THE KRAKEN
Alfred Lord Tennyson
(WilliamBanzai7)
Below the thunders of the fiat deep;
Far, far beneath in the abysmal economic sea,
His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep
The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee
About his shadowy market slides: above him swell
Huge sponges of millennial deficit height;
And far away into the sickly moral hazard light,
From many a wondrous grot and Illuminati cell
Unnumbered and enormous Banksta polypi
Winnow with giant arms the slumbering Greenback.
There hath he lain for ages and will lie
Battening upon obscene Keynesian worms in his sleep,
Until the printer fire shall heat the deep;
Then once by central banking morons to be seen,
In clouds of ink he shall rise and on the surface die.
