Waste,Fraud and Abuse
Submitted by themoneytrader on 09/20/2013 13:21 -0500The Congress (House) recently voted to cut the food stamp program by 40 billion dollars over the next ten years. The rationale: we need to cut waste, fraud and abuse in the government. If that's the goal, then the place to start is surely the Congress itself. The is no bigger source of waste, fraud and abuse anywhere in the whole U.S. government. The idea that these people get a paycheck for what they do is an outrage, and a crime against the Republic.

I have noticed, a lot lately, that a LOT of people are beginning to get discouraged at their attempts at prepping.
* They can't collect enough 'things.'
* They can't convince their family.
* They can't afford the latest, up-to-date, ultimate doodad.
Let's put some of those worries to rest, where they belong.

This was an intended, but unfortunate, sound bite for the press, and should not be construed as a rationale, or worse, an excuse for going to war. Americans need to be a little more vigilant this time around, and not let the country get dragged into another pointless and expensive war.
