Texas Governor Rick Perry To Explain How (Despite 2nd Case) Ebola Is "Contained" - Live Feed

Perry confirms some children may have had contact with Dallas Ebola patient

With rumors spreading (and seemingly confirmed) of a 2nd Ebola case in Dallas; Texas Governor Rick Perry is set to explain to the American public that it's all under control (despite the hospital discharging the Ebola victim 2 days ago) and the virus is contained (despite its potential spread to 12-18 more people)... rest assured Americans, Dance Moms will be on soon...

CDC Confirms First Ebola Case Diagnosed In The US, In Dallas Hospital - Press Conference Live Feed

As experts (as opposed to President Obama) had warned, the probability of Ebola coming to the US is around 20% by year-end. So it should not be a total surprise that:

*CDC CONFIRMS FIRST EBOLA CASE DIAGNOSED IN THE UNITED STATES, PATIENT IS IN DALLAS HOSPITAL, NEWS 8 REPORTS
*CDC DIRECTOR SAYS: `THERE IS NO DOUBT WE WILL STOP IT HERE'

The patient recently returned (via plane) from traveling from Liberia, West Africa. This perhaps explains why CDC was "taking precautions in the US" as we noted previously. And don't forget the administration's interference in Ebola treatments.

Japan Declares Level 3 Emergency, At Least One Dead After Volcano Erupts In Central Japan

When one thinks of Japan and natural disaster, the things that usually come to mind are earthquakes, tsunamis, radioactive lizards, the occasional massive nuclear power plant explosion. Not volcanoes - those are usually delegated to the sole country that dared to give bankers the middle finger, Iceland. And yet, overnight Japan declared a level 3 alert (on a scale of 1 to 5) when a volcano in central Japan erupted, sending ash clouds down the mountain’s slope for more than 3 kilometers. According to RT, at least one person has died and 70 were injured, while aircraft have been forced to divert to avoid the dangerous area. Medics confirmed the death of at least one person, while 70 more were reported to be injured, NHK reported. Thirty of the injured have been sent to hospital in critical condition, health officials added. One can only hope there were no nuclear power plants in the immediate vicinity of the volcano.

Australia Unleashes Draconian New Anti-Terror Law In Orwellian Orgy Of Baseless Fear-Mongering

Understanding how the power structure thinks, and how it intentionally manipulates the emotions of the masses, is key to overcoming and rolling back totalitarian ambitions. Indeed, to borrow a term from Glenn Greenwald, “fear-manufacturing” has been in overdrive across the Five Eyes nations over the past several weeks, but nowhere is fear being used in a more clownish and absurd manner to strip the local citizenry of its civil liberties than in Australia.

President Obama Addresses The United Nations General Assembly - Live Feed

"We did it for your own good," could perhaps be the mantra of President Obama's address to The United Nations' General Assembly this morning as the Nobel Peace Prize winner looks his fellow world-leaders in the eye and explains why the US unilaterally invaded Syria to save them all from the Dread Pirate Roberts ISIS/ISIL/Islamic State (and now The Khorasan Group). As AP reports, on Wednesday afternoon, Obama will convene an unusual meeting of the U.N. Security Council, during which members were expected to adopt a resolution that would require all countries to prevent the recruitment and transport of would-be foreign fighters preparing to join terrorist groups such as the Islamic State group. Good luck with that.

The American Public: A Tough Soldier Or A Chicken Hawk Cowering In A Cubicle?

For a mass of people so easily terrified by guys in caves funded and armed by our intelligence services and “allies” in the Persian Gulf, the American public talks with such armchair bravado when it comes to launching bombs from drones and sending other people’s children to die. Makes you wonder though, which one is it? Is the American public actually the tough guy soldier it pretends to be when cheering overseas military interventions, or is it really a scared, propagandized, coward hiding in one of our nation’s endless cubicle rows? Unfortunately, based on recent opinion polls demonstrating approval for military action against ISIS, it appears to be the latter. The former is merely a front put on by that terrified, economically insecure, silently suffering automaton.

Miami Hospital Reports Potential Ebola Case

While details of the case and patient are not immediately known, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said earlier that a potential case of Ebola is being treated at a Miami-are hospital. This comes as the WHO reports a surge of "many thousands of new cases" in Liberia in recent days and fears rise that the dreadful disease could be spread by animals.

Obama Folds To Democrat Demands, Delays "Unilateral" Immigration Action

“I’m beginning a new effort to fix as much of our immigration system as I can on my own, without Congress....  Deputies will identify actions my administration can take on our own, within my existing legal authorities, to do what Congress refuses to do and fix as much of our immigration system as we can. I expect their recommendations before the end of summer and I intend to adopt those recommendations without further delay." - White House, June 30

"Because of the Republicans’ extreme politicization of this issue, the president believes it would be harmful to the policy itself and to the long-term prospects for comprehensive immigration reform to announce administrative action before the elections" - White House, September 6

ISIS Sends 2nd Beheading "Message In Blood" Video; Warns Kurds "Huge Mistake Joining Hands With America"

Just hours after hours after another video purporting to show the mass execution of up to 250 Syrian soldiers in the desert, The Independent reports ISIS has released a video apparently showing the beheading of a Kurdish man in Iraq as a warning to Kurds fighting the group in the country. The video, entitled "A Message in Blood" ends with the victim beheaded and the fighters warn others will face the same fate should Kurdish leaders choose to continue an alliance with the US..."You have made a huge mistake by joining hands with America."

White House Scrambles To 'Clarify' Obama's "ISIS Strategy"

"Strategy" or "No Strategy"? Minutes after last night's admission by the President that "we don't have a strategy yet," the White House public relations department went into full damage control mode. Shameless spokesman Josh Earnest used the word "strategy" 33 times in a brief interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer and this morning the "clarifications" continue. As NBC reports, “The president hasn't yet laid out a specific plan for military action in Syria,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest. “And the reason for that is simply that the Pentagon is still developing that plan and he is still reviewing it.” This seems to us like yet another admission that there is 'no strategy' akin to being half pregnant.

Chelsea Clinton is Quitting Her $600,000/Year NBC "Reporter" Job

Shortly after it was revealed by Politico that NBC had stooped to new lows in favoritist nepotism, having paid Chelsea Clinton an annual salary of $600,000 for "occasional" reporting work, in effect making her one of the highest paid if not the highest paid "reporter" in the world, the former first daughter quickly stunned everyone when, in the aftermath of her mother's just as stunning commentary on personal wealth and what being "broke" in the New Normal apparently means, she stated rhetorically that "I was curious if I could care about money and I couldn't." So, moments ago, to prove that she really no longer cares about such earthly things as money, since between her hedge fund husband and her parents, she has more than she can possibly spend in one lifetime, AP reported that Chelsea Clinton is quitting her job as a reporter at NBC News.
