"I Am Jim Rogers And I Support Ron Paul"
Ron Paul has another illustrious supporter - Jim Rogers. The Quantum fund co-founder, who has been spot on about pretty much everything for the past 3 years (see Roubini Versus Rogers Is Right Debate for 2010: Investor Jim Rogers thinks gold will double to at least $2,000 an ounce. Economist Nouriel Roubini says that’s “utter nonsense.” As these well-known market personalities duke it out, they’re doing us a favor by highlighting a critical debate: Which is the bigger threat -- inflation or deflation?), not to mention gold (to the amusement of such Keynesian soundbites recorded for posterity as the following: "Maybe it will reach $1,100 or so but $1,500 or $2,000 is nonsense"), and especially inflation (perhaps the only thing that will prompt a chuckle out of Gadaffi and Mubarak these days is someone telling them that their multi-decade reigns are over due to hyperdeflation and plunging food prices), was caught on tape voicing his endorsement of the only sane person who can possibly do something for this country. "In this election if Ron Paul gets anywhere near the nomination I would certainly support him. He is the only one that I've seen in American politics that seems to have a clue about what's going on." Zero Hedge agrees on all counts.

PaprWillBurn,@13:33,
Doesn't matter much if you're buying bars or bracelets
Sure it does, you will be far more likely to be keeping jewelry made of PM's, than Eagles, etc.
IMHO.
I'd think the greater the wealth disparity and the higher the price of PMs and jewels the less jewelry may be adorned publicly.
Not sure why anyone else is junking you... It's a great point.
Any resoucre can exhibit currency characteristics based on demand, and I agree that as long as the purchasing value of a person's savings can't be confiscated via arbitrary creation of said currency, the world would be much better off...
The issue we face as a species is that there are people who want to DENOMINATE the value of any/all currencies so that they can implement a legal basis to take some fraction of your productivity (or your savings) away from you and use it for purposes that you may not endorse or condone. This is fundamentally unethical.
A cow farmer should be able to price his beef for whatever he wants in exchange for it... and the market should be able to set a price that it is willing to pay for said beef.
The basis of the bid ask spread is the foundation of all efficient markets.
Money that does not serve double duty as viable capital is a corruptive force to free markets. It must therefore be extinguished once and for all.
thank you. i dont post often but this is the first time ive been super junked
if i want to pay laborers at my house or my suppliers through my business in cases of bottled water and they accept it than bottles of Poland Spring is my currency
The feds will get you as they have already outlawed barter. They want to tax anything and everything. When Nicolas Tesla threatened to publicize his patent of static electricity and give practically everyone free power generation, Morgan made the comment that he would not allow anything that he cannot put a metering device on it. (for taxation) there you have it.
You now can not store rain water falling on your property in some states.
Thank you for your post, Oracle.
BTW, good to see you're still around.
how many people have been convicted of bartering in the US?
how many are awaiting trial right now? what jurisictions are they being held in? links?
or maybe something real if that's too much of a problem, ok, to come up with the Bartering Dragnet?
let's leave tesla out of it, and the rainwater herring, and just give me the info on the "barter outlaws" ok? who, what, where, when, you know, styoooopid stuff like that, ok?
the problem w/ barteringfor labor at your house is that if somebody gets hurt on your property, working for you, they are probably gonna own yer property if they have even an average lawyer. you hafta be much more careful with labor than w/ suppliers. if somebody gets blinded, no negligence anywhere, just an accident, while working for you in exchange for bottled water, (s)he'd better feel that you are the kinda person who will take care of her for the rest of her life or you are gonna have a plateful of lawsuit, even if you are polish
The enforcement of minimum wage laws will convert your currency from Poland Spring into cigarettes, tattoo work and homosexual favors.
You forgot young vintages of toilet wine.
yep, right up to the point that you need workmen's comp...someone had an accident with a forklift? who could have seen that coming?
My wife. She's in insurance and brings home tales that range from hilarious to the macabre.
And it says right on the bottle, "do not operate heavy machinery". ;)

Gold makes the perfect currency. It has minimal industrial uses. It does not offer any cash flows so it cannot be over-valued in the traditional sense. It is fungible. It has value because people throughout the ages have uniformly agreed that it is valuable. If industrial metals were currency that would be horrible. It would drive people to hoard a commodity that has immense utility to society. As result the price would rise dramatically. Eventually the price would drop like a rock when people realize that at the current high prices the industry metal has no utility to society. The best part about gold is that it does not have much use to society it just looks really good. People can hoard as much of it as they want and society will not be deprived of some vital commodity to industry. Pig Shit? That is absurd. You give me all your gold and I will give you pig shit in return.
koaj ,
most of the market for gold is in jewelry, not currency
You are SPOT on, it is.
But, one major flaw, MOST of the world buys PM jewelry as a store of Wealth, and their station in the caste systems,, and hierarchy.
But, for investment/store of wealth is #1.
Plus, Currency is by nature Paper.
Gold is not paper.
koaj
most of the market for gold is in jewelry, not currency
who's to say gold would be the currency anyway? why not silver? copper? pig shit? as long as governments and banking cartels cant devalue it at will and rob citizens who cares what the next currency is

Upcoming US presidential elections-On the Edge with Max keiser-08-26-2011
From: PressTVGlobalNews | Aug 27, 2011 | 6,691 views Loading... http://www.presstv.com/Program/196021.htmlIn this edition of On the Edge, Max Keiser interviews Alex Jones from infowars.com.
He talks about Ron Paul's bid for 2012 presidential elections.
Change zero to a fixed positive number and you may have a point.
It would fall big. The zero was meant for sensationalism as is everything on this site.
someone got their face ripped off during last month's equity plunge. poor fucking baby.
Nope, just observing the ZH agenda as it continues to breed herd cynicism as we have crossed the line where gold is a hedge to a collective hoping for mass destruction. Creative destruction at it's best.
please, by all means, expand on the zh "agenda" for me.
this should be good.
*crickets*
(not that i actually expected a response from a paid fed troll)
it's an s&p short accumulator algo.
Markets only go higher when open short interest is high. Must keep the engine well fueled.
Most people here have switched to physical coins, from making shorts in a broken market that ZH points out daily. That probably happened a few years ago. I don't think this website generates enough shorts to do anything like you speak of. Maybe 10-20% of posters mention actually playing options.
Damn. Where does I gets me one of those computin' machines that the start page is ZH and ya can't leave. Cool.
The mistake you are making is assuming this clown, Ramboy, has any money in the first place.
Nah, the biggest mistake is agreeing with the guy who has 34 green up arrows.
http://i53.tinypic.com/2gslr8i.jpg
I was referring to gold convertibility.
Doesn't Jim Rodgers listen to the cartel owned media? Ron Paul is fringe, unelectable, not a chickenhawk, doesn't support ponzi paper games, and has the balls to support the constitution!!!
Can we give Jim a break about the Quantum Fund? He is the antithesis of George Soros.
Nice try. ROFL
Bullish gold and voting Ron Paul is like enjoying long sausages and voting Palin.
if gold went to zero, then that would mean we have dislodged this parasitic banking system. so, i ask you what are the chances in this environment?
Or the bankers found a way to print gold. In any case, both are fairly unlikely.
and ram boy would not get his baby sucker. and have to change his own diaper
+ 1
Wouldn't that be a pity...
Guess everyone's long gold. Traders know how this all ends..
Yes, because ZH is full of the uninformed. There isn't a single trader, businessman, or economist here.
ZH is the street. Clearly.
Green tmosley.
Red ramboy.
I'll take the gold ramboy. You take whatever you want, just don't come crying to me if things go bad for you.
Responsibility, bitchez!
Methman, Ramboy, me thinks a pattern be detected here DCRB!
I'd happily take $35 gold. And 17 cent gasoline... and nickel Cokes....
Do the math on a gold standard. Gold would go to the moon. Ron Paul does not support fiat currency.
Incorrect, it will always be worth its weight in gold
more likely to $20.67 , if it was ron paul
I disagree, but I gave you a thumbs up because I feel sorry for you.
hahahahah!!!! "Gold would go to zero"
In which currency?
Bennie Bucks? hahahahah!!
good one, Bro!1
Spot-fucking-on.
Rogers- your stock just went up!
I read ZH and I support Ron Paul
+
I am a rolling bearing, read ZH, like gold, and want Ron Paul as our next President.
Rogers just said, "Become a Chinese Farmer, That's What You Should Do."
At some times in history, the financials types have been in charge; at other times in history the people who produced real goods have been in charge. It's the way the world has always worked. The key of course is to figure out what's coming next and go there. Become a Chinese farmer, that's what you should do. - in BBC News
What do you have against Chinese Farmers?
Are you some kind of racist pig?
Teehee and you got junked for a joke.
"Become a Chinese Farmer."
Might be greater demand for a healthy male that knows how to handle an AR. Guys like Jim are going to need an entourage to protect them from the zombie hoardes.
Huge, you earned the Order of the Green Arrow for the AR comment.
Unfortunately, for the peope in China, that's not an option. yet....
I am an American living in China, married to a Taiwanese whose family has large ag holdings in Shandong. They would "give" us a farm (for some discounted price) but my wife has talked me out of the investment, even though I love living on the land and working the soil......
I beleive she is right when she says the CCP would just come nationalize the land and make our production support the hundreds of peasant workers (comrades) forced upon us IF the SHTF in China.
Property rights laws are important, even if demand is insatiable and the biz model looks like a no-brainer.
You think the Kelo decision here helped property rights? I have a son in China and I told him to stay there.
Obama 2012!
Palin 2012!
Cain the "Pizza Magnate" 2012
Dr. No / The Judge, 2012 through real recovery.
No election 2012
I fear your thought greatly.
Perot 2012!
okay, that's fuckin' funny.
I gave you the +1. I'll vote for her just to get even with all those dumbfuck Obama voters. Payback is a bitch and her name is Palin.
;o)
Palin is not my current pick, but you are right.
MUCH better than Obama. even a couple of my liberal friends have turned against him. One even told me he likes Palin best of the bunch (!?).
I think people way underestimate her. Still, at this point, knowing very little about most of the R candidates, I guess I would pick Ron Paul No. 1, failing that Michelle Bachmann, IRS record and all. I can wait for the MSM and Lobbyists (I know one of the latter...) to dig up some dirt on the Rs however, so I can wait and pick later.
Ah, how sweet. I got a red arrow, lol.
This pig, the USSA, is going down so I might as well get some cheap entertainment from it. I can just hear the shrieks from the O-bots. LMFAO
Thank you. I can see China from my backyard which makes me qualified to be the POTUS. We should all thank that nice british band, Paul Revere, for helping America get its freedom.
CD and I would love to watch a cat fight between you and Michele Bachmann. Whoever said debates are dull.
+1 mud wrestling
bob_d @ 13;30,
U jus love stirring de shite.............LOL.
He has been GOOD for PM's.....................
It's just our world is rocked.

Vote with a Bullet! or live exactly the same way you always have.. either or.
Ron Paul, as Commander-in-Chief, will begin ordering the troops home on day one. No congressional approval necessary. We'll be richer and safer right off the bat. The rest will require some hard work but we'll get there with the good doctor in the lead.
Failing that it's time to give anarchy a try.
Great, just what we need...more unemployed people (many with PTSD and even more with good targeting skills).
Richer and safer? LOL
You're right because mass murder is always good for the economy. Let's slit Bastiat's throat first!
sure.. lets protest!
you wanna go camp on wall street?
how about paint some posters?
how about march? are you up to burn off all that anger thru taking a walk?
Peace, Love and Happiness!
maybe wall street will realize how wrong they are and turn a new leaf after the last 40 years of protests? embrace thier Christian side and forgo their evil nature! just one more or a couple more protests and they will come around?
how about this? when wall street and washington dc dont change.. after a few more protests.. at what point will you get off yoru ass and start voting with bullets?
let me guess? NEVER!
sooooooooooooooooo things will never change.. okie dokie then!
thanks for playing.
I have no idea what you're on about and neither, frankly, do you.
No war profiteers are probably the least efficient place to allocate capital invented by man, but that doesn't change the fact that hundreds of thousands of soldiers would be discharged and looking for work alongside the other 16-25% of unemployed Americans.
Forgive me for wanting presidential candidates to think their proposed policies through instead of coming up with something that sounds good on paper, but doesn't pan out in the real world.
As an example, what do you think happens to the price of gas when we wind down "Operation Southern Watch"? What do you think that does to the economy?
Do you think the rest of the world will change because RP won? Really? Really really?
Your trolling contract would be terminated. That would be worth it for me.
But your mindless drone contract would be a lifetime appointment.
He's Right Mr. Berkeley, you don't take into account the billions of debt we don't have to buy if we don't have the bases. Which at some point will prevent our currency from becoming obsolete, which is when the real fun begins. But since you keep buying your nag champa from Annapurna, you really don't care about the 70% of our own debt we are buying.
You DO realize that paying unneeded military personnel is absolutely no different than paying someone welfare, right? You do realize that the amount of money spent on said military personnel as at least an order of magnitude higher than just their salary, right?
If you feel oh so bad about having them unemployed, then give them a 100% unemployment benefit. We can use the other 90% we saved to cut the deficit to zero, and start paying down the debt.
But you would rather be a defeationist, I suppose.
I couldn't find defeationist in a dictionary and you've missed my point entirely. I don't want troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, or Saudi Arabia either, but that doesn't obviate the need to address the problems stated above.
And cutting the entire defense budget (y'know those other 'welfare' jobs making bombs, radars, and MREs) wouldn't make the deficit zero or pay down any of the debt.
lol, meant defeatist. Whatever.
No-one is talking about cutting the ENTIRE defense budget. But yes, withdrawing from the wars, and from Germany, South Korea, and Japan would in fact negate the current budget deficit.
Current US deficit: $1.4 trillion.
Cost of the wars: about $370 billion/year.
Cost of US military bases per year: about $660 billion/year.
Cost per soldier (training, equipping, etc): about $459,000
Number of soldiers: 1.477 million.
Number of reserves: 1.459 million (couldn't find the cost right away).
Cost for soldiers: about $677 billion
Number of soldiers and support staff required to maintain and operate nuclear deterrent and homeland defense: about 150,000
Should be quite easy for you to see how cutting the military back to pure deterrent level EVEN WHILE LEAVING THE RESERVES AS THEY ARE would more than make up for the current highly bloated budget deficit.
Never mind the fact that Don Rumsfeld lost track of $2.4 TRILLION during the Bush administration, which would never have been placed in jeopardy had we not been invading other countries.
But you keep making baseless assertions without even bothering to check the facts. It seems to be working so well for you here.
It's $1.5T, but what's a $100B between friends.
Your cost estimate is high even including med care for vets and financing of the appropriations (no, I'm not defending pissing money into the sand, I'd never have sent troops to any of the countries we're occupying now). I'll spot you $280B though...the appropriations for these misadventures are ridiculous.
The bases are more like $100B out of the $6XXB defense budget (I'm willing to look at hard evidence to the contrary; I've no personal interest in supporting the economy of Rammstein).
The cost per soldier is for combat troops, I hope you don't think all 1.5M of them are equipped with full kit. (150k troops in Iraq + Af-Pak) -> $75B
150k to defend the US is off by a factor of about 4 (assuming you mean repelling an attack on the continental US).
Rummy and the dumbass crew could not account for $24B, not $2.4T (someone check Eric Prince's pants).
You're the one who needs to check your "facts", but I'll look at whatever links you can substantiate with; otherwise, you're about $1T short.
I disagree in part. You are right about The Congress impeding anything meaningful. However a Ron Paul election would represent a massive upheaval of the current system. That would be hard to oppose. Ron and mayyyybe Herman Cain are the only ones that represent systemic change. As the system crashes...and it will, RP and those like him can continue to represent the alternative to the collectivist state.
You mean, Herman Cain ... the former Fed Chairman?
Regards,
Cooter
Yes. And Reagan was a Union boss...Actors Guild I believe.
You should look into the history of policies, including military actions, that have been unilaterally imposed by executive order. Those same things can be undone with executive order. So your thesis, excessive profanity notwithstanding, is invalid.
Actually, I think an RP presidency has two important implications:
Regards,
Cooter

The veto pen would be a mighty instrument, and bringing the troops home would save a lot.
Lost that lovin' feeling huh? Viagra helps!

He can undo every single executive order ever issued with the stroke of a pen. Considering the whoppers we have had to put up with over the last decade or ten, that's pretty damn good.
Never mind that he can also direct federal policing agencies to refrain from enforcing laws he considers unconstitutional.
The president has a lot more power than you seem to think.
Always good to see you, tmos. You and your troll slaying sword.
and why am I a troll? you fucking coward? if you have something on your mind spit it out.

I have posted that enough times that you know my answer before you ask me for it.
Nice to have you back.. my silver is better than your silver, lol!
I have been very busy with work of late. It's nice to have a break so I can post regularly.
You are right that he might be assassinated, but that would do little more than cause a mass uprising at this point. And it doesn't change the fact that the president DOES have the power to change a lot of things. Whether they do or not is a matter of competence and bravery, which RP has plenty of. Especially the bravery of old age, where one no longer cares so much about losing the few remaining years of his life. It's the same reason why dastardly secrets are spilt upon the deathbeds of even the most cowardly men.
I Pray EVERY!! Day! that something will ease the trannsition.. I Pray for less suffering or the least amount of suffering possible for the bulk of "We the People".
I HOPE!! and Pray! that something will give.. in a positive way..
I DREAM!! of someone smarter than myself putting together a plan of action that subverts this march to madness that we are all on.
I Support Ron but honestly..
I dont see a system changing with one man pushing.
I dont see one man pushing against the system and surviving.
and to quote myself from wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back when!
"I Hope and Pray that I am Wrong, I Hope and Pray Everything Works Out Smoothly Minus any serious injury to anyone"
BUT I FUCKING DOUBT IT!! the law of averages rules the World even more so than Money.

JW in FL,
Ever heard of ASSet forfeitures?.
Mr. Paul, could do a MASSIVE take back,he is not a member of the NWO gang(that's why he will never get the Nom), and if he WERE to get it, he would be dead in a nano second.JFK was the last POTUS that tried to GET a handle on this Multi Tentacled Beast.
And, he left earth early also.
IF he got control or both the Senate and the House.
Even if he did not, he could declare a Nat'l Emg, and do whatever he wanted to do what he pleased.
That's why the Evil Empire fears the old man from Tejas.
DosZap ,
seriously Dos? I give the guy money.. I dont hate him.. but that doesnt change some very tuff facts that he will have to live thru.. to say the least!
Nice one Turkey!
there is only two things from texas! steers and illegal aliens, LOL!

so far you have bitched at me about the fags in texas..

what do you have to offer us here other than fucking filler to scroll past?
or?
is that what we can expect more of? from you? cause there is not enough of that shit already here.
JW,
I am a long time lurker, but I seldom post unless I truly have something worthwhile to say. I find reading Mosley has helped me to understand more of the whys and hows of our financial system, such as it is. Turd F is another good one. As a substantial (by my financial means) convert to the validity of holding PMs, in particular silver, the analysis from Tmos is very enlightening. Tmos backs up his analysis with substantial indicators, something often lacking from other posters.
I see you frequently prefer to sling insults from behind a keyboard. Such is the type I like to meet mano-to-mano (but fully clothed, mind you).
What joy or usefulness have you brought to the world today?
other than encoraging you to be a useful member of society?
Nothin! LOL!!
and all that behind the computer shit.. you can see me when ever you want buddy.. nothing but air between us.. let me know? every here knows exactly who I am! I no fucking anon, hiding?
I am not your wife.. I dont need to hide from you..
Sincerely, James Edward Workman
JW,
Dude didn't say you hate him, he's lived thru more than 90% of this board. He has convictions, and balls of Titanium.
I do not know of ONE member of Congress, or anyone in D.C., that has been ridiculed, and blasphemed more, his entire creer.
It would be SO frigging nice to not have to worry if your going to jail for life, for something you never did, or thought about, like farting.
OOOPs........illegal methane release, that's 20yrs.
As I said, HE could declare a Natl Emg(and I damn sure think/know, we are way past one), and really shake the crap out.We need a GENERAL house cleaning, and he's the only one that knows it, and has the balls to do it.
PS: I'll keep the steers, and the illegals, you keep the gators, and the Cuban mafia/drug dealer cartels,,and the damned B52 mosquitos.................we be even.(<;
I dont think I have ever said that I hate the man..
but maybe on a rant, it is possible.. I will give you the benefit of the doubt..
as for supporting him.. sure.
but once again..
and I a fucking whipping post for speaking the truth.. which normal for this fucked up world we live in.
what can Ron accomplish..
NOT! what do I want him to be able to accomplish..
Not! what do you want him to accomplish..
he has a secret service that is part of the treasury.. which someone reminded me oof here the other day.. and the secret service will stand down..
aside from the secret service..
someone else mentioned here..
if Ron was to take office.. are things so far gone that no matter who is in office the train comes off the tracks? and does that Hurt Ron more? stuck driving a run away train?
I could go on with how Congress and the Senate are filled with Lobby Whores.. but that bit of truth no one seems to like and then! blames me for them being angry about the truth! YAY!! special ed kids!
JW, I always enjoy your rants, but I think tmosley and DosZap are reading a Ron Paul presidency better than you.
He could indeed accomplish many things, even with an unwilling Congress. Even with unwilling banksters. He's got balls, I think you would even concede that.
If they don't kill him first, or have a heart attack int the hot tub...
Everyone is taking this the wrong way for brownie fucking points..
including you!
I dont hate Ron Paul.
He is NO FUCKING JFK! but I dont Hate the man.
Do I choose him over someone else.. NO! I want a Republican in office to cut social security. I dont want Ron to sully his name.
so.. those ideas might be more complicated than most can grasp..
but! I think that Ron would give it a go.. but I dont think he would get to first base without a secret service stand down happening first.
so.. whether Ilike him or not? I like some of what he has to say.. not nearly all..
do I think if he is in office he will get shit on.. YES!
do I think I would rather have him to rrally behind after the shit hits the fan! YES!!
is anyone thinking that far ahead other than me? maybe a few, but it damn sure aint the popular thing to say!

The "eye" is about to go over me and it's nothing. This is not a bad storm.
RuPaul could get elected instead of Ron Paul through a careless data entry mistake at the board of elections

LOL @ comparing Jim Rogers to that roubini economist quack who probably never put his own money where his mouth is. I'll trust someone who made millions (billions) over some loser professor. Those who can do do, those who can't teach. Anyways, I'm glad I'm on the same page as Mr. Rogers. Ron Paul 2012!
Those who can't teach, teach gym.
So you'd trust Keynes over Hayek? LOL
I will throw myself under the bus here for us all!
I dont think that Keynes is the problem.
I think that having NO! protection from Greed is what has pushed us right up to the edge of the cliff.
CORRUPTION not Keynes.
Neither do I (most of what the mouth-foamers call Keynesian economics had nothing to do with the man); I was just pointing out that Keynes made money as an investor, Hayek was a poor nobel laureate (like P-Krug), and confusing wealth with knowledge of economics is ridiculous.
Bro..
I said I was jumping on a grenade for the sake of us all conversation wise.. not to harp on you?
my reputation is bad even with the people Ilike.. that sux!
You only get the purple heart, if the grenade was missing a pin! ;)
+1, though not completely sure I'd trust a Buffett or Soros or Blankfein because they've made billions. And I'd like to think Jim Rogers is teaching people a thing or two when he speaks.
If you think Ron Paul is going to materially change things, you're in for a surprise
so vote for a dishonest politician . that will solve everthing
Didn't say that. You did
and interestingly enough, he didn't say that you said that. you did.
Nice try. But he did. I just voiced some valid concerns, in the hope they'll be addressed. They're based on Ron's own statements concerning the Fed.
But you can believe whatever you want to believe. Just take the blue pill.
You sound more like one of those looking for someone "more catholic than the pope". I.e. a perfectionist who lost his grip on reality. And completely useless for solving real problems.
This comments section needs "electronpaul". I do support the good doctor. He is the best I've seen in the field.
Heh. I read it as Electron Paul, and liked it.
RP can win, should win and hopefully will win. No matter, he kas changed the debate radically, and opened many eyes to the financial charade our masters in the gov't play.
@Dick Fitz
You are my favorite anarcho-libertarian-homosexual. :-) Rainbow Coalition for Ron Paul 2012!
Awwww, If I could still blush, I would!
"Quantum Leap-Electron Paul!"
That has a nice ring!
Cursive,
Real men can publicly support their homosexual brothers without fear of their weenies being perceived as anything more or less than just a weenie.
Seriously, Bravo!
We are all bozos on this bus together, less fighting, more supporting each other, THAT could get an oddball like Ron Paul the nomination.
i'm with you on that score. but janus is no expert, whatever homos live in this area, they aren't terribly keen on confessing it; and so it is a good thing that i have resources to draw on in such situations -- professionals, if your follow. one such notable in the field of gayology is, you guessed it, david allen coe.
mr. coe was a little ahead of his time, but DAC is nothing if not progressive. now, this will make a whole lot more sense if you know who anita bryant is...if not, it may seem a bit convoluted.
hey, fuck anita bryant/
who the hell is she/
tellin all them faggots/
that they can't be free/
throw that bitch in prison/
maybe then she'll see/
just how much those goddam homosexuals mean to me/
they all read and write/
fuck all night/
clean your fingernails/
help ya dress stay yer stress/
and lay ya down some rails/
be yer wife, take your life/
in a jealous rage/
who says we don't need them homosexuals?/
i tell ya, some are big, some are small some are inbetween/
some are yella-bellied queers/
some of them are mean/
some are killers, some are theives, some are singers, too/
in fact, anita bryant, some act just like you,
