Trump Warns The Fed "Is Creating A Bubble That Could Explode"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 08/05/2015 13:17 -0500Paul Volcker's "policy and demeanor were very solid," explains Donald Trump in a brief Bloomberg TV interview, pointing out that the inflation-taming former Fed head is a role model for the type of central banker he would pick. While admitting he "has always done well in a low rate environment," Trumps slammed the current Fed's ZIRP for "creating a bubble.. and the bubble could explode." Trump had - as usual - plenty to say on topics from Ex-Im Bank (against it as not "free enterprise"), to campaign financing (favoring full transparency of money in politics) careful to brag - jabbing at The Kochs - that "I don't need anybody else's money."
There Is Officially No Difference Between Jeb And Hillary, Whose Biggest Donors Are The Same
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 08/05/2015 11:38 -0500What many have tacitly known for a long time was finally confirmed overnight when an analysis of Federal Election Commission data by Vocativ and The Daily Beast found that of the 60 or so ultra-rich Americans - aka the mega-donors - who have contributed to both Jeb Bush’s and Hillary Clinton’s federal campaigns, seventeen of those contributors have gone one step further and opened their wallets to fund both Bush’s and Clinton’s 2016 ambitions.
Trump May Be Soaring In The Polls, But The Bookies Aren't So Sure
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 08/05/2015 10:25 -0500At 1000-to-1, Kim Kardashian is an outsider in the race to be the next US President but perhaps most notable in the odds that bookies are willing to offer is the 7th place that Donald Trump ranks (at 18-to-1 or just a 5% probability of winning), below GOP rivals such as Jeb Bush (23% probabiity) and Marco Rubio (11% probability). Trump even ranks below Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden according to where the money is being bet! Of course, Hillary remains the odds-on favorite at 10/11 (or 52% probability).
What's The Difference Between Hillary, Snowden And Manning?
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 08/03/2015 17:30 -0500Having a security clearance comes with a certain amount of responsibility and those who are privy to potentially sensitive information are expected to exercise good judgement. In other words, whether or not the information carried a giant red "top secret" stamp isn’t the relevant question, nor is "no harm no foul" a legitimate after the fact defense. And that, apparently, is the difference between a Clinton and say a Manning or a Snowden - that is, holding Hillary (or any other member of what Jimmy Carter would call America’s "political oligarchy") to the same standards as everyone else turns out to be an uphill battle.
Bernie, The Koch Brothers, & Open Borders
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/31/2015 17:55 -0500Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders recently raised the ire of both progressives and libertarians with his remarks concerning immigration. In just a few sentences, Sanders manages to demonstrate a hodgepodge of nativist, nationalist, protectionist, and socialist sentiments. But for anyone wondering why he wandered off the progressive narrative on immigration, it’s because protectionist labor unions pay him better than, say, La Raza.
Friday Humor: The Trump White House & Cabinet
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/31/2015 14:20 -0500Having told Jimmy Kimmel that he "would love to" appoint Sarah Palin to his cabinet, The Washington Post asks (and answers), just what would a trump cabinet look like?
Donald Trump's Soaring Popularity "Is The Country's Collective Middle Finger To Washington"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/30/2015 22:30 -0500Donald Trump’s ascendance as the early GOP front-runner is symbolic of a greater global trend: growing pushback against institutional political and economic power.
Now It's Personal: Koch Brothers "Freeze Out" Donald Trump
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/30/2015 17:06 -0500With everyone asking 'what can derail this?', perhaps, there is something. As Politico reports, the massively influential Koch brothers are freezing out Donald Trump from their influential political operation - denying him access to their state-of-the-art data and refusing to let him speak to their gatherings of grass-roots activists or major donors.
Ron Paul Slams Gen. Wesley Clark: Is He Kidding, Internment Camps?
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/28/2015 20:15 -0500"Last week, Retired General Wesley Clark, called for the government to identify people most likely to be radicalized so we can 'cut this off at the beginning.' That sounds like 'pre-crime'!...These statements and others like them most likely reflect the frustration felt in Washington over a 15 year war on terror where there has been no victory and where we actually seem worse off than when we started. The real problem is they will argue and bicker over changing tactics but their interventionist strategy remains the same."

Could Trump Win?
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/28/2015 19:45 -0500The American political class has failed the country, and should be fired. That is the clearest message from the summer surge of Bernie Sanders and the remarkable rise of Donald Trump. But can Trump win?
There May Be Hope For The U.S. Yet: Caitlyn Jenner's Reality Show "No Ratings Bonanza"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/28/2015 16:17 -0500According to Nielsen data, almost three times as many Americans watched "Celebrity Family Feud" on ABC that night. The audience for "I am Cait" also suffered a marked drop from the almost 8 million people who watched the ESPY awards show on television two weeks ago on which Jenner, 65, was presented the Arthur Ashe courage award."
Meanwhile, In Ethiopia

Meanwhile the president is in China's African slave colony of Ethiopia... prioritizing.
Donald Trump's Top 30 Insults
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/26/2015 20:45 -0500Amid the 16 (yes sixteen!) candidates for Republican Presidential nominee, there is one, and only one, that stands above the rest in terms of sheer un-filtered, un-political, and some would say un-presidential outspoken-ness. In an oustanding aggregation of abuse, The Hill has documented Donald Trump's Top 30 insults (so far in the 2016 campaign alone).

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/26/2015 17:15 -0500As dozens now vie for residence in the big white one of Pennsylvania Avenue, MarketWatch, courtesy of LoanDepot.com and CoreLogic, unveil the homes (since most own more than one) and mortgages of the 2016 presidential candidates. With homeownership rates at multi-decade lows, and the American Dream disappearing for most, it appears it pays to be in government - from Trump Tower and Clinton's Compounds to Bernie Sanders' underwater mortgages and Carly Fiorina's five fireplaces...
