3. Ron Paul runs third party, he loses AND his neo-CON son's political career is toast

What a pompous idiot. Paul didnt win iowa or New Hampshire either- and isnt likely to win any other states. I like the guy but anyone who thinks hes going to win the presidential election is delusional.

Personally I dont wnat him to win, he would only wind up being scapegoated.  When the ticking bombs start to detonate it needs to hang around the necks of the current parties, not a guy like Paul.  Its far better strategically to let republicrats own the imminent failure, his ideas will be of value when its time to rebuild.

@ ozziindaus,

To put this discussion to rest.

The original Federal Reserve Act of 1913 did indeed provide for expiration of the corporate "power" of the twelve Federal Reserve Banks to exist in 20 years from the banks' organization (not the adoption of the Act).

Sec. 4 ... the said Federal reserve bank shall become a body corporate and as such ... shall have power: ... Second. To have succession for a period of twenty years from its organization unless it is sooner dissolved by an Act of Congress, or unless its franchise becomes forfeited by some violation of law. Federal Reserve Act of 1913 (P.L. 63-43, 38 STAT. 251, 12 USC 221).

However, this 20-year corporate life was changed to perpetual in 1927 by Act of Feb. 25, 1927 (44 Stat. 1234) as follows:

Second. To have succession after February 25, 1927, until dissolved by Act of Congress or until forfeiture of franchise for violation of law.

This is codified in the United States Code, 12 U.S.C. § 341. See http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/us...1----000-.html

This is where it stands today. Each of the U.S. Federal Reserve Banks can only be dissolved by an act of Congress or "forfeiture of franchise for violation of law."

So it looks like the FED got a 20 year charter on 23 dec. 1913 and on 25 feb. 1927, this was changed to perpetual..

The URL of Cornell looks very original.

So the charter is perpetual, or there must be some other change after 1927.

Only an act of Congress can end the FED.

Nearly Half of this country supports Obama no matter his record (this election or last).

The rest of the country is splintered and all backing flawed candidates.

I can't hold my breath for Paul and his fiscal greatness.     As for Gingrinch, at least he has spoken some rhetoric against the fed.   Romney scares me.   Santorum scares me.   all have perverted conservatism in some way.

That applies to Europe as well. The nanny state that takes from one pocket (deducts a healthy portion for political parties) and puts it into another pocket is what Europeans seem to need and want. Bunch of freaking wimps! Couldn't even straighten out the Yugoslav thing on their own in the 90's. Now the Eurocrats will fuck it all up just because they are too afraid to take some serious actions now. These are the people the Europeans elected so they are getting what they deserve.

That may just be why America will not be spared.

Righteousness was a trait highly prized by the founding fathers.

Now it is ridiculed at best, and despised at worst.

Ron Paul was right when he said it is a question of morality, not making more laws.

Regrets for being Bible police, but I can't help myself.

Abraham was pleading with God, starting with "would you spare the city for 50 righteous men" down to "10".  One of the points of the story is that there are no (self) righteous men, but God in His mercy decided to spare Abraham's nephew, Lot (for whom Abraham was effectively pleading).

Of interest, Lot and his family were spared, although his wife turned to look and was turned into a pillar of salt.  Then Lot's two daughters subsequently got him drunk and, in turn, slept with him.  The daughters' resultant incestual offspring became the Moabites (i.e., line of Ruth) and the Ammonites (persecutors of O.T. Israel).

All in Genesis 18 and 19.  :D

Fearful people run straight into the arms of the totalitarian state.   Reality be damned, they will want security, and will do anything, turn in their neighbor if they have to, send their kids to fight in Iran, and hope they get a piece of the loot in exchange for their cooperation.  Crisis and depression will lead to war and citizens stabbing each other in the backs to "get theirs" at the expense of their neighbor.  Already people are crying for the same criminals who got us into this mess to be given yet more power.

I never thought that something like the NDAA could be passed without immediate revolt.  We are truly doomed.

That is my line of thinking.  The path our country is on was set in motion long ago and each generation that has come along has mostly made it worse as each began to believe that freedom was simply that we were able to buy what we wanted.  We are merely only starting to see symptoms of this societal change more and more quickly.

There is nothing that can stop this current motion into the abyss no matter how much we like to pretend we can change it.  It may actually be more efficient to let it commit suicide than change it anyways.

Suicide?  Don't give them the satisfaction.

Every person who is finally made aware of the truth spreads it to 3-4 more.  The trend in thought that got us to where we are today can be reversed, but it takes a long time to take hold.  But it grows exponentially.  I try to visualize the exponential growth model when I think that my efforts are too small.  All of those I have convinced are actively winning others over, and then they are in turn.

Please, no suicide.  We need all the help we can get.

I'm not going to commit suicide because of these losers who are so bored with life that they need to manipulate humans.

I mean the system.  All evil systems seem to commit suicide.  Which is why I think most the banks will go bankrupt regardless of how much fiat they throw in the back door.

"When God desires to destroy a thing, he entrusts its destruction to the thing itself. Every bad institution of this world ends by suicide."
-- Victor Hugo (1802-1885)

If Ron Paul were elected, people would mistake the symptoms of the cure for the disease itself and vote to stop the pain at any cost.

"Panics do not destroy capital; they merely reveal the extent to which it has been previously destroyed by its betrayal into hopelessly unproductive works".
-- John Stuart Mill

There would be a whole lot of "revealing" in the absence of endless bailouts, ZIRP, and fractional reserve banking.

@ peekcrackers,

The Zionist Elephant In The Room

The political creed of Zionism has big ears and a long trunk and I think it’s time that was pointed out. It also stampedes through our lives at every level and that needs to be said, too.

It has created a pincer-movement on the human mind by hijacking staggering amounts of political, corporate, banking and media power on one side and by using the fear of being called ‘anti-Semitic’ if you dare to state the bloody obvious.

They have been able to do this by equating in public perception that Zionism = Jewish people. It does not. Zionism is a political creed introduced by the House of Rothschild to advance the goals of the Illuminati families that are largely controlled by the Rothschilds.

When people think of Zionism they think of Jewish people. When they think of Israel they think of Jewish people. That’s understandable given the propaganda, but it is seriously misleading and those instant connections need to be broken if we are going to understand what’s going on here.

Zionism means Rothschild just as Israel means Rothschild. When we see the extraordinary number of Zionists in key positions around the world we are looking not at ‘manipulating Jews’, but manipulating Zionists representing the interests and demands of the Rothschilds.

Significant numbers of Jewish people are not Zionists and oppose that appalling creed while many Zionists are not Jewish. These include the Christian Zionists and Obama’s vice-president, Joe Biden, who told Israeli television ‘I’m a Zionist’.  If, as Biden rightly says, you don’t have to be a Jew to be a Zionist, how can it be a racial rather than a political movement? It can’t. It’s just made to appear like that to manipulate public perception because opposing Zionism then becomes opposing Jewish people as a whole and the ‘you’re a racist’ card can be played over and over.

Far from protecting and advancing the interests of the mass of Jewish people it has often been devastating for them and caused millions to be labelled unfairly by the actions of the Zionist elite. On the Jews Against Zionism website one feature highlights how Rothschild Zionism targeted Jews who had lived for generations in Palestine side-by-side with Arabs in peace and harmony:

‘The religious Jews who by virtue of their faith, clearly contradicted Zionist nationalism, and who had lived peacefully with their Arab neighbors for generations, became unwillingly identified with the Zionist cause and their struggle with the Arabs.

They requested the United Nations that Jerusalem be designated as a defacto international city. They appealed to the diplomatic corps assigned to Jerusalem — but to no avail. They were hence confronted with the choice of either becoming a part of the Zionist State, which diametrically opposed the interests of Jews as a religion, or abandoning the land of which their forefathers were the first Jewish settlers.

Let’s get this straight. Zionism doesn’t give a damn about Jewish people. To the Rothschilds and their Zionist gofers and thugs the Jewish people as a whole are merely cattle to be used and abused as necessary – just like the rest of the human population.

The networks of the House of Rothschild were behind Hitler and the rise of the Nazi Party in the Rothschild heartland of Germany where they had changed their name from Bauer in 18th century Frankfurt and launched the dynasty that was to control global finance.

After the war the Rothschilds used public sympathy for Jewish people targeted by the Nazis to press for a homeland in Palestine. This was the alleged reason for the founding of Zionism, but that is only part of it.

The campaign to impose a Rothschild fiefdom in Palestine goes back at least to the earlier part of the 19th century and probably long before. It was given a massive boost with the Balfour Declaration in 1917 when the British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour declared in a letter his government’s support for a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

This letter was sent by Balfour, an inner-circle member of an elite secret society called the Round Table, to Baron (Walter) Rothschild who funded the Round Table.

Today, Rothschild Illuminati fronts like the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, Royal Institute of International Affairs, and others, still answer to the Round Table which string-pulls and coordinates from the shadows. This is why Zionists in government are invariably connected with these Rothschild-controlled organisations.

The Rothschilds funded the early settlers from Europe to relocate in post-war Palestine and they also funded and armed the terrorist groups, like Irgun, which bombed and terrorised Israel into existence in 1948, a campaign which forced 800,000 Palestinians to leave the land of their birth.

Israel is simply the State of Rothschild and how appropriate that they paid for the construction of the Israeli parliament building, the Knesset, and the Israel Supreme Court. The name Rothschild means Red-shield and it originates with the red shield ‘Star of David’ symbol (not a Jewish symbol before the Rothschilds) which they displayed on their house in Frankfurt .

When people think of Zionism they think of Jewish people.

Which is why I would recommend you stop using the term and just outright say Illuminati.  It's just less confusing for people.  Easy identification of the bad guys would make it easier to wake people up and make a credible resistance.

No reason to worry yourself sick about it.  I had trouble believing it at first too, just say something like "well maybe you're right, I don't know." Inform who you can and give it to people slow and nice and easy,  it's alot to absorb at once.   Prepare the best you can for the hard times that might be coming, and help even those friends and family who didn't listen if the bad times come.

Maybe use a term like Bad Guy Elite.   You could even point to something like the first season of Survivor where the winners succeed buy using a secret alliance.   Seems like that might work on a larger scale.  Maybe talk abou the odd pyramid on the dollar and the little owl. Maybe even about the ownership of the federal reserve and the constitution.

There's still some good people out there and they deserved to be saved, even if they don't appretiate it at first.

The N Korean style police state may never come to the US, just be prepared and have a plan if it does.

But until then enjoy life, there's still alot of good things to see and good people to meet.  We'll all need each other if they really crack down on us "useless eaters".  But enjoy the here and now as much as you can.

That was a very good assessment and summary.  I have read much of what you said, and am currently going deeper.

I would, however, add that, allthough founded and funded by Rothschild, there are many modern rabbis and such who support Zionism based on the racist and supremicist aspects of their Talmud.  Both the Talmud and Kabbalah have had a big influence in the Zionist movement.  But I DO agree that even the Jews themselves have been abused by them.

I have decided to call it "Political Zionism".  I think it's more accurate.

Thanks!

Here is an interesting article on the architectural symbolism of the Israeli Supreme Court, designed and built by the occultist Rothschilds

http://vigilantcitizen.com/sinistersites/sinister-sites-israel-supreme-c...

[snip]:

Conclusion

This article barely scratches the surface of the occult symbolism of the Israeli Supreme Court. It is however clear that the building’s architecture carries important symbolism relating to spirituality and the attainment of illumination. There are no religious monuments relating to Judaism or any organized religion. The Supreme Court is a temple of the Mysteries, which are an amalgamation of pagan rituals interlaced with an esoteric interpretation of the Scriptures. The teaching of the Mysteries is reserved to members of occult secret societies, which the Rothschilds are obviously part of. The esoteric meaning of this building is concealed from the public but it unmistakably reveals to the initates who possesses real power in the world.

Jews are just more disposable pawns to the demons in charge.

Rothschilds were big in the creation of Israel no doubt about it.  I find your comment interesting in that so many people here at ZH insist that Zionism is racism,  you point out, it can't be and why.  Second, you go after individuals rather than the typical I hate jews/israel/cia.   I'm trying to say that you are specific in your criticism which even if I don't agree with your views and some of your facts such as the Irgun's campaign causing 800k to leave, you at least make an argument which can be made into a discussion.

By the way, if Rothschilds were as powerful as you thought, the land they bought in the Golan would have been part of Israel, don't you think?

The Rothschilds are not Jewish, they’re khazars who adopted Judaism to avoid the problems associated with Islam and christianity in 740 ad. They took control of earth through a deal with the pope who owns allodial title to earth. Rothschilds ownership is fee simple, a right of use to be maintained as long as they pay their rent (taxes) to the Vatican. Enforcement is by the black pope or head of the Jesuits. This occurred sometime in the 1600?s before they adopted the name Rothschild and were called Bauer. So all taxes accrue to them as governments are forced to borrow money rather than create it themselves as the Rothschilds and their banking system do. All wars are created by them and fought by them and their militaries on both sides. All poverty is created by them and a 90% reduction in population is their policy.

I never really understood the fascination people have with the Khazars concept.   Everyone accepts the fact they're jews now.   What they were, so what.   It's like  the arguments I have with my dad on the 1967 borders.  He reminds me there was no border, just an armistice agreement so it's not a real border to use in a negotiation.  I say so what, one side now calls it a border even though it wasn't and there's no getting around it.

You're not going to convince me of this Rothschild argument tonight so I'll just say you exposed me to the theory and I'm aware of it.

Chup, you're posting a lot of interesting info here but some of it is wrong or not proven. Some of the people identified on your list as jews in the US government may not be and the assertions about the Khazars are far from proven. Although I do agree that the Khazars converted to judaism I think the bulk of Ashkenazi jews were a blend of Sephardic jews who migrated into Europe and European converts. At one time in Europe the jews actively converted others into the religion.

Even if they weren't rigged, do you really think a popular vote of ignorant individuals can make a decision grounded in wisdom?  The problem is that we try to export democracy when we don't practice it ourselves.  Hypocrisy is far worse than brutal honesty.

Paul is in a good position to be king maker at the GOP convention.

There is no way that a Republican can beat Obama without Paul's enthusiastic support.

Libertarians have been taken for granted by the GOP for too long.

A Republican nominee running with the promise that Paul would be Sec. Treasury would win in a landslide.

Listen to the other candidates talking about the constitution. Never would have happened four years ago. Israeli Lobby launch new Super PAC effort to bring down Ron Paul

by Patrick Henningsen Global Research, January 21, 2012
Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate who is not overtly ‘pro-Israel’ in the popular neoconservative sense. On January 13, in the run-up to the pivotal South Carolina GOP primary, the Emergency Committee for Israel, run by neoconservative thinker William Kristol, released an ad in which its Director Gary Bauer makes a plea to voters – not endorsing any candidate, rather, telling conservatives that they must reject Congressman Ron Paul as their GOP candidate, deriding his foreign policy views with respect to America’s ‘special relationship’ with Israel, and fighting the War on Terror – concluding that, “We can do better than Ron Paul”.

I'm not going to bash Ron Paul here but sometimes groupthink can't accept the scoreboard.  Quite simply, the people spoke and the Paul crowd doesn't like what they said.  The hot hand was Gingrich, not Paul.  Granted, this is Gingrich's home turf but still, if Paul's message were convincing, he's have done better.  I mean, 4th place behind Santorum?  Yeesh.  He's not out, but he's down and Florida isn't friendly territory either.

Well, if I was in the 0.1%, I sure as hell would not want Romney as the Repub candidate.... Any campaingn will focus on his out-of-touch, undertaxed corporate kleptocracy background... Obama would run circles around him and make raising taxes on the banker parasite class a foregone conclusion...

Watch the money pour into Gingriches coffers as a result of this... Look at it this way, on a income of 50 million taxed at 15%,  a 5% increase in taxes equals 2.5 million per annum or 10 million over a 4 year term.... throwing a couple of million at Gingrichs Super-Pac would give you one hell of a return on your investment...even if Newt doesn't win... I'm currently retching in the toilet and typing with one hand.  How can someone who makes the statement, "Andrew Jackson knew how to treat his enemeis......kill them!"  actually get the vote of the conservative right who parot family values and the love of Jesus?!?!  How can people who declare that we should support our troops (and they support Ron Paul by an enormous margin) vote for someone who wants to send them into Syria and Iran?!?!  What si the wrong with the psyche of humanity that they could show excitement and joy at the prospect of war?!?!?  We are screwed.  My choice is to vote for someone who will start WWIII or will support the fall of the USA into European socialism..........

Pretty much.

Although I think you're selling Obama short, he's going to destroy America AND start WW III.

I would like to apologize on behalf of Christians who actually believes in the teachings of the Prince of Peace. Heck most '"Christians" don't know or understand his teachings.

I think most people are really just unintelligent. RP is not appealing to lowbrow idiots (except maybe stoners), but the party line rhetoric spewed by everyone else is more digestible by the simple minds of most people.

Ron Paul is the beachhead. It's going to take someone else to pick up the torch and make it to high ground. I'm not dissing Ron Paul here, I  have the upmost respect for the man. Hell I'm Canadian and you wouldn't believe the support he has here (thxs Howard Stern - strange bedfellows unite) You look at the remaining field - not one that isn't damaged goods and they are going to ultimatly send one up against Obama,,, WTF this is Obama's to lose? Where's Hunter S. Thompson when you need him the most.........sad miss

No offense, but a Canadian has no business commenting on US elections.

No offense, but a Canadian has no business commenting on US elections.

The US consumes 25% of world resources with only 5% of the population. US dollar is the world reserve currency. US has military bases in just about all of the oil producing nations on the planet.. The US has installed puppet regimes in multiple strategic nations.

Funnily enough the world disagrees with you.

Oh stop. None of that makes it your business.

Doesn't matter what the world thinks...as you've nicely pointed out.

The entire world has a right to comment on US elections, after all, many of them are paying a dear price for American Empire.  Currency manipulations, forced regime changes, bombing, trade wars, sanctions that starve populations, geopolitical wars over resources.

The U.S. became the rest of the world's business the day that the U.S. started interfering in the rest of the world.

No you don't. We subsidize your economies with a free defense force and troops to spend money in your countries. In return, you enjoy the benefits of an uber welfare state because all that free defense money can go to entitlements.

But none of that makes it your business. it's not, never will be.

I am American.  And I think it is wise for people all over the world to observe the politics of the world.  Nobody is in isolation.  The entire world is affected by American policy.

Secondly, the subsidies you think the world benefits so much from flow to only a few elite in most countries, and the citizens of those countries endure abuse by dictators we prop up.

You attack someone from being well-read on American politics and for being aware of the impact it has on them.  Typical American arrogance to say the world has "no right" to even dare to have an opinion on American politics.

Your last sentence shows you aren't American. You still don't understand the simple comment of MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

No more replies to "old Europe" or whoever you are.

I'd love to see some more foreigners not only pay more attention to our policies, but to perhaps start refusing to play along.  I'm sure many are sick of sending their troops to die in our wars.

The simple concept of "mind your own business" is the reason why many foreigners love Ron Paul.  They would love to see us mind our own business.  And I welcome their input/comments/support.  You are free to ignore them if you wish.  But there are many who contribute to ZH and help expose the American system for what it is.  I, for one, am happy to have them be part of the conversation.

Apparently, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS is not a term many of us americans are willing to understand.

Typical US citizen

A dollar in my pocket is nothing but paper.

A dollar sent abroad is wealth leaking from my pockets.

Reality:

US of A exports nothing but coercion and receives in exchange wealth.

USD is used to monetize other countries' wealth.

The US of A, the mecca of US citizenism, ensures the payment of a tribute from the rest of the world, including from their brethern in US citizenism, the Europeans and Japanese.

Living in the US of A brings priviledges. One is to be a free rider.
