ANGELA AND THE BLACK SWAN
William Banzai Yeats
A SUDDEN blip: the monetary union teetering still
Above the staggering Frau, her thighs caressed
By the outliers, her beloved Vaterland caught to pay the bill,
He holds her helpless wallet upon his breast.
How can those terrified political fingers push
The feathered PIIGs glory from her loosening thighs?
And how can body, laid in that black rush,
But feel the deranged fiscal heart beating where moral hazard lies?
A shudder in the voters engenders there
The broken wall, the burning EURO roof and tower
And unified currency dead.
Being so caught up,
So mastered by the brute blood of the speculators air,
Did she put on this flawed knowledge under his power
Before the indifferent beak could let her drop?

"There is in Greek Mythology, the story of Leda and the Swan. Wiki notes: Zeus took the form of a swan and raped or seduced Leda on the same night she slept with her husband King Tyndareus. From this union came Helen (of Troy fame) and Pollux.
In some versions, she laid two eggs from which the children hatched. In other versions, Helen is a daughter of Nemesis, the goddess who personified the disaster that awaited those suffering from the pride of Hubris.
Nemesis is the one taken by Zeus in the form of a swan and Leda merely finds the egg and hatches it. The similarity to the present situation of Greece is obvious. Zeus, The Master of the Universe, takes the form of a swan and will have his way with Leda no matter what.
Likewise, the Banking Class, the Modern Day Masters of the Universe, will attempt to have their way with Greece.
But there is one big difference. Should the Greeks put up a better fight than helpless Leda, and Just Say No, the Black Swan may rape the Banking Class instead. Let us devoutly pray for this."
