Middle-East Migration - The Problem/Opportunity Dilemma
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/20/2015 19:45 -0500A problem can turn into an opportunity if tackled with a clear mind and a kind heart; seldom can it be solved with fear; and never, ever with hate.

Europe's Ethnic (R)Evolution - It Will Never Be The Same Again
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/18/2015 14:10 -0500Europeans are caught between being compelled to help - on what is truly a humanitarian catastrophe - and dealing with the uncertain consequences of bringing in such a large number of people. Part of that anxiety relates to the fact that the majority of those migrants adhere to Islam, where its relationship with Europe has been uneasy for many centuries. However, framing the debate in religious terms is too simplistic and overlooks some important facts. Whatever your view is, one thing is clear: Europe will never be the same again.
War Is The Health Of The State - Protecting Yourself From "Financial Tyranny"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/17/2015 19:50 -0500Our current monetary system is the root cause of many evils of today. Let’s take war, a topic we discussed in this article, as an example. Without a monetary system that creates currency out of thin air, most of the wars that we have had and still have would simply not be financeable. This system is controlled by a few, who change the rules to their own benefit. And as we have seen they use their privileges to finance wars and to bribe politicians. By holding your wealth in precious metals you are rejecting the current system and also protecting yourself from “financial tyranny”. This includes: capital controls, expropriation, bail-ins, bailouts, negative interest rates, market manipulation on a wide scale and massive paper currency fluctuations.

The long awaited day is finally here by which we, of course, mean the day when nobody has any idea what the Fed will do, the Fed included. Putting today in perspective, there have been just about 700 rate cuts globally in the 3,367 days since the last Fed rate hike on June 29, 2006, while central banks have bought $15 trillion in assets, and vast portions of the world are now in negative interest rate territory.
"I'm Not Sure We Can Register Them All": 5,600 Refugees Pour Into Croatia After Migrant Route Change
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/17/2015 06:47 -0500“Normally when one route gets blocked or more difficult, migrants’ first choice is to return to an old established route. It is likely that some people will look again at the central Mediterranean route from Libya — we can predict a spike there — and people will be working on rival Balkan routes as we speak."

Europe Approves "Military Action" Against Refugee Smugglers As Germany Warns 1 Million Coming
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/14/2015 09:04 -0500Europe's refugee crisis is getting worse by the day. Less than 24 hours after Germany announced it would impose border controls with Austria, followed promptly by the Czech Republic, Slovenia and now the Netherlands, German vice chancellor Sigmar Gabriel predicted that as many as 1 million refugees may arrive by the end of the year as other nations moved to fortify their frontiers. In the meantime, however, Europe is dramatically escalating measures to halt the influx and as AFP reported earlier today, the European Union has now approved military action against human traffickers in the Mediterranean Sea.
10,000 Syrians Are Headed For The Following 180 US "Refugee Processing Centers"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/13/2015 22:14 -0500Just as Europe is shutting its doors to Syrian refugees, the US is opening its own. The following map and list reveals the 180 refugee processing centers that will host some 10,000 Syrian refugees in the coming year.
A Refugee Crisis Made In America
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/13/2015 21:40 -0500We Americans are in something approaching complete denial about how truly horrible our nation’s recent impact on the rest of the world has been. We are universally hated, even by those who have their hands out to receive their Danegeld, and the world is undoubtedly shaking its head as it listens to the bile coming out of the mouths of our presidential candidates. Shakespeare observed that the “evil that men do lives after them,” but he had no experience of the United States.
Forget The Greek Crisis, Immigration Will Divide Europe Against Itself
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/12/2015 11:30 -0500Europe has complex immigration rules. But, as the recent influx of refugees and economic migrants has shown, the EU government is able to flex its muscle in an ad hoc fashion in the service of compelling member states to accept the migrants and refugees. Ultimately, however, the imposed "solutions" to the migrant and refugee crisis may be a signal to many members that the EU isn't quite what they thought it was.
