Financial Instability & The Fed
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 12/16/2015 13:05 -0500The argument that the Fed should do nothing - for it will be harder to correct a rate rise than to do nothing - because there is no bubble anywhere, demonstrates that we have the most serious BUBBLE in history. The FED is between a rock and a hard place. It will be blamed no matter it does. Nobody seems to understand the dynamics of the trend in motion.
Martin Armstrong Slams "Myopic" Policymakers' Ignorance That Lower Rates Fuel Deflation
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 12/14/2015 21:00 -0500Those in power never understand markets. They are very myopic in their view of the world. The assumption that lowering interest rates will “stimulate” the economy has NEVER worked, not even once. Nevertheless, they assume they can manipulate society in the Marxist-Keynesian ideal world, but what if they are wrong?
Martin Armstrong Warns "QE Has Failed... Central Banks Are Simply Trapped"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 12/01/2015 21:00 -0500The central banks are simply trapped. They have bought in bonds under the theory that this will stimulate the economy by injecting cash. But there are several problems with this entire concept. This is an elitist view to say the least for the money injected does not stimulate the economy for it never reaches the consumer. This attempt to stimulate by increasing the money supply assumes that it does not matter who has the money... The attempt to “manage” the economy from a macro level without considering the capital flow within the system is leading to disaster.

Why Now?
Police Civil Asset Forfeitures Exceed The Value Of All Burglaries In 2014
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/17/2015 13:30 -0500Between 1989 and 2010, U.S. attorneys seized an estimated $12.6 billion in asset forfeiture cases. The growth rate during that time averaged +19.4% annually. By 2014, that number had ballooned to roughly $4.5 billion for the year. Now, according to the FBI, the total amount of goods stolen by criminals in 2014 burglary offenses suffered an estimated $3.9 billion in property losses. This means that the police are now taking more assets than the criminals.
Martin Armstrong Rages "It's Time To Knock Off The BS About 'Surveillance For Terrorism'"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/15/2015 15:45 -0500"The worldwide collection of phone calls, emails, text messages and our total loss of privacy is all about taxes – NOT terrorism. With all this power, and the demand that encryption be outlawed, none of this surveillance has stopped one terrorist act... Let’s knock off the bullshit and stop the Stasi tactic of building files on everyone. Focus on just the targets to protect society sand we just might stop something like this if we tried."

Martin Armstrong Warns "It May Be Too Late"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/11/2015 13:20 -0500"Our Presidents have been weakened and usurped by the insiders. Obama got to play golf with Tiger Woods while the nation he handed to the insider crowd. We need to rethink the structure of government but it may be simply too late."
Martin Armstrong Explains How To Create A Fairer System
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/21/2015 18:50 -0500The Founding Fathers of the United States revolted over taxation without representation. We are back to that now, for we are being taxed to pay interest to service debts from the last two generations. We had no right to vote on that spending, which took place before we were born. This is not a democratic process.
Martin Armstrong Rages Against Socialism: "Government Has Replaced God"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/19/2015 16:15 -0500Socialism violates the Ten Commandments which prohibits anyone from coveting what their neighbor has. Well, God must have had a bad day for he does not understand what is fair. If someone is smarter than others are, that is OK and God’s Will, but he should not have more material things. God obviously cannot be all knowing since Marx must be right. God clearly can’t understand what is fair.
Martin Armstrong Warns: The Loss Of All Liberty Is Coming Faster Than You Imagined
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/16/2015 14:55 -0500Politicians have zero respect for our human rights for they only think about how they are going to raid our wealth to pay for their families and retirements at our expense. These people are highly dangerous. They only see government as the solution and do not grasp that we have rights. Government wants to eliminate all encryption because they are hunting money. You have a 1000 times greater chance of dying in a car crash than by a terrorist. They use terrorism as the great excuse to collect everything we do.
Peak Government Is Here: Martin Armstrong Warns "From Here On Out, It Gets Real"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/02/2015 14:00 -0500Today marks a “major change in trend of monumental proportions," according to Martin Armstrong. The government will start to lose control and the lurking monster that is excess debt will rear its head. Today is the start of the "real" sovereign debt crisis - "this concentration of confidence in government marks the peak - from here on out, this will not be a video game - this is real."
The New European Normal - "If You Cannot Tell The Truth, Hide The Truth"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/24/2015 08:35 -0500Perhaps Volkswagen is the best most recent example of "lying when it's important" but as Martin Armstrong, the European Union's leadership (elected and unelected) are the kings of hiding the truth when it matters. As he warns, "if you do not know whom to trust, distrust everyone." The motto of the ECB is plain and simple: why reform when we still have some power? Governments will fight until the last drop of blood is spilled; they assume it will be your blood, not theirs.
The Youth Must Rise Up: Martin Armstrong Warns "The End Of The Noose Around Our Necks" Is Nigh
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/23/2015 13:15 -0500"The politicians cannot understand that they are destroying your future. All they can see is their need to retain power... We are reaching the end of this noose around our neck that was placed there by Marx. What you need to do is take back government. You cannot create a solution with the same line of thinking that created the current mess. The future belongs to the youth. Understand the devil you are dancing with. It is time to become politically active and challenge the establishment for that is the only way to save the future."
Keynes Would Be “Buying Gold Hand Over Fist” Today
Submitted by GoldCore on 09/22/2015 06:19 -0500"Unlike his acolytes, Keynes understood the value of gold and the dangers of currency debasement ... World where currencies are backed by nothing more than a governmental promise to pay while the printing presses whirled unchecked ..."
