In the stock market, if you use inside information to procure an advantage in share dealing, you are breaking securities law.
If you front-run a clients orders you are breaking securities law.
If you commit a crime such as racketeering (extortion, loan-"sharking", bribery, and obstruction of justice in furtherance of illegal business) you are breaking securities law.

The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) is inching back to the 52 week highs as the July 4th holiday approaches. Many investors and traders are looking to short the double top at $104.15 but there is another level much better. Just above that double top at $107.30. This level is the 2007 all time high on the stock and a major resistance level. Lock it in, this is where you want to sell Boeing or short it. ...Continue reading here: http://bit.ly/11aFeS6

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) crowd were celebrating conservatives angry yesterday with the Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision to over-turn the Congressional Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and remand California’s Proposition 8 back to the lower courts. But I believe the Court’s decisions were consistent with the Commerce Clause and 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The US recovery is supposedly now well underway. So here is a puzzle that I can't figure out.
The Fed has been buying up bonds at a rate of $85 billion a month. I know that Bernanke has hinted that this may come to an end, but not immediately.
Now $85 billion a month times 12 months is over $1 trillion.
The US GDP is about $16 trillion.

enquiring minds notice that the cash for the acquisition has occurred at a time of massive money printing by the Japanese central bank and a government aim to devalue the currency to spur export activity of goods and services.

Just wondering if anyone had any opinions on Martin Armstrong of Princeton Economics (before prison) and late of ArmstrongEconomics.com? His ideas are interesting, but a bit hard to swallow.
I can't say I know lots about economics but his ideas on cycles are intriguing, to say the least. He has called some amazing dates, like the market crash in Octover 1987. But he's also called things wrong as well.
Anyone?

Summer is here and the beaches are open in the US, Europe and elsewhere. How appropriate then that the second wave of mandatory clearing has now hit US shores....

“Wag the Dog” is the political strategy for a national leader to start a military operation to divert negative attention away from him. In 1997, Hollywood produced a Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman movie by the same name about an American President caught up in a sex scandal that decides to start a war in the Balkans to distract the public. Eighteen months later with President Bill Clinton facing a sex scandal, he started a war in the Balkans.

Free Calls via the Web and iPhone by using enum.
Have you ever heard via the web, you can make free calls to your iphone? The world of technology has made all these things possible. It has helped us to live convenient and comfortable lives. Do you still remember long time ago; we had to spend so much money on long distance calls or international calls? We also sent letters to our friends and families where we do not know if they will receive or not. The cost of communication has also been a obstacle in keeping in touch with our loved ones.

There is money to be made and I intend to make some. Being long the coal stocks for next week is where the money appears to be lurking in an otherwise poor market. This is due to the strength we are seeing today in stocks like Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (NYSE:CLF), Peabody Energy Corporation (NYSE:BTU), Walter Energy, Inc. (NYSE:WLT). ...Continue reading here: http://bit.ly/13XRwKb
