is wrong on one point. God never said we have rights of life, liberty, and property. The Founders were wrong on that point. You can't find anywhere in the bible where God says we have any rights at all.
That's why God doesn't enforce those "rights" for us. He never said we have those "rights" to begin with.
That's when I abandoned the "sovereign citizen" movement. The whole movement rests on a false foundation that we have certain rights from God. But the bible doesn't say that anywhere from Genesis to Revelation. It's just not in there.
On the other hand there are lots of accounts in the bible where government imprisoned and killed people without a "just" cause. All the Apostles were imprisoned and executed except John, and he was exiled.
In none of those cases does the bible record where God punished said government in any way. Not one.

If we have any so-called rights from God, then it's God's job to enforce them on our behalf.
