Fake Conservatives As Dangerous To Freedom As Obama

If Americans are looking for anything in the dark clouds of political dust and powdered ash that choke our air and leave us feeling naked against the elements, it is but a simple moment of sincerity.  It sounds like an easily attainable thing, and yet, we continue to gasp and clamor.  The visible surface of our nation is so devoid of honest connection with our social voice that we have turned to a cynical form of loneliness.  We have embraced a life without clarity, and been made wretchedly bitter, desperate for even the faintest taste of truth.

The false two party paradigm that drives America gives us a measure of sustenance.  Just enough to keep us from going completely mad, but not enough to end our hunger.  As this process continues, however, and the establishment grows bolder, we too become savvy in the ways of the machine.  Eventually, the old standards just don’t keep the masses distracted like they used to, and so, the system, not willing to give up power, decides instead to become “like us”, at least outwardly.  It steals our vision and our song and goes on parade.  It tries to make us believe again…

The campaign of Barack Obama in 2008 was a perfect example of the propaganda pageant, complete with visceral slogans like “Hope” and “Change”.  After eight years of the clownish George Bush Jr., when our country spiraled down into a state of disturbed and vicious adolescence, people were looking for a renewal.  They were looking for a path away from the edge of the abyss.  Instead, they were given a better liar, with a brand new costume.  The American Dream has become harder to sustain since…to say the least.

In 2012, what I see is like a lightning bolt in slow motion.  I can sense it branching out across the sky towards the ground and tearing through our surroundings, upending everything we know.  Both the President and Congress have some of the lowest approval ratings in history.  The question of whether anything can be accomplished through government has been answered for most people with a resounding “no”.  The citizenry is on the verge of total fury.

I wish I could say that most have abandoned the fleeting hollow satisfaction of choosing the “lesser of two evils”, but that would not be accurate.

Recently, I was invited (by several separate people) to a central event in the state elections of Montana called the “Lincoln-Reagan Dinner”, and promptly tried to avoid it like a rat infested plague ship.  I know from experience what these kinds of political elbow rubbing parties can be like, and have been thoroughly unimpressed.  Somehow, I ended up there anyway.  If your only experience of the Republican Party was to attend such shindigs, you might think the stuffy anal-retentive caricatures we often see of conservatives are well deserved.  In stark contrast to a Ron Paul rally, most of the attendees were little younger than 55, and few seemed very animated.  Perhaps they were suffering from the same distaste of the whole thing as I was.  Luckily, a solid 15% of the crowd were Liberty Movement oriented, which helped me to weather the overall painful proceedings (I also won a door prize; a coupon for a free dinner, mmmm…), but a pair of earplugs and a bottle of whiskey would have been far more comforting.

The party also gave me a momentary window into the future of the state in which I now reside, and even the probable nature of campaigns occurring across the nation.  The prospects weren’t very pretty.

If Americans plan to look to the GOP to save them from the jaws of impending disaster, they had better reconsider that foolish notion.  Obama may be riding the economic collapse straight at us like a wild Mako shark, but that’s no excuse to delude ourselves with fantasies of a Republican savior.  Mitt Romney (a man whose legislative record is little different from Obama’s) is just the tip of the iceberg.  At the state level, a much more dire charade is taking place.

A most noticeable trend is the language that fake conservatives (Neo-Cons) have adopted in the past year, switching from die hard statism to sudden “opposition” to Federal encroachment.  What happened to the GOP’s love affair with centralized government?  Well, the tides of the populace have changed considerably over the past few years, and in 2012, co-option is the name of the game.

While the media goes out of its way to ignore Ron Paul, the elites in the GOP have lately decided its better to sound at least a little bit like the Constitutionalist candidate.  Now, the parasites are brandishing rhetoric they wouldn’t have been caught dead uttering not long ago; railing against EPA intrusion on state jurisdiction of natural resources mostly, and the Federal Government in general, but it wasn’t much help.  Speech after speech, the candidates were heavy on flag waving placations, light on substance or honor.  The general message of the assembly was repeated over and over again; WHOEVER the chosen candidates were after the primaries, conservatives were “duty bound” to supplant Obama and the Democrats at all costs.  That is to say, if we do not unify around the selected Republican con-squad, Obama’s reelection would be entirely the fault of the non-conformists.  “Anyone but Obama” was the catch phrase of the evening…

Sound familiar?  It should.  It’s the same kind of campaign the Democrats were running against Bush back in 2004, and it will lead to the same kind of disappointment.

Two political front men in Montana in particular left me so disgusted I could barely digest dinner afterwards.  The first, of course, was Neil Livingstone, who as far as I can tell, is the quintessential nightmare candidate from the seventh circle of hell.  With ties to the CIA under Air America, Iran Contra (though he denies it), multiple Blackwater-style mercenary firms, a penchant for death squads, and backdoor deals with dictators like Moammar Qaddafi, it’s hard to imagine a worse governor for an anti-Federal pro-Constitutional state like Montana.  Though we have been covering this information since Livingstone’s entry into the race, it’s nice to see that other outlets are finally catching on:

http://motherjones.com/politics/2012/03/neil-livingstone-montana-governor

Mother Jones treats Livingstone’s record as a kind of anomaly; an outlandish joke that makes him unelectable.  However, I tend to take his presence in Montana a bit more seriously.  Money and friends in high places are still viable strategies in our very corrupt electoral process, and Livingstone has both.  The fact that the man moved back to Montana barely a year ago just to run for the governor’s position is also disconcerting.  His running mate, Ryan Zinke, a former Seal Team 6 member, stated his solution to Montana’s unemployment problems is to build predator drone factories (I’m not joking).  And, both have received backing from a local retired two star general by the name of Paul Vallely who wrote a book called “The Myths Of Gitmo: Torture, Abuse Or The Truth”, in which he defends the detainment procedures of the infamous facility and claims that no torture, or at least what he defines as torture, occurs there.  Though, this is not half as disturbing as the paper “From PSYOP to MindWar: The Psychology of Victory” which he wrote with legendary military Psyop analyst and creepy occultist Michael Aquino (look this guy up for a lesson in dangerously weird).

Vallely has been posing locally and nationally as a Liberty Movement proponent with his organization “Stand Up America”, just as Livingstone and Zinke have been posing as Constitutional freedom loving traditional conservatives.  Anyone who has studied the Cointelpro operations of the 1960’s and 1970’s would probably see a familiar pattern in all of this, but many Montanans I fear may not be quite so aware.  Livingstone gets consistent applause for his broken record jokes on the hot button wolf problem here in the Big Sky State.  And his speaking style is well trained.  Like most political snake oil salesmen, he has the ability to talk a lot without saying much.  It may well be that the Constitutionalist movement that is thriving here has garnered special attention, and men like those listed so far are not here by coincidence.

The second politician stealing our oxygen was Rep. Denny Rehberg, a self proclaimed Tea Party Republican who consistently votes for Neo-Con style legislation, including the NDAA.  Rehberg washed patriotic during his substance-less speech during the Lincoln-Reagan dinner, wandering off on tangents about his mother and then back to push button topics like Obamacare.  The one saving feature of his campaign was his opposition to the bailouts.  Unfortunately, when confronted by Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers after the event on his support of the NDAA, Rehberg revealed his true colors.

Apparently not recognizing who Rhodes was, he accused the long time veteran of “not supporting the troops” because of his opposition to the bill.  When confronted on the specific provisions of the bill which allow for indefinite detainment of any person the executive branch accuses of being an enemy combatant without trial, Rehberg denied that the bill opened doors to such action.  This has been the typical response from other fake conservatives who voted for the draconian legislation.

Strangely, representatives of Rehberg have tried to contact Rhodes in the past to show support for a bill to “clarify” the language of the NDAA, but these drafts contained little to nothing to actually nullify the detainment sections.  If Rehberg has no remorse over his support for the NDAA, and feels it holds no threat to the American people, why try to draft a state bill to clarify the U.S. citizen issue?  According to Rehberg, the only reason was to silence Constitutionalists who had been pointing out his non-conservative, pro-statist behavior.  “Clarity”, is not his true concern at all.  The irrationality of the defense of the NDAA continues to escalate amongst closet neo-cons.  From Alinsky style diversions and accusations, to full-on denial in spite of the evidence, they refuse to admit the nature of the legislation.  Why?  Because it is indefensible.

I have merely covered some local examples of fake-conservatives I have witnessed first hand, but this is a strategy being used all over the country.  The incredible threat these people pose cannot be underestimated (in a follow up article, I will cover some examples of legitimate liberty candidates).  With Obama sending America into a death spiral, the obvious and natural reaction by many will be to look to the conservative dynamic to put things right.  Sadly, most Americans do not know what real conservatism and limited government looks like anymore.  Frankly, any hobgoblin in a suit can claim he is a conservative nowadays, and then implement the same globalist, collectivist policies as the fake liberal before him.  As I have said many times in the past, you have to examine the actions of these representatives, not their rhetoric.  What they say is meaningless.  What they do, and have done in the past, is everything.  This election year, we MUST NOT play the old game of the “lesser of two evils”.  The fact is, there is no such thing, and there never was.

The commenter you responded to may not know the definition of the word conservative, but the Republican party has destroyed the definition.

Bob Herbert, with his self-righteousness on full peacock-like display, calls for "the creation of an independent agency with strong powers of enforcement to protect consumers from exploitation by banks, mortgage companies, auto dealers and other purveyors of credit" ("Derailing Help for Consumers," March 27).  The idea that individuals can fend for themselves in competitive markets -- for example, by exercising judgment, or by comparing one lender’s terms to those of other lenders -- is so passe that Mr. Herbert ignores it.

All 'Progressives,' after all, know that ordinary men and women are dumb as dirt and gullible as all get out.  So the claim that people who don't boast Ivy League degrees -- or who don't write for a newspaper that prints all the news that it sees fit -- can get on well in life without government-appointed guardian angels to protect them is, to these 'Progressives,' a real howler -- a knee-slapper so utterly ludicrous that, to take it seriously, is to reveal yourself to be downright inhumane and, even worse, likely a Republican.

    Sincerely, Donald J. Boudreaux

There is no such thing as an independent agency. There is no such thing as an agency with power that is not corrupt.

Progressives think the way they do because they assume they'll be in charge.  They want to rule.

I'll say it again, you can't be nice to them. We need to be more libertarian to get the point across.  The republicans are part of the problem too.  From John McCain and Sarah Palin to Bill O'Rielly, they will legislate you too. They want laws.  They stand against liberty and competition.  They are economic ignoramouses. [/quote]

in true newspeak style, words have been co-opted and the meanings reversed, undermined, intentionally, so as to confuse and deflect while the theft(s) continue.

it's important to get the user of a word to define their usage within the context of their beliefs, and stop just bobble-dog head nodding when we hear a word we think we identify with. . .

this is obviously very important in an election year, when the lies come thick 'n' fast, and tempers flare. . .

Perhaps what is needed is an unalterable definition of what 'conservative' means and what 'liberal' means, along with all the other labels we apply without thinking. Why, for instance, is conservativism considered close to fascism or naziism? Why were the hardliners in the Soviet Union labeled 'conservatives'? The difference between those who ruled Nazi Germany and the USSR is that one group was originally National Socialist and the other was International Socialist. Personally, I prefer to make the spectrum start with small, local government (principle of subsidiarity) and end at one-world totalitarianism. No one has come up with appropriate labels.

So stating that 'conservatives always threaten freedom' is misleading at best. You assume all conservatives are of a single mindset, when clearly that is not the case even using the current vague definitions. On the bright side, anyone reading your post will realize how biased and undiscerning you are. Congratulations on being unable to engage in debate without resorting to insults.

Most Ignorati "believe" that the price of gasoline is rising, rather than it's the FRN$ that are FALLING in value.  And now you want them to think about the political spectrum?  Most do NOT even realize that it's two-dimensional, rather than a straight line (left ----------- right).

You clearly don't understand who or what conservatives are. Conservatives, real conservatives, believe in a small government that serves only one purpose and that is to protect the nation so that we are free to raise our families, be economically free, and practice what ever religion we choose. By protecting the nation I  don't mean we should be out stirring up wars and wreaking havock across the globe.  Real conservatives understand that it is the private sector that creates wealth and that it is the public sector that plunders it. True conservatives also know that when you have a merger of the private and public sector then we have a fascist state, which is where we are now.

Conservatives are defined by the rejection of new ideas and a belief that a past state of being was superior to the present state of being . The stronger the conservative values, the farther back in time the visualized superior past state of being is.

Taliban are aggressively conservative, as they wish to go back 700 years.

Strict constitutionalists want to go back nearly 250 years.

Libertarians wish to go back 300-400 years.

Progressives are open to new ideas and believe that the optimum state of being is some time in the future.

Please, I don't know of any conservative who wants to go back to a time when the life expectancy was 45 years old or where we don't have the modern luxuries that progress has brought us. Conservatives respect the past, relish in the present, and look forward to the future. We don't allow people such as yourself to pigeon hole us into a definition laid out by people who have an alternative political agenda.

Liberalism, properly understood, is a dynamic, radical force pushing for the liberation of individuals from arbitrary control by others.  It advocates private property, limited government, social tolerance and peaceful relations with all.  Over the centuries and across the world, there have been voices calling for individual freedom.  Contrast liberalism with its nemesis, the conservative force of socialism.

How the Republicons tarred the Decepticratic party with this label, I'll never know, since most contemporary Decepticrats support "Social", and yes, "Progressive", ideas, which seem to always require Federal Govt involvement in our lives.  I believe that the Decepticrats CHOSE to use the "Liberal" label to identify what they stand for, even though it has no basis in reality today.

The Republicons are no "Conservatives", either, as they've proven every time they've been in power and expand the Federal Govt, just like the "Social" and "Progressive", Decepticrats.

All of this just points out that the labels they use to identify themselves are meaningless.  BOTH parties should be called the "Leviathan Party", if truth be told!

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one. If a Progressive/Socialist doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed. If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn`t eat meat.  If a Progressive/Socialist is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.  If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.  A Progressive/Socialist non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.  (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)

Progressives think the optimum state of being is one determined by the state, period.  There is no human issue that a progressive doesnt feel can be solved by more laws, government, and coercion.

All determined by them of course, because they mean well and stuff.

if "true conservatives" would extend their desired freedom to others who desire their own freedom, and stop hiding behind "a flag and a cross" then I'd agree with you, but the current "conservative" is anything but.

again, keep religiousity out of governance, then call it whatever you like.

The first thing to remember when it comes to the usual conservative is freedom is relative. When they blow on endlessly about freedom, they mean their freedom to do whatever they please and everyone else is free to just deal with it and any implications of it.

On another note, anyone seen the movie God Bless America yet? Looks like a good time.

I don't think Ron Paul will do that. Even though he is independent minded , he is still a republican. I think he sees Oboma as the greater evil and remebers the effect Perot had on Bush Sr. Having said that I still plan on writing him in.

In my opinion, Perot's effect on Bush Sr. was by design and totally supported by Bush Sr.  Bush played his part as well... the well choreographed yawn and look at his watch in the prime time debate, carefully captured and replayed over and over again.  The elite needed a D at the helm to do the important work of NAFTA and GATT as well as the Banking Modernization Act, eventually.  None of it would have passed under a Republican... it needed the party that would be traditionally opposed to champion the cause the hold the critics at bay.  All my opinion, of course.

As soon as you accept the possibility that it's all a charade, the levers that can be pulled become easier to see.  Our wars in the middle east become increasingly less popular.... what to do... run and elect an anti-war candidate, quiet the critics as they now have "their man" in office and... DON'T CHANGE a THING... or even expand operations.  You don't quiet all of the anti-war crowd, but you do take out a majority.

The Clinton/Perot/Bush election has an amazing similarity to Wilson/Teddy R/Taft election of 1912.  Look at the election results... all of the percentages are withing 3-4 points.  A relatively popular R incumbent looses to a "vessel" when the vote is split by a 3rd party.  Wilson gave us the federal reserve and WWI... a banker paradise.

Another little piece:

Remember when Perot "dropped out" of the race for a while, leaving his supporters hanging?

Then "re-entered" the race, sloughing off a lot of supporters, earning just enough votes to not be a "viable" candidate?

He dropped out due to threats to his family, and never really mentioned why he suddenly came back in.  Maybe more threats?

I don't think there were ever any threats.  I think what happened... he was on the verge of winning... and that WASN'T the point.  The point was to elect Clinton.  He shed voters to play the role that was always intended.

Another curious point... Perot, who was a fabulous debater (in a folksy sort of way, but effective none-the-less) completely FAILED in his post election debate vs. Al Gore on NAFTA.  He looked like a bumbling idiot.  By design?

I'm convinced that Bush Sr is the only non stooge elected to be President since 1980. Even in 1984 Reagan had been thoroughly stoogified. In which case, it will be very interesting if Jeb does magically pop up at the convention.

Anywho, Ron Paul's delegate strategy can work but I'm not sure if it will work next round if he runs third party due to how delegates are given out. Many Ron Paul controlled precincts would lose their delegates since people didn't vote Republican in the election.

If by non-stooge you mean he was already a relative insider and therefore not simply an empty suit carrying out the wishes of his handlers, I might agree.  But he served the same interests as everyone else.  I think the one who slipped through the cracks was JFK.  But "they" even thought they had their guy with JFK.  The belief being that his father would run the show behind the scenes.  Only his father had a stroke and the influence was gone.  JFK was a rogue element.  I think you pretty much need to go back to Calvin Coolidge prior to JFK.  Just my opinion.

We agree.  Dick Cheney was kind of a non-stooge for the sake of our conversation.  Have you ever read the story about the failed assassination attempt on Carter?  Leads me to believe he was also a bit of a mishap... at least not totally controlled.  The message was sent.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymond_Lee_Harvey - The names "Lee Harvey" and "Osvaldo" (Osvaldo is the Spanish equivalent to "Oswald") drew comparisons to Lee Harvey Oswald, the assassin of President John F. Kennedy. This led conspiracy theorists to claim that the incident was set up to scare Carter into submission.

Trilateralists are not three-sided people. They are members of a private, though not secret, international organization put together by the wealthy banker, David Rockefeller, to stimulate the [E]stablishment dialogue between Western Europe, Japan and the United States. But here is the unsettling thing about the Trilateral Commission. The President-elect [Carter] is a member. So is the Vice President-elect Walter F. Mondale. So are the new Secretaries of State, Defense and Treasury: Cyrus R. Vance, Harold Brown and W. Michael Blumenthal. So is Zibigniew Brzezinski, who is a former Trilateral director and Carter's national security adviser, also a bunch of others who will make foreign policy for America in the next four years. The Establishment crowd "got the message." Soon after, Katherine Graham, Chairperson of the Board of Washington Post Companies, was offered a Trilateral membership to go along with her memberships in the Bilderberg Group and Council on Foreign Relations. From then on, that leading newspaper no longer felt it necessary to shine the light of truth on the newest of "private" organizations. -

Romney is a total phony. Worse, he's a traitor to his own nation.

Mitt says to "ask him anything". Well, I think the 10 questions Mr. Ott asks in this piece linked below REALLY need some answers, and FAST.  Mitt Romney is a totally committed vassal of the cynically misnamed "state of Israel".  IN FACT, he's even had his own high-level Mossad handler for many years now.

We have our own so called "conservative" prime minister here in Canada and yes I fell for it-silly me thinking somebody who called themselves a conservative would lower taxes and decrease the size of government (and its intrustions), rather than print money, bail out banks, suck up to the US militairy industrial banking complex and build super prisons (and build a US style police state).

The positive take away is that I'm awake now many thanks to ZH and the posters here.

I tire of this lib/conservative litmus test.  It is a sham to keep the population at each other's throats.  The 2 parties in Washington battle it out in the presses during the day, then share cocktails at night laughing at us.

At this point, I would be happy simply with an honest person with a good head on their shoulders.  Not many of them around.

People who make independent decisions rather than toeing a party line don't usually get into the primaries much less through them.

I believe there must be something systemic in the way the U.S. is structured that prevents the establishment of a viable third party.

That is exactly what the boomer generation was saying in the 1960s and 1970s. We (I'm one of them myself) knew what was wrong and we knew all the answers We knew we could do better than the crowd that fought WW II. We knew that overseas adventures (Dominican Republic, VIet Nam) were wrong. We knew that the military-industrial complex was bad. We knew that free speech was good. Then we came to power, first in Congress and cabinet posts, and finally in the presidency with Bill Clinton. We, the boomer generation, proved just as corrupt and incompetent as the previous generation of leaders. We became them.

Good luck with thinking a newer generation can fix things. I hope I'm around long enough to see if it makes a difference.

Edit:

From the USA conservative party platform (sorry for the bold, I cannot seem to change it):

"Marriage is Between One Man and One Woman"

"Government Employees Should Not be Unionized"

"Make English the Official Language of the United States"

"America should adopt measures to help revive and sustain economic vitality."

Seems like statists to me.

You are confusing a platform to distract the American people and reach the lowest common denominator with what conservatives believe.

If a man and a man or a woman and a woman want to get married do be it. It's their choice. Lord knows I didn't get it right with my wife.

Government employees , well last time I checked they worked for we the people and we the people should be allowed to fire them at will. They certainly shouldn't be provided more pay and better benefits than are available to us. And they sure as hell shouldn't be feeling up our grannies and kids at the airports.

As for English as a the official language ... Well our education system is doing a good job of destroying that.

I don't know how you can argue against adopting measures to help revive the economy. It seems to me a little less government , a dead fed and some dead banks will go a long way to helping that cause.

Again those are all distractions though.

You are confusing your personal interpretation of what the word "conservative" means with some external component of our shared reality.

Language doesn't work like that, and there's nothing that makes one interpreter the "most correct" person to define all the words in the language.

There's very little to suggest what the proclaimed "conservative" believes about *ANY* political question.  I guarantee if you talk to enough people who call themselves "conservative," you'll find a very broad array of opinions expressed about whether this or that is the best way to do things.

I posted a link a few days ago, dunno if anyone bothered to look at it, but the evidence from the past 15 years or so is that there are significant structural differences in the brains of people who hold systemically different "political" perspectives.  "The Authoritarians" was the first mainstream book I recall to specifically publicize the scientific results which suggest that what defines the authoritarian world-view is actually a question about how those folks' brains operate.

Here's another crack at similar research, anyway, maybe someone who hasn't seen this yet would find it interesting...

I am all for smaller gov doc, you know I am an anarchist.  The word "conservative" in todays lexicon means what the people who say the word say it means.

And that is just the stereoisomer of liberalism.  Same state power applied in a different way.

All of the platform pieces that are there (american conservative party) are illustrating the problem.  That government has the power to solve any of these problems, and more importantly, are they authorized to do so.

Today, state power is overlooked for the benefits bestowed by it.

That is the problem that I have.  Not whether they do good or not, but the fact that they are there.

The Top 400 People in the United States Earned (or the Irrevocable Trust Fund, Lucky Sperm Club, 400 Stole? Depending on your view as a SLAVE!) 93% of ALL! Profits last year.. with the other 7% going to the 299,000,000 of us!

So? either Taxing the 400 or Eating the 400 Irrevocable Trust Fund Lucky Sperm Club Members?? I Vote we eat them! Before they have the Police and Army come and take our Guns! Like ALL the other Rights that have been handed Blindly! over by the Poor, Un-Educated, Majority of the United States!

With the caveat, The 400 Richest are in FACT NOT the Richest 400 in America.. not even close. As individuals.. the Nuevo Riche’.. Let their Ego’s Rule Them.. Hence they as individuals are worth “X” amount, per the Taxes NOT! Paid! The Truly Riche’ have ALL! over their Monies in Irrevocable Trusts.. on and off shore.. therefore! The individuals that are beneficiaries of the Trust are worth NOTHING! And the Monies are un-attachable.

The Forbes 400 are as a rule management for others who have money. Because your building has you name on it.. does not mean you own the Mortgage. This Translates into ALL DEBT! Held!

The Private Bankers.. that no one ever sees or hears about.. Control JP Morgan.. it is their Money in the Bank as well as shares held, controlling interest(s) in ALL! things of Real Value.

I Promise you and everyone the Jews! Who are a distraction.. don’t own anything.. they are Management. Aaron Lopez the Slave master of North America.. worked under the blessing of the Royals of Europe.. who all collected the lion’s share of monies earned. Anyone who sells you any idea different than that is a LIAR or Ignorant.

The Owners.. are NOT the Forbes 400..

The Jews are NOT the Owners, they are Managers.

Money is Free Speech and Corporations are People.. NOT! because the management wanted it that way!

Sworn before Congress, Prior to taking the Bench the Strict Constitutionalists (Republican Nominated or Democratic.. makes no difference) ignored the constitution as a WHOLE! Because the powers that be wanted it that way.

And because no one will provide the thinkers a P & L for these people.. they do NOT exist! LOL!!

Crack Pots.. mostly! who have been kidnapped by aliens and probed.. try to shine a light (publicly) on these powers.. always with a HD Camera and website to post it on.. these rants are captured and shared with the Masses.. leaving the masses thinking there is NO Reasonable Person who would even entertain the idea of Blue Blood, Good Families who have Controlled the United States for Generations! And will continue to do so.. the Public Relations War was lost LONG before any of us were born.

The real issue.. is WHY?? Are the Powers that be Letting.. or in FACT! Stirring the pot.. the only end result is Social Unrest.. so why do they WANT! Social Unrest?

And please any of you that think you have out smarted them.. and that We the Sheepeople are somehow coming into our own! Against the power that they wield.. go sit in the Corner and let the Grownups Speak!

Why do they want US! Up in arms? They are leading everyone to the Jews! As the Bad Guys!

Are they looking to clear out management? Thru the use of We the Sheepeople Force?

So that they can then step in and save us from our animal urges? Thusly dis-arming us??

What is their plan??

No matter what the majority of THINKERS! Will walk right past the Truly Riche’ to blame others! So they have already won.

Illicit Israeli Military Technology Transfers Continued Amidst US State Department Infighting - Audit

In March of 1992 US State Department inspector general Sherman Funk issued his "Report of Audit" about efforts to stem illegal Israeli transfers of US military technology. The report found Israel "is systematically violating U.S. arms control laws." Israel lobbyist funds US Presidents, Israeli Nukes, AIPAC disinformation
FBI files released under the Freedom of Information Act unveil new details about the life of influential lobbyist Abraham Feinberg (1908-1998). Feinberg is best known for funding President Harry S Truman's "whistle stop" campaign, saving Truman's 1948 election campaign from almost certain defeat. In an interview, Feinberg summarized his long success in Democratic Party politics: "My path to power was cooperation in terms of what they needed—campaign money."

According to new histories of Israel's clandestine nuclear weapons program including "Israel and the Bomb" by Avner Cohen (1998), Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion secretly named Feinberg his chief nuclear weapons fundraising coordinator in 1958. According to Michael Karpin's "The Bomb in the Basement" (2007) Feinberg and 25 others contributed $40 million to the Israeli nuclear weapons program against opposition from presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy.

Dennis Ross sidelined at State over his foreign agent status with Israel

...
In January of this year, the Institute for Research: Middle Eastern Policy (IRmep) issued a press release on Ross and the JPPPI and its predecessor Israeli government-funded operations in the United States. IRmep stated: “In the 1960s the Senate Foreign Relations Committee uncovered a network of stealth Jewish Agency ‘conduits’ financing grassroots Israel lobby start up groups through the American Zionist Council (AZC). During 1963 hearings the Senate revealed the equivalent of $35 million went toward U.S. lobbying, including $38,000 to American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) founder Isaiah Kenen between 1960-1961.”

In November 1962, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy required the AZC to register as a foreign agent pursuant to the 1938 Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). The AZC shut down and transferred its lobbying activities to AIPAC. Ross never registered as a foreign agent under FARA after becoming chairman of the Jewish Agency-funded JPPPI in 2002. Ross’ failure to declare himself as an agent of the Israeli government contributed, in part, to Clinton’s decision to remove his Iran portfolio.

Israeli Nuclear Arsenal Prohibits US Foreign Aid Under Symington Amendment

...The declassified US Army report titled "The Joint Operating Environment 2008" identifies Israel as a nuclear weapons power. Specifically the US Army highlights "a growing arc of nuclear powers running from Israel in the west through an emerging Iran to Pakistan, India, and on to China, North Korea, and Russia in the east." Jimmy Carter became the first former President to confirm in 2008 that Israel has secretly financed, developed and deployed an undeclared arsenal of nuclear weapons.

The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 as amended by the Symington Amendment of 1976 and the Glenn Amendment of 1977 prohibit US military assistance to countries that acquire or transfer nuclear reprocessing technology outside of international nonproliferation regimes. Israel, unlike Iran, is not a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. If Congress wishes to provide US taxpayer funded foreign aid to Israel in compliance with US law, it may do so only under a special waiver from the office of the President as in the case for Pakistan.

Documents Reveal AIPAC Trade Secrets Leak Leading to $71 Billion Export Loss

...Since the agreement was signed in 1985, US trade with Israel shifted from surplus to a cumulative $71 billion deficit (adjusted for inflation). The 2008 $7.8 billion deficit with Israel was equivalent to 126,000 US manufacturing related jobs. It is the only bilateral FTA producing multi-billion dollar losses to the US every year for the last decade but total losses are still unknown. According to IRmep director Grant F. Smith the agreement was the beginning of a chain reaction of intellectual property theft documented by industry associations and US counterintelligence agencies: "US corporations were betrayed by the leaks of their intellectual property during treaty negotiations in 1984. US pharmaceutical, defense and other industries continue to lose billions in revenue to Israeli copy-cat merchandise. We are only beginning to fully understand the larger impact of AIPAC and the Israeli government's ongoing acquisition of classified US information."

Dennis Ross Chairmanship of Israeli Government Funded Think Tank Could Torpedo Iran Envoy Job

...Since 2002 former American diplomat Dennis Ross has filed no FARA activity declarations. This could be a problem according to IRmep director Grant F. Smith. "The US Department of Justice has always asked US recipients of Jewish Agency funding -- whether the American Zionist Council and its US executives, or the Jewish Agency's New York office -- to register as agents of a foreign principal. With US-Iran diplomacy and restoration of productive relations looming so urgently, now is certainly not the time to resurrect foreign agent registration battles."

One World Missile Defense!

SUSRISblog | April 18, 2012

The GCC Challenge in Missile Defense

Two weeks ago U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited Saudi Arabia for bilateral talks with King Abdullah and other leaders in the Kingdom. She also participated in the inaugural US-GCC Strategic Cooperation Forum while in Riyadh. Among the short list of topics on Clinton's agenda for discussion at the forum, during a time of high anxiety over issues like Iran and Syria, was the preparedness of America's Gulf allies in the area of missile defense. As tensions in the Gulf over Tehran's nuclear program reach new heights the United States and its Gulf partners are more mindful than ever of the ballistic missile threat posed by Iran.

A State Department official briefing the press enroute to Saudi Arabia identified missile defense among the key topics for discussion, "We’re working with each of our partners to develop that architecture because in order to protect the Gulf, no one nation can protect itself. It needs to rely on its partners in order to have an effective missile defense system." A second briefer noted, "it’s something.. ..appropriate for the GCC as a regional organization. Since missile defense requires a regional approach, it’s an appropriate topic to be discussed and addressed."

Your "rights" are not for the government to give or take away.  You're the only one who can decide what they really are.

You might be killed for your beliefs, sure, but that's the way this whole thing works.

If you think about the Bill of Rights from a different angle, you see that most of the specificallly enumerated stuff concerns issues that no government could *ever* possibly control.  You have a "right" to free speech not because the Founding Fathers wanted people to spend their time bitching, but because no one has ever figured out a good way to shut someone up.

You have a "right" to worship whatever you like because how in the hell is government going to mandate what occurs within your own mind?

You're only free if you decide to be, and it has very little to do with your ability to rent a piece of land or ingest chemicals or cross borders.

brandon - everything you said is true including your decidedly dovish statements about that total piece of shit michael aquino who was at the core of the child abductions of the of 1970s and 80s targeting young boys for recruitment into republican child sex rings almost entirely of the homosexual variety.....this operation was centered in omaha and ran straight to the bush,sr white house....i cannot begin to describe the cruelties and murders which occurred under this program which still operates....the bohemian grove atrocities would make any normal person's skin curl and fall off....barney frank was also involved in purchasing under age boys forhis  sexual appetites....

no one who loves freedom should even for a moment think of voting for romney or ever succumb to the brain washing argument of voting for the less of two evils. write in another candidate. and as you point out obama is no different.....

there are no checks or balances in our fractional government?

the supreme [supremacy law is politically endowed] court now can obliberate any congressional [veto acts of congress] laws,... and presidential mandates

the potus can declare war upon any nation without congressioal consent

the congress can, and has shredded/ destroyed many of 'the bill-of-right'

Ps. since 1869 [note date: potus ,andrew johnson **dem-union party?] there has been a standardized number set of 'nine justices' with lifetime appointment  **[article III]

Ps2. The average nations tenure of supreme court justices since 1869 has been approx. fifteen [15] years --- marketable as it may sound,... since 1970 [?] it has increased to more than twenty-six [26] years.

Ps3. the framers were worried as they should have been, that the checks and balances of executive, congressional, and judicial branches would become compromised. the results could bring back a monarchy, or even worse an oligarchy. the open arbiter, is to the people of the united states that the true meaning of justice must adhere to,... it is therefore the law of the land for the constituency and not segregated by prejudiced ideologies, and cronyism.

Finally,... what matters most for our country is to put a stop to the imbalances, and the lack of juristic prudence brought about by fifty [50] yrs. of stacking the kangaroo courts of america. they have literally undone 200 years of a progressive movement and have become activist with no regard for the written law as the framers were so careful to prescribe. this is why were screwed - but, i'll still choose ROMNEY over bambi anyday of the week!  *** i just hope he doesn't give cofer black a high post in his administration, like cia, or even head of HLS[ scary]

Have you ever been offered a flavor of ice cream you're not familiar with and you flat out say, "No Way!"

What if we took a chance on a new flavor in the blind? What if we just said yes simply because we wanted to choose something new and be adventurous. What's the worst it could do? Ice cream is still ice cream so even if we didn't like it, we'd still eat it.

Same goes for all this political stuff. The Ron Paul's of the world cannot be accepted because they can not be properly distributed. They cannot get shelf space. They are not allowed on the trucks or into our homes for any level of momentum building ground swell in popularity.

The only way around it is to choose in the blind. We as a nation must find a way to take a leap of faith. To choose that which is not being sold to us. To try a new flavor.

Yeah, let's expunge all vestiges of religious thought from our laws. Down with laws based on "thou shalt not commit murder" or "thou shalt not steal". Down with laws that institutionalize charity. We can't have government operating on the example of the good Samaritan.

So what if they have political influence? So do unions. So do corporations. The time I object to political influence coming from religious institutions is when they try to use the government to tell me who I must worship and how I must worship, or if I must worship at all. That's why the First Amendment starts out with "Congress shall pass no law...".

That's what everyone thought in 38 Germany.  You thnk this is crazy, Obama is not a fascist?  Look at Drudge today, with the ABCNBCCBS news logos miimicking the Obama logo.

We have big problems, most of them can be undone IF we eliminate the most dangerous problem first.  Voting for anyone other than Romney is a mistake.

A majority will NOT vote for Ron Paul because TeeVee tells them not to.

You can't be serious.  Do you actually think the results with Romney would be any different from Obama?

Let me clue you in...

Cheney and the neo-cons are still in charge.  This cabal took control of the U.S. government by stealing the 2000 election and then the 2004 election.  They followed the PNAC agenda to a "t" including 911, invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan, et. al. PATRIOT act, establishment of DHS, NDAA, executive orders, you name it, they're behind it.

They let Obama in office with the proviso he would champion their causes.  He's followed their demands. Most of what Obama has done while in office is just "P.R. for the plebes".  Anyone else they let in, Romney included, will continue the charade.  The 2008 financial "meltdown" was part of the plan as well.  Lather, rinse, repeat.

Should a Ron Paul or anyone else slip into office accidentally and make the mistake of thinking they're running things, they'll be dealt with JFK-style.

This shit doesn't just "happen".  It's all a grand plan.

And that's the truth.

most of the Obama voters see him as a victim.. he would be a more effective president IF ONLY the Congress did not obstruct him, using partisan threats. most people fail to understand that Congress has no authority. they have given that authority to central bankers and the potus. it wasn't hard for W Bush to take even greater hubris into the executive office when the Congress was a majority in the GOP. you wonder when Congress will demand that we return their authority?

Congress would be more popular if they could stop the illegal wars, (their authority by the Constitution) and control the expansion of debt through monetization (their authority through the Constitution) and they could control the budget (their power written into the prinicple of checks and balances)

if Congress took back their power they would be more popular the President would be able to do a better job. this is a Constitutional problem. SCOTUS has to take some responsibility, but they are largely partisan hacks whose majority tends to favor Ayn Randian corporate rights and corporate welfare.

they appointed w bush president, which i repeat, demonstrates this is a Constitutional crisis.

Solution for 99.99% of human slaves being ruled by the psychopathic 0.01%:

The Federal gov is too big, too powerful, too intrusive, inefficient and does not represent the interests of the majority of Americans; just like the 5 largest banks! The ruling power pyramid should allow more power as one moves from federal to state to county levels and be accountable to the majority of voters (via referendums), not political parties or lobbyists. These thousands of small "democratic experiments" at the county level will lead to the optimum form of government for it's citizens and will differ depending on the priorities of each county. This solution minimizes the concentration of power and abuse while giving an equal vote and fair representation to all citizens!

They all suck.  Some claim Ron Paul is different but he's more of the same.

Isn't it a little ironic that he has teamed up (book - The Case for Gold) in the past with a guy (Lewis Lehrman - CFR and PNAC) who is now calling for new global currency (PNAC report - The Creation of International Money Order) based on gold and his largest fundraiser (Peter Thiel - GoProud, Bilderberg steering committee member) is the founder of the world's leading digital money company (PayPal - not to mention CIA's wet dream come true Facebook). Rand Paul is also involved as a proponet for digital gold.

I don't know about you but the hairs on the back of my head stand up and I get just a little suspicious based on everyone that is involved as well as the globalist angle. I can't think of a more perfect scenario for the globalists who are trying to create a global monetary system based on a single currency.

Just out of curiosity, what's that big "fear of a global government" all about?

If your government were doing a good job of representing your interests, protecting your security, and addressing your concerns, is there any reason to care that it serves the whole planet?

The approach in place now, where we have a few hundred competing governments, most of which do a TERRIBLE job, doesn't really seem so great either.

to borrow the phrase from Reagan "Moral Relativism" has no validity. you can't allow prison labor (or socialist, or subsidized labor and industry to compete with free markets). serves the whole planet at whose expense? serve everyone and you serve no one.  Reagan didn't walk the walk, even if his thoughts are correct on the subject. (in fact it was during Reagan that China started slipping into the global economy, by outsourcing shoes parts to HK) which President has not served the interests of Wall Street? and the interests of Wall Street are what? multinational companies which extract wealth to the benefit of the 1%, who know no borders other than money and power.

But I've never heard from anyone who's hysterical about the threat of one-world-government ever explain what the big fear is.  I don't understand a lick of your reply--moral relativism has nothing to do with it.

It seems to me that this is a throwback to the indoctrination during the Cold War period--"communism" was the evil menace that sought to RULE THE WORLD, and we had to fight it and fear it constantly.  But there's no credible global communist conspiracy anymore, so the fearmongering needs a new subject.

Are you really that obtuse?

The fear of one-world govenrment is the fear of there being NO possible option of escape from it --- no matter where you go on earth, you will always be subject to that single overwhelming power, with no possibility of removing yourself from outside its clutches.

But to be honest, I can't see the current world situation viz-a-viz the growing power of governments as all that fundamentally different either.  It amazes me how little it it commented upon, even by those here, that the trend towards growing governmental surveillance, taxation and control of their citizens is not only worldwide, with NO exceptions to that rule of which I am aware, but remarkably uniform in its pace as well --- it is almost as if national boundaries have already been effectively erased by some hidden higher power.

it is almost as if national boundaries have already been effectively erased by some hidden higher power.

There's nothing "hidden" about the flows of money.  That's what's wiped out national borders.  Money is a far more effective means of direct physical power than legislation could ever be.

Not surprised you didn't pick up on that, tho.  Too busy chasing the shadows in your mind.

Neo-Con or Neo-Com (mie) are both sinister. However, a look back at Bush and Clinton creates a desire for either, and the days before America become infected with Obamarian Cancer.

Obama needs to go. Unfortunately, he is the Democrat candidate, and Mitt is the poor choice of the Republicans. At this fork in the road, we can continue left which is proven to be a ride off of a cliff with no return, if we go right, to the unknown.

In looking at the Obama speeches, the words I, me, and my dominate the speech rather than America, USA, our Country. In his getting elected, that seemed correct because he was the MAN with the VISION and I was enthused. Now he is the man that fooled America, USA, and my Country and has us tottering on the very brink of destruction.

For better or worse, Obama needs to go. We need to have caution about the House and Senate and keep the more responsible members regardless of party, and I admit that is a very naive statement. let us TRY to keep the less corrupted

This country is being dragged down by the Progressives in both parties; the so-called fake conservatives in the Republican Party(neo-cons, Romney, Bushes, Bloomberg etc) and the extreme left of the Democratic Party(which is 100% Progressive, Socialist, Marxist, Obama etc).  The Progressive movement was born from the banking cartel usual suspects; Rockefellers, Roosevelts etc and so it pursues its logical end. The Progressive controlled media has force fed the Republican nominee by establishing the narrative for the finale, they had to make sure both sides of the same coin made it to the end. The only difference between the 2 parties now is that while the Dems appear to be 100% controlled, the Republicans are what I estimate about 80% including some of the "Tea Party" variations, but even here the Democrats have run some of their people under that guise. Much like Bloomberg or Romney running as Republicans.

Along the same lines, should RP take the white house, realizing the system is set up to collapse if we do what needs to be done (meaning if we scaled back the federal government to only what it should be doing which would necessitate about a 70% reduction in federal spending) then the collapse would of course be blamed on RP and like-minded libertarians/conservatives (and by conservatives I in no way mean Republicans).  That surely wouldn't help the cause in the long term.

RP is the only real candidate and he has my vote, but I question what would be accomplished if he were fortunate enough to win.

In theory, if you elect the right hero, you can get all kinds of changes made that would never get off the ground in a conversation about what's "politically possible."

The big problem is, you're not going to accomplish anything budget-wise until you end the transfer payments, and you can't end them overnight because there's no infrastructure to support the survival of all the current recipients.

If you're committed to keeping the USA around, I'd suggest building infrastructure for all the deadbeats.  Cafeterias, dormitories, video/Internet arcades, those sorts of things.

Then once folks have gotten used to the concept of free food and a free room to sleep in, you cut off all the checks.

Seems to me from reading the comments we have a loose concensus that neither party reflects any "choice", as this article's graphic demonstrates, DEMS and GOP are really the same thing, just different spin on issues such as taxes and social issues.

The time is ripe for a real third-party.  Unfortunately the Libertarian party is the largest of the "also-rans" but since most Libertarians I've met are lawyers, they can't agree on anything.

Maybe our move is to just write in Ron Paul and hope something sticks.  I sure as hell would not vote for Romney, and as for Obama, fool me once, shame on you, fool me again....oh nevermind.

A viable third party represents a continued, albeit misplaced, faith in what politicians, and by extension government, can do to get us out of the mess we're in. Short of wars and money printing, can-kicking and loss hiding, vote buying and freedom killing, where can our government take us from here?

Just remember folks, ALL of this is (decent into a True Plutocratic State) is as a result of the Citizens United vs FEC decision, handed down (5 to 4, naturally...) by The Roberts Court.

The GOP Closet Homo Faction - always eager to suck someone's dick - realized that their Future Participation in Electioneering/Goverence/Big Business was about to be wiped out by an electorate concerned about their own self interest and, the future of our once great country. So, what we got - just like the pending legitimization of Federal Mandate Provisions in the Affordable Care Act - was more Elections Bought By The Uber-Wealthy. Roberts - and, the GOP - knows who butters their bread. And it aint the Common Man.

While you are obsessed with what influence campaign donations might buy, like so many others you completely miss the consequences of our "progressive" tax system where the richest 1% are depended upon for 38% of income tax revenue, corporations are depended upon for 15% of overall revenue, and the revenue of the dependent 50% of this nation's citizenry contributes in income taxes what is barely a rounding error. We're bought and paid for, yes, but by choice.

How old are you, 12? Roberts Court? Lincoln kicked off the drive for central government uber alles, Wilson began the Fed to set the stage for the out of control financial sector and Roosevelt established the welfare state whereby all the proles must rely on their dear leaders for sustenance.

The dragons teeth were sown long, long ago. The Blue Team/Red Team thing at this point is for morons and if you think Team Jackass is substantially any different you either dont pay attention or are dumb as a rock. Its been a steady deterioration for 150 years.

I am exercising my right Not to vote in this election. It makes no sense to cast a vote for one Party or another and have them think they are doing a good enough job for your vote. Besides, at this point in the future of America it makes No difference who is in charge. The FAIL train has already left the $tation several years ago.

From reading these posts I agree with most as to, there is really no difference between both parties. They are both leading us down a path to ruin, planned out by their masters, the central banks of the world. I understand the different positions (not voting, voting 3rd party). If Obama is re-elected, he will not be constrained and will be more "flexible" to pass his REAL agenda for America. By not voting, Obama wins. By voting 3rd party, Obama wins. I'm not excited about Romney, but at least he will be constrained by wanting to be elected for a 2nd term. Just hold your nose and vote for him!

Romney has a chance because all of the sheep spend most of their time drooling over Dr. Phil or Dancing with the Stars or .....you get the idea....

I hate to say this, but it makes no meaningful difference who gets elected in November. We are way past the point where the things that need to be different can be changed without shocking amounts of violence and hardship, even if a leader arrived with the commitment to set things right. The legions of mandarins will not go quietly, and their partners, the great many who must learn to fend for themselves are uniquely unprepared to do so. They will conspire to defend their entitlement culture in ways it is difficult to imagine right now.

So let's cut to the chase, instead of meaningless appeals for better candidates.

- the world economies are soon to crash
- Europe will enter chaos and will re-form with an even stronger central grip over its people
- the US economy will tank, currency devalue and maybe fail, and we will be on the verge of civil war among regions of the country
- racism will be blamed for economic chaos and inequality to add fuel to the fire

So all this talk about 2012 candidates - where is the talk of a viable third party and alternative system to emerge? There won't be a need for a revolution - we'll be handed chaos on a platter, and the question for us all is who will lead this country out of it? Where's the plan? Where's the organization?

ZH'ers are all piling up gold knowing this is coming? What will you do after its come? It will be time to rebuild, so better start figuring it out now, and ignore the D-R parade as its days are numbered.
