In the name of "fighting Al Qaeda or associated forces" or those who "support" those bad guys, the U.S. government has authorized:
- Assassinating people [3] anywhere in the world without due process or even a legal charge . . .
- including U.S. citizens living on American soil [4]
- Indefinitely detaining [5] any American [6] - without trial [7] (and see this [4])
- Torturing people [8] . . .
- including Americans living on American soil [9]
- Labeling virtually any American as a "terrorist [10]"
In other words, the government has shredded our constitution and destroyed our freedom and liberties in order to fight Al Qaeda and associated forces.
And yet the government is itself supporting [11] - with money, arms, and logistical support [12] - Al Qaeda and associated forces in a number of nations.
The U.S. is supporting Al Qaeda and other terrorists [13] in Syria. America funds terrorist groups within Iran [14]. And we supported Al Qaeda terrorists in Libya [15] (and here [16]).
Does that mean that American military and law enforcement personnel should arrest, indefinitely detain, label as "terrorists", torture or assassinate those in D.C. who are authorizing the support?
